Highschool of The Walking Dead

Opening:

The birds were chirping at the scenery of Fujimi Academy, where Cherry Blossom leaves were blowing by the wind, near one of the buildings.

The scene changed for someone to be thrown down on the ground for a crowd to watch as there was a fight about to start, in the courtyard. Y/n Dixon was shown on the ground, with the school uniform sleeves cut off leaving him with a white shirt on it. Y/n got up from the ground and faced towards the person who knocked him down.

Bully: Oops. I didn't see you there, pal.

Y/n: You did that on purpose.

Bully: I just didn't see where you were going, that's all.

Y/n: I know you didn't see where I was going. You just pushed me for no reason, why's that? Is it because I'm an outcast? Like I don't belong here?

Bully: Maybe.

Y/n: Yeah, I see how it is. (turns around to walk away)

Bully: A person like you should go back to where you came from, in that dumpster of a country you came from.

Y/n stopped walking, when he heard what the bully said. He turns around to walk to the bully and stops in front of him.

Y/n: What the hell did you say?

Bully: I said. A person like you should go back to where you came from, in that dumpster of a country you came from.

Y/n then steps back a bit from the bully. He looks away from him, but then he sends a punch to the bully's face, to be knocked back as the bully holds his face, for the crowd to gasp in shock.

Y/n: You wanna say that again?

The bully went towards Y/n for him to punch him in the face for Y/n to punch the bully in the face again, for the bully to be knocked back again. The bully sent his first again for Y/n dodge and punched the bully in his nose for Y/n to tackle him down on the ground for Y/n to punch the bully a few times in the face.

Y/n: How does it feel, huh?! How does it feel?!

Y/n punched the bully again as the crowd just watched as he kept on punching the bully. Then, a P.E. male teacher Tejima ran through the crowd of students to see Y/n non-stop punching the bully in the face, where he was bleeding.

Tejima: Hey, hey, hey! Stop! Stop!

Y/n sent his last punch at the bully for Tejima to pull him back as the other teachers helped the person Y/n was punching.

Tejima: That's enough out of you! Stop!

Y/n: Get your damn hands off of me! (struggling to get free)

Tejima puts Y/n in a choke hold for him to put him down on the ground.

Y/n: You'd best let me go!

Tejima: Not until you calm down!

Y/n: (struggling) Ah! Choke hold is illegal!

Tejima: Hey, you can file a complaint.

Y/n keeps on struggling to get free from the teacher's choke hold, but Y/n gave up.

Tejima: Are you done?!

Y/n: Yeah... I'm done. Let me go!

Tejima lets Y/n go and he stands up for him to gasp and coughs.

Y/n: Was that really necessary?!

Tejima: Yes, it was. You nearly beat that student to death, what's wrong with you?!

Y/n: He brought that on himself! I couldn't handle it! I'm tired of being treated like shit around here!

Tejima: Well, that doesn't give you the right to start beating him up! Now go, be on your way!

Y/n looks around and sees all of the students that just witnessed what Y/n did.

Y/n: (swings arm at the students) Hell with all y'all!

Y/n walks away from the scene to go to the building. He wipes the blood of his nose and forgets what happened just now. As Y/n walked up the staircase in the school, he saw his friend, Takashi, leaning up on the railing.

Y/n: Everything good with you?

Takashi turned around to see Y/n walk up next to him on the railing.

Takashi: Hey, Y/n.

Y/n: Rei still not talking to you?

Takashi: Nope.

Takashi looks at Y/n to see blood from his nose, as he is holding it.

Takashi: Damn, what happened to you?

Y/n: Some asshole picked on me and I fought back.

Takashi: Why'd you even do that?

Y/n: Because he was treating me like shit, that's why! I couldn't handle it!

Takashi: Okay, geez. No need to get all loud.

Y/n: (sighs) Sorry.

Takashi: No, it's okay. I know you didn't mean it. You should go see Miss Shizuka for that.

