Y/n P.o.v

The reason I made the deal, was because she'll owe me. It's convenient when you have some sort of blackmail on a Devil. Things may turn quite fine if I bring up the payment. But, for getting a huge payment, means that Issei must be in real danger a lot of times. And since the Fallen Angels are after him on a daily basis, I might get what I want.

After Rias and I shook our hands, she gave Issei his first pact. It was Koneko's, but she had another pact at hand. They tried teleporting him to the house that he needed to go, but it failed. So, they sent him on a bike. 'Like, really? Where have you seen a Devil going on a bike?' I asked myself. After he left, I looked at Rias, and she nodded.

Right now, I was waiting on an alleyway, beside the bike that I used, that was close to the house that he was in. It's been minutes since he entered. So, I've been listening to music all this time while eyeing at the house.

Finally, Issei got out of the house. He was walking down the street, mumbling to himself. Then, the sky turned purple. 'Not again.' I thought. I took a peak and saw that there was a woman behind him.

I took off my headphones and put them on the bike. I got out of hiding and saw the light spear passing by. It almost hit me. I looked at the woman, she just made a new spear, and jumped ready to strike Issei. I ran towards them, jumped above Issei, and was delivering a punch.

Suddenly, a green light blinded me. I managed to punch the woman away, but the green light made something that ripped my shirt off and blew me away with the woman. That thing almost ripped my pants or they ripped, but not all of it.

I landed on the floor and looked up to the Fallen Angel who was looking at me. But... But... 'Kala?'

Kala was standing there, with her black feathered wings spreading, and some part of her clothes ripped. Her expression was the same as mine. Shocked. She blinked and came back to her senses. She flew away from where we were standing.

I, slowly, looked at the direction she went, and saw her figure getting smaller. My fists clenched out of instinct, and I was frustrated, confused, and... I don't know now.

Issei: "Dude, you ok!?" I turned to him. I took hold of his shirt and pulled him.

Y/n: "Did she gave you her name!? If she did, what was it!?" He seemed scared and confused.

Issei: "I-I think it was Kalawarner." I let go of him and looked at his left hand. A red small gauntlet with a green orb in the middle. His Sacred Gear. I looked at the direction she went, and she was out of sight. "Dude, why are you here?" I looked at him, then started walking where was my bike.

Y/n: "I was in the neighborhood." Issei followed. 'Damn it!'

============Timeskip============

We were at the school grounds, once again. 'Seriously, why the hell do this people work at night!? It interrupts my beauty sleep!?' I was leaning on the wall with my arms crossed, while Rias was explaining to Issei about his newly found power.

Me on the other hand, I was still thinking about seeing Kala or Kalawarner again. I mean, at first I was happy, but the feeling changed instantaneously. I was confused and surprised to actually see her, and the fact that she was a Fallen Angel put more frustration into my thoughts.

I saw Issei leaving, but not in the best moods. I looked at Rias and she was talking to Akeno, who seemed to be sad that Rias treated him so harsh.

Rias: "...I don't want him to overestimate himself. Plus, I'm not going to let those Fallen Angels harm my new favorite servant." She looked at me. "I want to thank you for keeping an eye on him."

Y/n: "Mjm."

Rias: "No sly remarks?" I glared at her.

Y/n: "Don't push it, princess. I'm just tired." I got off the wall. "I'm going home." I walked out of the office.

Rias P.o.v

Something felt off of him just now. Like he was thinking too much. Or is it that I got used to him saying sly remarks all the time?

Akeno: "He seemed thoughtful." Guess that I'm not the only one. "What do you think, president?"

Rias: "I believe the same thing. It's truly a shame that he didn't want to be a part of my peerage. But, I hope that he'll come around."

Akeno: "Will he? He seemed pretty confident on his decision."

Rias: "He did. But, no one never knows." I took out a piece of chess and put it on the table. I kept my eyes on it and played with it, twirling it around. "He would make a fine rook. What do you say, Koneko?" I looked at said girl. She nodded while having a chocolate on her mouth.

Akeno: "He sure has the willpower to be one."

