The next day Lucas wasn't at the dining hall for breakfast. Rebekah was worried so she went to Master Wayne and asked him where he was. All Master Wayne did was hand Rebekah an envelope With her name on it and walked away. She opened the envelope to find a story about why Lucas decided to end his own life. It talked about how he had some kind of disease that couldn't be cured so he decided to end his own life instead of  going through the pain. But the sentence that stood out the most to her was the one that said that I hope you would decide to join me soon.

Rebekah was stunned. She didn't know what to think. Did the guy that she feel in love with really just ask her to end her life. She understood that he wanted them to be  together forever but she didn't understand the fact that she would have to end her life for it to happen.
