Breakfast was awkward that morning. Rias and (y/n) sat across from each other, occasionally giving a dirty glance to the other. Everyone else sat in silence, looking back and forth at Rias and (y/n). 

(y/n) stopped eating and stood up. He began to walk away. 

(y/n): The food was amazing, Bulma. Thank you. 

Bulma: N-No problem. 

Rias: Where are you going?

(y/n): The pod. Someone's gotta work.

Bulma massaged her temples as she looked at the blueprints for (y/n)'s Space Pod. 

Bulma: I-It's a lot...

(y/n): I know. Can we work around it? 

Bulma: From what Kaio-Shin told me, i-it's about a 6-hour flight at best. That's if I can get enough fuel. 

(y/n): Well, you're rich, right? Can't you just buy it?

Bulma: I wish. The kind of fuel that your pod consumes isn't available on the general market. It's custom-made fuel so that your ship doesn't blow up mid-air. 

(y/n): Damn. 

Bulma: *sigh* No need to worry. A shipment should be coming in soon. 

(y/n): How soon is "soon"? 

Bulma: Soon. Why don't you go and tell everyone else what's going on?

(y/n): Sure. 

(y/n) walked out of the lab in which the pod had been transported from. Akeno was the first to ask him. 

Akeno: So?

(y/n): I'm going to give it to you straight. It's not looking good. The fuel that the pod needs hasn't come in yet. We have to wait. 

Rias: If we just go now- 

Asia: Let's not start... Another fight...

(y/n): She's right. In the meantime... I'll take Xenovia to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. There's something I'm interested in. 

Xenovia: O-Oh. When are we leaving?

(y/n): Now. I need as much time with you as possible. 

A  small blush appeared on Xenovia's face as she heard (y/n)'s words. 

(y/n): Not like that... 

Xenovia and (y/n) held hands as the disappeared together. 

Kiba: *sigh* I'm going to see what I can do to help Bulma. 

Koneko: Yeah. Beats just sitting around. 

Asia and Gasper left too, leaving only Rias and Akeno sitting together. 

Akeno: I'm worried about him too, you know. 

Rias: All of us are. Deep down, I know (y/n)'s right... But... It's just so hard for me to just wait. It's almost as if I'm leaving him there to die. He's been there for us so many times and now that the time has come... I can't even be there to repay the favor... 

Akeno: We'll save him. I have faith.

Rias: Faith... huh?

(y/n) and Xenovia appeared on the Lookout. Kami was waiting there for them. 

Kami: Ah! (y/n)! I assume you are in need of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. 

(y/n): You know me so well, Kami-Sama. 

Kami: Go one right ahead, but first... I'd like a word with you, (y/n). 

(y/n): O-Oh. 

Xenovia: I'll wait at the door. 

(y/n): Ok. 

(y/n) and Kami walked towards the edge of the Lookout, staring out into the clouds and the ground below them.

Kami: I sense that something is troubling you. What is it? 

(y/n):*sigh* You know. You've seen what happened down there. 

Kami: And is the situation any less hopeless than when you fought Cell and Kokabeil?

(y/n): And what's that supposed to mean?

Kami: It means that you'll find a way. Everything will be okay. You have so many friends that will stand by you until the very end. Don't underestimate the value of that. 

(y/n): Right as usual, Kami-Sama. 

(y/n) walked towards the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and towards Xenovia, but he stopped. 

(y/n): Thanks, Kami-Sama. 

Kami: Anything for you, old friend.

Xenovia: So why are we here? Why do you want to train me?

(y/n): I've been thinking about something that Kaio-Sama told us. Something I've overlooked. 

Xenovia: And what is that? 

(y/n): Your natural Ki aptitude. 

Xenovia: What? 

(y/n): Kaio-Sama was right. The normal human body usually can't handle going beyond x2 Kaio-Ken. There might be some exceptions because you're a devil, but the idea is the same. You must have large amounts of Ki stored up in that body of yours if you're able to do Kaio-Ken x10. I want to teach you how to harness Ki. Control it. Make its power yours. 

Xenovia: Okay. Where do we start?

(y/n): First, you need to focus. Clear your mind. 

Xenovia: Okay. I'll try. 

(y/n): Ki is the energy that flows within all things. Feel the energy inside of you. 

Xenovia closed her eyes and tried to concentrate, but she soon opened her eyes. 

Xenovia: I can't do it. 