Rias: "Indeed." My smile grew a little.

Y/n P.o.v

I arrived home. I saw that the living room had a light on. I went there and saw mother laying on the couch. 'She was waiting for me.' I thought while sighing. I took the blanket that was there, and covered her. I gave her a kiss on the forehead, and went to my room.

Once inside my room, I closed the door, but kept my eyes on the door.

Y/n: "So, you're a Fallen Angel." I stated. I turned around and looked at the person that was inside my room, standing beside my bed. Kalawarner.

Kalawarner: "And you're a Devil." Her outfit was revealing because her breast were ready to pop out, but her arms crossed didn't helped.

Y/n: "Not exactly."

Kalawarner: "Then, what are you?" She demanded. I scoffed.

Y/n: "And why should I tell you?" I slowly walked towards her.

Kalawarner: "Because if you don't I-"

Y/n: "You'll kill me?" I interrupted her and stopped on my tracks. "Right, you damn pigeons like to leave no witnesses and corpses on the streets."

Kalawarner: "That's not what I was going to say!"

Y/n: "Then what? Erase my memory? It won't work. That stuff doesn't-"

Kalawarner: "I know it doesn't!" I clenched my fist, ready to punch the wall. "I tried to erase your memory of me before." I was confused. Before? "But, you kept texting me, and that's when I got curious about you. 'A simple person, who doesn't have angelic or demonic energy, still remembers me.'"

Y/n: "So, you stayed to figure me out?" She nodded. "So, all this thing, about us being friends was just the front?" Her eyes widened. She was going to say something, but I didn't let her. "Of course it was. It's what your damn kind does. Played with our feelings so we can be vulnerable so you guys take the advantage."

Kalawarner: "It wasn't like that, Y/n!" She walked towards me and I backed away, not wanting her to touch me. "Believe me when I tell you, I was really being your friend. I grew fond of you and I stayed."

Y/n: "Then, why leave!?" I glared at her. "You left with no trace! A real friend wouldn't do that!"

Kalawarner: "Please, I can explain. I-"

Y/n: "Just leave." Her eyes widened.

Kalawarner: "Y/n, please. If you just let me-" I opened the drawer, pulled out a gun, and aimed it at her. She flinched and backed away.

I could feel my arm shaking, my anger within me, and the tears running down my cheeks.

Y/n: "Leave before I make new arrangements for decorations!" She backed away more. Then, decided to go through the window and flew away.

I stayed in the same position for a while. Then, I put the gun on the drawer again. I went to my bed and laid there. I curled into a ball, and let out silent sobs while tightening my grip on the pillow.

============Timeskip============

I was in the table with my breakfast at the table, but wasn't eating it. Father and Oren, came yesterday, but left earlier this morning. I couldn't even see them off. Mother was sitting in front of me, worried.

Mother: "Did something happened yesterday at the club?" I shrugged.

Y/n: "Not really. I haven't decided to join the club either."

Mother: "You're planning on joining them?" She had a wary expression.

Y/n: "The club, mom. Not the peerage. Rias Gremory wants me to join the club so I can keep and eye on Hyoudou."

Mother: "What for?"

Y/n: "Fallen Angels are after him because he carries a Sacred Gear. Seems like they are planning something." Mother didn't say anything, just gave a thought to it.

I hadn't caught a good sleep last night. I was trying to take Kala out of my head, but the wounds grew deep.

Mother: "Any word from Kala?" Like if she was reading my mind. The hell!? "You saw her, didn't you?" I looked at her and she seemed to have read my expression. So, I gave her the downside.

Y/n: "She's a Fallen Angel. I rather not deal with them."

Mother: "You're such a baby." My eyes widened.

Y/n: "Why do you say that!?"

Mother: "Because you're being ignorant! I have a feeling that you aimed a gun at her and told her to be on her way." I made an expression that said: 'You got that right.' She sighed. "Did she even explained why she left?"

Y/n: "Not really." She glared at me. "I didn't let her."

Mother: "For some stuff, you're a mature young adult. But for others, you're such an ignorant baby!" Eh, she wasn't wrong on that. "Next time, let her explain, because it seemed like she was for real on this."

