Jacks pov

My phone beeps and I get up and look at it. it's from rap. I open it and it says you are invited to raps 17th party. then I accept and turn my phone off again and lie back down on my bed.

"Jack get up moms put out the dinner!" Emma shouts hitting me with a pillow.
"Fine I'm up" I say then she covers her eyes, I'm shirtless.
"Eww jack put on a shirt!" She yells looking away.
"Ah grow up, I'm a boy I can keep my shirt off if I want" I say and she glares and runs out my room.
"If you aren't down soon I'm going to eat your chicken!" She yells running downstairs and into the living room.

I put on a shirt and go downstairs to the living room and bite my roasting hot chicken. then I drop it "mom I told you I eat everything cold!" I tell then freeze the chicken and Emma giggles.
"Jack can we have ice lollies for dessert?" Emma asks finishing her chicken leg. I finish mine then nod.
"Yeah we can if you get the liquid" I say then we both go into the kitchen.

Emma goes into the fridge and takes out some apple juice then puts it in the ice lolly maker and hands me it. I then freeze it and take out an ice lolly and give it to her. "thanks jack, it's really cool to have someone like you" Emma says hugging me then runs to her room.

I walk to the front door "Emma I'm going out, stay here I will be back at 9 latest and if there's a problem call my mobile" I say then go outside and walk to the park where I said is meet hiccup and merida, I don't know why they wanted me because I don't recall doing anything badass in the past 24hrs.

I go to the park and walk up to merida and hiccup who are waiting in a bench. "hey guys what's up?" I say and I sit on the bench across from them.
"Jack we're really worried about ya" merida says looking concerned
"Why I'm fine" I say and hiccup hands me a football.

"What's the football for?" I ask then hiccup points to the football posts.
"If your fine score" he says and I put down the ball and concentrate then kick it and it misses completely. uh oh, I never miss.

"I knew it, ok spill" merida says and I sit back down.
"Nothing's wrong I just missed" I say and merida pulls that I don't believe you face.
"Jack Frost never misses" hiccup says putting his hand on my shoulder. I shake it off.

"Ok if we're here to discuss my problems I'm going because I have a 10 year old a sister alone at home" I say then stand up.
"Jack c'mon I know something's wrong I'm you best friend, best friends know everything" hiccup says then I shrug and fly off.

I go in though my window and go to Emma's room and push open her door a bit and she's sleeping. "sorry" I whisper then kiss her forehead and look out the window where moms pulling in the driveway.

I go downstairs and open the door "oh hi jake" she says.ever since dad left mom, moms been drinking and hasn't been a really good mother at all, she doesn't even know mine and Emma's names so I have to look after Emma 24/7.

"Hi mom, you need to be quiet because Emma's sleeping" I say then she hands me her coat and sits on the couch swigging back some alcoholic drink and pulling a drunk smile at me.
"Jack get me some whiskey now!" She shouts and I put my finger to my lips. "No I will now be quiet, you be quiet jake you idiot!" she yells then u shake my head.

"No mom this needs to stop, for Emma she's only 10 and I have to raise her alone so snap out of it and stop being a drunk!" I shout then Emma walks down the stairs.
"Ella go back to bed you idiot!" Mom shouts at Emma and I signal her to go upstairs.

Emma nods and goes back to her room and slams the door. mom runs after her and I run after mom. "leave her alone, Emma lock your door!" I shout then Emma's door locks and mom bangs on her door.
"Open the door you little shit!" Mom shouts then I push her away and stand infront if Emma's door.
"No you will not hurt her!" I yell think she smashes her bottle on my head and I go get knocked out.