(y/n): It's okay. I wouldn't expect you to get it the first time. 

(y/n) walked behind Xenovia and put a hand on her back. 

(y/n): Let's try this. I'll lend you just a bit of energy. Just enough for you to try it on your own. 

Xenovia felt a sudden warmth spread from where (y/n)'s hand was to the rest of her body. 

(y/n): Now try.

Xenovia closed her eyes once more and concentrated. 

(y/n): Yes! You're doing it! 

Xenovia opened her eyes to see that she was hovering above the ground without the use of her wings. 

Xenovia: I-I'm flying. I mean, without my wings.

(y/n): It a good first step! You'll have this down in no time!

Bulma wiped the sweat off from her forehead as she sat down on a chair nearby. 

Bulma: Done. For now. 

Kiba: What do you mean. 

Bulma: I still have to calibrate and test run the thing. It is alien technology and I don't really know what it is completly. 

Koneko: Rias won't like that. 

Bulma: Then don't tell her. What she doesn't know won't hurt her.

Kiba: Right you are. 

Bulma: Where'd (y/n) and his girlfriend go?

Koneko: Up to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. 

Bulma: To train?

Kiba: You know it. 

Bulma: Grr... Flaker! It's his space pod! He could at least be here! 

Koneko: That's just the way he is. 

Bulma: Yeah... He's always been like that...

(y/n) and Xenovia stepped out of the time chamber to see Kami waiting for them. 

As they walked by, Kami stopped (y/n). He dragged him aside and spoke silently so that Xenovia couldn't hear. 

Kami: What have you done? What have you turned her into?

(y/n): We're desperate. I thought you of all people would recognize that. 

Xenovia walked over to (y/n) and the two of them teleported away.

(y/n) and Xenovia appeared in the living room of Bulma's house.

(y/n): Yo! 

Bulma: AH! You scared me! Don't do that!

(y/n): Hehehe... Sorry! Bad habit of mine...

Everyone gathered in the living room, but they were all shocked when they saw Xenovia. 

Rias: H-Hey. What happened to you? You feel different...

Koneko: Yeah. It's like your normal energy is just off...

(y/n): Yeah... That was me. She's got some new tricks up her sleeve. 

Xenovia: A bit more than a few...

(y/n): Shush! Don't ruin the surprise! 

Bulma: What have you done this time? 

(y/n): Nothing! Nothing! How's the pod doing?

Bulma: Great, no thanks to you. 

(y/n): Sorry 'bout that.

Bulma: It's all but ready, however- oop! 

Rias: "However" what? 

Bulma: O-Oh! It's nothing! 

Rias: Then we can leave?

Bulma: Well...

Kiba: Not yet! Bulma still has to run some tests!

Rias: We have no time for tests!

(y/n): Oh boy. Here we go. 

Bulma: Trust me, Rias. We'll be ready by tomorrow. 

Rias: Let's just go now! The risk is worth it! 

(y/n): Let's put it to a vote. All in favor of leaving now? 

Rias and Akeno's hands rose. 

(y/n): All in favor of waiting until tomorrow?

Everyone else's hands rose. 

(y/n): It's decided. We'll wait. Let's get some sleep.

It was late at night. Rias crept downstairs and into the garage of Bulma's house. 

She pressed a button on the outside of the pod, making the door open. She quickly climbed inside. 

Luck was on Rias' side, for the coordinates for Planet Tuffle were already in the computer. (what is this, star trek?) 

The lights to the garage flicked on and Rias froze. Akeno stood in the doorway. 

Akeno: Leaving so soon?

Rias: If you're trying to stop me, then don't. I'm going. That's that. 

Akeno: I'm coming too. 

Rias: No, I-

Akeno: I love him just as much as you... I'm going. 

Rias: If I can't stop you...

The two pushed the pod outside and started it up. The sound of take-off woke everybody up. 

(y/n): What? Oh! You gotta be fucking kidding me! (watch yo profanity) 

Everyone ran outside to see (y/n)'s pod breaking orbit. 

Bulma: Crap! Where are they going?

Koneko: Where do you think? 

(y/n): Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! 

Asia: Oh my! They won't stand a chance against Baby!

(y/n): I know! That's what I've been trying to tell them. 

Xenovia: What do we do? 

(y/n): Sit tight. I'm going to get Kaio-Shin.

Baby-Issei: They're coming. 

???: Mmm... Good. Kill the Saiyan. 

Baby-Issei: As you wish...
