Y/n P.o.v

After what Thalia and Yuuki told me, we decided to stick together, obviously Thalia didn't like the idea of Yuuki hanging around with us, but what could she do. We didn't stick together like hanging around more, but to keep our eyes open for anything very suspicious.

Also, after the incident that Mikey yelled at Thalia for taking risk of saving her own life by shooting the gun, he returned to be the proud yet bright guy that I met when I got here. His change of character and attitude happened after I told him about the pendant's origins, but everything turned back to normal. Also, within those days, we were planing on how and where we would go to plant our C4 so we could move to the safe base.

Only three of us could go, and Mikey made me choose. I chose Thalia and Yuuki to acompany me. Mikey didn't like the idea. Not about Thalia tagging along, but about Yuuki. I conviced him by telling him that it will be a test and to teach her the ways of killing Them, and lecture her of doing things without seducing everyone and her attitude. Luckily, he got convinced.

He asked me why I didn't chose Sam over Thalia. She didn't take this well. It sounded like he doesn't trust her anymore. I told him that Sam can stay at the mall so he can protect the civilians, and that I needed her because she is very agile with the knife and very quiet. He nodded, but still unsure about it.

Right now, we were readying ourselfes to leave. I put my jacket on, with my gun inisde the jacket, checked if my magazines were filled completely, checked my hidden blades, sheath my sword on my back, and adjusted my pendant. I went to the other room and saw Thalia putting a knife on her right lower leg and another knife on her other lower leg. She took her own guns, twin revolver to be precise. Two Mateba Autorevolver, 6-round cylinder, semi-automatic. She put them on her holsters that were on her back waist, then she put her hoodie on. She turned to me and she looked a little flustered.

Thalia: "How long were you standing there?" She asked a little embarrassed, looking at me with my arms crossed.

Y/n: "Right after you put your knives away." She relaxed and sighed. "Ready to leave?" She nodded. "Lets go check on Yuuki to see how she is, then we leave." She groaned.

Thalia: "Why are we bringing her again?" She sounded irritated.

Y/n: "You know why, so stop whinning," I turned around, but I felt a hand holding my arm.

Thalia: "Can I ask you something?"

Y/n: "You already did." I smirked.

Thalia: "Jajaja, very funny." She said sarcastically. "May I?" I nodded. "In your way to the elementary school, in your group, was there a girl you like?" This question was out of the blue. There wasn't a day that I didn't thought about Rei, even though I didn't mention her in the last chapters, but that never meant I wasn't thinking of her. I had to answer her with the truth.

Y/n: "Yes, my girlfriend." Her eyes looked at me, but they weren't disappointed. They were more like waiting for more to hear.

Thalia: "What is her name?" This is odd. She is asking of my love life, but why?

Y/n: "Rei. Rei Miyamoto." Her eyes widened and she hold my arm with both of her hands.

Thalia: "Rei Miyamoto, as an orange hair and eyes, and her first childhood crush was Takashi Komuro!?" My eyes widened this time.

Y/n: "You know them?" She nodded. "How?"

Thalia: "I was in middle school when I met them. We weren't that close, but I knew them as aquaintance. How are they by the way? Before you came to us."

Y/n: "They were ok. We survived many waves of those creatures and we became more closer than friends. We became a family." She nodded, but why she asked this all of a sudden? "What happened?"

Thalia: "I moved to another district, so I couldn't see them anymore." I nodded, but I wanted to know why she asked me that. "Shall we go and check on Yuuki?" She sounded off. She started to move, but I hold her arm this time.

Y/n: "Why did you asked me? And don't lie to me." I know it was a stupid question, but I had to. She sighed, then turned around, and looked at me.

Thalia: "Are you asking because you want to get the curiousity being answered or are you densed?"

Y/n: "Because I want to know the truth." She sighed again, but this time she answered.

Thalia: "I like you Y/n, but you seem that you don't want to take the step of asking me. Also, the time that I tried to tease you, but it turned out the other way around, it was the first time that someone made me uneasy and turned my game agaisnt me. I wanted to get to know you better, but deep inside me I knew that you had someone else in your life. That's why I decided to ask you now before we took off." She looked down and looked disappointed. I lifted her chin so she could look into my eyes.

Y/n: "I like you too Thalia, but I'm not sure if I'm the right guy for you. We would have to wait a little longer and see if Rei accepts to share, I highly doubt she'll share me, and it's wrong to do it behind her back." We stared into each others eyes. "But that doesn't mean that we can't have our teasing time a few moments." I smirked and she did the same. With that, she gave me a peck on my lips and backed away.

