Y/n P.o.v

After the small argument with Rias, she gave a small speech about not letting anybody die in this battle, that she was counting on Issei, and that she wants to win this so we can keep going to school. Akeno was giving me a look during that. It was a look of admiration or sexual or something. It kinda felt uncomfortable. At the end of the speech, Rias turned to me with a concerned yet determined look.

Rias: "You have a choice in the matter, Y/n." I tilted my head in confusion. "You can come and fight with us against Kokabiel, or you can stay back with Sona and help her with the barrier." I scoffed.

Y/n: "You, pushing me away to not fight for your convenience? That's a first." She opened her mouth to say something, but I continued. "Listen, I'm not doing this for you. I want to kick that pigeon's ass as much as you do. And if Freed is behind this, the more reason to do so." She nodded. "They hurt Rina, and we don't know what happened to Kiba and Novia. So, I'm going to fight." She smiled with a determined look just like the others.

Rias: "Then, shall we?" I nodded and clashed my fist together.

Y/n: "Let's." We headed outside of the building to see some sort of golden spiral in the middle of the school. "The hell is that?"

???: "It seems like the four Excaliburs have been made into one. That is so Valper." A rough male voice came from above us. I turned and saw a small throne like chair on top of a pedestal like ground floating in the air, and on that throne was the Fallen Angel, Kokabiel with long black hair and black attire. "So, is Big Brother coming yet? Or is it Serafall instead?"

Rias: "At this moment, the only opponents you'll be facing is us. That is all that matters."

Kokabiel snapped his fingers, and a Light Spear appeared. Then, he threw it to a building. Seconds later, the gym exploded, sending a massive gust of wind towards us. We stumbled back. Looking up, the massive yellow Light Spear with three purple rings surrounding the shaft. Then, it disappeared.

Y/n: "That's a nice trick!" I stood up and looked at Kokabiel. "Have you been practicing for the Olympics?" His attention turned to me. His head was slightly tilted to the side.

Kokabiel: "Oh? And who might you be?" I lifted my hand in greeting.

Y/n: "Hi, I'm Y/n."

Issei: "Did he just say 'Hi, I'm Y/n'?"

Y/n: "And I'll be the one that will take your wings and make me some fried chicken wings."

Kokabiel: "Hmm?" He said with a smile. "You seem to have an interesting taste of company, Gremory. Having a human fight for you. A strong one, at that." My eyes widened. He knew I was a human, and without assuming I was a Devil. "And since you've brought a little pet," my eyebrow twitched dangerously, and a couple of veins popped, "I'm going to bring out mine." A light came from underneath him and went to the ground. A column of flames burst, and from it came out Cerberus. But not just one, a couple of them.

Y/n: "Awww! You brought puppies!!!" I was fawning over them. "Can I keep one!?"

Rias: "Y/n, they are forbidden to be brought here, so we have to send them back!" I looked at her with puppy eyes. "Akeno, Koneko." Both of them agreed and went straight to fight them. I pouted at that.

Asia: "How are we going to send something like that back?"

Y/n: "Those aren't the real thing." She turned to me. "Those are descendants of the real Cerberus. If the real one was here, we might as well call this place the Underworld." I took out my pistols.

I leaned forward and dashed to one while firing a couple of bullets to it. It looked at me, and the middle head went to bite me. I jumped over it, shot two bullets to the other head before they bit me, then shot a couple of rounds to the middle one over its head. The bullets didn't pierce, but the impact was on it was a little dull. I landed on its back. Suddenly, it started to jump and move side to side like a bull would do with a rider on top. I held myself as tight as I could by grabbing its fur.

Y/n: "Yee to the fucking haw, mother-WHOA!!!" I was sent off the back and landed on the ground on my back. I groan. "That's why I don't do rodeo." The dog went to bite me, but I rolled over away from it. Quickly stood up and delivered a punch its eye. After that, I jumped away because the other head was going to bite me. All three head stood tall and glared at me. "Come on little puppy," I clapped both of my hands and pistols, "I'll take you for a walk! Come on!" It roared and spew fire at me. I jumped high, concentrated on sending power to my pistols, once charged, I shot both of them, and they hit on one eye of the side heads. "And that's what I call a bullseye!" I landed and reloaded.

