After that whole ordeal with the kiss, I ran towards Kala and asked when was the first time she kissed me. Her being a tease, told me to figure it out. So, I gave it a thought a couple a times and nothing came to mind. I told her to just give me a hint, but she only said that it would give away the fun. My only response to that was: "When I find out, I'll kiss the hell out of you." She just blushed and warned me that there won't be more kisses after I figure it out. 'Dammit.'

Anyways, it was after school, and I was heading towards the Student Council's office because Sona requested for me to show up. According to the new guy, who was walking ahead of me. He seemed a little pissed though.

Y/n: "Want to tell me why Sona-chan wants me?" He gave me a side glare, then looked forward.

New Guy: "Her name is Lady Sona!" I raised my hands and smirked.

Y/n: "Touchy much? Or is it jealousy?"

New Guy: "I don't do jealous. I'm just annoyed as to why she wants you when we have to do something." I got confused for the last part. I'll get my answer soon, but for now I'll keep playing with him.

Y/n: "Maybe she just wants a good luck kiss before ya'll depart." I believe that I heard a fuse blowing off.

New Guy: "W-WHY W-WOULD SHE WANT THAT FROM SOMEONE LIKE YOU!!!???" I slightly shook my head.

Y/n: "Someone like me?"

New Guy: "Yes! Someone like you!"

Y/n: "What's that suppose to mean?"

New Guy: "That she deserves someone better. With higher standards. Someone to stand beside her, carry her burden, with a strong physic and mindset, and someone she can look up to whenever she is at her low." I scoffed in amusement. Not just of how idiotic this guy can be, but of how the conversation escalated quickly, and his standards live up to the perfect man. It really made me see how much he cares for her, but there was a problem.

Y/n: "Not gonna lie, you're right." He was about to say something with a smile, but I continued. "But she just needs someone there." He stopped and turned to me with a confused look.

New Guy: "Care to explain!"

Y/n: "Look, that description you just have is a very high standard, which none of us are actually qualified for that matter."

New Guy: "Says who!? I qualify!" I shook my head.

Y/n: "Not even close, new guy."

Saji: "It's Saji!"

Y/n: "Exactly my point." He was going to protest, but I, once again, continued. "Your mentality isn't exactly mature enough for her standards, physically you're not even close to reach her level, you can't even carry your own burdens, and you're not even in a high level or have done something big to be looked up for." He had a blush of annoyance. "The only thing that you are good at is being reliable. And that is because you're just a simp." He just got close to my face while poking my chest with aggressiveness. My eyebrow twitched.

Saji: "A-And you think yourself all privileged because you're so strong and she lets you carry her, don't you!? All cocky and shit!" I shook my head and got serious.

Y/n: "Not even I fall in that category, guy." He got confused at the sudden confession.

The truth was that I was giving a lot of thought during class about my status in life. My relationships with my parents, friends, ORC, everyone. After that talk with Oren, it really got to me and made me reflect on my life. It's not like I'm gonna change, but it is something I feel like I have to get out of my chest. And this is the opportunity to let it out to someone I don't know and may not understand at that matter. It's a start, and let's start with Sona-chan.

New Guy: "What do you-"

Y/n: "The person you described was about the perfect man for her. Which, he doesn't exist." He got annoyed. "And don't add yourself because you're not perfect, and I'm not. We make mistakes in our lives, and not all of us has the high standard qualities. I'm strong, mentally and physically. That she can rely on me, that's a 50/50 thing. Can I carry her burdens? No, I can't because I'm no high ranking Devil. Does she has any admiration towards me? I don't know." I said with a little sarcasm, but it was true. "All and all, is that she just need someone there for her. Communication, trust, love, faith, and patience may be some of many important things in a relationship, but this one's, for me, are the important qualities. We may know how to express those at the moment. Sometimes we don't. In time, they come and we can express them after a long shot. It's only a matter of time until we realize that we can do much more for the ones we love the most."

