Battle after battle, different bands persevered until there were two left. First was ShockWave and up against them were Aqua Weasle.

"Okay, we're here and the rules have change!! Two songs each, make sure they compliment each other!!" The owner of Music Divinity said as he looked at the two bands who had to compete. "Oh, and this is really the final round so whoever wins here wins Battle of the Bands! Good luck!!!" Everyone cheered but it's was time.

It was ShockWave's turn so Jude looked at his bandmates. "Okay, Already Over followed by Anthem of the Lonely. Time for Already Lonely. Let's do this." The members got to their stations before Jude raised his arm.

Everyone went wild. The way the band was able to switch and blend the two songs like that turning it into one song that everyone loved. Now it was time for Aqua Weasle. Lexi wasn't planning on letting Jude win so easily. She looked at them and nodded. It was time for their combo, Numb and In the End.

The crowd went wild for Lexi just as they did Jude. The band left the stage feeling anxious. Lexi liked how this helped her with her confidence so it was a win. Even if the band lost, they were still runner up.

"Okay guys!!! What nobody knew about this is that it was televised and now I want you to vote for your winner. Will it be ShockWave? Or will it be Aqua Weasle? You have one hour, get voting guys!!"

Both bands paled when they heard that Battle of the Bands was actually being televised. All the work to boost Lexi's confidence went to waste as fear and anxiety took over her. Then it was Jude. He received negative attention for a long period of time in his life. It pained him.

Back at the school, the group got voting. Lars voted Aqua Weasle since Lexi was a closer friend and same went for Danielle, Jace and Johnny.

The ones voting for ShockWave were Amanda, Vanessa and Paige.

Other than the school, Mad Mike and Jenna voted for the Weasles and Kyle voted for the Shockers.

Backstage, Jude and Lexi couldn't stop pacing around. It was with fear too. The colour was drained from their bodies and it wasn't nice.

They were too worried about being outvoted to actually keep track of the time. Before they knew it their time to wait was up.

Jude felt happy. Those two last minute votes made him feel joyous inside. Whoever saved him from losing, he secretly thanked them.

Jax watched the TV before she said, "I hope this makes up for what I've done." She said before voting to bring his count to 2600 leaving both his and Lexi's bands in a tie.

Another unknown home...

"You owe me Jude... Don't make me regret this." Said a girl before she sent in the winning vote for ShockWave.

Battle of the Bands...

"They did it!! Whoever saved ShockWave are real heroes to these guys here!! Battle of the Bands is over, ShockWave wins!!"

"We won." Note said as she teared up with a smile. At the school Jace was pissed that his girlfriend didn't even win.

"How the hell did Lexi lose?!!"

"Plot armor." Lars bluntly said.

"Plot armor?" Jace and Johnny asked.

"They got saved because the author of this book wanted them to win." Lars said before Johnny slapped him upside his head.

"Man get that dumbass out of the clouds." Johnny said as Lars rubbed the back of his head. Suitable punishment considering that he broke the fourth wall... need to make sure that doesn't happen again.
