AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

I covered my ears after I took the tape off the mouth of the girl who was a part of a group called the Scavengers. The doors burst open, and Thalia and Mikey went through with their worried faces. I signaled them that I was ok, and they nodded while leaving. I turned back my attention to the girl.

Y/n: "Girl, why did you scream like that!?" I said while scratching my ears.

Yuuki: "Because it hurt, and I have a name! It's Yuuki!" She said very angry with a red mark from a cheek to another.

Y/n: "Ok, but you should know that I'm not the one who tied you up. It was this people that have that kind of fetish."

Yuuki: "I don't care what they like or not. I don't belong here with them and they killed my boyfriend."  I looked at her with a serious look.

Y/n: "Your boyfriend, or your vibrator?" Her eyes widened. She was going to argue, but I cut her off. "What I'm looking at now is a girl that likes to have sex all the time. Also, you try to seduce people to get away with things, just like what happened with Mikey. Luckilly, it won't work here." She eyes turned to a seductive one.

Yuuki: "Are you sure about that sweety?" I have to say this was tempting, but I met a few girls like her and I know how to deal with them. She tried to make a pose, but failed miserably.

Y/n: "I'm completly sure." I kept my serious face. "And if you are going to keep that attitude, I'll let Thalia throw you out with Them and be eaten." Her face change very quick to a frightened one.

Yuuki: "You wouldn't." She tried to sound brave, but she was trembling.

Y/n: "Then, lets test that theory, shall we?" I went towards the door and started to twist the handle.

Yuuki: "WAIT!" I turned to her and she was terrified. "I'll-I'll talk. Normally." I raised an eyebrow and she lowered her head.

Y/n: "Just a warning, Yuuki." She looked at me. "If you talk like that with the people here, I, myself, won't hesitate to tie you on a pole and leave you there to rot with Them, understood?"

Yuuki: "Never knew you were into those kinky stuff." She smirked. I started to open the door- "WAIT! I couldn't help it! It was joke. Heh." She laughed nervously. I closed the door and sat across her. She got a little nervous, but she managed to say a few words. "Umm, why did you kept me alive?" I looked at her confused. 'She wanted to die or something?' I asked myself.

Y/n: "This people are the ones who kept you alive, not me. Why? Did you wanted to die with the rest of those people, those things as well?" She shooked her head.

Yuuki: "No no, is not that. Is just..." She stared at my eyes and saw that I was serious. She sighed. "It's just odd, that you people killed all of my group and the only one that you kept alive, was me." She looked sad and curious. I was thiking for an answer that would sound reasonable and not flattering.

Y/n: "Is because we don't harm those who aren't a threat." I came up with one of the rules that my father tought me and started to add more things that made her look at me. "Also, maybe you were with the other group, but that didn't mean that there wasn't a way to change your mind."

Yuuki: "You think that sparing me would change my mind of how I am!?" She sounded angry. Maybe because it sounds like a cliche. 'You saved me and I'll thank you' stuff. I don't actually know why they spared her, but there's no turning back now from this fight with her.

Y/n: "Actually, no." I have to choose my words carefully or she'll look at me as an enemy.

I put my hand inside my pocket and felt somthing starnge. I took it out and it was Shido's glasses. An idea popped in my head and I started to put my idea in motion by putting the glasses on the table. Her eyes widened and she looked at me with hatred and sadness. I wasn't intimidated by it. I just put my elbows on the table, my chin on the back of my hand, and stared at her with my calm expression.

Y/n: "There was another reason that I let you live." I started to make this up, but I'm sure that it would change her mind about me.  I know I said that I didn't let her live, but lets try to change the table and make this reason be more special for her. "Is because you don't have another place to stay and you're going to be alone in this world fighting against Them. Actually, you won't even last five minutes out there." Tears were forming in her eyes, but her anger expression was still on her face. I know I said of making it special, give me a break. "What I'm trying to say is that you have place here. Instead of giving your body to anyone out there, you can help us and make everything turn back to normal. Live our lifes like we used to be or even better."

Yuuki: "I thought you said that you weren't the one to let me live. Why did you lie to me and why did you put Shido's glasses in front of me?"

Y/n: "Because I don't take the full credit for myself and look like a hero when everyone in this place puts a lot of effort for the best of the living." That came out well than expected. "The reason I put his glasses here, is because I want you to look at them and take the example of it." She looked at me confused about it. "What happened to Shido was true. I killed him and I don't regret it, and the reason I killed him was because he was bad and he was one of the reason this world is like it is. He crated those creatures." She looked shocked. Looks like she couldn't believe that her 'saviour' was the one who turn this world to hell.