Y/n: Nah, I'll be fine. Been through worse.

Takashi: Suit yourself, then.

Y/n leans on the railing with Takashi for them to see the view of the school.

Takashi: Takagi was here before you.

Y/n: What did she do to you this time?

Takashi: She just said words that I don't understand. She's smart here, and she doesn't like stupid people.

Y/n: She's a bitch sometimes.

Takashi: You and me both.

Y/n: After that fight I had, one of the P.E. teachers got me in a choke hold.

Takashi: What did you say to him?

Y/n: I said choke hold is illegal to him, and he didn't care.

Takashi: That's what you said to him?

Y/n: Yeah. But I got over it. I just want this day to be over, already.

Takashi: Yeah, me too.

Y/n and Takashi looked at the view of the staircase to enjoy the scenery of the Academy. Then, they heard something. Y/n and Takashi saw someone by the front gate, putting their arms through the bars of the gate for Y/n and Takashi to see the person.

Takashi: Who's that? Trespasser?

Y/n: He's probably lost or something.

A group of teachers went to the gate to confront the man. The man was growling and has eyes that were translucent blue and has a huge gaping wound on his lower left back.

Hayashi: You there, what do you think you're doing? This is a private school.

Tejima: It's okay, Miss Hayashi. Let me handle it.

Tejima rolled up his sleeves to deal with the trespasser. Tejima grabbed the trespasser by his jacket collar and pulls him in, smacking his face on the gate.

Hayashi: Hey now! Mister Tejima! Excessive violence is...

Before Hayashi completed her statement, Tejima got his arm grabbed by the trespasser and he bit deep into Tejima's arm, for blood to be splat out of Tejima's arm for him to fall on the ground, writhing in pain. Y/n and Takashi can hear Tejima screaming and they both stand in shock.

Y/n: What the hell just happened...?

Takashi: I... I don't know...

The teacher groans and convulses for a second and then his body goes quiet and limp. The other teachers stand over him.

Teacher: Oh my gosh... he's dead.

Hayashi: No way... that's impossible. He was just.

Then, the downed teacher's hand twitched.

Hayashi: Mister Tejima?

Tejima opened his eyes to have the same eye color as the trespasser.

Hayashi: Oh, Mister Tejima, thank god. You had me worried there for a-

Suddenly, Tejima growled and grabbed Hayashi and bit her on the neck for Hayashi to scream as blood was coming out of her neck. The other two teachers ran for their lives. Y/n and Takashi watched in horror as the teacher was being eaten alive.

Y/n: Takashi... We need to warn the others!

Takashi: Y-Yeah. Let's go!

Y/n and Takashi ran up the stairs and into the hallway of the school as they were running to get to their classrooms.

Y/n: What the fuck just happened? What the fuck just happened?! Did you see that?!

Takashi: Yeah, I saw it!

Y/n: Goddamn...

Y/n and Takashi made it to the classroom where they were supposed to be.

Teacher: Komuro, Dixon, you both couldn't be happy with just skipping my class.

Y/n: (to teacher) This ain't the best time!

Takashi: (goes to Rei) Come with me, we're gonna get outta here!

Rei: Wh-What are you talking about?

Hisashi: Guys, what are you doing?

Takashi: (turns around to Hisashi) People just got killed at the front gate. No bullshit.

Hisashi: Are you serious?

Takashi: Yeah, I'm making shit like that up.

Rei: (swipes hand away) Jesus! What is going on?! I can't never understand what's-

Y/n steps forward and slaps Rei in the face. Rei held her face to look at Y/n.

Rei: What the-

Y/n: Shut up for one goddamn minute and listen to what Takashi has to say! (looks at Hisashi) Both of you!

The four students left the classroom for them to be in the hallway.

Rei: Just tell me what's going on?

Takashi: There was someone at the school gate. P.E. teachers went to check it out and something happened. And now those P.E. teachers are killing each other!

Rei: That's insane...

