Everything was weird about the return of Son (y/n). Was it that he was in his Super Saiyan Form? Probably. Was it because he was wearing blue and green Saiyan Battle Armor with a red headband on his head? Most likely. 

Probably it was because of the fact that he was walking in with Vali and Kuroka of all people.

Issei: Vali!

Koneko: Kuroka... 

Xenovia: (y/n)... It's... You...

Xenovia reached out a hand to try and touch him, but (y/n) kept moving on. 

He didn't even look at her. 

Vali's voice rang out from among the crowd.

Vali: I, Vali Lucifer, member of the Khaos Brigade, wishes to compete in the Azazel Cup! 

A loud voice rang out in outrage. 

Cao Cao: Be silent! A member of the Khaos Brigade has no place here! The Hero Faction will not allow it! 

After Cao Cao's outburst, several Peerage's cried out in agreement. 

An even louder voice split through the crowd. 

Sirsechs: They will be allowed to compete!

Cao Cao: B-But-!

Sirsechs: My word is final. Now, is that all? Anyone else? 

Ajuka: I guess that's it. 

Shiva: Yes. 9 Peerages will compete.

Azazel: What an exciting time! The Azazel Cup, huh? How exciting! 

Shiva: Yes, I believe you said that multiple times before, Azazel. 

Azazel: Yes... Now, all leaders of competing Peerages, gather 'round, will you? Everyone else can like, go home or something. I only need the leaders. 

Akeno: Oh... Okay, then. 

Koneko: See you around. 

Rias: Yeah. See you later. 

Issei: Yeah. 

Xenovia: Wait! Please! Can I stay? 

Azazel: No can do. 

Xenovia: B-But-!

Rias: You can talk to him once we get back, okay?

Xenovia: Okay...

Multiple magic circles transported the other members of the multiple Peerages away as the leader of each of them approached Azazel and Sirsechs. 

Azazel: Oh, and not you either, Vali. 

Vali: Oh? I'm a Peerage leader. I can't stay. 

Azazel: No. Not really. We don't like you all too much. 

Vali: *sigh* Fine. 

Vali and Kuroka soon teleporting away leaving (y/n) and the others standing there. 

Azazel: Okay, I'm going to be real with you: We haven't been completely honest with you. 

Sairoarg Bael: So, what have you brought us here for, if not the Azazel Cup?  

Ajuka: Oh, no. Do not be mistaken. The Azaz Cup will still happen. It is just the motives that we were not so transparent about.

Shiva: Yes. This may be a bit complicated and surprising to hear, but we suspect that there is a traitor within our ranks. 

Cao Cao: How?! 

Dulio Gesualdo: How can you tell? 

Sirsechs: Well, as you know, Rias Gremory and Son (y/n) have fought many powerful foes in the past. 

Sairoarg: So I've heard. 

Azazel: Well, we were thinking that in order for Rias and (y/n) to even fight these powerful foes in the first place, some impossible things would have to go down. 

Dulio: Like? 

Sirsechs: Tears in the Dimensional Gap and the revival of an extinct species. 

Ajuka: Certainly problematic.

Sairoarg: I never imagined... 

Azazel: So the true purpose of the Azazel Cup is to draw out said traitor. 

Sirsechs: We have a deep belief that the Khaos Brigade is the one behind the madness. 

Rias: That's a fair guess. 

Sona: Yes. I agree. Chaos is quite literally its name. Besides, most of our troubles came from them. It wouldn't be too far to assume that they would be the root of this. 

Sirsechs: (y/n)? Any opinion? 

(y/n) stayed silent for a moment as he looked to the side. 

(y/n): No... 

Azazel: Okay, then. You guys can go now, but no telling the others about this. Them knowing could be potentially problematic. 

As the leaders of the Peerages began to summon magic circles to return to their Peerages, Dulio Gesualdo ran up to him. 

Dulio: Nice hair. Just like Nero's. He'll like that. 

And with that, all the Kings left. 

(y/n) stayed behind, but just to take one good look at the four males behind him. 

Then, (y/n) put his middle and index finger to his forehead, and he was gone. 

Azazel: Now, what was he doing with Vali Lucifer of all people? 

Ajuka: Where was he for the month that he was absent?

Shiva: Do you think it's possible that he could be- 

Sirsechs: It's a lofty accusation, but I'll consider it.

(y/n) appeared back in Issei's house. Everyone turn towards him and looked in surprise. 

Rias: Why are you... In Super Saiyan? It doesn't even feel like you're in Super Saiyan. You feel as if you're in your Base Form... 

Akeno: Where were you? 

Asia: Is it true that you blew up Planet Tuffle?

Issei: Did you... kill... Baby? 

Kiba: Why were you with the Khaos Brigade? 

Koneko: Why show up now of all times? 

(y/n) remained silent. He didn't respond to any of the questions.

Rias: Can't you just answer us?! You could at least owe it to us! And what about Xenovia?! You just left her!

At this remark, (y/n) began to walk towards Xenovia, who was towards the back of the room and refused to say anything. 

(y/n) stood in front of her, still saying nothing, and stared deep into her eyes. 

