Previously on Highschool of the Walking Dead

Firefighter: Get the ladder! Get them out of there now!

A group of firefighters show up to use the water hoses they have to blast away the Walkers.

Takashi: Who are these people?

Saeko: I don't think they're from the fire department.

The scene shows the leader of the firefighters to reveal Saya's mother.

Saya: Mommy!

Saya jumps in mid-air to land and hugs her mother for her to hug her daughter back.

Takashi: That's Takagi's mother? Fuckin' A, we're saved!

Saeko: (looks at the horde of Walkers) Not quite. I have a hard time believing more help is on the way.

Takashi: Well then we go to them. Come on, I know this area.

Takashi and Saeko ran the other way for Y/n and Saya saw them leaving.

Saya: I'll be waiting! Come to my house from the hill!

At the Takagi mansion, Y/n is in the garage to have a brown stripe flannel shirt with a beige tank top under it to have the same jeans and boots that he had from a few hours to show him loading his crossbow with a few bolts on the quiver. He was getting ready to go out and find Takashi and Saeko where they might still be in the city.

???: Whoa, hey now. What are you doing there, young man?

Y/n turns around to see a man who is a mechanic in the garage whose name is Matsudo.

Matsudo: You shouldn't be playing with that thing. It can get you hurt, you know.

Y/n: Thanks for the advice, old man, but I know how to use it.

Matsudo: Are you sure? That doesn't look safe for a kid like you at your age.

Y/n: (puts down the crossbow and walks to Matsudo) How 'bout you stop lecturing me and mind your own damn business, old man, before I start takin' a beat outta ya.

Matsudo: (raises arms in surrender) Whoa, whoa, okay.

Y/n: Good. I don't need someone bossing me around. (goes back to pick up the crossbow)

Matsudo: You sure you know how to use that thing? There's a lot of those things going on out there.

Y/n: Yeah, (slings crossbow on shoulder) and people in hell want slurpees.

Y/n walks out of the garage, leaving Matsudo confused by what he said. As Y/n was walking to the front gate, Saya saw him and went to him to talk to him.

Saya: Hey, what are you doing?

Y/n: What's it look like I'm doing.

Saya: No, you're not going out there.

Y/n: I'm going out there to find them. I don't care if you try to stop me.

Saya: The sun is almost down, there's no way you can find them when it's dark out there.

Y/n: What choice do I have? I'll be back with them before it's dark. I'm not leavin' 'em out there with the dead walking to them. I'll be back here with them in no time.

Saya then sighs for what Y/n said.

Saya: Alright. Just... Be careful out there.

Y/n: No promises. (walks to the gate)

Saya walks behind Y/n to see the guards by the gate.

Guard 1: Hey, what do you think you're doing? You can't go out there while it's almost dark.

Y/n: I'm goin' out there to find my friends.

Guard 2: Civilians aren't supposed to go outside the safe zone while it is almost night, that's the rule here.

Y/n: I ain't no civilian, dumbass. I'm just tryin' to find my friends out there before it gets dark.

Guard 1: That's not-

Saya: Let him go.

The guards see Saya walking to Y/n as he looks at Saya.

Guard 1: Oh, lady Saya. I didn't know you were with him.

Saya: Open the gate and let him through.

Guard 1: Yes, ma'am.

The first guard opened the front gate, for Y/n and Saya saw the gate fully open for her to talk to Y/n.

Saya: Good luck out there.

Y/n: Like I said, no promises.

Y/n walks out the gates for him to travel out on the road to find Takashi and Saeko.

2 hours later

The sun was slowly going down, making it slowly dark, but that didn't stop Y/n. A Walker was seen on the street, going to a dead body on the ground, for it to get on its knees and started eating the dead corpse. A can was heard, rolling on the ground for the Walker to turn around a snarl at someone who was behind it. A bolt was shot from a crossbow, hitting the Walker in the eye to pierce through its head and it fell to the ground.

The camera shows Y/n going up to the Walker's body to pull out the bolt from its eye to put it in the quiver. Y/n loaded another bolt in the crossbow and continued his search for Takashi and Saeko.

Y/n was now walking towards a terrain to see the water going across the stream, but no sign of Takashi and Saeko.

Y/n: Takashi! Saeko!

