Mari slowly opens her eyes to the darkness of her room, rising up from her bed with painfully dread feeling over her head she tries to look around her room, it's dark... She sees a flashing red light on the computer table, it's the phone in her room... Dad must have left a message... Mari slowly gets out of bed and walks over to the phone pressing the button for the voice message

"Hi Mari it's me dad, I hope your doing alright sweety, I'm sorry but I messed up... I forgot to tell the electric company that we need a few more days before we leave so the lights might be out by tonight, I also left you  a note full of chores for you to do, finish them quickly before I come pick you up ok? I don't even think I can finish it all by the time we leave so just be prepared ok? Ah also you might want to say goodbye to your friends before we leave... Aubrey has been reaching out to us ever sience she saw me put our house out for sale, you should really say goodbye to your old friends for old times sake, I'll be picking you up in a few days ok? Your a grown up now so I know you can take care of yourself, have a goodnight honey"

Mari sighs as she looks away from the phone... Her friends... She has avoided them for so long now... How could she finds it within her to face them now...? Lost in thought Mari snaps out of it when she felt her stomach grumbling... She's hungry, Mari looks at a sticky note on the wall left by dad, there's stake in the fridge... Maybe she can have that for tonight... Mari walks out of her room and goes forwards the stairs but stopped... She looks down at the stairs in hesitation... As the voice questions her choices
Do you want to go down stairs...?
Mari shakes her head and goes back into her room and get in her and try to fall asleep maybe she can sleep off the hunger until morning... But alas she hasn't eaten anything in awhile so she could only toss and turn in her bed until she finally decided to get up and go outside... She looks down at the stairs again in fear, she takes a deep breath and slowly descends from the stairs, it only takes a few seconds for her to see the terrifying hands crawling up from the darkness as she walks down, Mari wants to run down faster but couldn't as she could feel the hands chasing after her, while trying to go down stairs faster Mari sees a knife on one of the steps and quickly takes it with her and continues to go as fast as she can, her head was reeling with fear as she tries to walk as fast as she could trying to put run the darkness and the illusions of hands until it caught up to her...
Standing face to face with a mysterious monster made of shadowy hands, Mari was afraid but she swings the knife at the monster as it taunts her way down stairs, her attack didn't do anything, she tries to attack it over and over again while it was making her feel so frighten she could felt like she was going to fall off the stairs... Her attacks still didn't do anything... The creature shoves  Mari down stairs and taunts her as she falls, Mari was frozen in fear, she couldn't know what to do until the creature then spoke...

???: remember what you said...? Take a deep breath... Don't be afraid... It's not as scary as you think...

Mari slowly steadies her breathing as she recalls the words... And she remembers how to Calm down...
After waking from the illusion, Mari walk out into the kitchen and saw the steak knife again... It was Sunnys favourite steak knife... Mari just held on to it and put it away in her pocket as she walks over to the fridge and sees the single plate of steak inside... She takes it and sees that it was too cold so she put it in the microwave to heat it up... After it was done heating up, Mari take the steak out and eats it, but once finish she feels nauseous and a terrible pain in her stomache, Mari ran up the stairs and quickly enters the bathroom to vomit in the toilet, the unbearable pain as the food pours out of her mouth... After she finish, Mari flushed the toilet and washed her face at the sink, Mari steps outside and was about to go back to bed when she heard someone knocking at the door... She felt worry... As she slowly goes down the stairs... Who would be knocking at their doors at this hour...? Aubrey...? No... It's not like she would be awake at this time... Mari cautiously goes to the front door and try to find out who it outside until she heard a familiar voice...

Sunny: Mari...? Are you there...? It's me... I'm sorry I come back so late... I forgot my keys... Can you please open the door and let me in...?

Mari eyes shots wide open as she  heard the pleading voice outside that belonged to her little brother

Mari: S-Sunny...?!

Mari grabs the door handle and swings the door open but suddenly a dark black creature appears at the door step scaring her, Mari quickly slams the door and pushed her back against the door as she sits down, 1 hand covering her mouth as she was trying to catch her breath... Of course... Why would that thing be her little brother... How could she ever expect to ever see him out late at night like that... Mari composed herself and wanted to sleep... So she goes back upstairs and went back to bed to escape all of the things that just happened... To escape somewhere that she is never alone...

Omari opens her eyes as she awake once more in her room, lying down on the floor, gets up and looks around and notice her computer screen was looking very strange... She takes the computer and turn it on only for the screen to glitch and show a black screen with letters on them... She couldn't understand what they mean when suddenly she heard a loud noise  from a distance... Something fell nearby... Omari turns off the computer and went searching for the object that fell... It was a map of headspace... So many areas yet to be discovered... Omari puts the map away in her pocket and walks back over to the door as it cast a faint shadow, Omari simply takes the door handle and opens the door back to the colourful world of her friends

Aubrey: Omari! Thank goodness your back!

Aubrey ran over to hug Omari as she caught the attention of the other 2 within the room
