We returned to Gremory's residence, and Loki was apprehended by Rossweisse and Odin. Sirzechs told us to take a rest for the night and that we've earned it.

At this moment, all the females were in the bathroom taking a bath while the males were in their bathroom beside ours. I was pouring water over my shoulder while inside the large warm bathtub that could be considered as a pool. Asia and Irina were talking about how the latter has been reincarnated as an Angel.

Sona: "It is nice to relax after such battle."

Rias: "Indeed." She turned to Kalawarner, who was sitting outside with her leg up. "I've never expected to see you with more wings."

Kalawarner: "Jealous, Gremory?" She had a mischievous smile.

Sona: "Unexpected is the correct term, Kalawarner."

Kalawarner: "I have managed to endure the training that Lord Azazel has recommended me to be by Y/n's side." Her smirk grew more. "I've heard that you've been more bold with your affection towards Y/n, Sitri." Sona smiled.

Sona: "Yes, I have. Jealous, Kalawarner?" Kalawarner slightly shook her head.

Kalawarner: "Wanted to confirm the rumors and my rival. You better watch your back, Sitri." Sona stood up while having her hand on her waist.

Sona: "I am not afraid of a competition, Kalawarner. After all, I was the first to set my eyes on him." Kalawarner chuckled.

Kalawarner: "Is that so?" She stood up while getting in the water. "Well, I was the one who took his first." Everyone's eyes widened, except for Sona.

Everyone: "WHAT!?"

Y/n P.o.v

I felt a shiver run down my entire body.

Kiba: "You ok?"

Y/n: "I just felt something horrible has just happened."

Saji: "Why are the girls screaming?"

Xenovia P.o.v

Sona: "I expected as much." I turned to her with wide eyes. "After the love mark you left him, I knew it was you."

Rias: "L-Love mark!?"

Kalawarner: "I was marking what is mine, Sitri. Shame that you never got to him first."

Sona: "Quite the opposite. He was always chasing me around for my attention. You came in after a week of realizing who he really was."

Kalawarner: "Still doesn't change the fact that I was his first." I was going to say something, but Akeno spoke first while standing up.

Akeno: "Ara ara~ Look at you competing over Y/n.~ Let's be honest, did he ever give any of you a cute little nickname that means something?~ Nicknames with your names doesn't count.~" Neither of them said anything. "He gave me a cute little nickname.~ Cupcake.~ I believe what is the meaning behind it.~" She turned to her side while puffing out her chest and butt out. I stood up.

Xenovia: "I'm the first one to ever have gotten a nickname from him, and let me add, I am his childhood friend." Akeno giggled.

Akeno: "Doesn't count since it's related to your name.~ Your only advantage is your past with him.~"

Xenovia: "The meaning behind my nicknames is girlfriend in another language. I believe he considered me as his girlfriend since childhood." I smiled proudly, revealing such a secrets.

Y/n P.o.v

Once again, I felt shiver run down my body. It got cold in this warm bath.

Issei: "Dude, you're shivering!" I nodded.

Y/n: "I think I'm getting sick."

Xenovia P.o.v

Kalwarner: "Didn't you have a downfall with him just a month ago?" My smile grew.

Xenovia: "A lot can happen within a month. We've been mending our relationship since then."

Kalawarner: "Doesn't change the fact that you broke his heart."

Sona: "You're one to talk. Didn't you abandon him after finding out your colleague was after the Red Dragon Emperor?" Kalawarner glared at her.

Xenovia: "Wasn't there a problem between you and Y/n before the battle of Kokabiel?" She glared at me.

Irina: "Y/n and I were each other's first kiss." She whispered, but we heard it. Making every one of us turn to her with wide eyes. She was whispering to Asia. The air got tenser. Her eyes widened and covered her face.

Y/n P.o.v

I was dragging myself out of the bath and crawling to get out of the place. 'I think the heat is getting to me, which shouldn't.' I thought. But it felt like it was something else that was making me feel this way.

Issei: "Dude, you don't look so hot! Do you need help!?"

Y/n: "I need this shit to calm down before I even die!" They didn't know what I meant. Not even I understood why I was feeling like this.

Xenovia P.o.v

Xenovia: "When was this!?" She peeked between her fingers.