'Holy hell, I'm in a roll today!!! I have to quote this in my life!' I though a little surprised of myself. How in the world did this deep shit came out of my mouth? I'm blown away because of myself. I deserve a pat on the back.

Saji: "Y- Wha- Ho-" I chuckled for his loss of words.

Y/n: "Cat got your tongue?" Then, the door to our side opened and it revealed to be Sona with Tsubaki. My eyes widened and realized that we were already here without realizing it. Saji got all shocked and started to shiver in fear. Me, on the other hand, I gave her a smile and waved at her. "Hello there." She had a small blush, but looked at Saji with a glare.

Sona: "You're late!" Without even thinking it, he just bowed and started to ask for forgiveness. "I should come up with a punishment." I quickly waved my hand in front of her, catching her attention.

Y/n: "Hey, be easy on the guy. We were just having a conversation and I made him stop."

Sona: "Is that so?" She looked down to Saji who was lifting his head towards her, and nodded.

Y/n: "He needed some advice. So, I stopped him so I can show him a couple of things about the subject." She looked at me with skeptical yet expecting eyes. Tsubaki on the other hand, she was smirking.

Sona: "May I know what was is about?" I put my index finger over my mouth.

Y/n: "That, my damsel, is a secret." Her blush grew a little.

Saji: "D-Damsel?" He sounded mad.

Sona: "Saji, gather everyone and meet us in front of the school." He bowed and walked inside while giving me a side glare. 'Pendejo.' I thought. "As for you. Follow me." She started walking past me, and I followed. We were at a good distance from the office.

Y/n: "So, mind telling me what's going on?" Tsubaki, who was walking beside me, answered.

Tsubaki: "We are taking care of a Stray. Since Lady Rias has one at hand, we were given the task to handle with this one."

Y/n: "And, you decided to get me because..."

Sona: "Because we want to show you our way of fighting since you've already seen how Rias' peerage handle things." I looked at Tsubaki who gave me a smirk. I just raised an eyebrow for her to translate.

Tsubaki: "She actually wants to see how you can handle yourself. She's quite curious." Sona abruptly stopped and looked at her with a blush and anger expression.

Sona: "TSUBAKI!"

Y/n: "Aww, does my damsel want to see her Knight protecting her?"

Tsubaki: "She clearly does." We both smirk. Sona was beyond embarrassed and walked towards the entrance without looking at us. We both just laughed about it. Not gonna lie, I'm thankful that Tsubaki is with me on this. If she wasn't I would've been dead by now. Or worse.

Anyways, it was nighttime, I was behind the Student Council, and we were walking towards an abandoned warehouse. 'What's this fetish for warehouses? This Stray's are weird.' I thought. They suddenly stopped and Sona turned around while the others made way for her to have a view. I got confused.

Sona: "Since we're all here, I guess that introductions are in order." I was a little confused. I looked around and saw them smiling which I returned a nervous smile. "You've never met them, haven't you?" I turned back to her and scratched the back of my head.

Y/n: "I'm sorry. The only ones I know are you, Tsubaki, and the new guy."

Saji: "Oh yeah? What's my name?"

Y/n: "For now, it's New Guy because I need a better nickname for you." He was going to protest, but Sona interrupted him.

Sona: "Since Y/n lack the information of who are the Student Council Members. Let's reintroduce you guys." I raised my hand in defense.

Y/n: "You've never introduced them to me because you and Tsubaki were the only one who looked for me, and the people that I mostly bother." She gave me a small glare. Then, two girls took a step forward.

One has long brown hair that ends in two short braids with a blue head band, and has brown eyes. The other has long white hair with blue eyes. They both gave a small bow and straightened up to give me a small smile.

???: "My name is Momo Hanakai. It's nice to meet you again. Or officially meet you." The girl with white hair introduce herself. I nodded.

