Fun Fact: I actually wanted to write a battle between Son (y/n) and Koneko for a while. My only problem was that I didn't know when I wanted to do it. After lots of thinking, I decided that I would put it at the heart of my take on the Universe Survival Arc.

Issei stretched his arms as both he and Asia got up and began to make their way around the staduim. 

Issei: Asia, I'm fine. You can stop worrying about me. 

Asia: Are you sure? 

Issei: Yeah. You Twilight Healing did just the trick. 

Asia: He praised me!

The two eventually came across Rias and Akeno, who were watching Koneko and Son. 

Issei: Hey, Rias. 

Rias: Issei! Are you okay?!

Issei: Yeah. Asia fixed me up.  

Asia: I heard that Gasper got eliminated. Who got him? 

Akeno: Koneko. 

Issei: No way! 

Rias: Yes. Son had the two fight. 

Issei: Koneko's got two tails now! What's up with that?! 

Rias: Nekomata Level 2. Koneko pushed her limits in her fight against Gasper and unlocked a new form. 

Issei: Amazing... 

Son: Asia Argento! Just the person I wanted to see!

Asia: M-Me?! 

(y/n): Could you use that Twilight Healing of yours to restore Koneko to her Full-Power? I can't fight her unless she's bringing everything she's got. 

Koneko: Tch. Don't pity me... 

Asia went over and began to heal Koneko right away.

(y/n) waited as his now golden tail flailed impatiently. 

The signature green light of the Twilight Healing vanished from Koneko.

Asia: It's done. 

(y/n): Thank you. 

Asia returned by Issei's side as the 4 spectators prepared to watch a fierce battle. 

Koneko's two white ears and tails perked up at the new restoration as the two warriors stared each other down. 

(y/n): Do you think you can beat me? 

Koneko: We'll see, shall we?

(y/n): You've certainly grown since the last time we've fought. You're stronger than ever.

Koneko: Why thank you. 

The two, without a warning, rushed at each other, throwing an assortment of punches and kicks at each other.

The Super Saiyan and Nekomata clashed again and again. 

Rias: I can't believe it... Koneko's fighting on par with a Mastered Super Saiyan! 

Issei: It seems that this Nekomata Level 2 gives her enough power to match a Super Saiyan. 

Son threw a ball of energy at Koneko, which she reflected and threw a punch at (y/n), sending him staggering a bit. 

Son teleported behind Koneko in an attempt to kick her away, but Koneko teleported herself behind Son in her own attempt to strike Son. He dodged and the two threw a punch at the same time. 

However, due to the size difference, Son's longer arms hit Koneko first, sending her flying back. 

Koneko launched the attack that defeated Gasper at Son. 

He countered with his Kamehameha as a beam struggle ensued.

The two fought for the upper hand as the beams of pure energy pushed upon each other.  

Finally, the two beams imploded on each other. 

Both Son and Koneko seemed to be unfazed by each other as the two rushed each other again, trading punches and blows. 

The two were on equal footing, so no one fighter could get a finishing advantage over the other. 

(y/n) threw a punch at Koneko, but she was able to dodge the attack and delivered a punch of her own on (y/n)'s body. 

Koneko's punch sent Son flying back as he felt the full effects of the attack. 

(y/n): Heh... 

(y/n) pointed his whole hand at Koneko as a yellow sword of Ki stretched out to stab her. 

Koneko was just barely able to dodge (y/n)'s blade as it extended and stabbed a rock behind her.

Issei: (y/n)! Are you trying to kill her?!

(y/n): Maybe... I just wanted to see how fast she really was.

Koneko: Geez... 

(y/n)'s energy blade retracted back into that of a normal sized Ki blade as (y/n) leaped towards Koneko.

Koneko was forced to be on the defensive as (y/n) swung is blade around at Koneko. 

She didn't want to get sliced up, of course, so she was resorted to just dodging the onslaught of Son's attacks.

Son slashed upwards with his blade at Koneko, but that was the perfect opportunity for her. 

Koneko dodged the attack and wrapped one of her tails around (y/n)'s arm, while the other wrapped around his neck. 

Despite her small figure, she was able to throw (y/n) across the fighting stage. 

(y/n): Damn... 

(y/n) thrust at Koneko again, but she wrapped her two tails around (y/n) again. 