Irina: "D-During our undercover mission." Her voice was a little muffled. "W-We k-kissed s-so they d-didn't suspect of us." She turned her body away from all of us.

Xenovia: "I can't believe that guy has hidden something this important from me!" I started to raise my fist.

Sona: "I can't believe that I've been beaten by an Angel!"

Kalawarner: "I believe that I have to keep an eye out for you!"

Akeno: "A new rival has just entered the group chat!"

Y/n P.o.v

I was just laying on the floor, not moving an inch. I felt a weight on me that prevented me from doing so. The others were really worried while trying to get me up. 'I wanna die.' I thought. I felt myself turning into a little ghost and flew away from my body.

Third P.o.v

Koneko: "I shared my snacks with Y/n." All the girls turned to her, confused as to why she wanted to chime in. "Through a man's heart is through his stomach. None of you has ever shared the same food from the same plate or bite." This got all the girls that were arguing feel disappointed in themselves. Kalawarner made breakfast but never shared the same food from the same plate.

Y/n was inside the bath once again with a relaxed complexion. He felt like it, too.

Issie: "Dude, what the hell!?"

Y/n: "I feel better now."

Saji: "Just like that!? What was all that about!?" He shrugged.

Y/n: "Don't know, but I feel like a weight has been lifted." He smiled.

Rias P.o.v

After hearing all of their actions with Y/n, I felt out of place. They have done things with Y/n that not even I could get closer to him as they did. The only times that it ever happened were at the retreat when we had a one on one conversation, my marriage ceremony, and my confession to him. Those weren't worth telling. 'How could I compare to them?' I asked myself. Even Koneko's input made me realize how far behind I was.

Akeno: "Let's not forget who has the most development.~" I turned to her and saw her looking at me with a smile. The rest turned to her first, then to me.

Rias: "There's no development. Besides, I chose to take a break from all of this." I lied.

Akeno: "The last portion may be true. But, your relationship with Y/n has changed. Despite the arguments and disagreements, both of you have grown from those times. Now, you two are able to stand in a room for more than a minute without going at each other's throats." It was true. We have not argued or any of the sorts since the day before the summit. But it still didn't help the fact that we just tolerate each other rather than have comfort with each other's company.

Kalawarner: "Taking a break? What do you mean by that?" I looked at her with uncertainty but sighed. She came to realization. "You mean your feelings for Y/n and that pervert?" I nodded.

Asia: "You have feelings for Y/n?" I nodded again while not meeting no one's eyes. "But... Issei..."

Rias: "I also have feelings for him. That is why I chose not to think of either of them in that way." I lied once again. I already chose with who I wanted, but I did not want to be rash in my choice.

Y/n and Issei have become more powerful in these past months. With Issei learning to use his Balance Breaker at will. The fact that he had to use my breasts to do so, it got me embarrassed. But it helped him, and I would help my servants in any way possible as long as it benefits them. Y/n is the son of Lilith and the last descendant of God. Nothing else has to be said.

In the end, I don't want my choice to be reflected on the choice of power but of character. I've been treating them as a friend to lower the expectation of either of them but also to build that trust and care that has been growing within my heart for just one person. One day, I'll express my feelings for that special person.

Y/n P.o.v

Issei: "I have to ask, dude. Why did you say that you were a god, even if it wasn't true?"

Y/n: "Like I said, it was for theatrics. Saw this trailer for a video game, and that one liner gave me the chills. So, I used it."

Issei: "What games was it?"

Y/n: "Immortal dance."

Issei: "That's real?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "No. I just made it up." I turned to Yoshi and saw him glaring at me. "Anything on your mind?"

Saji: "I got a lot."

Y/n: "Mind spilling the tea? Glaring at me won't get you nowhere, but a punch in the face."

Saji: "What is your standing with Lady Sona?" I knew where this was going. I was not going to back down.

Y/n: "We aren't a couple, but we share the same feelings for each other."

Saji: "Then, stop it!" I looked at him with mocking disbelief. "She deserves better th-"

Y/n: "It's not your choice to choose what's best for her. It's her choice." I stopped him before he even finished his sentence. "And she chose. So, back down and move on."

