Rias P.o.v

The ORC and Student Council were in the ORC club discussing about the school already repaired. Xenovia has left with Irina fully recovered with the former planning on joining my peerage. Kalawarner left to check on Y/n after minutes of his confrontation with his brother and father. I mean, his adoptive father.

I was worried for him. After Torave dropped the news about his family, it shocked me, but I knew it shocked him, even hurt him, more than I could've imagined. During his confrontation with his brother, I sensed his pain. He was hurting. His rage and sadness drove his every move and it pained me to see him like this. I knew that Kalawarner would be there to comfort him in any way, but I wish I could also be there for him.

Sona: "Rias?" I came back from my thoughts and looked at her. She had a concerned look on her eyes. I sighed and looked at my peerage.

Rias: "All of you are dismissed. Get some rest, you all deserve it." They nodded and left, except for Akeno.

Sona: "Same for all of you. Have a good night." She addressed her peerage and they left except Tsubaki. Once the doors closed, she turned to me. "You were thinking about Y/n." I nodded.

Rias: "I'm worried for him. He's in pain and I'm sure he needs all the help he can get."

Akeno: "I'm sure Kalawarner is looking out for him." I nodded.

Rias: "I still worry for him."

Sona: "Do you think, that what the man said was lie?" I shook my head.

Rias: "He proved that he cannot lie. Something that caught my interest was the mark. I've never seen it before, but it harmed him when he lied."

Tsubaki: "I will look into it." I nodded again, and looked at Sona.

Sona: "I'll make sure to look after Y/n when he comes to school. He will need the reassurance that we're here for him." She said without me even thinking of anything, but I guessed that my expression said otherwise.

Akeno: "We all will."

Rias: "Thank you."

Akeno: "Finally admitting your crush on Y/n~?" I felt my cheeks heating up. I was going to protest, but Sona said something that shocked me.

Sona: "As his damsel, I have every right to worry for him." She said it with so much pride, a small blush on her cheeks, and a smile.

Akeno: "Damsel, you say~?" Sona nodded.

Sona: "I admit, that I have feelings for him. But, his well being comes first. That's my priority." Tsubaki coughed.

Tsubaki: "W-We should be on our way. We still have class in a couple of hours, so we must prepare for it."

Sona: "Agreed." They bowed toward us. "Farewell." The left, kept me wondering on what she just revealed. It really took me by surprise.

Akeno: "She became quite bold. I can't believe what our little human has done to her." I turned to her and saw her looking at me with a little smile. "I have to say, he has caught my interest as well." I shook my head while putting a hand on my head.

Rias: "Oh bother."

Akeno: "Rias." She sounded serious. "You have feelings for him as well, but the only thing stopping you is Issei." I looked at her with wide yet serious eyes. "I know that you haven't done anything with Issei, not even a kiss for him saving you from Riser. Even, the little thing with him against Kokabiel, it was hesitant. And it's because you are in a love triangle with Issei and Y/n. I know because I am in the same predicament."

Rias: "Meaning?"

Akeno: "I'm interested in Issei because I want to know how it feels to be devoured by a man who is fueled by his lust and desire." My eyebrow twitched. "But, thinking ahead of my future, do I want to be with someone who only wants women for their body? That is something that Y/n made me think on. He was worried for me when he was too close to me with his holy powers, then covered my body with his jacket so I wasn't exposed, and stood in front of me to defend me from any harm."

Rias: "So, your eyeing Y/n because he was a gentleman?" She nodded.

Akeno: "And, I'm sure he would treat me as a woman instead of another meat to devour." I shook my head once again for her choice of words, but that's Akeno. I sighed.

Rias: "I admit that I have a thing for Issei because of his willpower to protect others. How he saved Asia from Raynare, how he came barging through the doors to stop the announcement of my marriage. But, you're right." I turned to her, finally admitting to her assumptions. "I have also taken a liking to Y/n. He is kind to those he cares about, he fights for the right reasons, and he is a complete idiot." She tilted her head. "Don't you see? He argues with me the entire time and has made sure that I'm not in his list of favorites. When I call him, he always says what I want. He thinks that I only want him for something. To deal with my problems. He doesn't think that I just want him close so I can get closer to him. Not even with me telling him so after the battle of Riser."

