Yesterday night

Y/n was lying down in bed, with the bandages on his head and left side from the injury with his shirt off leaving him in shorts for now. Takashi then enters the room to check on Y/n for him to close the door.

Takashi: Hey, man.

Y/n: Well, look who it is. The knight in shining armor of the Dead.

Takashi: (chuckles) You can say that.

Y/n: I'm glad you and Saeko are okay.

Takashi: Yeah. We managed to escape the Walkers and lay low in a safe place. You should've seen Saeko. She took down a few Walkers with a freaking samurai sword!

Y/n: She did?!

Takashi: Hell yeah, she did!

Y/n: (chuckles) Well, looks like we got ourselves a samurai girl in our team.

Takashi then walks to Y/n and pulls up a chair to sit beside him.

Takashi: So, I heard what happened to you. You actually searched for us and you got injured and got shot in the head?

Y/n: Well, the bastard who shot me was lucky enough he didn't kill me. I just got grazed by the bullet and had a bolt stickin' out of my side. I might've been the luckiest guy to ever survive in a world that's like this right now.

Takashi: I wouldn't call that one luck.

Y/n: Yeah, well how else do you think I almost died out there, while I was searching for you and Saeko?

Takashi: What you did while you were out there, I appreciate you for trying to find us.

Y/n: You're welcome. It was worth it, trying to find you and Saeko out there.

Takashi: Well, if you ever go missing, I'll do the same.

Y/n: Yeah. Thanks. I'm gonna try to get some sleep, I had a rough day yesterday.

Takashi: Say no more. See you around.

Takashi gets up from the chair and exits the room to let Y/n get some rest. But then, Shizuka entered the room with a tray of food and water for Y/n. He then noticed Shizuka for him to cover his back with the blanket.

Shizuka: How are you feeling?

Y/n: I feel a little better, thanks for asking.

Shizuka: I brought you some dinner, you must be starving.

Y/n looks to see Shizuka placing down the plate near the nightstand where Y/n was next. Shizuka then goes to Y/n and leans down and kisses Y/n on his head.

Y/n: What was that for?

Shizuka: (smiles) That's for coming back here safe and sound. I'm also trying to look out for you, even when you are hurt.

Y/n: Well, thanks, Ms Shizuka.

Shizuka: Anytime.

Shizuka then leaves the room to close the door behind her, leaving Y/n.

The next day

Y/n was in the shower, letting the water run down his head and body to think about what had happened for a few days and relax. Later, he turns off the shower off, gets himself dried up and puts on some new clothes. He now wears a sleeveless silver button shirt with it half open, tan jeans, brown boots and his trusty knife in his scabbard.

Y/n exits the room to see Shizuka walking out of a room where he hears Takashi and Rei, arguing.

Takashi: I only held you down so she can rub your back!

Rei: That's not what I meant!

Takashi: Then what was it?!

Rei: Can't you guess?

Takashi: Guess? Guess what? Guess not.

Rei: All I need is just a little bit of medicine on me, you don't need to call in the school nurse...

Takashi: Huh?

Rei: Get out of here.

Takashi: What is it all of a sudden?

Rei: My boobs are killing me, because you used them to balance an AK-47! Now get out!

Y/n sees Takashi running out of the room for the door to slam behind him as he goes down the stairs as Y/n follows him.

Takashi: Whatever, she loved it.

Y/n: Girl trouble?

Takashi looks behind him as he walks down the stairs and stands next to Takashi.

Takashi: Yeah, a little. How are you feeling, by the way?

Y/n: I'm doin' okay. I got the bandage off my head. Shizuka said I still gotta keep the bandage on my side, for a few more hours. I changed the bandage after I got out of the shower.

Takashi: That's good to hear. Hope you don't get shot in the head when they mistake you as a Walker again.

Y/n: They won't. That guy who shot me, if he ever shoots me again, he best pray I'm dead.

Takashi: (chuckles) I'm sure he will.

Y/n: I'm gonna go check on Hirano. See if I could use a new gun or something.

Takashi: Last I heard, he was in the garage. You can find him there.

Y/n: Thanks.

Y/n then goes down the stairs to go to the garage. As Y/n enters, he sees Khota messing with one of the shotgun parts at the work bench.

Y/n: Havin' fun there?

Khota got startled by Y/n as he turned around as he entered the garage.