???: "I am Reya Kusaka. It's an honor to meet your acquaintance." The other girl introduced herself.

Momo/Reya: "And I'm a Bishop." They both said at the same time, and took a step back to fall where they were. I was going to say something, but another girl took a step forward. She had shoulder-length, reddish-brown hair, and brown eyes. She was holding a katana on her left hand.

???: "I am Tomoe Megumi! It's a pleasure!" She said with a cheerful tone. "And I'm a Knight!" She took a step back. 'Hyperactive girl matching her piece. Opposite of Kiba.' I thought. Then, a tall girl, taller than the others, with blue, shoulder-length hair and matching eyes, rather tomboyish looking kind of girl took a step forward.

???: "Hello, my name is Tsubasa Yura. And I'm a Rook." She took a step back. Finally, the last girl with brown hair in long twin ponytails with green clip, green eyes, and was wearing striped green stockings took a step forward.

???: "'Sup." I tensed by the sudden greeting. It really caught me off guard. "I'm Ruruko Nimura. Good to meet ya. And I'm a Pawn." She took a step back. I looked at everyone and bowed.

Y/n: "It's a pleasure to finally and officially meet you all." I straightened up and looked at Sona. "So, that means that you're the King, and Tsubaki is the Queen." She nodded. "Then, what is Saji?" With that, Saji chimed in, interrupting Sona.

Saji: "I am a Pawn. And I took four of them." I raised an eyebrow, but decided to ignore that because I'm not into Devil stuff. Or maybe I should.

Tsubasa: "Are you planning on becoming a part of the peerage?" I was going to answer, but Saji decided to be an ass about it.

Saji: "If he does, he'll probably be a Pawn."

Sona: "For your information, he would be my Knight." His mouth fell to the floor and his eyes were almost wide as heck. But, I kept my eyes on Sona with a sly smirk. 'Her Knight, huh?' I thought, remembering the message. "So, stop assuming stuff without the proper information." She turned to me and kept giving that stern look.

Tomoe: "A Knight? I thought he would be a Rook, since he was a Rook when he fought Lord Riser."

Tsubasa: "Yeah. I thought I would have a Rook-Buddy." She was a little disappointed.

Tsubaki: "This decision was made before hand. Lady Sona had her eyes on Y/n since the first time he was brought to the Student Council for picking out the bullies of school."

Saji: "You're saying that he was going to be a Knight before I even joined?" Tsubaki nodded, making Saji more shocked.

Sona: "Now, since introduction is finally done. We can say that we must do this with precision and finish this job like we usually do." They all nodded. "Y/n, you'll be watching us. If need be, you can join the fight however you like." I nodded.

We started walking inside a warehouse and saw that it was like any other abandoned warehouse. Old crates, destroyed pillars, etc... What was annoying, was a clicking sound. Like multiple rapid clicking sounds.

???: "Well well well." Suddenly, a woman appeared from behind a pillar without any clothes on top. She had brown hair, and was making a pose. Her bottom part was covered by the darkness. "I've seen that you've brought me dinner. Men's meat are so tasty. Especially when they are young." She licked her lips while revealing her other bottom, which...

Saji: "This is going to be easy." He showed his left arm, and some sort of amphibian head appeared.

We were looking at a large black centipede with red spikes on the back of the body, the legs were tapping the floor with eagerness, and at the end of the body, had larger spikes like one of the dinosaurs.

Saji quickly aimed his arm towards the Stray and a type of rope came out while opening its mouth. It wrapped around most of the Stray's upper body and some of the centipede.

Y/n: "BLAM! Yoshiii!!!" I chuckled while looking at Saji, who was confused. "I already got your nickname, Yoshi. And you're stuck with it 'till I die." I joked while smiling.

Saji: "The hell man!!!???"

Sona: "Focus!"