Issei: "Do you have to make a joke every time you fight!?" I looked to the side and saw Issei running away from a another dog.

Y/n: "Where's your sense of adventure!?" Before I could even hear an answer, I was hit with a paw and sent away. Once I stopped sliding, I shook my head and looked up at the dog with three good eyes growling at me. "Three head with three eyes. Heh. I should start calling you Cerberclops." I growled even louder. "Get it? A head with one eye like a Cyclops, no?" It roared once more. It was going to bite me, but its head was cut off and then half of its body. It fell down, then disappeared.

???: "Taunting your enemies to make them reckless on their attacks?" I looked at my savior, and it was none other than Novia. "You haven't changed at all." She offered me her hand. I took it and stood up.

Y/n: "A lot of things hasn't changed. Like you saving me from a deadly blow." She smirked and nodded. "Rina is injured, and I wasn't there to help her."

Novia: "You had other business to attend to. There was no way of you knowing this would've happened." She assured me like she always did. Trying to make sure that I didn't blame myself for something I couldn't control. We looked at the others and saw that Issei transferred powers to Akeno and Rias. "Nice work. I hadn't realized you had the power to do so, Issei." She said in admiration. Then, Akeno and Rias delivered a powerful strike to one of the dogs.

Y/n: "There's more of them, but I'm pretty sure we can take care of them real quick. If we do our special move." She flinched.

Novia: "That is a disgraceful attack."

Y/n: "Yet, it's powerful. Besides, your using a Holy Sword with powers. Taking advantage of it. What's the difference?" She didn't say anything. One of the dogs was impaled by a couple of swords that came from he ground, then attacked by Rias and Akeno. 'Kiba is here.' I thought, knowing that it was his doing. I turned to Novia. "Ready?" I held my pistols together in front of me in a praying manner, and Novia took hold of her sword in front of her, facing upwards.

Novia: "Ready." We both closed our eyes.

Novia/Y/n: "+For the grace, for the might of our lord. We will die for our salvation with dedication. For the faith, for the way of the sword. No capitulation, only annihilation. For the home of the holy. Heaven is our destination.+" I felt myself becoming stronger and blessed. It was wrong using it, but it was for the right reasons. "+In the name of his glory.+" We opened our eyes. "+In the name of God!+" I put my left arm vertically in front of me, and my right arm horizontally behind my left arm, creating a cross. Novia stuck her index and middle finger out and put them horizontally on the sword, also creating a cross. "+AMEN!!!+" A bright white light surrounded us.

We dashed forward to the remainder of the Cerberus dogs. Two of them turned to us, and we chose to take one each. I jumped while shooting at the two heads on the side, destroying them. Dodged the middle head, landed on its nape, aimed and shot it. I saw Novia finishing the other by cutting their heads. We turned to the final one, then back at each other, and nodded. We jumped to each other and did our signature attack. Connected our feet while in a crouching position in mid-air. She was facing the dog while having her sword horizontal to her, and I was facing the sky while aiming my pistols in a spiral manner.

Novia/Y/n: "HOLY," I pulled the triggers, and we spun with speed and force. "CANNON!!!" Pushed her with my legs while she expulsed herself and spun towards the dog. And like drill, she went threw the middle head, in its body, and out, killing the final dog. I landed with my guns to my side in a 'spreading my wings' manner. With a satisfying thud, I stood up and looked at the dead Cerberus while it disappeared. Novia looked at me and nodded. I nodded back.

Issei: "Holy shit, guys! That was amazing!" He was running towards me, but I stopped him.

Y/n: "Any closer, and you might die by only standing beside me." He quickly stopped and looked at me confused.

