On the western side of Japan, there was a town that was known for its mouthwatering sushi restaurants, fine wine, and women. The red-light district was a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, and it offered a wide variety of entertainment options. However, the town was also known for its violence. The yakuza, or Japanese mafia, had a strong presence in the town, and they were known for their brutality.
One of the most infamous yakuza clans in the town was the Saejima Clan. The clan was led by Yamada Katsuragi, a man who was rumored to be a devil. Katsuragi was a ruthless and powerful man, and he ruled the town with an iron fist.
For many years, the town had been protected by a living legend. This legend was a powerful warrior who fought tooth and nail to keep the town safe from the yakuza. However, the legend eventually disappeared, and the town was left vulnerable.
In the wake of the legend's disappearance, a new hero emerged. This hero was a once-washed-up punk who had worked his way up to the top. He was a skilled fighter, and he was determined to protect the town from the yakuza.
The hero's name was Tommy Johnson. He was the Second Rook of the Gremory Family, a group of devils who fought for good. Tommy was joined by his friend Issei Hyoudou, the Pawn of the Gremory Family. Together, Tommy and Issei became the town's new protectors.
Tommy and Issei were both incredibly powerful, and they quickly earned the respect of the townspeople. They fought the yakuza on a regular basis, and they always emerged victorious. Tommy and Issei were known as the "Gods" of the town, and they were feared by the yakuza.
The Saejima Clan was eventually defeated by Tommy and Issei, and the town was finally safe. Tommy and Issei continued to protect the town, and they became living legends. They were the heroes who saved the town from the yakuza, and they were the ones who brought peace to the town.
The moon was at its peak, and only a few stars were visible in the dark sky. It was midnight, the time when evil roamed through the dark alleys and narrow streets of the town.
The entertainment businesses were still open, catering to the late-night crowd. But even they were wary of the yakuza members who cruised through the town, looking for weaker prey. The same could be said for the street punks who thought they were tough, only to get their teeth kicked in by the yakuza.
The civilians, who were normal and good-natured, were scared shitless of the yakuza. They stayed indoors after dark, and they avoided the streets as much as possible. The small businesses, like the food and vegetable markets, closed early in the evening, scared of being caught between extortion.
The town never slept because of the horrors they faced each and every day. Several teenagers went missing every week. Nobody knew who was behind the disappearances, but they all knew that it was something sinister.
But there was one boy who was not afraid to walk among the crowd of danger. The boy who had the balls to match his eyes with the enemy.
The boy's name was Tommy, and he was a member of a secret organization that was dedicated to fighting the yakuza and also the supernatural forces. Tommy had been fighting the yakuza for years, and he had seen a lot of things. He had seen people get killed, he had seen people get tortured, and he had seen people get disappeared.
But Tommy was not afraid. He knew that he was fighting for a good cause, and he was willing to do whatever it took to stop the yakuza.
Tommy walked through the streets, his eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger. He knew that the yakuza or other forms of forces were out there, searching for their prey and he had a feeling they might be looking for him. But Tommy was not afraid. He was ready for them.
Tommy sighed as he walked the all too familiar streets of Kouh, a cigarette hanging between his lips. He was heading towards the intersection, but as he came up near the M Store on his left, he stopped and stared at the batting center on the other side of the street.
The batting center was a familiar place for him and his best friend, Issei. They used to play baseball there together after school or during their leisure time, and they had a lot of good times. Tommy smiled as he remembered the days when they would just hang out and relax, not having a care in the world.
But those days were long gone. Ten years ago, Tommy and Issei had escaped from the orphanage where they grew up. The orphanage was abusive, and they knew that if they stayed, they would eventually be hurt. So they snuck out one night while the caretakers were sleeping, and they never looked back.
Tommy and Issei had been through a lot together since then. They had fought in wars, they had saved the world, and they had nearly died a few times just because of their 'jobs'. But they had always come back to each other, and they had always been there for each other.
Tommy took a drag on his cigarette and looked at the batting center again. He smiled wistfully. He would never forget the good times he had there with Issei. And he knew that, no matter what happened, they would always be friends.
He turned and continued walking, but he couldn't help but look back at the batting center one last time. It was a place where he had made some of the best memories of his life, and he would never forget it.
Tommy continued walking forward, his thoughts drifting back to the time when he and Issei had first met the Gremory Family. It had been five years since then, and a lot had changed.