Y/n: "How do you know if she is being real or-"

Mother: "She came before you came home." My eyes widened. "And believe me, I put her in her place before she left." I sighed and looked away. "So, when you meet her again, let her talk. I'm pretty sure you'll come around once you listen to her." I sighed once again.

============Timeskip============

As usual, nothing fun happened in school, just looking at the teacher doing her job, and writing down on my notebook. But, most of the time, my mind was always on Kala. On what to do with her when I meet her again, whenever that happens.

After school, I was going to leave the school grounds, but received an unknown call.

Y/n: "Hello."

???: *Y/n? This is Rias.* I raised an eyebrow.

Y/n: "How did you get my phone number?"

Rias: *I asked around. I have to ask you to meet us at the school entrance.*

Y/n: "I'm already here, Rias. What the hell you want?"

Rias: *It's something that I wish to show you and Issei.* I raised an eyebrow. "*Because I want you to see how we operate.*" The voice came from the phone and behind me. I turned around, and there I saw the ORC. I put away my phone.

Y/n: "What do you mean 'how you operate'?"

Rias: "Follow us and you'll see." She walked past me. I let the others past me as well, and I followed.

We were arriving at this abandoned building and it was already getting dark. 'I just wanted to go home and play some game.' I whined.

Once we entered, the stench of rotten something just slapped my face. Then, Rias started explaining something about chess. Saying that higher and nobel ranking Devils had this pieces and that are granted to their servants, depending on their characteristics and attributes. Rias, being the master, she was the King, meaning that the rest of her peerage were chess pieces as well. They call them Evil Pieces.

Koneko: "It's here."

Suddenly, a female voice came from the dark. She was describing something that smelled foul, but delicious at the same time. Then, from the shadows, and a few feet above, a naked woman appeared.

Issei: "O-OPPAIS!!!" Of course Issei would say something like that.

Rias started talking to the Stray, as they call it, which they go against their master's wishes and follow their own desire, saying quite a mouthful about how she betrayed her master to follow her own desire. And that she will be eliminated.

The Stray wasn't even bothered by it, and started to play with her breasts saying that Rias was jealous that she didn't had huge breasts like her.

Out of instinct, I looked at Rias' breast and then hers.

Y/n: "To be more precise, Rias has bigger breasts than you just by mere inches." They all looked at me.

Issei: "Dude, how can you tell!?" I smirked at him.

Y/n: "Your friend is not the only one that has measurement eyes."

Suddenly, her other half of the body showed, and they were totally monstrous. Another body, with bigger arms, bigger legs, and snakes as her tail. They really become hideous, but giving the thought of it, the other half doesn't seem bad.

Then, her nipples popped out? 'The hell!?' I tilted my head to the side. Then, her nipples started shooting some yellow stuff. I jumped away and avoided them. They hit the wall, and it melted.

Y/n: "Now, that's a milk I don't want to drink." I stated in all truthfulness.

Rias: "...Kiba!" I looked at Kiba and he disappeared. No, he moved fast. Faster than the human eye can see.

Rias explained that Kiba was actually a Knight. Giving him speed and acceleration. His main weapon, the sword. 'A knight with a sword. That's pretty cliche.' I thought.

Kiba cut the Stray's arms. Koneko walked towards her and stopped right in front of her. The Stray was very pissed that her whole face changed into something ugly. Road killing ugly. And her stomach, the other stomach opened and showed teeth.

Koneko was eaten. My eyes widened and I was about to run to get her out, but Rias said not to worry. Then, her stomach opened, revealing Koneko ok, but her clothes weren't.

Rias explained that Koneko was a Rook. And her attributes is strength. Meaning that she would give quite a punch if you piss her off. 'Glad that I'm on Koneko's good side.' Koneko then punched the Stray away.

I saw something twitching. I looked down and saw that her arms were twitching, then it jumped towards me. I just took hold of it with a single hand.

Issei: "Y/n!" I just smashed it against the floor and threw it towards a pillar. "Woah dude. You just single handedly defeated that thing. Literally."