Kokabiel: "Even I can feel your Holy Powers." I looked up at him and glared. "It's fascinating. If I didn't know any better, I would've confused you with an Angel. To think that you were hiding someone like this within your peerage, Gremory."

Rias: "SHUT UP!!!" She sent a massive magic attack, but he sent away with a flick of his wrist, destroying the basketball and tennis court.

Kokabiel: "Well, well. Look how strong you've become for having the power of the Red Dragon Emperor inside you." I wanted to say 'that's what she said', but he did that on purpose. It's no fun when they say stuff like that on purpose.

???: "It is complete!" An old man said who was doing some sort of conjuring magic or something. where the yellow spiral light was. "It is finally done!!!" The light disappeared, and it showed a large yellow sword.

Kokabiel: "Now, with the combination of all swords, I will have the power to finish what I started."

Issei: "Is that the sword that is going to wipe out the whole town?" My eyes widened. I didn't know that was Kokabiel's plan. But, there was something else that he wanted. He wouldn't just stop in the town.

Valper: "You better leave soon. This place is going to be destroyed in less than twenty minutes."

Kokabiel: "And to save your precious town, you'll have to go through me." His throne disappeared, and his ten wings appeared behind him. "Ready, Rias Gremory!?"

Rias: "I'm ready!"

She delivered another magic attack, but he took hold of it and created a sphere. Akeno used her lightning attack, but like Rias, he took hold of it and made another sphere. He combined them, creating a huge and powerful sphere of immense power. Then, he delivered it to Rias. Akeno got in front, creating a magic circle shield, but the impact was too great that it destroyed it and harmed both. Akeno was falling. I dashed towards her in lighting speed, caught her, and landed while holding her bridal style.

Y/n: "Are you alright!?" I looked at her and noticed that her left breast was exposed. I felt my face heat up and looked at her face before she realized. She looked up at me and nodded while blushing.

Akeno: "I'm fine, Y/n. Thank you." My eyes widened because my Holy Powers was still in effect. I quickly lowered her and backed away from her.

Y/n: "I'm sorry! My powers are still on, and I may have weakened you in some way." She looked confused, then realized what I meant. The funny thing was that she wasn't affected by it. She seemed fine.

Akeno: "It's alright." She turned away with a little saddened face and a small blush. "Something like that wouldn't affect me much." I wanted to ask, but it seemed like a touchy subject. I got closer to her while taking off my jacket. I put it over her upper body. She seemed surprised and looked up at me. I smiled, turned to Kokabiel and Valper, and walked towards them.

Kokabiel: "Oh? Did I strike a nerve?" I cracked my metallic knuckles and neck.

Y/n: "No. I just don't like men abusing women like if it they were their plaything."

Akeno P.o.v

Issei: "Akeno, are you ok?" He kneeled beside me while Asia was using her healing magic on me.

I was still looking at Y/n with surprise and wonder. My heart skipped a beat when he put his jacket on me. Such a manner, a gentlemanly manner, that isn't seen much in this time. And he is standing in front of me, blocking Kokabiel's path from me, protecting me from any more attacks. Just looking at this gesture, my heart skipped beat once again.

I once said that I was interested in both Y/n and Issei, but I'm at a crossroads. My mind is headed to one, and my heart is headed to the other. 'I like this love triangle. It's exciting.'

Y/n P.o.v

I stopped myself and saw Kiba heading to Valper.

Kiba: "Valper Galilei, I'm a survivor of the Holy Sword Project or more accurately of those you killed. I've been able to live on by being reborn as a Devil. I could not die. I needed to avenge the deaths of my comrades!" He charged at Valper. Rias called out to him. I went after him to stop him, but an explosion occurred where he was, sending me back a few feet. I looked up and saw him lying on the floor.

Kokabiel: "You were able to avoid a direct attack!? You're a quick little rat. Freed!"

Freed: "You called!?" He popped out of nowhere beside Valper.

Issei: "You!"

Freed: "ME!"