Back then, they were just two homeless kids, struggling to survive on the streets. They had to mug people and steal food just to get by. They were always dirty and hungry, and they didn't know where their next meal was coming from.
But then, they met Rias Gremory, and everything changed. Rias took them in and gave them a place to live. She also gave them the power to fight back against the people who had been hurting them.
Tommy and Issei were both amazed by their new powers. They had never been able to fight back before, but now they were strong enough to protect themselves. They were also able to help Rias and her friends fight against the evil forces that were threatening the world.
Tommy and Issei quickly became two of Rias' most trusted servants. They were always there for her, no matter what. They fought alongside her in battle, and they helped her to protect her friends and family.
Tommy's fighting style was wild and unpredictable. He was always charging into battle, swinging his fists and feet like a madman. He didn't care about strategy or tactics. He just wanted to hit his opponents as hard as he could.
Issei's fighting style was more calculated and methodical. He was always looking for an opening, and he was always ready to strike. He was also a master of the Boosted Gear, a powerful Sacred Gear that allowed him to increase his strength and speed.
Together, Tommy and Issei were a force to be reckoned with. They were the Demon and Dragon of the Gremory Family, and they were always ready to fight for what was right.
As Tommy walked, he thought about how far he had come since those dark days on the streets. He was no longer a homeless kid. He was a member of the Gremory Family, and he was one of the most powerful warriors in the world.
He was grateful to Rias for giving him a new life. He was also grateful to Issei for being his best friend. They had been through a lot together, and they would always be there for each other.
Tommy smiled as he thought about the future. He knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but he was confident that he and Issei would overcome them together.
At some point, he purchased some snacks, sodas and box of sweets for his friend, Koneko. He roamed the streets until he found a taxi facing the main road. There was no other taxis blocking it. Perfect. He quickly hopped in the back and shut the door.
The taxi driver looked in the rearview mirror and saw Tommy putting a bag on his lap and adjusting his suit. "Where would you like to go, sir?" he asked.
"Take me to Kouh Academy," Tommy said. "And make it quick, man."
The driver nodded and pulled away from the curb. As they drove, Tommy looked out the window, his eyes narrowed in concentration. He was clearly on a mission.
The driver glanced at Tommy in the mirror again. He could tell that Tommy was important, and he was determined to get him to his destination as quickly as possible.
They drove through the city, the streets getting busier as they got closer to Kouh Academy. The driver weaved through traffic, taking advantage of every opening.
Finally, they arrived at the school. The driver pulled up in front of the gates and stopped.
"Here you are, sir," he said. "Kouh Academy."
Tommy nodded and got out of the cab. He paid the driver and then turned to walk away.
"Wait, sir," the driver said. "Your bag."
Tommy turned around and looked at the bag. He had forgotten all about it.
"Oh, right," he said. "Thanks."
He picked up the bag and slung it over his shoulder. Then, he turned and walked away.
The driver watched him go. He knew that Tommy was up to something, but he didn't know what. He just hoped that Tommy would be careful.
The driver pulled away from the curb and drove off. He had a feeling that he would be seeing Tommy again soon.
Tommy stood there in the area, surveying the place as he saw the gates which were meant to be close at this hour, was instead open which he found strange. He then passed through the gates as he took a look left and right. Under the dimly street poles, he found know one as he went inside and turned left where he had to take a narrow path before turning left to see the place he was supposed to go. Few minutes later, he was walking inside a old abandoned building. This was the place where he and his members operated. Walking up the stairs and turning to his right, he spotted two large doors looking directly at him.
Tommy then banged the door twice before he heard a voice. "Who is it?" a familiar voice asked from inside. Tommy knew who it was. It was Koneko, one of his allies and friend.
It's me, Tommy," he answered. He looked at the markings on the doors, which were the symbols of the Gremory Family. He then pushed the doors open and entered the room.
Koneko and Kiba were talking to each other when they saw Tommy come in. They both stopped talking and looked at him. And then the boy looked back at Koneko and went back to their conversation.
"Then," a blonde male was talking to Koneko. "Those bitches grabbed my feet and started apologizing. Of course, I forgave them. Wouldn't dream of ruining these fine looking shoes." They then saw a hand putting down a white bag on the coffee table as they looked to their left and saw Tommy standing. "Yo. Tommy. Have a seat, bro," The boy said as he moved to his right to give Tommy space to sit. Tommy then sat down as the small girl who was facing him the entire time asked.