His voice echoed across the air across the river, but no response from Takashi and Saeko.

Y/n: Shit.

Y/n probably regret calling out for Takashi and Saeko, any Walker from a mile must have heard him. He looked around to see another way across the river, but then, a Walker appeared in front of him for Y/n to get grabbed by it. He tried to push away the Walker, but he lost his footing and fell down the hill of the terrain with the Walker.

Y/n is now rolling down hill while the Walker made it to the bottom for its head to be smashed open leaving blood on the ground. Y/n was still rolling down the hill for his crossbow to slide in the bottom for Y/n to hit the bottom as went in the water, to be on the shore for something that stabbed through his side.

Y/n: (grunting) Son of a bitch...

Y/n now has a bloody bruise on the left side of his head and he sees blood in the water. Y/n looks to his left side to see one of his bolts was pierced through his side.

Y/n: Oh shit... Damn it...

Y/n gets up to make it to the shoreline to see his crossbow. Y/n takes out his knife to cut off the sleeves of his shirt and ties them together to wrap it around his stomach to tourniquet the wound to stop the bleeding. Y/n puts away his knife to see the hill he fell down to see that it will be difficult for him to climb it, with his side wounded now.

Y/n gets his crossbow and slings it around his shoulder and starts to climb up the hill slowly, one step at a time, he nearly fails to make it to the top from the state he is in now. Y/n keeps climbing, but every time he does, his wound would stop him.

Y/n: (to himself) Come on, you little prick. Stop being such a pussy.

Y/n kept on trying to climb up the hill, but then his foot slipped, causing him to fall and roll down the hill and hit the ground again, grunting in pain. Y/n was now left on the ground, looking up to the sky that it was orange, for the sun to slowly set down.

Y/n's vision was blurry as he heard the water in the river, to hear his final sound in his life as he closed his eyes. As soon as he opened his eyes a little, he saw someone walking towards him. He had a vest with a tank top under it, blue jeans and brown boots. The person then kneels down to reveal that it was one of Y/n's brothers, Merle Dixon.

Merle: Why don't you pull that bolt out, dummy? You could bind your wound better.

Y/n: Merle...

Merle: (smirks) Hmm. What's goin' on here? You takin' a siesta or somethin'?

Y/n: Shitty day, bro...

Merle: Like me to get you a pillow? Maybe rub your feet?

Y/n: Screw you.

Merle: Unh-unh. You're the one screwed from the looks of it. All them years I spent to make a man of you and Daryl. This what I get? Look at you. Lyin' in the dirt like a used rubber. You gonna die out here, little brother. And for what?

Y/n: A few friends... I lost a few friends of mine...

Merle: That's whatcha out here for? Lookin' for a couple of strangers or people that you knew for 2 days? I told you, you can't trust anyone out here, not even those people who you called "friends". I tell you what, you've been hanging around with these Chinese people for a while now, little brother.

Y/n: They're Japanese...

Merle: Yeah, whatever. You're nothin' but a freak to them. Redneck trash. That's all you are. Yeah, they're laughin' at you 'hind your back. You know that, don't you? I got a little news for you, son. One of these days, they're gonna scrape you off their heels like you was dog shit.

Y/n then slowly closes his eyes, but Merle pats him in his shirt.

Merle: Hey. They ain't your kin. Your blood. Hell, you had any damn nuts in that sack of yours, you'd go back there and deal with them Japanese folk and get it over with. They don't want you here. Now, you listen to me. Ain't nobody ever gonna care about you except me, little brother. Ain't nobody ever will. Come on. Get up on your feet before I have to kick your teeth in. Let's go.

Merle tries to get Y/n up by dragging him by his boot. Y/n then sees Merle trying to get him up, but then his vision returns as he sees a Walker biting his boot for it to try to bite through it. It then sees Y/n for him to kick the Walker in the face for Y/n to try to reach for his crossbow.

The Walker stops him to grab his arm for Y/n to get his knife out and stabs the Walker in the shoulder and punches it in the face. Y/n grabbed the Walker to pin it down on the ground to kill it, but it grabbed Y/n's hair to pin down on the ground for Y/n to push the Walker off of him.

Another Walker was seen in the distance, going towards Y/n. Y/n then sees a stick big enough to use as a weapon. He swings the stick at the Walkers leg for it to fall on the ground for him to get on top of it slams the edge of the stick down on the Walker's skull, breaking it open for Y/n to stab the stick in the Walker's brain to kill it.