Kokabiel: "Let's finish this with our last show, shall we? Use the Excalibur with the power of the four swords to get rid of the debris."

Freed: "Yes, sir! You see this bad boy!? He picked up the sword. "It has a tremendous amount of trick up its hilt, so I suggest for you to give up so I can finish you off with just a single slice. What da ya say, filthy Devils!?" I smirked.

Y/n: "You keep forgetting something, Freed." He turned to me. "I'm no Devil." I punched my fist together. Novia landed beside me.

Novia: "We're just simple humans!" We both dashed towards him with her swords forward and my arms back. We both delivered our attacks, but he disappeared.

Freed: "SAY HELLO TO THE CHOPPER RAPIDLY!!!" He appeared behind us and swung. Novia blocked, I punched his abdomen, and she kicked under his chin.

Y/n: "Your biggest mistake is that you have a huge mouth." We stood ready.

Freed: "Bastards! How dare you touch my beautiful face!? I will tear you both apart." His sword extended towards us, and we jumped away. "There's more!" He lifted it, separated like string cheese, and came at us. I made some evasive maneuvers while not getting cut. It retracted. "It's a nightmare!" He duplicated himself. I was back to back with Novia while facing the multiple of him around us and took my pistols out. "This is the power of the Excalibur Nightmare! Now, transparency!" The sword became invisible.

They charged at us. I jumped over Novia while flipping and spinning while shooting at every one of them. They blocked and evaded with a scared yet excited face, making him lose concentration for them to become one again, giving Novia the opportunity to attack him, and I followed behind her. They collided in a constant swing and block, but they locked swords, giving me the chance to deliver a kick to his face and send him back.

Y/n: "A one-on-one would've been a good chance to show off. But that's not happening." I aim my gun at him and felt that the Holy Powers were leaving, but my attention was taken to Kiba, who was trying to stand up, but stayed on his knees.

Valper: "I've heard about you. They said that one of the subjects had escaped. But to become a lowly Devil is such a tragic end." He was standing in front of Kiba. "I'm grateful to all of you. With your sacrifice, I was able to complete the project. The subject did not have the particular gene to use the Holy Swords. After realizing that, all I had to do was take out the gene from those kids that had them." He took out a small blue diamond shape crystal from his robes. "Then, we succeeded in crystalizing them. This contains the genes from those children in their crystalized form, and it's the last one." My eyes widened and hated the fact that Kiba and his comrades had to endure such stuff only to become a crystalized object. Freed laughed hysterically.

Freed: "The other guys that took it died halfway in because their bodies couldn't take all the genes!" He swung at us, but I locked with him with my arms. "If you think about it, you're lucky to be fighting a one of a kind guy!"

Y/n: "NNNGH!!!" I broke the lock, punched his abdomen, then his face. "ARRRRRRGH!"

Valper: "Those hypocrites! After excommunicating me as a pagan, they shamelessly use my research. Of course, we're talking about Michael. Even if he took genes out of the subjects, I'm sure he didn't kill them."

Kiba: "There was no need to kill us either. Why?"

Valper: "You all were nothing more than the materials used in a top secret project. Once we were done, there was nothing left to do but dispose of you." I really hated the guy, and I was so eager to put bullets in his eyes.

Kiba: "We believed it was for God and bore it the whole time. And then... we were... disposed like trash." I felt goosebumps and clenched my fist in sadness for Kiba. He went through so much at a young age that no kid deserved to go through. My throat clenched to hold back a sob and my fist. Valper threw the shard to Kiba.

Valper: "If you want it, take it. We've already gotten to the point where we can mass-produce higher quality ones." Kiba knelt, took it, and looked at it. Then, he held it close to himself.

Issei: "VALPER GALILEI!!! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!!!"

Kiba: "How many lives did you have to take for the sake of your goddamn research!?" His hand started to glow, then his surroundings did too, creating shapes of human.