"Got the sweets?" she asked as Tommy nodded.
"Go ahead. Take a peak," Tommy said as she took the bag and looked inside and stared back at Tommy smiling. "So," Tommy started speaking as he faced Kiba, another one of his friends and was the only knight of this peerage. "What were you talking about?"
"Nothing that would you understand, my friend," the cocky blonde answered. Tommy looked at him with dead eyes, which kind of freaked him out, but he didn't show it. The blonde then stared at him and started answering. "Look, man. I was just telling her about the punks who I had to teach a lesson to. They had it coming."
Tommy then nodded and then asked, "Was it the boss that sent you?" to which the blonde smirked.
Tommy got his answer. Whenever Kiba smirked, it meant that he was telling the truth. Just before Tommy or Kiba could talk any further, they heard the doors opening as two voluptuous women who was two years older than them, walked inside the place as one sat down behind the office desk and the other one stood beside her. Both of them had long hairs that was reaching down and covering their entire backs, one had red hair and the other one had a mixture of violet and black. The woman standing beside the red one wore a orange band behind to tie her hair. Both of them made a name for themselves in this place and earning the nickname, "Two-oneesans" meaning older sisters. The lady who was standing, her eyes were purple and the one who was sitting had blue eyes which made her more vicious than she appears to be. The one who was standing was Akeno Himejima, Queen and the Vice President of the Occult Research Club or rather known as O.R.C. She acted like the consigliere and the one who was handling the finances they had. The other one who was sitting with her chin resting on her hands was Rias Gremory, the King and the president of the club. It was her that took all of them in when they had nobody. She was the one who supported them and fulfilled their needs. She was the one who Tommy looked up to and admired since he and his brother joined her peerage and started working for her. Her confidence, her style of fighting, her spirit of wisdom is what inspired Tommy to work for her. Issei and she had bad blood at first but they soon learned to bear each other. He was calm and patient and she was rather spoiled and would always demand others to do her jobs for him.
"Tommy," Rias called out as he faced her and slightly bowed. "I've noticed that you've been working your ass off these days. Just a few days ago, I was checking out all of our ratings, and yours came out the highest. Even higher than mine, it seems. Look at you, it's only been five years, and you've quickly adapted to the lifestyle. You're something else, Tommy."
Tommy smiled but didn't say anything. He was still getting used to Rias's bluntness.
"I'm not just saying that," Rias continued. "I'm genuinely impressed. I know you used to be the weakest one in our peerage, but you've really come a long way. You're strong, you're skilled, and you're always willing to put in the work. I'm proud of you."
Tommy felt his cheeks flush. He wasn't used to Rias being so complimentary.
"Thanks, Rias," he said. "That means a lot."
"No problem," Rias said. "I'm just telling the truth.
Rias looked at Tommy expectantly, but he just sat there silently, listening to her.
"Tommy, at first, I thought you were useless," she said. "You were the weakest among us, even Kiba and Koneko were stronger than you. You and Issei would constantly get tired and try to chicken out whenever you heard the word 'training.' During our fights with rivals, I saw how often you both were knocked out by our enemies and were always close to dying. It made me want to take back my pieces from you and kill you on the spot.
"But after that incident, I noticed how you and Issei started training. More than you should have. You never took breaks nor slacked off. You built your fighting styles, which I am so proud of. Even though you only fight with your bare fists, you're much more stronger than I anticipated. You truly won my trust when you and Issei took down that fallen angel called 'Jaiden' two years ago.
"I'm sorry for bottling up my thoughts from you. If this makes you think less of me, then I'll understand."
Tommy took a deep breath. "I'm not going to think less of you," he said. "I know that you were just being honest. And I'm glad that you told me this now. It's been a long time coming."
Rias smiled. "Thank you, Tommy. I'm glad that you understand."
There was a moment of silence between them. Then, Tommy spoke again.
"I'm not the same person I was five years ago," he said. "I've changed a lot. And I'm not just talking about my strength. I've grown as a person, too. I'm not the same scared, weak boy that you met five years ago."
Rias nodded. "I know," she said. "I've seen it. And I'm proud of you."
Tommy smiled back at her. "Thank you," he said. "That means a lot to me."
Suddenly, Tommy got up from his sitting position and walked to his boss' table.
