The sun shined. Birds chirped through the clear sky as a red haired and eyed girl walked through the sidewalk. Wearing a uniform of Sakurai Highschool. This girl's name is Red. Small grumbles came from her mouth as she stomped on her way to her new school.

"I can't believe I was enrolled in this fucking place...." She growled as she got in sight of Sakurai High's silver colored gateway. She stood in front of it for a few minutes before going inside the gates. The moment she steped in, everyone looked at her direction-- More like stared. Wispers came from everyone as she walked through the hallway. She lowered her head and walked to her classroom.

I hate this...She thought as she slumped on her seat. A sky blue haired girl was seating next to her, she glanced at Red. Studying her features. She then looked up front. Red sighed as she saw the teacher come in. This will be a long, torturing school day.

It was 10:00 am. Last morning class period. Red was standing in a corner as students cheered to their soccer team. The sky suddenly became gray as rain started to pour down. She opened her black umbrella while others runned inside the school grounds.

"Everyone get inside!!! The game is canceled!" The sports teacher shouted while everyone entered.

Red stayed outside with her umbrella open. She looked around and her eyes widened when she saw a strange figure crawling around. It was as dark as petroleum, it's eye was white and it looked like it dripped a weird black liquid. She shook her head and walked where a soccer ball was at and closed her umbrella. It was still raining, but she really didn't mind about it. She took a few steps back and gave a hard kick to it. The ball hited the net and Red fist bumped the air

Red's POV

"Score!" I said to myself as I grabbed a basket with three balls in it. I placed all of them in a line and took a few steps back, before giving a harsh kick to one of them. Once again, I scored. I glanced to see the strange creature, still there. I gave myself a small slap to see if I was dreaming. I looked again to see it there, where it was.

"Is my mind playing tricks on me?" I wispered as the animal....er thing crawled to the goal. I eyed it suspiciously as I kicked another ball. Missing it for about an inch. I glared at whatever that thing is and took about ten steps back. I dashed and kicked the ball so hard it seemed that it catched-- fire?!? The flaming ball gave a direct hit to that thing. A horrifying screech came from it as it bursted. Gross. That creature left some weird stain of black goo.

The wind suddenly picked up harshly. I looked up and saw that the clouds where spinning, and glowed a bright red. I gasped as the swirling light fell on the ground. I got closer to see a ruby laying on the floor. Hesitantly, I reached for it. Once I got hold of it, a pulsing energy filled me as I grunted. The ruby's glow dimmed, it was as red as my eyes. I felt some sort of connection with it.....And what was that...weird gooey creature....?

Dark Hechmen.....

"Huh?" The heck? Who said that? I looked around, but nobody was here, except for me. I looked back at the ruby. It shined softly as I was engulfed in the light.

"WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?!?!" I screamed as the ruby disappeared from my hands as I felt in my body a strong, pulsing energy go through me. I saw how my appearance changed completely. The glow eventually faded away. I yelped when I saw that I was wearing these red gloves and boots that faded to black. A short dress that was also red and faded to black, tied in my waist with a black ribbon. I saw on a puddle that my eyes and hair color had changed. Plus that a sword was on my left hand.

"What it the world?!?!" I shouted as I looked at myself "What's going on!?!?!"

You're the Ruby holder.....

I'm freaking out big time. I mean-- Who wouldn't freak out if someone had a sudden transformation like THIS?!?! The wind was still strong, blowing fiercely. I saw how some strange shadows gathered up inside the school. Right then I noticed that they all looked like the one I saw earlier.

"....This is bad....." I mumbled as I hesitantly opened the door. Just to see a strange looking student, with black ooze coming from her eyes, hands and legs. Sharp claws and fangs where visible and other students screamed in fear. The shadowy things took the form of a human!

"WhEre ArE ThE cRysTal gUarDiaNS!!!!" The creature screamed at the students as she hovered over them. A girl of my age rushed in as she holded two katanas. She had purple braided hair and eyes and she was wearing something similar to me. She sliced at the creature as it screeched.

"Don't just stand there-- Do something!!!!" The puple haired girl shouted at me as she was blowed back by a hit from that.....thing

I got filled with confidence as I dragged my sword out and slashed at that thing. It screeched and clawed at me, I dogged the sudend move. The girl got up and sliced at the creature, piercing through it's skin. The thing felled backwards and bursted into that black goo. Ugh. It's awfully GROSS!!!!

"Ew, Yuck!" I yelped as some goo fell next to me. I heard the same girl snicker

"Pretty good for being a newbie" She said as I raised a brow.

"Was that last comment necessary?" I asked with a tone of sarcasm. She looked at me and shrugged.

"The name's Galaxy. And you are.....?" She said softly.

"Uh...I'm Darknight"

"Well Darknight, I hope we meet each other soon" Galaxy said before dashing off somewhere. I runned outside and sighed. I was suddenly back to normal as the ruby was now on my belt.

"What a way to start in a new school...." I mumbled as I heard the bell ringed to signal lunch time.