Khota: Oh, Y/n. Good to see that you're on your feet. How are you holding up?

Y/n: I'm doin' good so far. I had replace the bandages on my side, to keep it intact.

Khota: Just be careful not to move so much, it'll open your wound.

Y/n: I'll try not to. (goes to workbench) You workin' on that shotgun of yours or are you just messin' around with it.

Khota: I was just inspecting the parts on it. This part of the gun, is the carrier spring ejector.

Y/n: Nice part. I didn't know that it was called that.

Khota: I'm a sucker for guns, a lot of them. So, what are you doing here?

Y/n: I'm just lookin' around, trying to find me a new gun I can use. Something like a side-arm, better than a revolver.

Khota: Oh, I got the perfect one for you!

Khota then goes to the Humvee and goes inside it to open a bag that was military like and brings out a pistol that Y/n can use to exit the Humvee to hand it over to Y/n.

Khota: Check it out. This one can be a good use for you.

Y/n sees a pistol that was a good type for him to take from Khota.

Y/n: What kinda gun is this?

Khota: That, my friend, is a SIG SAUER P220. From the military of Japan. It's got 45 ACP rounds that holds a ten magazine capacity. Way better than that revolver of yours!

Y/n inspects the new pistol Khota gave him to eject the magazine to see the bullet types to insert the mag back inside the gun for him to aim it away from Khota.

Y/n: Not bad. I'll take it.

Khota: May it serve you well, then. Oh, and I hope you didn't mind, I did a few modifications on your crossbow. I added a 4x scope to it, so that way you could fire your bolts at the Walkers easily, now. I also added a foregrip, to increase your stability when you aim.

Y/n goes to the workbench to see his crossbow with a scope on it now to pick it up and aim in through the scope to see the sight and feels the grip on the crossbow and puts down the crossbow.

Y/n: Nice work on this, Hirano. You can be an expert at this.

Khota: Well, I am an expert on guns and parts. (chuckles)

Saya: You both look like you're having fun.

Khota: What?

Khota turns around to see Saya for Y/n to notice her, too, leaning back against the Humvee.

Saya: Just wanna let you both know, you should enjoy it while you can. None of us are gonna be here forever.

Khota: Why not, Takagi? This house is almost like a fortress.

Saya: Haven't you thought about how hard it is to secure things like electricity and water? Things have changed lately, you know.

Khota: Oh, um, well...

Saya: Even under normal circumstances, which we're not. We'd have to find basic necessities. You'd think we could all just build a water treatment plant, or a power station? Maybe the Walkers would help us do it.

Y/n: I highly doubt that they'll be able to help us if they want to just eat us alive. We're safe for now, at least. Be glad you're safe too, Saya.

A few minutes have passed, Y/n and Kohta were checking on the guns for Khota to put the parts of the shotgun back together to pump back the forearm and aims the gun for Y/n to cock his P220 and aims it as well.

Matsudo: Hey, hey.

Y/n and Khota turn around to see Matsudo near the Humvee.

Matsudo: Hold on, those are real guns are they? Kids like you shouldn't be playing with those.

Khota: Uh, we're-

Y/n: You again? Didn't I tell you not to lecture me or my friend here the last time I spoke to you, old man? We know how to take care of ourselves. Why don't you take that stupid outfit of yours and go back to Rick Harrison's Pawn Shop.

Matsudo: (puts up hand in surrender) Whoa, easy. I'm sorry. I don't want any trouble.

Y/n: That's what I thought.

Saya: Mister Mado, is that all you've got to say.

Matsudo: Oh, Lady Saya. Um, I was just going to let you know, we've finished the tune up on the car. The Humvee you came here in?

Saya: Thank you. That'll be all.

Matsudo goes on with his day and left the trio in the garage.

Khota: You came from a prestigious family, wow!

Saya: As a matter of fact, I do. Like that matters now. And why would you let him talk to you like that?

Khota: Well, because he's an adult.

Saya: You think that means anything? We've been through just as much as they have, more. I'm sick of how they're treating us. We better talk to Komouro and the others about this lack of equity.

Later, the group gathered inside the room where Rei is lying down on the bed, resting on her chest, half-naked.

Rei: I don't see a reason why everyone has to gather 'round here?

Takashi: You can barely move, what else can we do.

Shizuka: (peels a banana) I'm sorry, but what are we talking about again?