Y/n: "It's nothing."

Then, it was Akeno's turn. Now, Akeno was really excited for this one. Rias said that Akeno was the Queen. A combination of all other pieces making it the perfect piece of the game.

Akeno used her lightning powers again. Her power was dark magic. And what's worse... Or good for me maybe, she's into pain. Like, she gets excited while inflicting pain on others. 'Reminds me of Esdeath in one of the books I've read.' I thought.

Rias said that it was enough, and Akeno stopped. Rias walked towards the Stray, gave her a last chance for last words. Then, she eliminated the Stray. Her power was beyond anything I've seen.

Rias: "...Let's go home."

Issei: "Hey, what about me? Am I a Knight or something cool?"

Rias: "You're a Pawn."

...

Pfft.

I turned away and tried to hold my laughter. 'Damn. That was funnier than what I was expecting.' I though while holding my hand over my mouth.

Issei: "And what about Y/n?" I turned around and was going to answer, but Rias beat me to it.

Rias: "He isn't a Devil. His just a member of the club."

Y/n: "Now, wait a second!" She turned to me. "I've never agreed on being part of your club. I said that I would give it a thought."

Rias: "That's right. Considering all you've witnessed and the favors that I've asked."

Y/n: "That doesn't have to do with anything."

Rias: "Oh, that reminds me." She turned to Issei. "Issei, you've got the pact that I told you earlier."

Issei: "Oh. That's right. I've gotta go. See y'all later." With that, he took off and left me with the club.

Y/n: "Why do you want me so badly in your peerage?" I had to ask because the last time I asked, she never gave me a straight answer. Or was it about the club? Whatever.

Rias: "Alright, I'll be frank with you." She looked at me with seriousness. "Because of your willpower to keep fighting that I saw the other night, your immunity to simple magical powers, the fact that I still can't believe that your arms are prosthetic, your bravery, and your strength. Issei told me how you've handled with the Fallen Angel last night. So, I'm eager to have you by my side as a Rook." I scoffed.

Y/n: "I knew it. I f..." I didn't say it. "...you're just after me because of power. You're just like every normal demon. Selfish and wants power. This gives me more reason to not join your damned club." I went to her and stood straight to her face, even though I had to look up a little. "You're even worse than the Fallen Angels." I walked past her while bumping her arm, and started following Issei. 'This damned demons.'

Rias P.o.v

After he bumped me, I stood there for a few seconds, until he was gone.

Kiba: "President, are you ok?" I nodded.

Rias: "Can you and Koneko start heading to the club?" He nodded, and they both left.

Akeno: "You know, instead of giving him more reason to be away from us, you could've told him what's really going on."

Rias: "I don't want him to join me out of pity. He has to come at me out of his free will."

Akeno: "By pushing him away even further? That's not the best way to do it." I sighed.

Rias: "I know." I turned around and started walking. "But, what's done is done. Let's head back."

Akeno: "You're way too proud about this. You should change your tactics with him and be more open."

Rias: "Either way, he won't change his mind about our kind. He's too stubborn about it."

Akeno: "Look who's talking about being stubborn.~" I gave her a glare, but out of embarrassment.

Y/n P.o.v

Damn Gremory. I'm so glad that she revealed her intentions with me. All the more reasons to be away from her and her peerage and her damned club. And here I am, still doing her favor. She'll owe me real big, and I can't wait for the payment. Whatever may be, I hope that it's worth all my trouble.

I stopped thinking and focused on the gunshot that just came from a house. 'What the hell?' I thought. I slowly took steps towards the house that the gunshot came from. But when I arrived, I heard screaming from a girl. Then, the voice of Issei came, trying to defend the girl that was there. I took a few steps back, ran towards the house, and jumped through the window and landed on a puddle of something. It was blood. I looked up and saw Issei on his knees with a hole on his leg, a male priest that had a light sword and a gun, and a nun.

Priest: "My my, what do we have here? Another Devil that came to the rescue?"

Issei: "Y/n."

Y/n: "What have you done to him?"