Akeno: "It may be the different powers from the battlefield combining and the trembling of Yuuto's heart that have freed the souls from the crystal." Then, the form of teenagers and children were beside him. My tears were threatening to fall. To think that this whole situation was causing those poor souls to be freed and surround their only survivor and friend.

Kiba: "I prayed and wondered why was I the only one to survive? It wasn't fair that only I had the chance to escape. There were kids who had bigger dreams than I did. Kids that wanted to live more than I did. I always believed that somebody, better than me, should've been the one to survive and live a peaceful life." He opened his eyes wide and realized that he was surrounded by his past friends. A small girl lightly pulled on his sleeve, catching his attention. He looked at her, and she was smiling at him. They disappeared into tiny blue speckles and surrounded him, appearing like ghosts.

Teenage girl 1: "It's ok." Her words had a small echo.

Teenage girl 2: "Let's all gather together."

Teenage boy 1: "Take us in."

Little girl: "You don't have to be scared, even if there is no God." I flinched at what she said. But, I didn't give thought to it.

Teenage girl 3: "Even if God isn't watching over us."

Teenage boy 2: "Our hearts will always be one."

Kiba seemed content and accepted their words. Then, they disappeared, and Kiba had a blue aura. Tears finally rolled down my cheeks, and I was smiling at the scene. Then, once the color surrounding him disappeared, I felt it. His determination, his power, has grown immensely. He looked at Valper with determination, no trace of revenge.

Kiba: "My comrades didn't want me to wish for revenge. They wanted me free. But I will not be free until the evil in front of me is disposed of so that no other kids have to suffer the same way as we did." He made a sword appear and took it while aiming it at Valper.

Valper: "FREED!"

Freed: "Coming!" I wiped away my tears and looked at them. 'Cowards!' I thought.

Valper: "You should've died with the rest of them." I stood beside Kiba with guns out.

Issei: "Kiba! Kick Valper and Freed's ass and destroy that Excalibur. No point in wasting your friends' feelings and their souls!"

Rias: "You can do it, Yuuto. You are part of the House of Rias Gremory. No Knight of mine would lose to something like an Excalibur."

Akeno: "I believe in you, Yuuto."

Koneko: "I want to see blood."

Asia: "Kiba!" He looked at them with shock.

Y/n: "Took the words out of my mouth." He turned to me in surprise, like he didn't think I was there. I smirked and offered him my fist. "Let's show them who are the Dark and White Prince of Kuoh Academy." He cringed and smiled at the same time. Then, he fist bumped me.

Freed: "Ew, another moving scene from the House of No Gag Reflex Gremory." We turned to Freed with a glare. "All this shit is making my skin crawl, and I can't take it! I need to hurry up and kill you all! Yes, that would make me feel better!"

Y/n: "This guy needs a ball gag on his mouth."

Kiba: "Indeed. It's time for a new sword." He said very casually. I looked at him with interest, and he lifted his sword. "Comrades whose souls have merged with mine, let's overcome this together. All our dreams that have been taken away can become fulfilled." White and black light started to surround his sword. I felt the power, not just outside, but inside of me, some sort of connection to it. "I'll make a sword for the President and all my friends. SWORD BIRTH!!!" The light and dark powers merged together onto the sword. My heart gave a strong beat, and my hand went over my chest. "The Sword of Betrayer, a sword fused with both Holy and Devil powers. Stop it if you can!" The center of his sword started to make some sort of red runes. My eyes widened. Holy and Devil powers combined in one, a Yin and Yang, working together, as it should.

Valper: "A Holy Devil sword? That's impossible. For opposing elements to mix together like that is something that can not be done!"

Novia: "Knight of Gremory," she was on the other side of him, "are we still on the same side?"

Kiba: "I'd like to think so."

Novia: "Then let us destroy that Excalibur. The three of us." She gave me a side look, I nodded and turned to Freed.

Kiba: "Is that ok with you?"

Novia: "Even though we are looking at a Holy Sword, it has lost its holiness moments ago. It is being misused."

Kiba: "Then, I agree." She stabbed her sword to the ground and extended her other hand to the side.