Saya: Whether we continue moving forward as a group or not?

Shizuka abruptly stops eating her banana upon hearing that. The rest of the group were surprised though, as they questioned inside.

Rei: As a group?

Saeko: It's a good point. The group's bigger, now. We might have to think democratically since there are more of us than before. It's only fair.

Y/n was leaning up next to the door with his cross upon hearing what Saeko is saying, especially Saya and everyone else.

Saya: Right. We have only two options. Whether we're going to be absorbed or...

Takashi: Separate from them. But, wait, do you really think we can split from the group? Things are only getting worse in the city, and your father seems to know what he's doing, and your mother, too. (goes to the window next to Saya) They have a plan.

Saya: Oh, don't they always. No one knows more than I do...

Takashi looks to Saya to see her slowly tearing up.

Saya: Her achievements, don't think she can shove them right in your face. Maybe if she would have been as dedicated at home as she was...

Takashi: Takagi...

Saya: God, she's such a bitch...

Takashi: You shouldn't talk bad about your parents. Consider the situation we're in, it's been really tough for everyone.

Saya: Did I ask you to way it on my family life?!

Takashi: (shocked)

Saya: Takagi's. The Takagi's. How fabulous their life must be! Everything had to be just perfect... The house and the lawn and the parties and most of all their daughter! It was positively suffocating! They wanted to know where I was and what I was doing every minute of the day, the leash they kept me on!

Takashi: That's enough...

Saya: NO! It was never enough! But where was that leash yesterday?! When I was out there lost in the streets fighting for my life?! WHERE THE HELL WERE THEY?!

Takashi: Stop it, Saya!

Takashi grabbed Saya by her collar and lifts her up, causing her glasses to fall off, shocking the group, except Y/n.

Saeko: Komouro!

Saya: (shocked) You... You don't know... You have no idea... What I feel... You don't know anything about me...

Takashi: It's not just you, we all feel the same way! (shakes Saya) We all feel the same way! Don't you know how lucky you are?! At least your parents are safe! So quit whining!

All who watched lowered their heads and closed their eyes, even Y/n as well, from what Takashi did, but he couldn't believe what he heard from Saya earlier.

Saya: Okay... You're right. You can put me down now.

Takashi then calms down and gently puts down Saya to let her go for her to put her glasses back on.

Takashi: I'm sorry.

Saya: Yeah, you'd better be. I forgive you. Now back to the subject. Do you think we should-

Y/n: So that's how this is gonna play out?

Everyone looked at Y/n who was still leaning on the wall next to the door, how mad he was after listening to what Saya said earlier.

Y/n: (looks to Saya) This is how we're gonna go? Split up from the group? Go our separate ways? The hell kinda group meeting is this? I thought I knew you better than that! I was going to say sorry the way I treated you the other night when you checked on me, but no, you just want to break this group up!

Saya: It's better this way.

Y/n: (stops leaning on the wall) Better this way?! (walks to Saya) So you're tellin' me that we should all go our separate ways and not see each other again, is that what you're sayin'?!

Takashi: Y/n, that's enough! What's wrong with you?!

Y/n: (to Takashi) You know what's wrong with me! How long have you me and Rei became friends, huh?! You actually agree with Saya that we should all split up and go somewhere else?! To hell with that! I thought I knew you better, Takashi!

Saya: Y/n, that's enough! We will decide if we could stay in the group or go our separate ways, that's it! So calm down and stop!

Y/n looks at Saya in a mad way that he walks backwards for a bit. He then pushes a few objects on the medical stand and grunts a bit from the wound he still has, while he still has the bandages on. Shizuka went to go check on Y/n,

Shizuka: Are you alright?

Y/n: Just leave me be! (walks to the door) Stupid dumb asses!

Y/n opens the door and slams it behind him, leaving the group in shock. Rei saw everything that Y/n did. He was full of disappointment and was mad. Rei was now worried about Y/n, after everything they had gone through, she was right there beside him.

Y/n is in the garage gathering his gun and crossbow to sling it around his shoulder and puts his pistol in his holster. He leaves the garage to go outside to see people that are gathered around the fountain. He then joins the crowd where he sees a man. In the middle and the fountain behind him, he realized that it was Saya's father, leader of the Tokonosu and the current head of the Takagi family.