Y/n: I saw it too...

Rei: (looks to Y/n)

Y/n: I saw one of the teachers get bitten by that trespasser, he died and he came back as the same person that was outside the gate...

Hisashi opens up a locker for him to find a baseball bat and gives it to Takashi.

Takashi: What? You forgot something?

Hisashi: If what you told me, we'll need some weapons, right? Here, Rei.

Hisashi breaks a broom stick to be like a spear and gives it to Rei.

Takashi: What about you, Y/n?

Y/n: I got one right here.

Y/n pulls something out of his pocket for him to have a pocket knife.

Takashi: You had a pocket knife this whole time?

Y/n: Yeah, I did.

Takashi: How did you not get it taken away from you?

Y/n: Doesn't matter right now.

Takashi: Right.

Y/n: Hisashi, what about you?

Hisashi: I've got a black belt in karate. Come on, we've gotta get out of the school.

Rei: Let's call the police, we'll talk to my father.

Takashi: (hands phone to Rei) School rules are there to be broken, right?

Rei takes Takashi's phone and dials the number to the police to talk to her father. The phone started to ring for them to wait and see if Rei's father was available.

Rei: (gasps) No way...

Hisashi: What is it?

Phone Operator: You may stay on the line or call back again later. Currently: 110 is experiencing an extremely high call volume. (on repeat)

Rei: 110 is busy... That's impossible...

Suddenly, the school intercom turned on for the principal of the school speaking on a PA system.

Principal: (PA) This announcement is for all the students. An emergency situation is taking place inside the school right now. All students must follow your teacher's instructions and evacuate.

Takashi: So they finally realized it...

Principal: (PA) I repeat: A violent incident is taking place inside the school right now...

The intercom turned off for a second for it to be silent for a moment.

Takashi: It's happening...

It was quiet for a moment, but then, the principal was speaking again, in horror.

Principal: (PA) Get away from me! Get back! Ah! AHHH!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!! AHHHHHHH!!!

Everything was silent again for the moment. Y/n was breathing in fear for a bit from what him and the others heard from what just happened to the principal. After a few seconds of silence, they all heard the sound of panicked students running out of their classrooms trying to exit the school.

Hisashi: This way!

Takashi: Where are you going?! We gotta get outta here!

Hisashi: The building with classrooms are too crowded. We need to go through the management building.

Rei: Hisashi is right. Shut up and do what he says.

Takashi: Alright, fine.

Y/n: Lead the way, black belt.

The group followed Hisashi and went through the management building. On the veranda, a teacher was infected and started walking in a different way for the group to see him.

Rei: That's Mister Wakisaka, what's the matter with him?

Y/n sees the teacher that was walking and sees him with the same translucent blue eye color and there was blood on his leg. The undead teacher spotted the squad and growled loudly at them for him to walk quickly at Rei to grab her.

Rei stepped back and swung her broom spear at the undead teacher.

Rei: Get away from me!

Hisashi: Rei, stab him! Don't hold back, give it all you got!

Y/n: Go for it, you can do it!

The undead teacher went up to Rei for her to put her broom stick on the undead teacher's throat to hold him back. The teacher growls at Rei to try to get her, but Rei pushes the teacher back.

Rei: Don't fuck with me! I'm MVP at the martial arts club!

Rei swings her spear at the teacher a few times and stabs him in the heart.

Takashi: Yes!

Y/n: Hell yeah!

The undead teacher then moved again to growl at Rei and moved the broom to send Rei to hit the wall and fell to the ground. Rei grabbed the spear again and tried to get it out of the dead teacher.

Rei: That's insane! I stabbed in his heart, why is he still moving?!

Hisashi ran up to the undead teacher and grabbed him in a head lock to pull him away from Rei.

Hisashi: Rei, pull it out now!

Rei yanks out the spear.

Takashi: Hasashi, get away from him!

Hisashi: Don't worry, I can take him.