Novia: "Peter, Basilius, Dionysius, and the Blessed Virgin Mary, please hear my prayers!" An angelic magic circle appeared, then a hilt started to move towards her. Then, a huge blue sword with chains wrapped around it came into view. She started to reach the hilt. "In the name of the saint living in this blade, I set you free!" She took hold of it, and the chains broke away. She pulled it out and aimed it at Freed. "Holy Sword Durandal!" I scoffed.

Kiba: "Durandal!?"

Y/n: "Finally, took the bad boy for a spin, huh?" Kiba turned to me with wide eyes. "I've always wanted to know how to wield it, but the priests at the church forbid me to ever touch anything Holy." I said with a little disappointment.

Valper: "That's impossible. My research didn't go into how to use Durandal. You're not supposed to wield that sword."

Y/n: "Just for FYI, Valpy, Novia here is a few natural ones. In other words, she is perfectly suitable to wield any Holy Swords-"

Valper: "A true Holy Sword user!" I aimed my gun at him with annoyance. He just interrupted me and finished my sentence, and I hate it when people take my spotlight for epicness.

Novia: "This baby cuts everything it touches. He never listens to me, either. Besides that, he's infinitely dangerous if he's not shut up in another space."

Freed: "That's bullshit!" He made his sword attack her, but she parried it. Then, they separated and attacked her, but she cut them down with one swing. "Damn, I wanted a plot twist!" She jumped towards him with sword raised. Me and Kiba dashed around them.

Novia: "Yours is just a broken Holy Sword. It's no match for my Durandal!" She swung to him.

Freed: "Suck my cock!" My eyebrow furiously twitched. He disappeared. "That kind of character trait is unnecessary!" Kiba appeared behind him.

Kiba: "That sword," they started to swing at each other at high speed, "isn't enough to sever our hopes!" Kiba cut Freed's sword.

Freed: "My sword!" Then, Kiba double kicked him towards me. Freed turned to me with wide eyes. I pulled my fist back.

Y/n: "And don't you dare use those words to Mi Novia again, cabrón!" I gave a good concentrated magic hook to his face, making a couple of teeth fall out and knocking him out. I swung my arm down, so that the blood got off. I looked at Novia, and she had a small blush. I smirked, but it was taken away when Valpy talked.

Valper: "How is this possible?" I turned to him. "In theory, the fusion of Holy and Devil powers is-" Kiba turned to him with sword aimed.

Kiba: "Prepare yourself, Valper Galilei." Valpy smiled widely.

Valper: "That's right. I get it now! If the balance between the Holy and Devil power is disrupted, it could be possible. Which means that the rumor of God being able to- ah." He gasped at the last point because a Light Spear was stabbed on his back by Kokabiel. 'Man, I wanted to kill the bastard!' I thought with annoyance. Valpy's body then disappeared alongside with the spear.

Kokabiel: "Oh, Valper, you really were talented. Unfortunately, you weren't suppose to figure out those two little inconvenience." I looked at him who was descending to almost our level.

Rias: "What are trying to pull off here?"

Kokabiel: "I don't care if this guy is around or not." I was confused at what he said. "Now, I'm even bored of the diversions. Wielder of the Red Dragon!"

Issei: "What do you want!?"

Kokabiel: "Raise the Dragon's power up as much as you can and transfer it to someone. And if you want to amuse me more and quench my boredom, I advise to transfer it to Rias Gremory and to your Holy Human." My eyes widened. His eyes looked at me with amusement and wonder. "I am fascinated to see what more is this 'simple human' is capable of." His eyes looked above us, raised his hand, and took hold of golden light spear. Then, it disappeared. "Oh?" His smile widened. Suddenly, someone landed beside me and their wings retracted. I looked and saw Kala beside me while glaring at Kokabiel and holding another light spear. "The traitor finally spreads her wing to face her judgement. How interesting." I glared back at Kokabiel whose smile was one of an insane murderer.