Another Walker was seen for Y/n to look at it, as it was approaching him. Y/n quickly pulls out the bolt that was hanging out of his side to hold it with his teeth and gets his crossbow back. Y/n pulls the string back on the crossbow with both of his hands. After Y/n manages to pull the string back, he gets the bolt from his teeth to load it and shoots the bolt at the Walker's head, for it to fall on the ground.

Y/n lies on his back to catch his breath, knowing that he almost died, trying to find his friends.

After a few minutes had passed, Y/n ditched his shirt, now leaving him in his tank top to climb the rest of the hill up, to try and make it back to the Takagi mansion with the stuff he has with him after killing the two Walkers.

Merle: Please don't feed the birds.

Y/n looked up to see Merle at the top of the hill as he laughs.

Merle: What's the matter, tough boy? That all you got in ya? Throw away that purse and climb.

Y/n: I liked it better when you're not here...

Merle: (laughs) Come on, don't be like that. I'm on your side.

Y/n: Yeah? Since when?

Merle: Hell, since the day you and Daryl were born, baby brother. Somebody had to look after your worthless asses.

Y/n: You never took care of me or Daryl. You talk a big game, but you was never there. Hell, you ain't here now. Guess some things never change.

Y/n keeps on climbing the hill to make it to the top.

Merle: Well, I tell you what, I'm real as your other friend before this shit happened.

Y/n: I know what I saw.

Merle: And I'm sure them shrooms you ate had nothin' to do with it, right?

Y/n: You'd best shut the hell up!

Merle: Or what? You gonna come up here and shut my mouth for me? Well, come on and do it then, if you think you're man enough. (laughs)

Y/n climbs the hill more, almost at the top.

Merle: Hey, kick off them damn high-heels, and climb, son. (laughs)

Y/n: (keeps climbing)

Merle: You know what? If I were you, I'd take a pause for the cause, brother. 'Cause I just don't think you gonna make it to the top. Come on. Come on, little brother. (laughs)

Y/n was getting close to the to the top of the hill.

Merle: (kneels down to reach out his hand) Grab your friend's hand.

Y/n then grabs on to the grass and climbs to go over the ledge and falls on the road and gets up. He made it to the top and made it to the road. Y/n looks around to see Merle wasn't around anymore.

Y/n: Yeah, you'd better run.

Y/n then starts to walk back to the Takagi mansion after a long day.

It was now dusk, the sun was almost not seen in the sky for the view of the Takagi mansion to have the lights on, for the guards to keep an out for any Walkers or trespassers that were trying to enter the property.

Saya was seen on the balcony of the mansion to see the view of the sun going down, a bit worried for Y/n who was out there that long.

Saya: He's been gone for hours. He should be back with them right about now.

At the guards post, they saw a figure walking towards the front gate, it was probably a Walker heading there to get shot in the head easily.

Guard 1: Undead! There's an undead coming to the front gate!

The guard grabs his rifle to aim it and tries to kill the Walker from the distance he was in, but it was dark where was standing, making it hard for him to see the Walker. Saya and Khota ran out of the mansion for Khota to have the shotgun with him.

Saya: Is it just one?

Guard 1: Yes, ma'am. There's only one heading towards the front gate. I can't get a clear shot from how dark it is out there.

Khota: Let us deal with it. It can't be the only one.

Khota and Saya went to the front gate and opened it to deal with the Walker. The guard aimed his rifle to try to get a good shot at the Walker to get a clean kill.

Saya and Khota were outside going towards the Walker for Kohta to hold the shotgun he had with him to try to kill the Walker. They stopped to see the Walker for Khota to aim the gun at it. The Walker then went into the street light to reveal that it was Y/n, all bruised up and was tired from all the walking.

Khota: Is that... Y/n?

Y/n: It's the first time you pointed that thing at my head.

Khota and Saya sighed in relief that Y/n didn't turn into a Walker.

Y/n: You gonna pull the trigger or what?

Khota lowered the shotgun, but then Y/n was shot on his left head to drop down on the ground. Saya and Khota gasped in horror, what they saw what happened just now.

Saya: NOOOO!!!!!