"Boss," Tommy said, standing up and walking over to Rias's desk. He put his hands on the desk and leaned down, looking at her face, which was filled with regret and sadness. Koneko looked up from her food, and Kiba and Akeno also stared at them.
"You took us in when we had nothing," Tommy continued. "You helped us with our lives as long as we can remember. Me and Issei would probably have joined the yakuza if it wasn't for you. We were at a bad start. We had to lie on the cold pavement while people walked over us, or even sometimes kicked our hungry bellies just for the thrill of it.
"You showed us the love we never received at that orphanage. You showed us how to fight and stand up for ourselves. I can never repay you for how much you've done to us. We often neglected training because, in our minds, we were a pair of children who never took anything seriously and thought that we knew better than everyone. That's why we were defeated easily by our foes, either by their punches or magic powers.
"Feeling the disappointment you had for our failures, we devoted ourselves to train so that we could meet your expectations. So for that, boss, I would never think any less of you."
Tommy paused, and Rias looked up at him, her eyes glistening with tears.
"Thank you, Tommy," she said. "I know I haven't always been the best boss, but I'm glad that you and Issei are here with me. I couldn't ask for better friends."
Tommy smiled and nodded. "We're here for you, boss," he said. "Always."
Then Tommy did something else that left everyone freezing on their place. He pulled out a small box wrapped in wrapping paper and handed it to Rias; he had to express his gratitude.
Rias tore off the wrappers and looked at the small brooch that Tommy had gotten her. It was a beautiful piece of jewelry, made of silver with a small dragon pendant hanging from it. The pendant was encrusted with small diamonds, and it sparkled in the light.
"It's beautiful," Rias said, her eyes widening.
"I thought you might like it," Tommy said. "It's a dragon, and you like dragons."
Rias smiled and blushed. "Thank you, Tommy," she said. "It's perfect."
She put the brooch on, and it sparkled against her skin.
"You're welcome," Tommy said. "I'm glad you like it."
Rias looked up at Tommy and smiled. "Thank you for remembering my birthday," she said. "I know most of the others forgot, but it means a lot to me that you remembered."
Tommy smiled back. "Of course I remembered," he said. "You're my boss, and I wouldn't forget your birthday for the world."
Rias laughed. "You're such a good boy," she said. "I'm lucky to have you."
Tommy blushed. "Thanks, boss," he said.
Rias looked over at Akeno, Koneko, and Kiba. "I'm glad you all remembered," she said. "Even if it was last minute."
Akeno smiled. "Of course we remembered," she said. "We just had a lot on our plates today."
Kiba nodded. "Yeah," he said. "But we wouldn't have missed your birthday for anything."
Koneko nodded in agreement. "Happy birthday, Rias," she said.
Rias smiled. "Thank you," she said. "I'm so lucky to have all of you."
Akeno then remembered something as she faced the others who understood and nodded, prompting Akeno to tell Rias the truth. Facing Rias, she started spilling the beans.
"Actually, Rias," Akeno started speaking speaking as everyone looked at her. "All five of us actually remembered our birthday. We're just waiting for the right time to wish you. All of this was part of Tommy's plan." Akeno then pulls a white envelope from her pocket and gives to Rias. "Yesterday, me and Tommy went to pay Issei a visit. There, he told us to give you this letter."
Rias then held the envelope tightly as she looked at and slowly whispered, "Issei...thank you. Umm, guys?"
"Yes, boss," responded Kiba as he got from the couch and faced her. "If you don't mind, can you give me and Tommy some space? I need to talk to him about something important."
"Sure, Rias," Akeno told her. "Kiba, Koneko. Let's go visit the steakhouse on our way."
"Oh, hell yeah," Kiba cheered. "Steakhouse, here I come!" He yelled as he ran out the door waving his hands in air like crazy. Tommy and the rest exchanged looks with one another before they slowly started laughing. After waving goodbye, Akeno and Koneko left leaving Rias and Tommy to speak along.
Rias reached down and opened a drawer, pulling out an ashtray, a pack of cigarettes, and a lighter. She placed them on her desk and turned to Tommy.
"Tommy," she said, "I have some good news and bad news. Which would you like to hear first?"
Tommy thought for a moment. "The bad news, I guess," he said. "Sometimes I think it's best to get the worst out of the way first."