However, as she began to toss him, Son dug his energy blade into the ground, stopping him from being tossed. Son counterattacked with a well-timed kick that sent Koneko flying back towards the edge of the stage. 

Koneko: Tch... Sneaky... 

(y/n): Heh... I won't fall for the same trick twice. 

Koneko: I figured... 

(y/n): It's unfortunate, really...

Koneko: What is? 

(y/n): All that potential is locked up in that small body of yours. Even with your Nekomata Level 2, I still sense more power inside of you. 

Koneko: I'm not that small... 

(y/n): You're missing the point. You're young. 

Koneko: You're only a couple years older than me... Idiot... 

(y/n): But still. You're young, and that means that you haven't fully matured yet. 

Issei: Hey! What are you trying to get at, Perv?! 

(y/n): I'm young as well... Just like me, you're not a fully grown. You're inexperienced. You have no proper master. Rias is great and all, but when put against foes such as myself, she can only go so far. Any objections, Rias? 

Rias: No... In the world of Hell, Son (y/n) is an... anomaly... I've never seen someone get so powerful so quickly... New techniques... New fighting styles... There's only so much that I can do when you're set up against someone like him... 

Koneko: Even if you outclass me... I don't plan on giving up... 

(y/n): Good... 

(y/n)'s Super Aura flared to life as his energy began to rise. 

Lighting began to rise from his Super Saiyan figure. 

Son: HAH!!! 

Son's hair grew sharper and a visible, golden bang became clear. 

Koneko: Super Saiyan 2... 

(y/n): Yes... Let's see how you fare against me now. 

Koneko: Bring it. 

(y/n): You'll regret it. 

Before Koneko could even react, (y/n) delivered a heavy blow to Koneko's body, making her double over in pain and causing her to spit up a bit of blood. 

Koneko couldn't even get a grip as (y/n) started a ruthless assault, punching her again and again.

(y/n) didn't let up one bit as he grabbed her and threw her into the ground. 

As Koneko tried to get up, (y/n) dug his foot into her head, shoving her down. 

Issei: (y/n)! Stop!

Rias: Hold on, Issei... (y/n)'s methods are... strange, but they work... 

Issei: What do you mean?! He's killing her! 

Akeno: Rias, are you sure about this? 

Rias: I'm not sure, but I trust him...

Asia: Oh, Koneko...

(y/n): Come on, now... Don't tell me that you're finished already... 

After much struggling, Koneko finally fell to the ground under (y/n)'s foot. 

Koneko: Please... 

(y/n): Tch... 

(y/n) kicked her away, only for him to stomp on her a second time. 

(y/n): Have some pride, why don't you... It makes me sick... The lack of confidence and pride you have in yourself... Hiding your ears and tail...

Koneko: Pride... 

(y/n): Saiyans are all about pride. It's who we are... To see another powerful being without it... Makes our blood boil!

(y/n) kicked her away again. 

(y/n): Come on! 

Koneko was on her hands and knees as (y/n) advanced towards her. 

(y/n): You're strong! Amazing! Beautiful! DON'T BE DEFEATED LIKE THIS!!!  

(y/n) flew towards her, his fist cocked back for the finishing blow.

The castle was on fire. 

Devils ran out in a panic to save themselves. 

Koneko saw the body of the male on the ground with a bigger woman standing over him. 

"Let's go, Koneko." 

"Why... Why did you kill him?"

"He was a bad man..." 

"But he was our master..."

"He was no master of mine." 

"Please, Kuroka... Don't do this..."

"If you won't come with me, then you have to be left behind. There's no turning back for me now..."

"Kuroka..."

"Choose... Now..."

The young Nekoamta looked at her fallen master as Kuroka let out a heavy sigh. 

"So be it..."

Kuroka ran off, leaving Koneko in the burning building alone.

(y/n): DON'T BE DEFEATED LIKE THIS!!!

Just as (y/n) was about to deliver the finishing blow, a white light emerged from Koneko's body. 

The pure energy pushed Son back as Koneko began to transform again. 

When the light disappeared, Koneko's energy increased exponentially.

The small Koneko was now replaced by a much more mature looking woman. 

She looked exactly like Koneko, but older. 

Now she was almost as tall as Son. 

(y/n): That's the way... 

The new Koneko rushed Son with blinding speed. 