The undead teacher started to get loose and turn his head to Hisashi for him to hold it back.

Hisashi: What the fuck?

The undead teacher bit into Hisashi's arm as he screams in pain.

Takashi: (runs up to the undead teacher) Hey you, get the hell away from him! (swings bat at the teacher)

Rei: Hisashi! (stabs the unteacher in the back) Jesus Christ! Why won't he just die already?!

Takashi: Oh, no... I knew it... He is dead... He's dead, but still moving!

Rei: What?!

The undead teacher bites Hisashi deeper into his skin and pulls out the flesh with its teeth from Hisahi's skin as he screams in agony.

Rei: Hisashi!

Rei dropped her broom spear and ran up to Hisashi to try to get him away from the undead teacher.

Rei: (looks to Y/n and Takashi) Y/n, Takashi, help him! Don't just stand there! Do something! Do something, will ya?!

Y/n unfolds his pocket knife and charges at the undead teacher to stab the undead teacher on the back of his head. The undead teacher stopped moving to let go of Hisashi.

Y/n grabbed the teacher's body and slammed the body on the ground to get the knife out of his head and kept on stabbing on the back of the head again and again for blood to splatter on the ground as Y/n kept on stabbing the dead body.

Takashi: Y/n, stop! He's down!

Y/n got his knife out and saw he has blood on the blade and his hand. He wiped off the blood from the knife and his hand and got up to see Rei checking on Hisashi.

Rei: Hisashi, are you okay?

Hisashi: Son of a bitch just bit me, no big deal.

They all heard glass breaking for them to see a girl screaming and getting eaten alive by another person who is undead.

Takashi: We can handle one of 'em, but there's no way...

Hisashi: The roof.

Rei: The roof?

Hisashi: We should barricade ourselves until help arrives, and we can see what's going down.

Y/n: Yeah, good idea.

The squad made it to the roof and they got a clear view of what was going on. The city was in chaos and it was very bad.

Takashi: Holy shit, it's happening everywhere.

Rei: But everything was normal... Everything was fine a minute ago!

Then, an updraft comes blowing down on the squad. They all looked up to the sky and saw helicopters flying over, heading towards to a different city.

Y/n: Helicopters?

Takashi: Black Hawk? American military?

Hisashi: That's not it. That's Self-Defense Force! Where did they come from? There's no base around here.

Rei: (waves arms) Over here!

Hisashi: Don't bother. I wouldn't even waste your strength. That's the Self-Defense Force. They must have some kind of special mission. They're not here to rescue us. They're not even doing anything about that. That's what's going on outside where you can still run away from it. Imagine what's going on inside the school.

Y/n: So they just ditch us instead? Because they have some kind of special mission they have?! Thought they were supposed to be saving our asses!

Hisashi: Well, they're not. This is like a disease caused by Them.

Takashi: Them?

Hisashi: The dead are attacking people left and right, but this isn't a movie or a video game. That's why it's Them. They bite people, and they come back to life as one of Them. And it looks like smashing and stabbing their heads is the only way to get rid of Them.

Y/n: They walk slow, that's for sure, and they walk all the time. Walkers, how about that?

Hisashi: Yeah, that sounds about right. Walkers are not a bad name to call them.

Y/n turns around to see Walkers surrounding the roof for the others to see as well.

Rei: There too many of them.

Hisashi spotted more stairs to see the top.

Hisashi: Let's get up there and block the stairs.

Y/n: Got it.

Takashi: Let's go.

The group started to run past the Walkers and for Takashi to smash one on the head for it to hit the ground. Y/n stabbed a Walker in the head with his pocket knife. He then was grabbed by a female Walker in front of him for him to push it back with his hand, struggling to get free.

Takashi: Y/n!

The Walker got close to Y/n's neck, almost about to bite him, but then Y/n stabbed the Walker with his knife in its eye to penetrate through it to hit the brain. Y/n took the knife out of the Walker's eye for it to drop down on the ground.