Rias nodded. "The bad news is that there's a fifty percent chance that you'll be attacked by fallen angels on your way. We thought we had dealt with them two years ago, but it turns out that Jayden had a younger sister. Her name is Raynare, and she's out for revenge."
Tommy frowned. "Fallen angels, huh," he said. "Well, I've dealt with them before. They're not so tough."
"This one is," Rias said. "She's much stronger than her sister, and she's got some tricks up her sleeve. We're not sure where she's operating out of yet, but we're working on it. I'll let you know as soon as we find out."
"Okay," Tommy said. "I'll be careful."
"The good news is that Issei is getting released from prison tomorrow," Rias said.
Tommy's eyes widened. "Issei?" he said. "That's great news! I can't believe it."
He walked over to Rias and gave her a big hug. "Thank you," he said. "Thank you so much."
Rias smiled and hugged him back. "You're welcome," she said. "I'm so glad I could help."
Tommy stepped back and wiped the tears from his eyes. "I can't wait to see him," he said. "It's been too long."
"I know," Rias said. "But he'll be home soon."
They both smiled, and then Tommy turned and walked out the door. He couldn't wait to see his brother again.
Rias felt her shoulder getting wet from the tears that were falling down Tommy's eyes. She didn't mind. Her main goal was to see Tommy and the rest of her peerage happy. After all, they needed her and she needed them.
Without Issei, the place didn't feel like home. The O.R.C. club had a gloomy atmosphere as they thought about their moments with Issei. If they could live those hours again, they would without a heartbeat. Issei was the one who would always advise them. He would often show them what was right and wrong, and whenever they needed support or a shoulder to cry on, Issei was always the first to lend a shoulder. It didn't matter when, where, or why. To him and Tommy, the Gremory family was where they belonged.
"You will be home soon, my dragon," Rias said in her mind as she rubbed Tommy's hair. "The demon and the dragon working together again...like the old days...it puts a smile on my face. The family is finally getting back as a whole."
Rias knew that Issei's release from prison would be a turning point for the Gremory family. With Issei back, they would be able to face any challenge that came their way. She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when he saw how much they had all grown.
She also knew that Issei's return would mean a lot to Tommy. The two of them had been through a lot together, and they were like brothers. Rias was glad that they would finally be able to be together again.
Somewhere Else...
At midnight, a prisoner inside his cell in a grey prison uniform sat on the bed as he gazed at the stars through the small window which had iron bars in between to prevent him from escaping. He was thinking about how he messed everything up. He was thinking how lonely his brother must be without him. His running buddy was quite far away from him. His boss must be disappointed in him. Ever since that incident, Rias and he had bad blood for each other. He then remembered and chuckled as how much he and Koneko spent their times together in the sweet shops, her talking selfies with him as they tried the few samples. How Tommy and he enjoyed taking down the fallen angel members. How he and Kiba raided a stray devil's warehouse and put a stop to his entire gang of psychopaths. Good times he had.
He then flipped his hands as he looked and had a glimpse of that night. The night he was arrested and taken far away from his family. He then remembered the boy's face as he was strangling his neck. How out of breath he was and how blue his face became. He was trying to pry Issei's hands of him but to no avail as Issei was much stronger than the man. He then remembered the reason behind his crime. His girlfriend at that time, Murayama, was sleeping with this playboy named Chad. Issei back then smirked as he watched the man feeling the pain he deserved or so he thought. Then he had a glimpse of his girlfriend's dead body lying in a pool of blood. He then remembered how he stabbed her death once he found out and lost his mind. He then remembered how many times he stabbed her. It was twenty-eight times. The jury then gave him the life sentence but was soon bribed and bought by Gremory Family to reduce his sentence only two years. He then remembered standing at the box while he looked around and watched his victims family crying and after being declared guilty by the judge, while being escorted out, he remembered all the insults and the yelling their families had for him. He remembered how Tommy approached him outside as he was being thrown in the police van and wished him luck. He remembered Kiba and Koneko giving him a thumbs up and waving him off. But his smile disappeared when he remembered that Rias wasn't there to see him off. Probably disappointed, he thought.
Just then he heard footsteps and thought about looking to his right to see who it was but dismissed the idea at the thought that a guard was patrolling around. Nothing special. When heard the footsteps stop and the cell bars being banged, he looked to his and was surprised to see a familiar prison guard holding a letter.
"Inmate 4012," the guard addressed Issei with his prison number as he looked at the guard to hear why he was being called. "Mail for you."