Saji: "I'm not letting someone like you be by her side! I don't care if you are the son of Lilith and God! Your personality is not good for her!"

Y/n: "I understand, and I know that you're right about my personality. Once again, she chose. She made the right decision? That's yet to be seen. I'm not going to break her heart because someone told me to." He stood up and got his Sacred Gear out. Not the bottom one because he was wearing a towel. His actual Sacred Gear.

Saji: "Then, I'll fight you! Whoever wins gets to be with Lady Sona!" I raised an eyebrow. I raised my hand, and his Sacred Gear disappeared. Flicked my wrist down, and he sat down with surprise.

Y/n: "I'm going to give this advice to you. She's a living being with feelings. Not a trophy or an object to be passed around because of a fight. The fact that you think that she will go to you because you won a fight or impressed her of a simple move makes you look immature and ignorant of life and of her own feelings. And I'll give you an example. If someone sees a girl, confesses, and gets rejected. Why did he get rejected?" He was thinking for an answer, but Kiba gave his answer.

Kiba: "Because they just met. There must be interaction and mutual feelings for it to be accepted." I nodded.

Y/n: "In some anime, it works because they are intrigued by the courage or are just pure horny or it's just to give the fans what they want. In other anime, they get rejected because they don't know each other. But you see them interacting later on and developing feelings for each other to the point they get together. That development is the key to every relationship. Something some of us appreciate because it is well made and it reflects a real-life situation. What have you done to actually interact with Sona aside from school work and servant work?" He didn't answer because he didn't do anything to create that chemistry. "Don't get me wrong, she acknowledges you for being a strong servant and protecting your peers when the time comes to shove. And she appreciates that. Don't let your rage and jealousy towards me blind you from that. And I'm sure there are some girls in your household that have developed feelings for you because of your kindness and interaction towards them." He looked down while thinking.

Kiba: "That's a good advice." I nodded.

Y/n: "Sort of. Some girls fall because of some great thing they did or how strong they are. Some just fall for the simplest gestures of kindness. Hell, even some of us do the same thing. It always depends on the person."

Issei: "Same thing happened with Asia." We turned to him. "I saved her from the Fallen Angels and gave her a new life." I nodded.

Y/n: "Like I said, it always depends on the person. What I told Yoshi was because of how Sona is."

Issei: "What about Rias?" I raised an eyebrow. "In what category does she fall into?"

Y/n: "Why are you worried?" He looked at me. "It's obvious that you got her heart."

Kiba: +I'm not sure about that.+ I ignored his thoughts.

Issei: "How do you know?"

Y/n: "She's living with you and hasn't left. She cares a lot for you and lets you do whatever you want. If that's not a clue for you, then you're denser than I thought."

Issei: "But-"

Y/n: "No buts, Hyoudou. Trust me. After her wedding ceremony, you have shown your commitment to staying by her side and your will to protect her. She has given you all the attention and commitment to you. Not just because you're her favorite pawn, but because she has feelings for you. Just like you have feelings for her. Don't doubt your or Rias' feelings." He nodded with a smile.

Kiba: +Doesn't she has feelings for him as well?+ I looked at him and answered him through the mind.

Y/n: +She does.+ His eyes widened but regained his composure. I looked down at the water in front of me. Then, we continued our mental conversation. +I told her off about it. Her having a love triangle isn't healthy at all. So, I told her that she had to make a choice between me and Hyoudou. From what I've seen, she has chosen him.+

Kiba: +How do you know?+ I relaxed my head on the edge by leaning it back and sighing.

Y/n: +I've seen how she treats him and how clingy she has been on helping him on whatever he needs. To the point where she exposed her breasts for him to go Balance Breaker.+

Kiba: +No surprise on that.+

Y/n: +No. It's disgusting.+

Kiba: +You sound a little disappointed.+ I sighed again.

Y/n: +More like relieved.+

Kiba: +And if it's the opposite, what would you do?+ I shrugged.

Y/n: +Haven't thought about it because it's not happening. They both love each other that they would do anything for each other. I'm not going to intervene with that. Besides, you already know where I stand with her.+

Kiba: +I know. But, Y/n.+ I looked at him, and he had a small smile. +You seem to have forgotten your little advice from earlier.+ I raised an eyebrow.