Thalia: "Like that moment?" I looked at her with my jaw moving side to side. "Also," She raised her hand with my gun. "...you have to check your pockets just in case." I extended my hand so she could give me my gun. She tossed it to me, I catch it, and put away inside my pocket. "And don't worry about me, there aren't good men in this world. They're probably dead already. And if they're still alive, then lets see if they can get me, but with the world being as it is, we don't have time to think about that." I nodded at her statement, even though it doesn't apply to me anymore.

Y/n: "Still, lets not do our teasing a lot, ok? It's still doesn't look right." She nodded and kept her smile. "Now, lets check on Yuuki." I started to walk. She groaned a little, but followed me.

When we reached the other lane, she was putting some military boots on. She looked at us and nodded.

Y/n: "Ready Yuuki?"

Yuuki: "No, but what else I can do?" She stood up and I got a view of her outfit. She was wearing a gray shirt with camuflage pants, and boots. She looked ready to fight and to kick some ass.

Y/n: "True, but at least you can go outside with us." She nodded. "Lets go to Mikey and tell him that we're ready to go." They both nodded and started heading to the managers office.

Five minutes has passed, and we reached the office. After I went through the doors, I saw Mikey making plans with Sam on a map.

Mikey: "...even if we can't get there, we have other routes." He looked at us and stood up straight. "Ahhh, the people I was waiting for."

Y/n: "Need something?"

Mikey: "No. I just want to re-run through the plans again." I nodded and headed over the map of Japan. "We are here, and the base is Northwest from here." I nodded. "So that means..." He moved his hand diagonally to the left up. "...the base is somewhere in this area, which is an isolated area. No buildings, no people, just a fence blocking the way and ahead of the fence just trees."

Y/n: "It may look weird, but it's obvious that the military didn't want no one in that area because of their hidden base."

Sam: "Which makes it more obvious that they barricaded that area more." I looked at him confused. "A few days ago, I scouted that area, and there was more protecion behind the fence than before." He answered my unsaid question.

Thalia: "That means that there's more protection for the civilians."

Mikey: "Exactly, but we have a little problem." He traced the line between the base and where we're at with his finger. "The way there won't be easy. After you return, they'll be more of those things on the way. And we're taking more than thirty people, we have to be extra careful."

Y/n: "Some of us we'll scout ahead to get rid of the danger." I pointed at some parts of the area. "There are also multiple routes on the way, so we can take them and avoid Them as much as possible."

Mikey: "Brilliant." We separated from the table. "Now remember, the way to the building is two hours, and the way back may take more time because of Them." We nodded.

Y/n: "And in the mean time, you and your men prepare the civilians to leave and coordinate more optional routes to the base." He nodded. "Alright, shall we?"

All: "Lets!"

Ten minutes, and we were at the front barricade. I had my back pack with three bottles of water, a few snacks, and my sword on my side now. I looked at Thalia and Yuuki, and they had the same things. Except, Thalia had an ax, a submachine gun, an FN P90, a belt that went across her torso from left bottom waist to right shoulder with e magzines of her gun, and a belt on her waist with ten throwing knives. She also had 5 C4 in her back pack, I had 10, and Yuuki had 5.

Yuuki had our ponchos, her arms and legs were wrapped up with magazines books with tape just in case she doesn't get bitten, and a bat with nails. She also had a hunting knife and a taser. I don't think the taser would work, but who knows.

I turned my head and saw Mikey in front of me.

Mikey: "Take this, just in case." He got something from his back and it was a sniper, an FN Ballista, a bolt action sniper rifle. "Just in case if you get trapped somewhere use it without hesitation, it has a silencer."

Y/n: "Thanks Mikey, I appreciate it."

Mikey: "Take care of yourself, will ya?" I nodded. He then started to move to open the barricade. 'He didn't even say to take care of Thalia. What's gotten into him?' I thought looking at Thalia.

Thalia and Yuuki got to my side and we got ourselves ready to head out. When the barricades were open, Thalia went first, then Yuuki, and I went last. We didn't look back, we just kept running and dodging Them.

============Timeskip============

Thirty minutes has passed and we were taking a break. After the run, we were walking and looking around us just in case we don't get attack. Our way was actually quiet, but that didn't matter.

We were drinking water side by side. Thalia on my right and Yuuki to my left.

Y/n: "You girls ok?"I asked concerned for them.

Thalia: "Great to be out of the mall for once." She said taking a deep breath.

Yuuki: "Tired, but I'll manage."

Thalia: "Like you'll last more than ten minutes." She scoffed.

Yuuki: "What's that supose to mean?" She sounded irritated.

Thalia: "That you won't last more than three steps from now."