Y/n: I'm good! Keep going!

Y/n caught up with the others for them to reach the stairs.

Takashi: Hurry!

Takashi smacked a Walker out of the way for another to almost grab him for it to fall on the ground for Y/n to stomp on its head to kill it. Y/n and the rest made it to the stairs, but Rei held one of the Walkers back for her to stab them in the heart.

Takashi: Are you nuts?!

Rei: (looks back) Say what?!

The Walker grabs the broom handle and yanks it from Rei. She tries to get it back, but it smacks her against the wall and she falls down. The broom fell down for the Walker to almost about to get to Rei.

Rei: Get away!!

Y/n: Rei!

Y/n ran down the stairs and grabbed the Walker and slams it on the railing and starts bashing its head multiple times for him to do it one more time for Y/n break open the Walker's head for blood to spew out of its head and Y/n throws the body down the stairs.

Rei, Takashi and Hisashi were shocked for what Y/n did to the Walker.

Rei: Y/n...

Takashi: Damn, that was brutal!

Hisahi: And bloody.

Y/n: (helps Rei up) Don't stab them in the chest or the stomach, you gotta hit their heads, it's the only way to kill them.

Rei: (nods) Right.

Y/n saw another Walker going up the stairs for him to kick it off the stairs for its head to be hit by metal.

Takashi: Y/n, Rei, Hisashi! Hurry, this way!

Y/n: Come on!

Hisashi: Okay.

Rei helped Hisashi up the stairs for Y/n to go up as well for Takashi to go up last. The group barricaded the stairs with tables and chairs that were tied up at the stairs to keep the Walkers out. As the sun was slowly setting, the Walkers were out on the barricade for it to be strong enough to keep them out.

Rei: Why... Why is this happening?

Hisashi: There has to be a reason. Maybe we can figure out what's causing it, we can stop it... Or at least, protect ourselves. We need to look around. Find matches or a lighter around here somewhere. If we don't make a fire now, we're gonna be fucked when it gets dark.

Hisahi started to cough out blood for it to be splat on the ground for Hisashi to keep coughing.

Rei: (runs to Hisashi and kneels down) Hisahi, what's wrong with you? Takashi, Y/n Hisashi is...

Y/n goes to Hisashi and kneels down to put his hand over Hisashi's forehead.

Y/n: He's burning up.

Rei: What? He's sick?

Y/n: It must have been the bite wound... It's slowly killing him...

Rei: No... It can't be...

Hisashi raises his head for him to breathe heavily and he was sweating and being a little pale from the bite wound.

Rei: Why? Why? He got bit just a little, so why does it look so horrible...?

Hisashi: (weak) So it is just like the movies... They bite you and that's it...

Rei: (emotional) This can't be true! What you've seen in the movies will never happen.

Hisashi: But it did happen... to everyone else... Takashi, Y/n... Will you help me?

Y/n: Anything...

Takashi: Help you with what?

Hisashi points to the railing of the roof.

Hisashi: Help me over the rail... Straight to the ground from here... The impact from the fall should smash my head...

Y/n, Rei and Takashi looked at Hisashi with horrified looks.

Rei: What are you saying?

Hisashi: I don't want to be one of them...!

Hisashi fell on the ground and he was slowly dying from the fever of the bite. Hisashi started to slowly feel weak and was about to do die.

Hisashi: Y/n...

Y/n: Yeah...?

Hisashi: Take care of... Rei and Takashi... You're the only one for them now...

Y/n: (speechless for a second) I'll take care of them for you... I promise.

Hisashi: ... Thank you...

Hisashi breathed weakly and he took his last breath as he closed his eyes his breath was faded... Hisahi is now dead, but he will come back to life as one of the Walkers any second.

Rei: Hisashi!!! No!! No!!! YOU CAN'T DIE!!!!!

Rei held onto Hisashi's dead body and started crying for Y/n to get up from the ground and walked away from Hisashi's body.