Y/n: +And that is?+

Kiba: +Why do you think she has feelings for you?+ I was confused at the question as much as I was confused as to why. +Since the day you've met, she has gotten an interest in you because you were a simple human who knew about us. Later on, she saw what you stood for and admired you to the point where she knew she could rely on you in any given moment for a good reason. And now, she has feelings for you because you are true to whatever you believe in and to yourself. No lies, not wanting to show off, and not even flirt with her because you respect her as a person. Titles, position, and race were never in your mind. You only cared for who she is more than what she is.+

Y/n: +You forgot where I was prejudiced with ya'll.+ He shook his head.

Kiba: +Because of how you were raised. You've grown from that.+ I sighed and looked up. +Both of you are more similar than you think. That's the reason why you both have argued so much. Now, she respects you to the point where she has grown fond of you. Not because of what you are, but because of who you are. And I believe that she has chosen you.+ I sighed.

Y/n: +Why is that?+

Kiba: +Because I have seen it.+ I looked at him with a small smile because he used that line. +She's doing everything she can to help Issei because he is her favorite pawn. But she hesitantly does it because she thinks of you. If you weren't around, she wouldn't hesitate. Also, she always talks about you in some sort of way. Where her voice and words become soft yet with admiration. With love.+

Y/n: +This won't change anything.+ He smiled.

Kiba: +But it left you thinking that it may be the opposite of what you believe. Like she has said, you are a part of us as much as we are a part of you. I believe, somewhere in the tiniest part of your heart, knows this as well. And somewhere, in your mind, knows that there was a point where she charmed you despite all the arguments.+

After that conversation and the time in the bath, I was lying on the bed while thinking about what Kiba told me. Rias has feelings for me because of how I was since the start. Genuine with my thoughts and actions, no bullshit about getting her as a prize, and always defending her as a person and not as a Devil princess. If she actually chose me, what would I do? Why did she choose me? In what point was when she actually charmed me? I quickly shook my head and smacked my own face with my hands. 'Damn you, Kiba!!!' I cursed in my head because he actually got me thinking about it. The door to my room opened, and Kala came in. She got on my bed and laid by my side while facing me.

Kala: "Hey, sweetheart." I smiled at her. "What's on your mind?"

Y/n: "Some stuff, but it's not important." She raised an eyebrow.

Kala: "It looks important. Given that you have a troubled expression." I looked up at the ceiling and sighed.

Y/n: "It's something Kiba told me, but I'll figure it out." She was going to say something, but the door to my room opened once again. We looked at the door and saw Novia looking at us.

Kala: "What has brought you here?" She sounded like she was daring her. Novia went to the other side of the bed, laid down, and held my arm.

Novia: "The bed is too big, so I'm sleeping with Y/n."

Kala: "You mean, I'M sleeping with him while you sleep with the pervert." I quickly sat up.

Y/n: "Nope! Both of you stop!" I looked between them. "I'm not going to be part of this tug-of-war cliché between two girls who is trying to earn my affection when they already have! So please, come to an agreement or something before it gets worse!"

Novia: "So, I've earned you affection when you said it would take time for it?" She sat up and hugged my arm with a small loving smile. Kala sat up and hugged my arm as well.

Kala: "You're no fun. Harem anime and fanfictions always have those types of things, and you quickly just throw them out of the window." I turned to her.

Y/n: "One, because it's annoying. It's funny but annoying. I don't want to be that dense character who is going to get hurt. Second, no point. In the end, they always choose to share because it's better than choosing one while the others get hurt. And THIRDLY," I was quiet for a minute because nothing came up, "I got nothing. And Novia," I turned to her, "you already knew that I have feelings for you, but it's going to take time for me to forgive you because of what happened." She nodded.

Novia: "I believe you already did. But, like I told you, I'm willing to wait." Then, they pulled me down on the bed. We just laid there in silence for a while. I didn't know what to say in this situation.

Kala: "Something is bothering you."

Y/n: "What do you mean?"

Novia: "You're very quiet. You're not trying to fall asleep either."

Y/n: "When I said to come to a consensus, I didn't mean to interrogate me while being good cop and bad cop." They giggled but became concerned again. "Aside from what Kiba said to me, I'm thinking of what's to come in the future."