Yuuki: "Lies. That's a lie." Her eyes were wide and her body was shaking out of shock.

Y/n: "Believe it or not, it's the truth. The point that I'm trying to get here..." She looked at me with eyes of disappointment. "...is that I don't want you to go the same way as him and..." I hesitated to say this because this is going to change things, but I have to finish what I started. "...I don't want to put my blade through you. It would be unbearable to carry the guilt of killing you."

Yuuki: "Why would you care if you kill me or not?" She looked confused and I didn't know what else to say, but I had to let my tongue lose.

Y/n: "Because I want to give you a chance to live and make something good out of it, so we all can have a better life. Even you can have that life."

============Timeskip============

Ten minutes has passed and I opened the door of the office. Mikey and Thalia were standing a few feet away from the door.

Mikey: "So, what did you do to her?" He said getting closer.

Y/n: "We just talked." After I said that, I moved to the side to reveal Yuuki standing behind me with a shy face. "She'll be staying with us and she won't do... inappropriate things to the people here." They looked at her with suspicion, but nodded.

Mikey: "Thalia, take her to get some new clothes, and show her around."

Thalia was going to protest, but I motioned to her to get closer to me. When she was close, I got closer to her ear and whispered: 'If she do something inappropriate to the people, don't hesitate to threaten her with throwing her out of the mall.' Her eyes and smile became sadistic. Then, she turned around and told Yuuki to follow her.

Y/n: "Yuuki," she turned to me. "...don't flirt with anyone, ok?" She nodded with fright, then walked behind Thalia. I turned to Mikey and he was confused.

Mikey: "Why did you told her that?"

Y/n: "Because if she flirts, Thalia might throw her out of here." His face was with a smile and a really face.

Mikey: "She won't do that."

Y/n: "I gave her the ok." We both chuckled. He started walking and I followed.

People in here kept thanking me about protecting them and fighting along side them, those who saved my life said that if I need something that they would gladly help, and some kids got on my back or on my legs. It was kind of fun for them to see me struggle, but their parents called for them, and they got off me.

Mikey: "I have to say this again, but they see you as hero. The Wolf of the Keepers."

Y/n: "Yeah, but I don't see myself like that."

Mikey: "But they do." He looked at me with a warm smile.

Y/n: "But why wolf? I mean, it's not bad the name, but why the wolf?"

Mikey: "Because of the pendant that you have around your neck." I looked at my necklace that has a wolf's paw pendant. It's like a medallion.

Y/n: "Now I know why." He nodded with a hum. "I'm glad to help, even though it's not my place to do it."

Mikey: "It's good to have someone like you here." I heard gasp from people around me. I looked at them confused, then looked at Mikey. "It's odd to hear me say that I'm glad for a person, so that surprised them. Anyways, changing subject, we have a little situation in our hands."

Y/n: "What's the problem?" He just gestured me to follow him, went up the laddders to the roof, and I followed. When I was on top, he was at the edge of the roof, behind the letters of Walmart, looking to the horizon.

Mikey: "Come and see what's the problem." I did as he told me.

When I got to the edge, what I saw shocked me. A horde of Them in the parking of the mall and on the streets. When I say horde, I mean more than hundreds of them. I looked at Mikey with my eyes widened and he was disappointed and angered.

Y/n: "How did They got here and with this multitude?" He sighed.

Mikey: "Remember that they get attracted by sounds?" I nodded. "Well, with the explosion that you did almost a week ago, they might have heard it miles away, and with the fight and gunshots that happened with the Scavengers, probably attracted them because they were close enough to hear them." He got away from the edge and sat down on a chair close to the first A letter of the name Walmart. "I pains me to say this, but..." He looked at me and he was dead serious. "...getting out of here to find food and resources for us will be a pain in the arse."

Y/n: "Maybe it doesn't have to be that way." I said without thinking. He expression change to a confused one.

Mikey: "Do you know a way?" I nodded. "Then enlighten me here if you may because I'm out of ideas."

Y/n: "The things are attracted by sounds, correct?" I pointed out.

Mikey: "Yes, but that's wh-"

Y/n: "Especially, when the sound is loud, and when it's far they head straight towards it." I interrupted him and with each words, I got closer to him with determination.

