It was another day at UA High, the sky was bright and clear and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It made it hard for anyone to feel sad.

Izuku Midoriya woke up feeling great, he stretched to the sound of the chirping birds outside and smiled. His smile must have made the day even sunnier cause his smile was bright, anyone could have fallen in love with him just by his smile. He got out of bed and got dressed for another day at school.

Not so far away his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo woke up around the same time he did. He woke up feeling like he can conquer the world Until he heard the birds chirping outside. "Who the hell sings this early in the morning, what yall do all night?" He groaned and slumped out of bed having a slight headache. He walked over to his closet and got dressed for another day at his school.

Midoriya walked out the door instantly feeling the warm air outside matched with the cool breeze. It was a perfect day to just be outside, too bad school was today. Izuku was halfway out of his driveway before he noticed Bakugo walking outside not too far from him. Midoriya instantly felt happier just by seeing him. Midoriya speed walked towards Bakugo to catch up with him.

Bakugo was walking towards the school until he heard a few noises behind him he turned around to see his childhood friend he used to bully speed walking towards him. He felt kind of flustered.

"Hey, Kacchan!" Midoriya said cheerfully as he caught up with Bakugo. "What do you want nerd?" Bakugo lightly growled "I just wanted to say hello" "Well you did, why are you still here?" Midoriya's lips lightly curved down and his emerald eyes looked away from Bakugo's direction when he said that. Bakugo instantly felt kinda bad at what he said so he sighed and looked towards the green haired boy's direction. "It's a beautiful day out huh?" Midoriya looked at Bakugo for a second before curving his lips upward giving off a smile. "Yea it is" Bakugo felt his heart beat faster looking at the green haired boy's smile.

The two continued to walk to school until they reached the front door and was greeted by Uraraka. "Hey Deku!" She smiled and said cheerfully giving off a light blush. She then turned to Bakugo and gave off a totally different expression. "Hello, Bakugo" She said with a blank expression. Before grabbing Midoriya and dragging him off somewhere.

"Damn she can be a bitch sometimes, she didn't even say excuse me," Bakugo said scratching the back of his neck. He walked into the school and thought about the boy who was next to him not too long ago, he felt kinda sad cause he wasn't by his side anymore. But he then realized what he was thinking about and frowned. "Why in the hell am I suddenly thinking about that nerd? Damn, he must have done something."

Bakugo walked into the classroom with his hands in his pockets looking around. He noticed Midoriya was sitting at his desk looking out the window, Bakugo felt a little flutter in his heart watching him. He looked so beautiful with the rays the sunlight hitting his face, his emerald eyes shining, his perfect freckles and his plump lips. Bakugo licked his lips at the snack who sits behind him in class. Without even thinking the blonde's body walked toward him wanting to greet him but was stopped when someone blocked his opportunity to speak with the green haired boy. heart

Bakugo growled at who it was, it was Todoroki. He had made it to Midoriya's desk before Bakugo did. "Half n' half bastard" Bakugo muttered to himself as he walked over to his desk and sat down. It wasn't hard to know what they were talking about, considering the fact he sits right in front of Midoriya.

Todorki had confronted Midoriya and was talking to him, that didn't make Bakugo too happy so he just listened to their conversation. Todorki and Midoriya were talking about their day nothing interesting until Todorki said: "Hey Midoriya I'm having a sleepover at my place this weekend, are you interested in coming?" That made Bakugo slightly irritated, he was hoping Midoriya would say no. He was praying he would say no, but his prayers weren't answered and the answer that was given aced his heart a bit. "Sure Todoroki!" he heard Midoriya say.

Bakugo slightly slumped down into his seat, he wasn't planning on doing anything with Midoriya. But for some reason, it bothering him that he was staying at Todoroki's place. Until he got a good idea, he wouldn't have to feel jealousy all weekend if he was there with Midoriya. Bakugo then turned around to face Todorki "Hey Iceyhot I heard you talking about a sleepover, can I come?"

Todoroki and Midoriya looked shocked, but Todoroki quickly turned back to his emotionless expression leaving Midoriya with a still shocked face. "I thought you didn't like things like these," Todoroki said scratching the side of his ear. "Yea I don't, so I'm counting on you to change my perspective I'm going," Bakugo said turning around not waiting for Todoroki to invite him... or not.

It was quiet for a few seconds after Bakugo turned around, and then Todoroki and Midoriya exchanged bye's and Todorki returned to his desk.

Once Todorki sat down Midoriya tapped on Bakugo's shoulder earning his attention and smiled "I'm so glad you're going Kacchan." That made Bakugo's heart flutter once more and forced him to lightly smile. "Whatever dork" Bakugo turned back around and lightly blushed. "Agh... I must be in love with him I can't deny it." Bakugo thought.

Bakugo's thought was interrupted when Mr. Aizawa their homeroom teacher came in and addressed the class in his usual monotoned voice.

"Alright settle down, I have a few announcements to make before you leave today. Firstly Prom is coming up in 8 weeks." The class instantly got excited about that accidentally cutting Aizawa off. "Hey hey hey settle down, I'm not done talking," Aizawa said raising his voice which made the class get quiet again. "Be sure you have a date when you go or at least a group of friends. There will be a prom king and queen, so be sure to have nice suits and dresses... That is all."

The class got hyped up again about the prom but Bakugo wasn't really interested in it until a certain someone popped up in his mind. Bakugo lightly blushed at the thought of asking him to go to the prom with him, he just didn't know how or when to ask. Little did he know Midoriya felt the same way.

The end of the day came and it was time for school to end when Mr. Aizawa finished his speech and looked at his watch followed by the flick of a hand the class gathered up their things to leave. When Bakugo grabbed his backpack and headed to the door he was stopped by a tug on his jacket. He turned his head to see the adorable green haired boy staring up at him. "Hey, Kacchan wanna walk together today? We live pretty close" I felt a blush coming its way to my face but I managed to keep it down. "Sure nerd," I said stuffing my hands into my pants pockets.

The adorable green haired boy and the handsome blonde was walking together to get to their houses. They were silent until Midoriya started to speak "Hey Kacchan who are you taking to the prom?" That made Bakugo look at him, he wanted to say 'you' so bad but didn't instead he replied with "No one, we just got this news today I need time to think." Midoriya felt relieved at his answer because he hasn't chosen anyone yet"Oh same here" he said bad with a little smile.

Bakugo then looked at Midoriya's empty hand and wanted to hold it but resisted that urge.

Both boys arrived at Bakugo's house and Bakugo and Midoriya exchanged Bye's before parting. Midoriya then continued to walk towards his house which was only a few blocks away.

When Midoriya entered his house he sighed and blushed"Kacchan I hope you and me get to go to the prom together." Midoriya said while holding onto his shirt. He then went into the kitchen and greeted his mom before heading upstairs and flops onto his bed.

Bakugo stayed up watching TV thinking about Midoriya before he dozed off on his bed.