Novia: "What did Kiba say?"

Y/n: "It's nothing important."

Kala: "It is if it's bothering you." I shook my head.

Y/n: "I'll figure something out. Don't worry about it."

Kala: "Is it about Rias' feelings for you?" I didn't respond, but it seems they knew because of some expression I made. "So, it is about Rias." I sighed.

Novia: "You knew about it." I nodded and sighed once more.

Y/n: "Right after the battle of Kokabiel. She confessed to having feelings for me and Hyoudou. I told her that she had to choose."

Novia: "She said she chose to take a break from it and not think of you in that regard."

Kala: "Which is a lie because it seemed that she already chose."

Y/n: "I believe that she chose Hyoudou. Kiba believes otherwise. He told me about it and gave a damn good reason to think about that. Bastard got me thinking about it."

Novia: "What was his reason to believe so?" I told them what he told me. This got them silent and thinking. "If that's the case, what're you going to do?" I shrugged.

Y/n: "I don't know. I'm just going to do whatever when it happens."

Kala: "And when was the time that she 'charmed' you?"

Y/n: "Hell, should I know? I rather not think about it because... because..." I sighed, and my body relaxed from being tense the whole time. "I don't know what to think anymore."

Kala: "Because you're confused about what you feel for her."

Y/n: "We both know where I stand with her. Just because Kiba said some good points about her feelings for me doesn't mean that I have feelings for her."

Novia: "But you had the most development." I looked at her confused.

Y/n: "What do you mean?"

Novia: "Akeno said that both of you had the most development. From being at each other's throats to being able to stand together without arguing."

Y/n: "That's true, but it doesn't mean that I have feelings for her."

Kala: "More like you respect her as a person." I turned to her. "You have been by her side to the point where you have seen her through her ups and downs. Saw how she has grown from being a spoiled brat to a more mature woman. She has her moments of being a brat, but not as much as before. It bothers you that what people say is true. That there's something going on between the both of you when you always denied it."

Y/n: "Since when did this become a psychological appointment!?"

Kala: "I'm serious, Y/n. If what Kiba said to you is bothering you is because you're having problems understanding your own feelings. Maybe accepting that you actually have feelings for her when you thought you didn't."

Y/n: "That's the thing! I never had feelings for her. Because all we did was argue about her always wanting me to deal with her problems when she could've done it herself."

Kala: "Then, it's your own fault. She has feelings for you because you always agreed to it and showed your true side, no matter the situation."

Y/n: "Thank you for reminding me that."

Kala: "I didn't mean it in a bad way."

Y/n: "Then, why tell me?"

Kala: "Because you're denying and rejecting her feelings when the source itself was the cause. That cause was you feeling sympathetic and empathetic towards her. Despite not showing them, not even acknowledging them, you still took action. You did the right thing for the right cause without even knowing as to why you did them. You have to accept and understand that. And it bothers you to the core for doing so." I looked up with a sighed. It really was my fault without even knowing about it. How could I accept it? I looked at Novia to see what her thoughts were in this, but she was asleep while holding me tight. I looked back at Kala. I was going to say something, but she put her finger on my lips. "Don't think about it right now. I understand that you have a lot in your mind, but it's something that you have to think through with time." She took her finger away and pecked my lips. "Think about it in the coming days. For now, rest." I sighed and nodded. She cuddled up a little more to me. "Rest well."

Y/n: "You too. And thanks."

Kala: "Always, sweetheart."

I looked up and kept thinking. I never had feelings for Rias. Not one bit. But the reasoning behind her own feelings towards me really brought more light to why she did. Now, with this new thought about me being the cause of it was something that got my head swirling with questions. Why did I agree to help her when she needed it the most? Sympathy and empathy were the cause, but why did I feel those when all I ever thought was that she was being selfish the whole time when she was taking care of her servants? I decided to cast those questions aside for another time because it's not right to overthink before going to sleep. I would come with the wrong conclusion and wouldn't be able to sleep. 'I hate my life... Bing bong.' I thought before sleep finally took over me.

A/n: A lot of questions, confessions, and overthinking. Seems like things are getting more and more interesting with the life of Devils and our little troubled Y/n. Let's hope things settle down for him... or will it.