Mikey: "Of course, but what does that have to do with any of this?"

Y/n: "I'm getting there. Do you have C4 in this place?" He shooked his head.

Mikey: "No, but it's in the gun store on the other side of the plaza." He still looked confused.

Y/n: "Damn! It may be difficult than I thought." Mikey had this irritated face that was a little funny.

Mikey: "Y/n I swear, if you keep with this beautiful mind crap and gibberish, I'll throw you out to the streets."

Y/n: "Mikey, it's obvious. If we get the C4 and blow them up on a distance that They can hear, they will head straight towards it." His eyes widened. "And if they are far away-"

Mikey: "We can have space for us to get all the supplies we can get." He finished my sentence. Well, almost. he stood up and put his hands on my arms. "You truly are The Wolf of the Keepers! Magnificent. I'll tell the others of the plan."

Y/n: "One more thing."

Mikey: "Why doesn't that surprise me?" He looked at me with a smile, but that changed when he realized what was I going to say. "You won't give up on leaving, aren't you?" I nodded with a sigh.

Y/n: "Look, I know that you want them safe, but keeping them here with improvised plans won't keep them safe. And I know you noticed how scared they are because they're not sure if those doors will hold much longer." He looked down and he KNEW that I was right.

Mikey: "But, where would we go? There's no place that we can stay that is safer than here."

Y/n: "To the base that all civilians are taken. That place is safer than here. We can go there and they will feel much safer." He gave a lot of thought about it. He walked back and forth for five minutes, until he came to stop.

Mikey: "Do you know the location of the base?" He looked at me very serious.

Y/n: "Northwest from here, just a few kilometers." He put his hand in his pockets and sighed.

Mikey: "Let me think about how I'm going to get the C4 and send someone to a place so they can detonate the C4, then think about how to move everyone to the base." I nodded, but I added something else.

Y/n: "I'll be the one who'll go to a place and detonate it. Leave that task to me." He looked at me with a worried face.

Mikey: "But you're injured. We don't know when the wound might open." I waved at him so he could calm down.

Y/n: "I won't go NOW because you still have to plan how to get it." He gave me a poker face. "In the mean time, I'll check on Thalia and Yuuki. See if Thalia hold her need of killing Yuuki." He let out a chuckle.

Mikey: "Ok. See you later Y/n." I nodded and he went inside.

I looked to the horizon and was wondering how was Rei and the others. 'I hope they are ok.' I prayed.

I headed inside and started to search for Thalia. I encountered a few people and asked them if they knew where Thalia and Yuuki were. They told me they went towards the fitting room so the 'scavenger girl' can change to the new clothes. When I got there, Thalia was outside, waiting for Yuuki to come out. I got closer and spoked from behind.

Y/n: "How have you been holding?"

Thalia: "EEEEEP!!!!!" She turned around and went to slap me. Luckilly, I blocked her attack. When she realized who it was, her cheeks turned red of embarrassment and looked to the side. "Don't scare me like that. I might have hurt you." I chuckled and let go of her arm.

Y/n: "Sorry for startling you. Just wanted to check if you killed her or not."

Thalia: "Unfortunatelly, she stayed quiet and didn't do any perverted acts towards the others." She crossed her arms and looked a little disappointed. I patted her head.

Y/n: "One day Thalia, you'll get your chance." I smiled and she smiled back. My eyes then landed on her necklace. It reached where her cleavage was and it actually picked my interest. She looked where I was looking and she turned away covering her chest with her arms very embarrassed.

Thalia: "W-w-w-w-what are y-y-you looking at PERVERT!!!???" My eyes widened.

Y/n: "WHAT!? No is just that your necklace..." She looked confused. "...it caught my interest."

Her cheecks turned redder from the embarrassment, but she turned around and showed me her necklace. It was an arrow piercing the same symbol as my sword and gauntlets. I aksed her: "Where did you get it?"

Thalia: "It was my mother's pendant. She told me that this same pendant was passed down from generation to generation since the Renaissance." I looked intrigued by the story. "It hold meaning you know."

Y/n: "How so?"

Thalia: "What my mother told me, it was when a single arrow made an encounter between thief and warrior. Where the thief got injured by an arrow and the warrior did what he had to do. Save her life. They became close and helped each other. Eventually, the warrior went away where the thief could't follow him, but she became a warrior as well. She crafted this pendant to remind her of the moment when she met him and when she truly found a meaning to her life." I stared at her with awe. Her story sounded familiar, but i couldn't help to feel mesmerized by it.