"..." Issei said nothing as his brain froze for a moment as he saw the guard reaching into his pocket and pulling out a red envelop. He knew the color and the labels it had. It was the Gremory Family. The red symbol it had on the back was a dead giveaway. Without a wasting time, he immediately got up and reached the cell door where the guard was standing.
"First time from your boss in two years, huh?" the guard asked with a wide smile as he hands the letter to the Gremory member. "Your parole starts tomorrow. Guess someone's actually waiting for on the outside, huh?"
"Rias-san..." Issei whispered as looked at the symbol.
Issei sat back on his bed and watched the guard leave. He picked up the envelope and opened it, pulling out a sheet of paper. He carefully unfolded it and gazed at the message his boss had sent him.
"Two years," the letter began. "It's been two years since you left us, and we're still not over it. At first, I couldn't understand why you would do such a thing. I was hurt and angry, and I blamed you for everything that happened. That's why I wasn't there in court. I'm so sorry for not believing in you, Issei. I hope you can forgive me."
Issei's eyes widened as he read the letter. He couldn't believe that Rias was apologizing to him. He had always thought that she hated him for what he had done.
"A lot has happened while you've been away," Rias continued. "Tommy and Koneko have started working together and have gotten closer than ever. Kiba and Tommy have stopped picking on each other, and they're actually working together now. Akeno has started working part-time at the Sega arcade place where you and Tommy used to hang out.
"The town is in danger, Issei. The abductions that you and Tommy stopped two years ago have started again. This time, the enemy is much stronger than before. We need you more than ever. Tommy will pick you up tomorrow morning."
Issei's eyes filled with tears as he finished reading the letter. He couldn't believe that Rias still believed in him. He was so happy to be going home.
"Boss," he said, his voice breaking. He wiped the tears from his eyes and looked up at the window. He smiled, knowing that he would be back with his family soon.
The Next Day...
In the outskirts of town, Tommy sat on the hood of his car, looking at his watch. It was 12:14. He then heard the car doors being opened as Kiba and Koneko hopped out. They had been waiting for this day for two years.
"So, this is it," Kiba said. "We're finally meeting him again."
"Yeah," Koneko said. "Issei's coming home."
Just then, the gates of the penitentiary opened and a man stepped out. He was tall and muscular, with a long beard and a shaved head. He was carrying a large bag over his shoulder.
"That's him," Tommy said. "That's Issei."
The man looked up and saw Tommy, Kiba, and Koneko. He smiled and waved.
"Hey, guys," he said. "It's good to see you."
Tommy, Kiba, and Koneko ran to meet him. They hugged each other tightly, overjoyed to finally be reunited.
"I'm so glad you're home," Kiba said.
"Me too," Koneko said. "We've missed you."
"I've missed you too," Issei said. "It's good to be back."
They all got into the car and Tommy started the engine. They drove off, heading back to Kouh Town.
As they were driving, a team of fallen angels appeared in the sky. They were armed with light spears and they began to attack the car.
"What the hell?" Tommy said. "What are they doing?"
"They're trying to kill us," Issei said.
"Why?" Kiba asked.
"I don't know," Issei said. "But we need to get out of here."
Tommy swerved the car, trying to avoid the fallen angels' attacks. But they were too persistent. They kept firing their light spears, and one of them finally hit the car.
The car flipped over and crashed into the ground. Issei, Kiba, Koneko, and Tommy were all thrown from the car.
They lay on the ground, stunned. The fallen angels landed in front of them, their light spears pointed at their throats.
"This is the end for you," one of the fallen angels said.
But Issei wasn't going to give up without a fight. He stood up and raised his hands.
"You're not going to get away with this," he said.
A bright light suddenly erupted from Issei's hands. The fallen angels were blinded by the light, and Issei was able to escape.
He ran to a nearby that was parked. A traveler must have been there. Luckily for him, the key was in the ignition and he quickly hijacked the car. Approaching where his friends were lying injured, he helped Kiba, Koneko, and Tommy to their feet. They all got into the car and Issei started the engine. They drove away, leaving the fallen angels behind.
"What was that?" Kiba asked.
"I don't know," Issei said. "But I think it's my power."
"Your power?" Koneko asked. "What do you mean?"
"I don't know," Issei said. "But I think I'm a lot stronger than I thought."
They all looked at each other, wondering what the future held. But they were all determined to find out...