I looked back and saw that she was struggling with the tongue. The Stray was going to slice it off with her claws that suddenly appeared, but Tomoe sliced them off. 'Deja vu.' I thought. Tsubasa gave the Stray an uppercut, then it was surrounded by a white orb. Like if it was in a cage. Momo and Reya had their arms extended towards it. They were using magic.

As they were about to finish it, the Stray started to change. As if it was halfway on her life, and they decided to upgrade and change their attack patterns. 'God I hate those.' I thought.

Suddenly, the spikes from her back and other body started to shoot out while some sort of tentacles were attached to them, and an uglier version of her arms like all deteriorate muscles appeared with claws. The tentacles started to push the orb for it to break. Unfortunately, it did. Once it landed, it hid within the dust and pulled Saji by the tongue.

BANG BANG

I had my pistols out while aiming where the Stray was. It hit, but they collided with something metallic.

Stray: "My skin is like iron! You can't penetrate me!" Her voice was demonic now.

Y/n: "That's what she said!" I quickly jumped away while avoiding a couple of tentacles that were going to grab me, and shot at them.

I started to run around while shooting at certain areas, but stopped once I thought that Yoshi is somewhere and been used as shield, so I put them away. Suddenly, I started to jump, flip, and slide because the tentacles were trying to grab me.

Y/n: "This may be your fetish, but it ain't mine!"

Stray: "You talk too much!" I was grabbed and moved somewhere at high speed, avoiding a bunch of tentacles that collided to the wall where I was. Once we stopped, I looked and saw Tomoe letting me go. She gave me a smile, then vanished. 'I didn't get to say thanks.' I thought.

I looked forward and saw a body in mid-air. I dashed forward and was ready to punch, but the dust was clearing and saw Saji wrapped around with tentacles, and one of the spikes threatening to puncture his neck.

Stray: "Knew you would fall for that!" I was then grabbed by the leg and swung to the ground. She lifted me and wrapped me. I took hold of the tentacles and started to pull, but she just kept tightening it. "One wrong move and this two will never be reborn!" I looked to the side and saw the Stray looking forward, and Saji was on the other side. Then, a spike was pointed to my neck as well.

I looked forward and saw the rest of the Student Council looking at us with worry, but ready for the opportune moment. I kept struggling and pulling on the tentacles. Then, the Stray got closer to me while putting the spike on my neck.

Stray: "It is..." She sniffed. "...usel..." She started sniffing. Then, she got to the other side of me and sniffed again. "You... smell..." She literally put her nose on my neck and sniffed even harder. It sent shivers down my spine and not the good one. "...exquisite." She made a small cut on my neck. Then, she licked her claw. "Mmh.~ Tasty.~" Suddenly, she bit me and started to suck on my blood. I screamed and tried to push her away, but to no avail. She backed up and licked her lips while wiping away the blood from her mouth. I was holding where she bit me before I die from blood loss. "Mmm MMM~ Your blood certainly taste unique.~ I'll leave best for last.~" I looked at the others with pain, but what could they do? "Now, dinner." She went to Saji and he was struggling to move. I kept struggling with the tentacles, trying to break free to stop her. She moved him closer to her and was ready to eat him. In front of everybody. I dug my fingers into the tentacles. She winced and looked at me. She smirked. "Feisty.~" She pushed me towards a wall and got closer to me. She was about to say something, but choked in it.

She started to choke and cough. An uncontrollable cough with blood. She was so confused, and couldn't even speak. Just cough. With this opportunity, I pulled with every strength I've got and tore the tentacles off of me. I put my feet against the wall and jumped towards her while delivering a punch to her face. I kept punching her and kicked her away. I landed and saw Tomoe bringing Saji with her. An idea came up.

Y/n: "Momo. Reya. You think you can set my arms on fire?" They got shocked and confused of my question. "Can you or can you not?" They nodded and Momo decided to do it. I looked forward and saw the Stray standing, but with pain in her stomach.

Momo: "Have a plan?" She said while having her hands over my arms.