Priest: "Oh, I was in the middle of exorcising him when this newbie came by and you came through the window. But now I'm excited! Another Devil to exorcise!" He stuck out his tongue and aimed the gun at me. He pulled the trigger, and I put my right arm up. Once the bullet connected, it hit metal and bounced off. I took a peak at the priest and glared at him.

Y/n: "For a priest, you're quite the freak."

Priest: "Oh my. Did I made the pussy turn into a bitch? I'm sorry, maybe I should shove this rod down your throat!"

He charged at me and swung his sword down. I made an X with my arms up, and blocked his attack.

Y/n: "You speak like you've got a cock in your mouth, punk." I pushed up the sword, took hold of his shirt, pulled him... "Let's shove it even more!" ...and head butted him. He stumbled back. Without hesitation, I swung a left hook to his jaw, making him stumble over the couch.

I crouched down to Issei and checked for his wounds. 'Damn it. I should've been here sooner!' I thought. The nun came to his side. I was about to stop her, but Issei stopped me.

Issei: "She's a friend."

Nun: "Oh Issei, I'm so sorry that this happened."

Issei: "It's not your fault, Asia. I'm sorry that I lied to you about me been a Devil."

Asia: "It's alright."

Priest: "Ugghhh! All this warm reunion really is giving me the creeps!" I stood up and turned around, protecting Issei and Asia. "Time to die, Devils!!!"

He swung again. I blocked it and pushed it away, but he managed to shoot me on the shoulder. With the momentum, I swung my leg and kicked his side. Making him go a few feet away from us.

Then, a red circle appear in front of me. The priest was going to swing again, but Kiba came into view and blocked his attack.

Kiba: "Sorry we're late."

Issei: "Kiba!" Then, all the others in the club appeared.

The priest kept on talking about the Devils being over their head and stuff. Akeno was sort of surprise and turned on about him. 'Ew.' Rias then sent a magic attack, but he evaded it.

Rias: "...Nobody hurts my servants."

Issei: "President."

Priest: "Look who's finally decided to show her tits. Don't get your hopes up, I already hurt them!"

She turned to Issei and crouch to him. She was really worried about him and said that it was her fault for sending him here.

Y/n: "Like if you'd knew there was a maniac priest in this house. It's not your fault." She stood up and check on my shoulder.

Rias: "How is your shoulder?"

Y/n: "With a bloody hole as you can see. Nothing that I can't manage." She looked sad and down about it.

Rias: "I'm really sorry, Y/n. I should've come with you." I was so confused at the moment. 'Why would you want to come with me in the first place?' I asked myself. "There was a barrier in place until a moment ago."

The priest aimed the gun at Asia. I stood in front of her while using my arms as shields.

Priest: "You were suppose to put the barrier up, you useless bitch!"

Y/n: "You should've done it yourself, you lowly piece of shit!" We all stood ready to defeat this lowly priest.

Priest: "That's a lot of people. I might need some back up."

Koneko: "Fallen Angels are here." I looked at her and she had the couch over her head.

Priest: "Hahaha, just in time for the party! Hope you're hungry, because light spear is on the menu."

Akeno: "What's the plan?"

Rias: "We need to get Issei and Y/n out of here. Akeno prepare to jump. Koneko, make sure we have Issei." Koneko threw the couch to the priest.

Akeno: "But, what about Y/n? He can't make the jump with us!"

Y/n: "You guys go ahead, I'll hold the fort here."

Rias: "No, you're not. Kiba, take him and run out of here. We'll see you at the club room." The magic circle was made and everybody except Kiba wasn't in it.

Issei was worried for Asia and wanted her to come with, but she wasn't a member of the peerage. Neither was I.

Kiba was going to grab me, but I did a reverse on him and pushed him to the magic circle, making him fall. He could've used his speed, but it was already too late, and the magic was already taking them away.

Kiba: "Y/N! NO!" They jumped.

A/n: Trying to be a hero, eh? Let's admit it, we all are better villains than heroes. Because heroes are always left hanging, right? Ok, I'll stop.