Akeno: "So, you gave up?" I sighed and sat on the couch while leaning my head back.

Rias: "He makes it hard on trying. How can I compete when Sona already won?"

Akeno: "She may have won his heart as well as Kalawarner, but that doesn't mean that I won't stop trying. And neither should you." I looked at her. "I know if you manage to get to him, he will warm up to you." I took a deep breath and sighed. "Only thing for certain, if you want to head on this path, you should settle things with Issei before he gets any ideas of you being with him. It will hurt him, but if you keep on trying for both, Issei will be more hurt."

Y/n P.o.v

It was morning and I was laying in bed just staring at the ceiling. Kala managed to calm me down after my outburst, then fell asleep in her arms when we went to bed. I was still tired and exhausted. Just remembering what has happened last night, the argument, it was still vivid and it still pained me. The truth hurts, but it's still something that I'm glad that some of it is out. Just, didn't expect that Or- Nero and Vergil weren't even my real family. And mother... I didn't even know what to think of her. 

The door to my room opened, and Kala came in with breakfast. I sat up and she placed the tray on my lap with two plate.

Kala: "How are you feeling?" I shrugged. "You should eat. Even if you're not hungry, at least have something in your stomach." I wasn't feeling hungry, but she was right.

Y/n: "It's suppose to be the other way around." My voice was groggy and tired. She looked at me confused. "I'm suppose to be the one who should bring breakfast in bed." I gave a small smile and she giggled.

Kala: "Well, let's make this an exception." She took hold of the fork and offered it to me. "Say ahh." I took a bite and it was a little bland. Maybe because of how I was feeling. I took a hold of her fork and offered it to her, she gladly took it. 

After finishing our breakfast, she put the tray aside, sat beside me, and hugged me. I hugged her back. I didn't feel the need of crying. I did plenty last night. 

Y/n: "We have to get ready for school." I said in a small voice, but she didn't move.

Kala: "We don't have to." I looked up at her. "I called Gremory and told her that you weren't feeling well. She'll talk with Sitri and the professors." I nodded, accepting my fate. I really needed to take a break. 

Y/n: "What about Azazel? I thought you were going to him."

Kala: "I told him that I was here taking care of you. He didn't ask any other questions." I nodded again and held her tighter.

Y/n: "Thank you, sweetheart." I felt her heart beat loud.

Kala: "Making fun of me, are we?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "It just felt nice when you said it." She caressed my head. 

Kala: "I'm always here for you." I smiled. She started to lean back, pulling me with her, so we were laying on the bed. Then, she started to hum a lullaby that got me to fall asleep once more. Suddenly, I was woken up and she was standing on the side of the bed. "Hey, sorry to wake you." I looked around and saw that it was nighttime.

Y/n: "What's wrong?" She looked at the door, then back at me.

Kala: "You have visitors." I looked at the door, and there stood Sona-chan and Rias. I sighed.

Y/n: "Hey." Kala motioned them to walk in and they did.

Rias: "How are you feeling?"

Y/n: "Still feel like shit, but I'll live. How's everyone else?"

Sona: "They're fine. Just, a little worried for you." I nodded.

Y/n: "I guess, you're here to know what happened." They looked at each other, then back at me.

Rias: "We didn't want to bring it up because we knew it pained you."

Y/n: "It's alright. The truth was put out and it matters little now."

Rias: "It does matter." She sat on the bed close to my legs and put a hand on one of them. "It is still hurting you. I can see it in your eyes. And I don't want you to push yourself on telling us something that was too recent." She had a concern look. Seeing her like this brought a small smile. Don't know why, but it did.

Sona: "When you are ready, you can tell us later on. Right now, you need the rest." I lightly shook my head.

Y/n: "It's ok. I'll tell you." I then told them what happened after I left school. Told them everything. After I was done, Sona was sitting on my chair, Rias was still on the bed holding my leg, and Kala was on the bed beside me. 

Rias: "That's horrible."

Sona: "I never imagined that Vergil would tell you such a thing."

Y/n: "It is what it is. What's done is done."

Sona: "What will you do now, since you already know part of the truth?"