Y/n: "Wow. Just, wow." She giggled. "What's so funny?"

Thalia: "You're reaction towards a story. I never thought that just a story  of the past get the attention so much." She kept giggling.

Y/n: "But it's interesting. It actually got my attention." She looked at me with a smile.

Thalia: "I'm glad. I call it 'The Rose's Arrow'." I looked at her cofused, but she answered my question. "My mother's name was Rose. Just like my grandmother and all the woman of my family, and the thief of the story, her name was Rosa."

Y/n: "A classic name and no one appreciate the tradition nowadays, but your name is Thalia." I looked at her with confusion.

Thalia: "My name is Thalia Rose. Rose is my second name." She answered. "Just in case..." She had a smirk and pulled out a Beretta M9. "...being a thief still runs in the family." My eyes widened and I check my torso. My holster was empty and the gun she was holding was mine.

Y/n: "You really are full of surprises." I tried to reach for the gun, but she extended her arm farther. Our faces were close and our lips inches away.

Thalia: "There are more surprises about me. Like luring my targets by flirting with them. Just in case if you fall for the bait." I raise an eyebrow with a grin.

Y/n: "Well, lets hope that it may not be the other way around, Rosa. Because..." I grabbed her waist, pull her so our bodies are making contact, and grabbed the gun. "...you might get stuck in your own trap." She blushed at the new name I gave her and my action. Her blue eyes locked with mine and we were getting closer.

AHEEEEMMM!!!!

We looked to the side and saw Yuuki standing beside the counter with her new clothes. They were track and field shoes, blue jeans with holes, and a white tank top with a dark green jacket. She looked a little irritated, but in a woman's point of view, it is called jealousy.

Yuuki: "Am I interupting something?" I saw her eyes twitched. Thalia was the one to answer.

Thalia: "Actually no. We were just getting to know each other better." That was her excuse and it was a funny one. Yuuki's eyebrow twitched more than her eye. "So Y/n, lets head back to Mikey to see what he's up to." She went to my ear and whispered: 'We'll continue this later.' She let me go and gestured to Yuuki to follow her. Yuuki went pass me and she looked piss.

============Timeskip============

I was at the office with Thalia, Mikey, and a man that I never met. This man had blonde hair with red eyes, he had a bullet proof vest, and a assault rifle. Yuuki was waiting outside because they didn't trust her.

Mikey: "Y/n, I want you to meet Sam Weyland. My right hand man." We both shooked hands.

Y/n: "Nice meeting you Sam." He nodded and said the same thing. "I thought that Thalia was your right hand girl." He chuckled.

Mikey: "She's actually my left hand." Thalia elbowed me. "Alright this is my plan, we will head out from the front door and sneak to the other side of the mall to get in the army shop. We get all the C4 we can get and head back." I looked at him for more, but none came.

Y/n: "That's it?"

Mikey: "Yeah."

Y/n: "With all due respect Mikey, but that's a sloppy plan."

Mikey: "Then tell me a better way to get there." He looked a little irritated.

Y/n: "You forgot about Them."

Mikey: "Come again."

Y/n: "Those things might see us or hear one of our steps that might turn louder than expected. So, we can use some firecrackers that I saw in this shop and put them to work." They looked interested, including Sam. "We throw few of them to the opposite of where we're going and wait until most of Them are gone from the door. We then open the door, head out with knives just in case, and head towards the shop. When we get what we need, one will give a signal so they can throw another firecracker so they don't get to our direction. We head back and start planning on how to head somewhere far so they can head there by the noise." I said the full plan and they looked amazed.

Sam: "It's actually a good plan, but my question is who will go to get the C4."

Y/n: "I'll go."

Thalia: "No!" She looked a little agitated. "You're injured. We won't risk you going out there with a wound like that. It might re-open or you might get weaker and They might eat you. So, that's a no." I looked at Mikey and he gave me a 'sorry ' look. "I'll go."

Y/n: "What? No."

Thalia: "I can take care of myself. And, I'm an expert on being silent when I want to." She raise her hand and revealed it was a ocket watch. Mikey checked his pockets and then made an irritated face. He took his watch back.

Mikey: "Then it's settled. Thalia will get the C4 while we distract this creatures." We nodded. "Ok. Then lets move!!!"