Y/n: "Yeah. We beat her and we win." I looked over my shoulder. "Tomoe, I'll need you to make a path for me. Tsubasa you're with me. Momo and Reya, be ready. Ya'll will know what to do." Confused, but they nodded. It had to be short because we were pressed for time. Suddenly, my arms caught on fire. The skin slowly started to peal off, showing my prosthetics. "TOMOE, NOW!"

She disappeared and I started running with Tsubasa. The tentacles started heading our way, but they started to be cut off and fall. Once close, I jumped and delivered multiple quick punches to the face, while Tsubasa delivered a kick on her abdomen after I went over. I delivered a punch to her shell with great power. Surely, it bent, then cracked. The Stray screamed in agony and was about to turn around, but Saji took hold of her with the tongue rope.

Then, the Stray used her tail against me. I took hold of the spikes and was almost swatted away, but held it while dragging my feet through the ground. Suddenly, it stopped moving. I looked forward and saw Tsubasa holding the tail from the other side, struggling to keep it there. She looked at me and nodded behind us. I looked back and saw that there were a couple debris of the building. I nodded, and we both started to pull.

The Stray was pretty heavy. We pulled once again, making the floor Crack beneath us. Then, Saji appeared behind us with the help of Tomoe and they both started to pull with he rope. Soon, the Stray started to lift the front part.

A huge wave of wind started to blow over us. Momo and Reya were using their magic to help us lift it up. Ruruko took the advantage of the wind and flew towards the Stray, delivering a bicycle kick. Not gonna lie, while struggling, all I could do was hear the Mortal Kombat theme song while she was kicking. With that small help, the entire body was almost straight up. We just needed a little more push.

Out of nowhere, water came sprinkling on us. I saw that there was like some column of water pushing the Stray. With that little help we flipped the Stray over us. We moved out of the way, Tomoe took hold of Saji and got out of the way as well while the tongue rope let go of the Stray's body. The Stray fell, making a loud thud, and it started to squirm around and about.

After the dust cleared, we saw that there were some debris stabbing her human body, and it was causing her to be in pain, obviously. In pain, desperation, she was about to leave through a window, but was decapitated by Tsubaki with a naginata. Then, the Stray's body desintergrated.

Once everything was settled and done, everyone started to gather.

Y/n: "Is everyone alright?" I asked and they all nodded.

Tsubasa: "You really gave it a beating. You sure you don't want to be my Rook-Buddy? I could use a partner to start beating things up." She said with hope in her voice. I smiled.

Tomoe: "Nope, he's got the speed! He's definitely going to be a Knight!"

Ok, this got me shocked. They were fighting over me of who's partner am I going to be. But, I had to burst their bubbles.

Y/n: "Sorry to destroy your hopes, but I'm not joining the peerage." They were all shocked.

Ruruko: "B-But, I thought you were here to see how we do so you can decide whether to join us or not. And I'm pretty sure we did damn good." I scoffed in amusement.

Y/n: "It's not you guys. I'm not gonna lie, you're tactics and teamwork was awesome. And don't get me started with how we defeated it without even a proper said plan from me, because it was amazing." Their eyes widened with joy. "But, like I always say, I know enough about the supernatural. That should say that I'm a dangerous person for you all. I don't want you guys to be hurt because of me."

Sona: "Dangerous? That's more information than what you told me." My eyes widened. It wasn't much, but I said a little too much. Then, I realized, something wasn't right. I looked at my arms and saw that they still were in fire.

...

Y/n: "CRAP, CRAP, CRAP! TURNED IT OFF, TURN IT OF, TURN IT OFF!" I said while waving my arms around like a crazy man. Suddenly, Sona used her magic and water splashed over my arms, putting away the fire. I smiled. "Thanks." She didn't say anything, just walked towards me with wide eyes and a hurry, pushed my head a little, and looked at my neck. The pain made me remember that the damn Stray bit me.