Y/n: "Honestly, I'm not even sure. It went so fast that the time to process it was overwhelming." It was quiet for a few seconds, just them trying to process it while giving me time to gather my thoughts.

Rias: "Can I be alone with him? Just for a moment." I looked at her confused. Then, looked at the others and nodded. They stood up and left.

Y/n: "What is it that you wanted to talk about?" She looked at me with saddened yet concern eyes.

Rias: "I just wanted to tell you that I'm here for you." I tilted my head.

Y/n: "You could've said that with the others here." It was meant to be a joke, but it didn't come out as such.

Rias: "There's more." I looked at her, ready for whatever she was going to tell me. "I like you, Y/n." Ok, wasn't expecting that. She had a small blush on her cheeks. "But, the thing is, I like Issei as well. And, Akeno is right, I'm in a love triangle that I decided to ignore, until last night when she brought it up." I really wasn't expecting this. I was going to say something, but she beat me to it. "I know. How can I like you when you are always arguing with me? How can I like you when all I ever did was use you for my own selfishness? Truth is, because of those, you've shown me who you really are, what you stood for, and how much you really cared. I always thought that reason behind me wanting to get closer to you was to repay you for all you've done for me, but I came to the realization. It's because when I saw you hurting and in pain made me feel hurt as well, and I don't want you to carry your burden alone as I did." She looked at me with worry. "I'm not trying to take advantage of your situation and trying to make you feel better. I just... I want to help you." I sighed. I reached to her and put my hand on her head.

Y/n: "You are taking advantage of me. If I wasn't feeling like shit, I would be arguing with you. But since I am, I'm being nice. Next time, choose a time and place because this isn't it." I sat back. "Look, I'm more confused as to why you decided now was the best time and the reasoning as to why you like me. You clearly have a lot to think about. So, go on, take your time, and settle with all the problems you're having internally. As of tomorrow, make sure you're ready for me because I might, keyword, MIGHT have an argument." She smiled and nodded. Then, stood up and went to the door. Once open, she left, but Sona-chan came in and closed the door. She got closer and quickly gave me a hug that it seemed that she and I needed. "It's been a day, but I missed you too." She backed away with a smile, but didn't let go of my arms.

Sona: "You're hiding your pain with a smile." I smirked.

Y/n: "Guilty as charged." She shook her head.

Sona: "You know that we are here for you. The ORC and the Student Council are here for you to lean on. You may not be a member of either, but we care for you as one." I nodded and caressed her arms. 

Y/n: "I know."

Sona: "I can't lose you. Not after what I did."

Y/n: "I thought I told you that it was ok."

Sona: "I know, but I just wanted to tell you. After that little incident, I felt like I lost something precious to me. Every day, there was not a single time where I did not think of you. How I made you feel, how it hurt me knowing that I caused it. When we reconciled, I never felt so happy that I thought nothing could ruin it. Until, later on, when you were distraught, I knew. I knew that I can't bare to lose you. So, I decided that every moment that I get to spend time with you, I would enjoy it to the fullest and cherish it." I was getting quite the confessions today. Not just knowing the truth about my life, but also Rias' and Sona-chan's  confessions. I really need the rest because this may be just a dream. I pulled Sona-chan and kissed her on her forehead. Her blush became visible.

Y/n: "You don't have to worry much about it. Alright? I'll be here for you as well." She smiled and looked down. I leaned forward and our foreheads connected. "Thank you." She separated and kissed my forehead. 

Sona: "You should get some rest." I nodded. 

She stood up and went to the door. Once open, Rias and Kala were standing there. Not knowing if they were eavesdropping or not, I just laid back.

Kala: "Don't worry, I'll take care of him." She had her hand on her hip.

Rias: "No doubt about it." She had her arms crossed with her confident yet caring smile. Sona-chan turned around with her hands behind her back in between them.

Sona: "I'll see you back in school tomorrow, Y/n." She gave me a smile. Seeing those three like that, got my face warming up. 'What did I get myself into?'

A/n: Well, on this chapter I just decided to wing it and see how it went. And, I must say, I did a decent job. Rias confession just came out on a whim. I was debating either erasing it or leaving it, but decided the latter to add more drama and tension to the book.
