Y/n's Pov:

I stared at him. My brain was slowly processing his words. I wanted to hear this for a long time but now I have heard it, my mind went blank. Totally blank.

"Get up now, let's go home. It's already late", he said. Did he just forget whatever he said. Now please don't tell me whatever he said was just a joke, just like how they do in fictional stories. "And about what I told you. I was not joking", he said. He started walking while my body refused to move. He turned back and signaled me to get up.

"Did you get flustered by whatever I said now?", he asked. I got up not wanting to say anything. I stood beside him and looked at front while he looked at me. "Yeah. Let's go, you had enough of your fresh air. Also, whatever you said before I don't know what to reply. It was just so sudden", I said. We started walking. We were totally silent.

We could only hear the cars, some ladies gossiping, couples babying eachother and some dogs barking. "Bye", I said and turned towards my home but Dino held my hand. "Y/n, one request please. I hope whatever I said in garden won't affect our friendship. It is okay, if you want to forget it. I just told whatever I felt", He said. I turned towards him and asked, "Answer me honestly Dino. Do you want me to forget it?", he slowly shook his head.

"Okay then, I'll go. Don't be late tomorrow. I'll be waiting for you", I said and went inside my house. After closing the door I let out the smile I was holding in. I still feel it is a dream but if it is I don't want to wake up.

Dino's Pov:

I saw her going in. A huge smile spread on my face. I do not regret telling her. These words had been my mind for a time and now, those words came out through my mouth. Will she feel the same way as I do? I am really messed up.

"Dino, what are you doing out smiling like crazy. Come inside", Hyung shouted standing by the door. I went inside house and hyung was following me. "How did your study session go?", Hyung asked. "It went well. I'll go and freshen up", I said.

Third Person Pov:

It's been two days since that day. Y/n wasn't awkward nor was Dino. They behaved the same way they do. They would sometimes smile like creep while remembering the incident.

Dino was in his room studying for the final exams coming up. He was totally focused but his focus was disturbed by a phone call. He picked up the call.

Mina: Hello , Dino. I hope, I am not disturbing you 
Dino: Oh, not at all. Tell me what it is? Are you back from your town?
Mina: Yeah, I am. I called you because I wanted to talk to you about something. Is is okay if I meet you in garden near your house. Please bring Y/n too.
Dino: Ok
Mina: OK. Bye
Dino: Bye

She hung up the call. Dino called Y/n and told her everything Mina said in the call. Both were what she wants to tell us.

It was cold. Mina was alone standing in the garden waiting for her two best friends. "Hey, what happened?", Y/n asked to which Mina handed an envelope. "What is this?", Dino curiously peeked in. "Read it you will know", Mina said looking down.

Y/n opened the envelope. "Transfer certificate?", Y/n read. Mina nodded and said, "Once this term is finished. I am moving to my home town. I'll complete rest of education there. You see, my father has been transferred there. So...", Mina said trying to hold her tears.

Y/n hugged her and said, "Don't cry. We will try to be in contact with you. We still have two months for that. Let's create a lots of memories", Dino too nodded and joined to hug them.

They talked for a while. Mina was crying a lot and both had a hard time to calm her down. The three of them have known each other since childhood. It was the same place where Dino and Y/n had met Mina and their journey as friends started.

"So, it was the form you were writing when I met you at the rooftop", Dino asked. Mina nodded and said, "It's been a month we decided to move. Even my grandmother's health is not that good. Because of all this, it felt I like have been distant with you all", Mina said.

"It's okay Mina. Not like you are going far away from us forever", Dino said. "Are you going to tell this to others?", Y/n asked. Mina nodded and said, "I have not yet decided when to tell. I'll tell them before exam starts", Mina said.

"I don't know how will it be when next term starts. Half of them will be gone to university. You are leaving too. It will be only me, Dino, Seungkwan,  Vernon, Minghao and Mingyu", Y/n said.

All three talked for a while reminiscing their old memories. Even after spending 17 years with each other, 2 months felt too short.

Time skip:

Dino and Y/n were walking back home. One question was eating up Y/n' mind. The question was once Mina goes back, will they have to drop the act.

"What are you thinking?", Dino asked. "Nothing", Y/n said. She was still hesitant to ask. "Tell me, it won't hurt", Dino said. "Nothing, just thinking about Mina. I wonder how others will react to it", Y/n said.

"Are you done preparing for exams?", he asked. "Not much. I am still preparing. What about you?", Y/n asked. "Same here", Dino said. Both reached their own house. Dino went to room.

When he heard Mina, he surely felt sad that she is leaving. But he realised that the feeling he had for Mina slowly faded. Now with Y/n, he feels different. Totally  different from what he felt with Mina. He realized that he just mistook their friendship something than that.

"Did I really start seeing Y/n more than just a best friend", he said to himself after all the realizations he had. He shook his head and said, "If so then,I need to be confirm about my feelings. I just don't want to end up hurting Y/n or our friendship".