The guard then had a smirk on his face, in pride for what he did just now.

Saya: (distance) NOOOO!!!! NOOOO!!!!

The guard's smirk went away for what he heard from Saya just now, that he just shot one of her friends in the head.

Saya and Khota went to Y/n's body to see that the bullet didn't go through his head, it was just a scratch or a graze from the bullet on the left side of his head.

Khota: Oh, thank God. The bullet didn't go through his head.

Saya sighs in relief. They then grabbed Y/n's arms and picked him up off the ground to his arms around their shoulders.

Y/n: I was kidding...

Saya and Khota dragged Y/n that he was now unconscious from the impact on the head he just took. Shizuka ran towards the gate and saw what just happened now to Y/n.

Shizuka: Oh my God! Oh my God, is he dead?!

Khota: He's unconscious, just grazed.

Shizuka: Bring him inside, I'll get the medical supplies!

Shizuka ran back to the mansion for Khota and Saya to carry Y/n's unconscious body to the mansion as well.

A few minutes have passed, it was now nighttime for Khota, Saya and Shizuka were inside a spare bedroom for Shizuka to patch up Y/n's wound from the crossbow bolt that he has, to wrap a bandage around it for him to hold a rag of gauze to hold on to his left hand on his head to stop the bleeding from the bullet he just took as he laying down on the bed, with the tank top off, leaving with his jeans on.

Y/n: I tried to find them near a terrain where I could see if they ever crossed there, but I didn't see 'em. Probably went elsewhere, to get away from the Walkers.

Khota: How did you get that wound on your side?

Y/n: I got jumped by a Walker who made me go down a hill and I hit one of my bolts that pierced through it. I'm exhausted after that search. I nearly died from that.

Shizuka: Well, it's a good thing you made it back here.

Y/n: Yeah, right.

Shizuka then wraps a bandage around Y/n's head to stop the bleeding from both sides.

Shizuka: Okay, that she be able to stop the bleeding. You just need some rest and not move a lot. The antibiotics should help out.

Y/n: That's a good sign, at least. I still don't know if they'd make it here in the morning.

Khota: They'll make it. Just need to be patient.

Y/n: Patience is a virtue, right?

Khota: Yeah.

Shizuka and Khota gave Y/n some space, but Saya didn't leave just yet. She stayed with him for a bit.

Saya: Are you sure you're okay?

Y/n: Yeah. Since when did you care about me or the others? I thought you were all, "I'm smarter than all of you. I'm a genius." I don't see why you give a shit about me?

Saya: Of course I do.

Y/n: Oh yeah? Since when did you become queen of the castle? When did you ever give a shit about anyone?

Saya: (speechless)

Y/n: Ever since I came here and ever since I went to that school before all hell broke loose, all you care about is yourself. You didn't give a shit about anyone, all you do is care about only you. You don't have sympathy for anyone who died out there. You don't know the shit I went through in my past life, you don't know shit about me.

Saya was left speechless from what Y/n said to her.

Saya: But I-

Y/n: Just go away. Stupid bitch.

Saya was now hurt from what Y/n said to her. She then left the room and closed the door behind her, leaving Y/n in the bed, laying down on his right side. Y/n then thought about what Merle said to him.

Merle: Ain't nobody ever gonna care about you except me, little brother.

Y/n then starts to get some rest, after the whole fiasco from today, hoping for another day where he can see Saeko and Takashi again soon.

It was now morning. Khota and Alice were on the back balcony, to watch the back gate.

Alice: Why are we in the back?

Khota: I have a feeling they come through the back if they wanted to sneak in.

Zero then sniff something in the air. He barks at the gate to see something.

Alice: Zero.

Zero keeps barking for Alice to see who was at the gate.

Alice: It's Takashi!

Takashi and Saeko were seen walking to the gate for Takashi to have his arm around Saeko's shoulder for her to hold on to him.

Saya then looks out the window in relief, but she sees that Takashi had his arm around Saeko's shoulder to be jealous a bit. She walks away from the window.

Saya: Open the gate!

Guard: Yes, ma'am.

The view shows the gate opened for Takashi and Saeko to enter the mansion, for Alice and Zero to go to them.

Alice: You're back! You're both back!

Alice jumped onto Saeki and Takashi for them to hug Alice.