Yuuki: "Screw you. Like you can tell me what I can and can't do!" They kept arguing about it. 'I just asked one simple thing, and now they are fighting.' I sighed. The looked at each other very angry.

Thalia: "As if you can do something."

Yuuki: "Arggh! You're such a-"

Y/n: "Enough!" I didn't yell, just said it with firm voice. "If you girls don't coexist with each other, either you'll end up fighting with hands or I'll let Them eat you." They got a little scared.

Thalia: "Like I'll let that happen."

Y/n: "Stop, ok? In the mean time, stop fighting and start to get aquainted for once. And while you girls do that, lets start walking towards the building." I stood up, grabbed my back pack with irritation, and started walking. They got up and started walking behind me. I didn't look back because I want them to get along, but if they don't, then what else can I do?

============Timeskip============

It's been an hour now. We encountered some of Them, but I was the one to handle them. Just stabbed them on their heads with my hidden blade. Thalia and Yuuki were still on the 'no talking' moment, but I didn't care.

I could see the building from afar, but we had to take a break again. We were at a convenience store and we were searching for chips. The thing that was odd, is that the place was quiet. Too quiet. There were corpses on the floor and the blood looked recent like a few hours ago they were killed. 'Who did it?' I asked myself.

Yuuki: "Listen Thalia," I got up and looked at where Thalia and Yuuki were; at the entrance. "I know we started with the wrong foot, but lets leave it in the past, ok?"

Thalia: "Why should I do it? You're the one who seduced some of my friends to your little cult crap."

Yuuki: "I know, but it's for the best of us."

Thalia: "Us? What do you mean US?"

Yuuki: "Y/n, you and me. I know that I don't have the right, but I'll try and make the things right from now on. But please, I want to be great person. If it wasn't for Y/n, my eyes wouldn't have opened. I can see now a better world thanks to him." Thalia looked a little startled, but gave thought too. "And I believe that he did the same thing to you." Thalia tensed.

Thalia: "You like him too, don't you?" Yuuki nodded with surprise. "Guess that's one thing we have in common."

Yuuki: "Yeah."

Thalia: "That doesn't mean we're friends."

Yuuki: "I know, who would be friends with a rival, after all, there's one that already got to him." They both giggled and nodded this time. A smile came across my face.

Y/n: "I see you girls are getting along." I startled them.

Yuuki: "How long were you standing there?"

Y/n: "I just got here. You girls really talk loud." They were blushing. "Anyways, ready to keep moving? I already got our snacks." They nodded and we started to walk to the building. This time, they were by my side.

============Timeskip============

When we reached the building, it had twenty floors and it was loaded with Them.

Y/n: "You girls ready?" They nodded.

Yuuki took out her bat, Thalia took out her ax, and I took out my sword. We took out one C4 each and planted them outside. When we entered, there was one of them and I swung my sword to it's neck. It's head fell. Then I saw a corpse landing both of my side. Thalia and Yuuki were standing beside me with their weapons with blood. I smiled at them, then put my hood and mask on. We went forward and planted the C4 on each corner of the lobby. That is 4 less.

Yuuki had 2, Thalia had 2 and I still had 9. When we got to the elevator Yuuki pressed the button and I looked at her with a really face.

Yuuki: "What?"

Thalia: "You do know that the lights are out right?" She gave an 'oh' face, and Thalia and I face palmed.

We went towards the stairs and headed to the fifth floor. When we reached it it was a hallway to both sides, there were corpses. It freaked me out, and the blood looks fresh. 'Weird.' I thought.

Thalia: "Is there another group here?"

Y/n: "Probably the ghost of the building killed them." She hitted me with her elbow.

Thalia: "Don't joke about that."

Yuuki: "Afraid of ghost are we?" She teased.

Thalia: "No I'm not!" She stormed to the left.

Y/n: "Go to her and plan your last C4 with her. I'll take the right." She nodded and ran towards Thalia. I took the right. I reached the end of the hall and planted two C4 on the floor and the other two close to the cealing. When I checked my back pack, I counted the C4 I had left. I had 5 of them.

When I reached the stairs, Thalia and Yuuki were waiting for me.

Thalia: " We don't have more C4."

Y/n: "I know. I got five of them, so on the tenth and on the fifteenth floor, we'll plant two, on the twentieth floor the last one we've got, and then, we leave and blow this place." They nodded.

We did what I told them. One on the left and the other on the right of the hall. After we did the tenth and the fifteenth floor, we went to the twentieth floor. The odd part was that there were more corpses. It was recent like more than ten minutes ago they were killed. I just shrugged it off and kept with our plan.

When we reached the final floor, I was going to plant the last C4 in the middle when I heard voices. I looked at the girls and they took their knives out. I got my blade out and walked silently to the left where the voices were coming. I looked a little and saw four people. They were wearing military gear and helmets. There was one to the door and I had a plan.