Y/n: Rei... Get away from him.

Rei: (looks at Y/n) No! He's not dead, he's not turning! He's just passed out from the fever, right?!

Y/n: He's not... He's going to come back as one of the Walkers... Rei, step away from his body.

Rei: I won't! He's not dead! He's not! He's going to be fine!

Takashi: Rei... Do what Y/n says...

Rei: (looks at Takashi) No! He's not turning!

Takashi: Get away from him...

Hisashi's body started to move a bit and his eyes opened to reveal the same eye color the Walkers have. Hisashi's body started to get up for Rei to notice.

Rei: Hisashi? Look, guys, he's getting up, he's getting better...

Rei looked at Hisahi, now turned into a Walker.

Rei: Hisashi...?

The Hisahi Walker started to growl at Rei, Y/n and Takashi, for him to walk slowly towards them.

Rei: What's the matter...?

The Hisahi Walker kept on walking slowly to Rei. She got up to go to Hisashi, but Y/n grabbed Rei to pull her back to get away from the Hisashi Walker.

Rei: Hisashi! No way...! This can't be true... No way...!

Hisashi Walker started to get closer to Y/n, Rei and Takashi.

Y/n: Takashi... You know what to do...

Takashi: (nods at Y/n)

Takashi walks in front of Y/n and Rei faces Hisashi Walker.

Takashi: I know you can't believe it... I can't believe it...

Rei: Takashi...?

The Hisashi Walker started to get cloder for Takashi to grip his bat tightly.

Takashi: But it's happening...

Rei: (tears streaming down eyes) Don't do it...

Takashi: IT'S HAPPENING!!!

Takashi charges at the Hisashi Walker with a war cry and he swung the bat downward as hard as he can to smash Hisashi's brain for blood to be splattered everywhere. The Hisashi Walker fell down on the ground, fully dead.

Rei: NOOOO!!!!!

Rei got out of Y/n's grasp to go to Hisashi's Walker body and started crying. After everything has happened, it has led to the only three survivors of this nightmare they are in now, with a world now filled with dead people coming back to life eating living people. Y/n found a towel for him to cover Hisashi's head.

Rei: Why? Why...?

Takashi: He would've bitten you if I didn't do that, Y/n held you back so that way you didn't get bit.

Rei: I didn't ask you two to save me! And how would you... know that anyway? What are you, some expert?! And I would have been willing to get bitten... Better to die that way than surviving by doing something like this!

Takashi: I don't think Hisashi would have wanted that for you.

Y/n: He wanted you to live on.

Rei: How do you know that, Takashi, Y/n? Oh, I know... I know. You both must have hated Hisashi, am I right? Because he was dating me!

Y/n and Takashi looked at Rei with hurtful looks in their eyes. The both walked to the barricade to deal with the Walkers.

Rei: Hey, where do you think you two are going?

Takashi: You obviously don't want us around no more...

Y/n: So we'll just go downstairs to smash and stab them...

They both kept on going for Rei to follow them.

Rei: Wha- What are you talking about? You both can't take on that many of them by yourselves!

Takashi and Y/n removed the barricade for them to move the chairs out of the way.

Rei: Hey, wait... Takashi? Y/n?

Y/n and Takashi both climbed on the table to go and face the Walkers behind the barricade, but Rei grabbed on their arms to stop them from going over.

Rei: No, stop it! I'm sorry... I didn't mean it, I really didn't mean it! So please... Please stay with me... Don't leave me!

Y/n and Takashi saw Rei how sad she is for them to leave her, but they got down from the table for Takashi to hug Rei for Y/n to hug both of them like in a group hug.

Y/n: Hisashi made a promise to me, to keep both of you safe... I won't break that promise.

Rei heard Y/n's words for her to cry into Takashi's shoulder for Takashi to hold on to her more and never let her go.

This is just the beginning of the survivors of this undead nightmare, but soon, they will find other people to fight in this nightmare...