A forklift was carrying a cage of a Walker as i drove to the fountain. Y/n and all of the survivors watched as they were seeing what he was doing with the Walker.

Souichiro: This man's name is Tetsutaro Doi! He's the former retainer of the family who had served the Takagi family. He is also my best friend.

The forklift stops near the fountain.

Souichiro: Today, during the rescue operation and effort to save his associates, he was bitten. This is the ultimate case of self-sacrifice. What he did was something noble, something any human being could do. However, he is no longer a human. He's become something extremely dangerous!

The Walker of Doi snarled and began banging on the cage. The survivors gasped and backed away. Souichiro walks closer to the forklift, places his hand on the handle of his katana, takes it out ready to strike down the Walker that was his friend.

Souichiro: That's why.... (raises katana) As a man of the Takagi family... I shall fulfill my obligation to the retainer!

His men unlocks the cage and the Walker Doi jogs towards Souichiro, who then swipes his weapon down, decapitating him with one strike. At that moment, a milk bottle was dropped on the ground and it shattered into pieces, creating a small noise that catches the survivors' attention and Y/n that he was in the crowd.

Woman: So sorry. My baby is just...

The woman held her baby close as she knelt down to pick up the pieces of the baby bottle. As she was doing so, she turns head to the side and gasped, horrified to see the Walker Doi's head in the water of the fountain, as the water was turning red.

Souichiro: This is the present we're facing! And so, even if they're your wonderful friends, beloved family members and people you once loved, you must defeat them without hesitation! If you want to survive, you must fight!

The Walker Doi's eyes opened and its mouth was moving, opening and closing. One of the survivors noticed and was horrified by it.

Man: It's still moving!

The other survivors looked as well as they all were horrified as well to see the head of the Walker Doi while the mouth was still moving. Souichiro turned around to see the head as well. Y/n looks at the scene for him to grab his crossbow to pull back the string and loads a bolt on it.

Y/n: Comin' through.

Y/n moves through the crowd to go to the fountain to finish off the Walker of Doi. Souichiro notices Y/n going to the fountain with his crossbow.

Souichiro: You there, you're not supposed to be here!

Y/n: Come on, man, what the hell?

Y/n aims his crossbow and shoots the bolt in the Walker of Doi in its eye to hit the brain of it, for the survivors to gasp in shock. Y/n gets the bolt and pulls it out of the Walker's eye.

Y/n: It's gotta be the brain. (turns around and looks at Souichiro) Don't y'all know nothin'?

Y/n walks away from the scene while Souichiro was surprised that he saw him kill the Walker with ease.

Y/n was seen in the backyard sharpening his knife while sitting on a few steps to pass the time. Saya was seen in the backyard for her to notice Y/n as she went to him.

Saya: Hey.

Y/n: What do you want?

Saya: Hirano is missing. He took off without saying anything. He was mad and just ran off. We can't find him.

Y/n: Yeah, so what?

Saya: So I need your help finding him... Y/n...

Y/n: (looks at Saya) Your bitch took off without sayin' anythin' right? You want him, fetch him yourself. (sharpens knife) I got better things to do.

Saya: What's the matter with you? Why are you being so selfish, all of a sudden?

Y/n: (stops sharpening knife) Selfish?! (stands up) Listen to me, olive oil! I was out there lookin' for Saeko and Takashi for a day! I took a bullet and bolt in the process! (points knife at Saya) DON'T YOU TELL ME ABOUT ME GETTIN' MY HANDS DIRTY!

Saya: (shocked)

Y/n: You wanna find that fat idiot of yours, have a nice ride! I'm done with all of y'all!

Y/n sits back down and keeps sharpening his knife, leaving Saya speechless. She then walks away to leave Y/n alone to see if she can find Hirano by herself now.

Y/n was now walking to the gate to leave the Takagi estate and leave his friends behind. He then stops for a moment and thinks. Should he leave or should he stay? After everything he has been through and with his friends, he can't just walk away from them and leave them. Y/n sighs to walk back to the background to try and find Khota for Saya's sake.

He then heard shouting from ahead. Y/n jogs to the sound men arguing and he sees Khota on the ground, holding the guns that he has on him with Souichiro's men circle around him. Y/n loaded his crossbow and went to the men that were bothering Khota.

Y/n: Why don't y'all back away from him.