I told Yuuki and Thalia to take the guns out and aim, but not shoot. They nodded and Thalia gave Yuuki on of her revolver while she took her submachine. I readied my blade and went forward to the guy very close to the door, and threaten on his back.

Y/n: "DON'T MOVE OR HE'LL DIE!!!" They aimed their guns at me and Thalia and Yuuki were on my side aiming at them. One had a shotgun, the other had an assault rifle, and the other had a pistol. They looked at each other with confusion on what to do. "I SAID DON'T MOVE!!!" I raised my blade over the guy's neck to make threat more convincing, but what we heard was gasp. The guy with the shotgun lowered his gun very slowly when he spoke.

???: "Y/n?" He asked and the others lowered their guns at the same time, but with their body tense. The guy that spoke took off his helmet and showed the first person that I've called a brother.

Y/n: "T-Takashi?" My arm lowered on its own, retracted my blade, and lowered my hoodie and masked. We got closer to each other very quick and embraced each other like we haven't seen ourselves for years.

Takashi: "Damn it Y/n!!! I'm glad your alive!" He said with his voice breaking. I looked behind him and saw Saya and Hirano with tears.

Y/n: "I'm glad that you're safe!" We separated from each other and we fist bump like always. His tears were running down like a river. He tried to wipe them away, but they keep coming out. I looked at Hirano and he gave me a hug as well.

Hirano: "P-please, tell m-me this is real. *Sniff*" He was crying. I can't blame him.

Y/n: "It's real Hirano. Very much real." I sniffed. I backed away and he moved aside to let me go to Saya.

She had shockness painted all over her face. She was paralized.

Y/n: "Hey Tsundere." She looked a little irritated and her eye twitch. "The idiot that you scolded a few times is right in front of you." I extended my arms to the side and she came running towards me. She burried her face in my chest and started crying like a baby.

Saya: "You IDIOT! I THOUGHT YOU DIED! WE THOUGHT YOU-" She started to sob none stop. I kept embracing her and she didn't let me go for more than five minutes.

She finally let me go and she looked at me with a huge smile. I returned it. Now that I notice, she has a ponytail, instead of a twin tail.

I looked behind me and saw Yuuki and Thalia with a few tears.

Y/n: "This is the group that I mention about. My family." They nodded. The guy that I was holding hostage had black hair and glasses "And you are?"

Drake: "Oh, my name is Drake Ravenwolf. Pleasure to meet you Y/n." I nodded. I didn't ask about how he knew my name because probably they told him about me, but I still asked one thing.

Y/n: "Where are the other four girls?" They looked down, except Yuuki and Thalia.

Takashi: "Things changed Y/n." I looked at him confused. "We thought that you died in the explosion, and it hit us like The Outbreak. Sudden and hard."

Saya: "Shizuka, Alice and Zeke are ok, but the other two took it hard. Especially Rei."

Takashi: "Saeko got distant and started to be on her own. Working alone and fighting alone. She doesn't even talk to me anymore." He looked sad. I knew why because I was helping those two to get together, and now, they are separated.

Hirano: "Rei got depressed. She didn't eat, didn't sleep, she didn't even talk to us. One day, she started to move with other groups. The groups that fights in the front to exterminate Them. And those are the most dangerous missions." My eyes widened, then sadened. It's my fault that they're separated. I want to rebuild it and I will.

Y/n: "Thanks for the fill up guys." Saya embraced me more. Then, my composure came back. "Guys, lets leave this place and head to a mall that I was refuged."

Takashi: "What's your plan? What are you up to?"

Y/n: "We planted C4 in this building to blow it up." Their eyes widened, but I kept explaining. "We're doing this because the mall is overunned by them and we want some air. So, with this distraction, they'll come this way, and then the people in the mall can get out and head to the base."

Saya: "We?" I pointed at the girls that weer standing at the entrance. "Isn't she Yuuki. The one that was beside Prof. Shido." Yuuki looked down, but I defended her.

Y/n: "She was. Now she's with me."

Takashi: "What's the plan Y/n." We looked at him. "We're together again Y/n, and I'm not going to lose a brother again. So tell us the plan and we can work it out. Also, we'll escort you to the base without problem." He smirked. I looked at Hirano and he nodded. Saya was smiling widely. Thalia and Yuuki were smiling as well. And Drake had his arms crossed, and he nodded.

Y/n: "Just like old times?"

Takashi: "Just like old times."

A/n: Wohoooooo, finally with the guys, but will you ever get Rei and Saeko back to the way they were? Find out later, but not on next chapter.