She did the same while everyone else watched in silence as they looked on. 

Xenovia: Get... out... of Super Saiyan. 

(y/n) obeyed. His hair and eyes returned to its signature black color.

(y/n): Xenovia... I-!

Xenovia slapped him in the face before he could finish. Tears were in her eyes and her fists were balled. 

Asia: Oh! 

Xenovia: You... The damn nerve... I... I can't... I HATE YOU!

Xenovia ran up to her room, crying as she ran away. 

Rias: (y/n)... 

(y/n): I'm fine. 

(y/n) walked out the door to the house. 

Rias swore she could see a tear going down his face.

Bulma: It's... something else. 

(y/n): I know. I was there. 

Bulma: Any wish is possible? 

(y/n) nodded his head. 

(y/n): That's not why I'm here. You know why I'm here.

Bulma: She wasn't... right, (y/n). She was barely functioning. I saw her a couple of times over the month. She didn't sleep. She didn't eat. 

(y/n): I told her I'd be back... 

Bulma: That doesn't matter. You... broke her heart, (y/n)... It's not going to be easy to just come back to the normal life you had. Hell, what even happened to you? You seem like a completely different person. Training with a "Super Saiyan God" or whatever the hell that is on your home planet. 

(y/n): I'm sorry... 

Bulma: Don't tell me. Tell her.

(y/n) sat on the edge of his bed. He thought about his training. 

"Learn to let her go."

(y/n): I just can't... 

He paced around his room a bit, his tail flailing around wildly. 

(y/n): DAMN IT! 

He punched a hole straight through his wall. 

Koneko's eye was seen peeking through the hole in the wall. 

Koneko: Nice job, dumbass. 

(y/n): Shut it! 

(y/n) threw his desk across the room in anger. 

Rias and Issei ran into the room to see the mess (y/n) had made. 

Issei: Woah! Why is there a hole in the wall?!

Rias: (y/n)... Are you- 

(y/n): I'm fine! 

(y/n) stormed away and left the two of them. 

Issei: I bet he's going to the roof again. To brood. 

Rias: I agree. They both changed.

(y/n) stood on the roof of Issei's mansion, holding tight on the grips near the edge. 

(y/n): I never should have left. 

Xenovia: Yeah... 

(y/n): I'm sorry... 

Xenovia: I don't think you are. 

(y/n) turned around to face her.

(y/n): What's that supposed to mean?

Xenovia: If you were really sorry, then you wouldn't have left. You would have thought of somebody else instead of yourself for once in your life. You would've thought about me... 

(y/n): You think I wasn't thinking about you the whole time I was gone? 

Xenovia: Yes! 

(y/n): I was!

Xenovia: Well, you sure didn't seem like it!

(y/n): I... I... 

Xenovia: Yeah! Now all your arguments start falling apart! Because you only care about yourself! All you do is just train and fight all day! So tell me why?! Why are you like this?!

(y/n): Because I- 

Xenovia: Because you're a Saiyan? Because it's in your blood?! Because you don't love me?!

(y/n): Because I'm scared! Scared of what would happen if I wasn't strong enough to protect you! Scared of what would happen if someone I care about gets hurt because of me! Scared that this power that's inside of me and the idea that I wouldn't be able to control it! Sad... about my people. Sad about... my parents. Regretful for dragging you into such dangerous situations. 

(y/n) turned back around and ran his fingers through his hair as he sighed out loud. 

(y/n): I could find the whole meaning of life in those sad eyes... They've seen things that you never quite say, but I hear... Come out of hiding, I'm right here beside you... And I'll stay there as long as you'll let me...

Xenovia: You know that song too?

(y/n): Because you matter to me... Simple and plain and not much to ask from somebody, you matter to me... I promise you do, you, you matter too. I promise you do, you'll see? You matter to me... 

Xenovia: It's addictive the minute you let yourself think... The things that I say just might matter to someone... All of this time I've been keeping my mind on the running away... And for the first time, I think I'd consider the stay...

Xenovia: Because you matter to me... Simple and plain and not much to ask from somebody, you matter to me... I promise you do, you, you matter too. I promise you do, you'll see? You matter to me...

Xenovia and (y/n): And you matter to me! Simple and plain and not much to ask from somebody... You matter to me!

Xenovia: I promise you do, you...

(y/n): Out of hiding I'm right here beside you...

Xenovia: You matter too...

(y/n): As long as you'll have me...

Xenovia: I promise you do, you, you matter too...

(y/n): Out of hiding I'm right here beside you...

Xenovia: I promise you do, you, you matter too...

(y/n): I do, I promise you do, you matter to me

The two of them got closer and closer together as they sang together. 

Xenovia and (y/n): I promise you do, you'll see... You matter to me...

Xenovia and (y/n)'s lips brushed against each other... but Xenovia pulled away at the last minute. 

Xenovia: I'm sorry, but... I just need some time... alone... 

Xenovia ran away, leaving (y/n) standing there alone.

Xenovia sat alone in her own room. She was crying alone in her room. 

Xenovia: Damn it... I still love him...