Sona: "It looks bad."

Y/n: "It's nothing bi- OWW!" I tried to shrug, but it caused a little pain on it. Sona shook her head.

Sona: "We have to get you to Rias' healer. Then, it'll be nothing big." She said sternly, yet with concerned.

Then, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out and saw who it was. 'Speak of the Devil and she shall appear.' I chuckled. Then realized that my phone didn't cracked during the whole fight. 'Plot armor.' I thought. Anyways, Rias was calling me and I answered.

Y/n: "What do you need?"

Rias: *What I need? Usually, people always answer with a 'hello'.*

Y/n: "We're making jokes now? Every time you call me is for something that you need. So, what do you need?"

Rias: *You really think that I'm calling for something that I need?* I raised an eyebrow.

Y/n: "Do you really want me to answer that?"

Sona: "Be more nicer to her." Sona scolded, making me look at her with a really face.

Rias: *Is that Sona?*

Y/n: "No. It's cupid that struck my heart with her beauty." I saw Sona blush.

Tsubaki: "I'm pretty sure cupid is a male." Sona signal her to stop talking by flicking her wrist a couple of times.

Rias: *Why are you with Sona?*

Y/n: "Because she asked me to accompany her to handle a Stray."

Rias: *And you just comply without a problem?* She started to sound irritated.

Y/n: "Yes, I did. Why are we talking about this? Weren't you calling for something?" I heard Rias scoff.

Rias: *That's odd. Anyways, I actually wanted to ask you for something. It's not just for me. But for Yuuto as well.* I got a little curious now.

Y/n: "Kiba? What happened to him?"

Rias: *He's been acting strange and today he wasn't at his best. He's distracted and being more distant.* Now, I got concerned.

Y/n: "Was there something that made him act the way he did?"

Rias: *I'm not sure. I'll keep an eye on him when I get the chance. But, I'm asking you-*

Y/n: "If I see him in the streets, I'll keep an eye on him." I stated.

Rias: *Yes. You think you can do that?*

Y/n: "Rias, I literally just said that I'll keep an eye on him."

Rias: *You're just accepting it? Just like that?* She was shocked. I sighed.

Y/n: "Listen, princess. I know that we have our differences, and we're in the 'give me time' thing. But, Kiba is a good person, and he has nothing to do with our problems. For something to make that guy change personality really is shocking. So, yes. I'm accepting it." I heard Rias sigh.

Rias: *I appreciate it. I really do. I hope I can repay you someday.* She was sounding so genuine, it almost made me remember the time we were talking at the retreat.

Y/n: "I'm still thinking for the payment. Speaking of payment, is Asia with you?"

Rias: *Yes? Why?*

Y/n: "I'll need her to heal me. It's quite a wound."

Rias: *Will that pay my debt to you?* I heard her giggle.

Y/n: "Don't push it princess. Partial of it, maybe."

Rias: *You're no fun.*

Y/n: "Yeah. That's how I am." She giggled once again. Not gonna lie, the giggle crept me out. Because she's usually not this funny or laughing with me.

Rias: *Ok. I'll see you at the club room.* There was some chatter on the other side, and she finally realized something. *On second thought, meet me at Issei's house. We might know what's wrong with Yuuto. Issei will send you the location of his house.*

Y/n: "Sure thing." With that, I hung up, and put away my phone. I looked at Sona and saw her a little irritated, but curious. "I'm meeting her at Issei's house."

Sona: "Want me to accompany you?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "I'll be fine. It's not like I'm getting eaten by a Stray or something."

Sona: "Ok. Is everything alright with Rias, though?" I shrugged, but once again it stung.

Y/n: "I'm not sure. I'll have to figure it out once I get there." She nodded.

Sona: "So..." I was a little confused, waiting for her next sentence. Not really expected for what came next. "...princess, huh?" My eyes widened a little. 'Crap.'