They all looked at Y/n and Kohta turns around to see him as well, aiming the crossbow at one of the men.

Khota: Y/n?

Man 1: Hey, hey. Put that thing away. Don't be pointing that weapon at any of us, kid.

Y/n: I will, once y'all leave my friend alone.

Man 2: Get that thing away him!

Y/n: Why don't you make me! Ain't no reason for y'all to bother my friend! Why don't you go back to your posts and hold each other's dicks in your hands!

The men were getting irritated by Y/n's words and they were about to go and stop him.

Souichiro: What the hell is all this?!

Y/n then sees Souiricho arriving at the scene with his wife and the men near Y/n and Khota backed away.

Man 1: M-Master... This kid is defending his friend. He's threatening us with his weapon!

Souichiro stopped in front of Khota and Y/n while he was still aiming his crossbow.

Souichiro: (to Y/n) I saw how you dealt with that monstrosity back there, but there is no reason for you to aim your weapon at one of my men.

Y/n: They were bothering my friend, sir. I'm teaching them a lesson to see what happens if they ever hurt my friend.

Souichiro: And you think violence solves everything?

Y/n: Kinda.

Souichiro: Sometimes, things have to end without violence, young man. There is no need for this, lower your weapon.

Y/n then looks at Souichiro for a second and slings his crossbow back on his shoulder.

Souichiro: I am Souichiro Takagi, what is yours, young man?

Y/n: Y/n Dixon. I'm just trying to help out my friend, sir.

Souichiro: (to Khota) I am Souichiro Takagi. Former lord of Tokonosu, the master of tendo sogon-ryu. What is your name, young man?

Khota: K-K-Khota Hirano! I go to Fujima Academy. I'm in class 2-B. Roster number 32!

Souichiro: Something tells me that you have spirit. I'm quite sure you went through a lot before you made it all the way here. I take it you don't intend to hand over your weapon?

Khota: (shakes head) No, sir! I don't want to! Without the gun, I'm going right back... to the way I was before! They'll make fun of me again! I don't want to go back there! I finally figured out what I could do!

Souichiro: What exactly can you do? Tell me!

Khota: (looks at him teary-eyed) I... I-I can... I can...

Takashi: He can protect your daughter, sir!

Y/n turns around to see Takashi intervening, going to Khota's side.

Khota: Komouro...

Souichiro: Komouro. Interesting. Yes, that name sounds familiar to me. You were friends with my daughter since she was little, were you not?

Takashi: Yes, sir. Still am, but Hirano has been the one who has been protecting her. We've all been working together, sir. He keeps the guns.

Alice: Khota!

Y/n then sees Alice and Zero going to Khota to hug him and glare at the men around them.

Saeko: (walks in the scene) I'll have you know, I've seen his bravery, with my own eyes.

Y/n sees Shizuka with Rei beside her arriving at the scene as well, and Saya joins in last.

Saya: Me too, Daddy!

Saya walks to the group as she stands in front of Khota.

Saya: He's just a loser military otaku, but without him, I would have been one of those Walkers by now, Daddy. That's right! He's the one protecting me! He did your job!

Khota: Takagi... Thank you...

Saya looks at Y/n to see if he is going to join them. Y/n then goes to Khota's side and looks at Souichiro, standing next to his friends. No matter how bad the situation is or before, he would be helped by his friends.

Y/n was taking a walk around the Takagi mansion to clear his mind. He looked up to the sky and saw that it was going to rain. Y/n then looks back where he was to continue walking, but then he sees someone ahead, spying on the estate talking to someone on the phone. He sneaks up behind the person who is talking to someone on the phone in a creepy voice.

Kurokami: Yes. Yes. That's correct. Right. Getting ready to get away from here. If you ask for help now, I'm sure they'll let you in, they seem nice. Mister Shido...

Y/n heard that name before. How did Shido find the Takagi estate? Y/n then grabs a branch to use it as a weapon to go up to the person. He then steps on a twig for them to turn around for Y/n to swing the branch on the person's head to knock him out unconscious. His head was bleeding from the strike Y/n did for him to drop the branch.

Y/n: How in the hell did you find us here? I'm gonna have a lot of questions for you when you wake up.

Y/n then drags the person's unconscious body to the Takagi mansion to get some answers about how he found him and the group.

Y/n: You'd just come after her.

Y/n fires the gun for the screen to go black.
