7 YEARS LATER

Third Person Pov:

It's been 7 years since that incident. Only in few hours the inseparable friends were separated. Both lost contact and got busy in their work.

Y/n's Pov:

I was working on my laptop when I got call from Yeonjun.

Yeonjun: Hey, Are you free right now?

Y/n: Not right now but why?

Yeonjun: Wanted you to meet someone but now you busy I think next time...

Y/n: Wait. Are you asking me to meet your girlfriend?! (Excited)

Yeonjun: Hmm.

Y/n: That's it. I am free after 7pm.

Yeonjun: Okay. I will message Mark about the time and venue. Please be on time. Bye I'll keep the phone. If our boss sees me talking then I am dead.

Y/n: Bye

I looked saw the time. I still have hours. I sighed and started working.

"Are you done? Here is your cup of coffee", Mark said giving me cup. "No, still have some corrections to do. What made you come here?", I asked. "I got some tea", he said excitedly. "Spill it then", I said.

He started talking about how our boss and his wife had an argument. I kept listening while working. "By the way I heard that our new branch is opening in Korea. Probably both of us and Yeonjun will be transferred there", He said. "You rarely go back there. In all these 7 years, You have only been twice there. Don't you miss anyone".

I stopped typing. I was all alone here for almost a year. Luckily I knew how to speak English, so it wasn't a big problem. When I entered University I met Mark. Later I got to know Yeonjun too is here. We got close. Later, I told Mark about my past in Korea. After graduating, We three got job in same company. Me and Mark are in same department while Yeonjun is in different.

"What are you thinking?", he snapped his fingers. "I do miss them. I have spent my whole childhood there. There are a lot of memories", I said.

"I know. I have heard a lot of your childhood stories. Once we go there I am going to Lee Chan aka Dino. Heard a lot about him from you", He said. I smiled hearing Dino. "You miss him a lot, don't you? Also, you still like him", I nodded and said, "I do miss him but I don't think I feel same anymore".

"Not only him. Many of them. I don't even know how they are doing. Sometimes I just wish to go and talk with them, spend time with them but I can't", I said looking down. "Y/n, whatever happened was in past. It was just a immature act any teenager would do. I am sure they would have forgiven you", He said.

"I have met only four of them. They forgave me and rest would too but my biggest question is will everything be same between me, Dino and Seokmin. Its been whole 7 years", I said. This topic was already discussed a lot of times.

"Anyways, are you coming to met Yeonjun's girlfriend", He asked. "Of course. He was literally behind her for so many years. He never told us who is she. I am curious", I said. "Yeah, And the only hint he gave us was that you know her very well", he said. I laughed.

"I will go then still some work is pending", he went and sat on his seat. This cabin is just for two of us cause we are the two who always handle most of the project.

Time skip:

I strechted my hand. "At last it is done", I said. "Let's go. It's almost time. He will be angry if we come late", Mark said who was waiting for me to complete my work.

I threw my car keys to Mark and said, "Please drive. I am bored to drive", He caught the keys and with a sweet smile he asked, "What will I get in return?", I too gave him a sweet smile and said, "Your favorite drink for whole week for free".

"Get in", he said opening the door. I played some soft music until we reached there.

We entered. I saw a hand waving there. It was Yeonjun. Infront of him was a girl probably his girlfriend. I smiled and went there with Mark behind me.

His girlfriend turned towards me and smiled. I stopped making Mark bump into me. She was still the same. "Mina", I whispered. I walked towards her. "I missed you a lot bestie", she said hugging me.

I too tightly hugged her. "I missed you a lot. I am sorry", I said. She made me sit and wiped my tears. "Don't be. In the end I met you. Don't cry. You look like tomato when you cry", I laughed. "Even you think right. She really looks like tomato when her face gets red", Mark suddenly said and extended his hand. "Hi, I am Mark Lee. Nice to meet you. I know you are Mina. Heard a lot about you from Y/n", he smiled.

"Boy stop. She is already taken", Yeonjun whispered. "How is my surprise Y/n?", he asked. "Too surprising. How did you two meet?", I asked.

"Umm, Actually I had come here for trip and met Yeonjun. We started talking through messages and here we are. Later I got to know Yeonjun works with you and are now close. So decided why not give a suprise", Mina said.

"The main reason I called you here is we are going back to Korea in next week. Tomorrow boss is going to announce this. We three are transferred there. I have heard it with my own ears. Also, we are getting married next month", Yeonjun proudly said.

I looked at Mina. She nodded her head. I squealed and hugged her. "My bestie is getting married", I said cheerfully. "Mina, why don't you live with me till then? You know, we have a lot to talk about", I suggested. "I was thinking about the same", Mina agreed. "Okay then. Move in with me whenever you want", I said. "But Mina-", Mark cut Yeonjun off, "No need to worry about her. She is going to live with Y/n for few days. You will handle everything alone, won't you?".

We talked and had fun. Mina decided to come the next day. I dropped Mark and went to my flat. I closed the door. I am going back again. All will be there. It's Mina's wedding means others are coming too. I will face them after 4 years. Last time I went there I only met Seungkwan, Seungcheol, Hoshi and Jeonghan. I got to know after graduation Dino decided to move to London as he got a job there. Same like me, he too decided to cut off the contacts.

Next Day:

I was making breakfast when the was the bell rang. I opened the door. "Good morning", Mina smiled giving me hug. She is just same as before but got more beautiful.

"We here too", Mark and Yeonjun said from behind. "Come in", I welcomed. "Did you see the mail?", Mark asked. "Hmm. I haven't replied yet". I said

"What are you talking about?", Mina asked. "About our transfer. They have asked if we are interested", I answered. "What have decided then?", Mina asked. "I am agreeing to it. I have decided to live there now. I just can't live here forever. Breakfast is ready", I said.

Time skip:

It was announced that three was us will we working in Korea's branch along with some workers for time being. By next week I will be in my home town. Our boss was kind hearted so he gave three of us holidays till then for working hard.

I went back home and was welcomed by Mina. "Good news. We have got holiday for five days. We have a lot of time till then", I said.

After having dinner Mina came to my room. "Why don't we talk? You have holiday tomorrow", I nodded and made space for Mina to sit. "How is life going on?", she asked. "It's going the way it is", she giggled.

"Y/n, today I was cleaning your room. You still have the photos. Don't you miss them?", she asked. "I do miss them, Mina. Sometimes I just cry missing you all. Especially Seokmin, you and Dino. They might be coming to the wedding right", I said

"I met all of them five months back. You know we all missed you and Dino. Jeonghan, Joshua, Wonwoo have started their own businesses there. Hoshi along with Minghao and Jun have started a dance academy. Others are continuing their family business including Seokmin. I heard Dino decided got a good job in London so he decided to move there. Just like you, he too lost contact with everyone except Seokmin. When we asked Dino to Seokmin, he says Dino doesn't want anyone to know about him. Life has changed for everyone. Not everyone lives in Seoul now. Some of them have to move from places to places because of their business", Mina said. Dino too lost all contacts. Means he will not come to wedding.

It's been whole 7 years I met him. After I left. Dino's parents to decided to move to other city. Now, they too rarely talk to Eomma and Appa. About my father's business, he is still working and is now thinking about closing it.

"Is Dino coming?", I hesitantly asked. "I haven't told him yet. I somehow got his number. Not only him I haven't told anyone except you and Mark. You and Mark seem close", Mina asked.

"Yeah, we are. He was the first one to come and talk with me. I barely knew anyone here", I said. "Y/n, I have a lot of questions to ask but don't know if it is okay", Mina said. I knew what she wants to ask. I nodded and said, "I think there is no need to hide now. Ask".

"Why did you do that?", was her first question. Not wanting to hide anything I told her everything including Dino's crush on Mina. "What. He liked me!", I nodded. "I don't think he does now. There was a lot of times he told me that he doesn't feel same", I said.

"Y/n did you ever feel anything for him", she asked. "I had just a crush on him Mina. Slowly I started liking him but he never saw me in such a way", I said smiling sadly.

"Do you still feel the same?", "I think so. I just don't know", I said as her question made a mess in my brain.

"If you ever get a chance to date him again. A real one. But this time he likes you too. Will you date him?", I slowly nodded.

"That's it girl. You still love him. You are confused because you haven't met him in years", she said. "Do I?", She nodded excitedly. I squinted my eyes and asked her, "You are planning to do something, aren't you? According to how much I know you. You will make sure Dino comes to your wedding and then you will try to set me up with him. Is this what going on in your head", I asked. She shamelessly nodded. "Then remove it out of your head. It will awkward between us believe me", I said and told her about the letter thing.

"How romantic. Writing a letter. No matter what you do. If Dino has feelings then I will make sure another couple is produced by the end of our wedding reception", She said.
"You are stubborn", I said. She just smiled.