The two clashed fists, making the whole stadium shake as a result.  

Issei: W-What happened?! She's older! 

Akeno: Rias! 

Rias: I can't believe it... She combined nature-based energy with her own Ki... 

Akeno: So she made herself older... 

Rias: To use her power to the absolute max... 

(y/n): Hahaha! Now, this is a surprise! 

The two continued to clash as they spoke. 

Koneko: This is everything I have! My mind! My body! My spirit! And my Pride!! 

(y/n) increased his power to match Koneko's as the two danced around each other. 

(y/n): I can't believe it! She's stronger than a Mastered Super Saiyan 2!

Koneko threw a punch that sent (y/n) flying back, giving her ample time to unleash a barrage of attacks on his body. 

(y/n): Gah! So this is your Potential Unleashed?! 

(y/n) regained his bearings and launched a Kamehameha attack on Koneko. 

She countered with her Kasha attack (Or Bootleg Final Flash 2.0), which overpowered the Kamehameha. 

(y/n) escaped by the skin of his teeth as the white attack flew by his face. 

Koneko didn't even give (y/n) a break, as it was his turn to take a powerful blow to the stomach.

(y/n) coughed up blood as he staggered back, holding his stomach. 

The punch was so powerful in fact, that it sent Son back to his Base Form. 

(y/n)'s hair turned from golden to black as his power level dropped. 

Issei: W-WHAT?! 

Rias: No way! 

Koneko shot an energy blast at the ground, causing a large portion of the stadium (including the space under (y/n)'s feet), to crack. 

(y/n) fell through the cracks, falling down headfirst into the abyss. 

As (y/n) fell, he remembered his voice.

"In order to become a God, you must be ruthless. Unwavering. You must become... Pure Power..."

(y/n): Power...

The life in Son (y/n) was instantly restored and used the falling debris to jump right back on to the fighting stage. (JIREN) 

(y/n) landed back on the stage with a loud thud, to the surprise of Koneko. 

Koneko: As if it would be that easy... Guess I'll have to push my Shirone Mode to its max. 

Issei: Shirone? 

Rias: Shirone... It means White Sound... And it's Koneko's real name... 

Akeno: How fitting.

Koneko launched her Kasha attack at (y/n) to try and end the match. 

However, (y/n) began to power up, and his aura alone was enough to hold back Koneko's attack. 

Son's black hair turned golden.

And then it began to grow and grow until it was down to his waist. 

Koneko: Haven't seen that form in a long time... 

(y/n): I am power... 

It was Super Saiyan 3.

The pressure of Super Saiyan 3 shook the entire stadium.

Koneko: I guess that-!

Koneko was cut off when Son teleported behind her and slammed his foot on her tail, effectively pinning her down. 

Koneko let out a scream of pain but was caught off again by a furious counterattack by (y/n). 

Everytime Son hit Koneko, she would move back a bit. 

However, due to (y/n) keeping his foot on her tail, she just rebounded back for another attack. 

Son didn't let up and struck her again and again and again. 

Koneko: His punches are so heavy! I feel like I'm going to shatter! 

(y/n) lifted his foot off of Koneko's tail and let her fall to the ground in defeat. 

(y/n) reached for her, but Koneko had one final surprise for him.  

In one final effort, she raised a single hand and let out a Ki blast using the rest of her strength.

He wasn't expecting it, so the attack traveled straight through his stomach. 

(y/n) staggered back and looked at the hole in his stomach. It took everything he had to not scream out in pain.

(y/n): I-I... will become... a Saiyan God... 

Son continued his act as he scooped up Koneko in his arms and walked her to the edge of the stage. 

Koneko: (y/n)... Thank you... You helped me find my courage... and my pride... 

Son (y/n): Not a problem. 

Koneko lifted her head and kissed Son on the cheek. 

He dropped her, watching her tumble into the abyss. 

*Koneko Toujou has been eliminated!*

Son staggered back to Rias and the others as he fell on his knees, blood seeping out from his wound. 

Rias: (y/n)... 

(y/n): Go... Away...

Issei: Let us help you! 

(y/n): GO AWAY!

He shot a Ki blast at the group making them scatter.

Everyone except Asia. 

She walked over and began to heal him. 

Son: Didn't you hear me? 

Asia: I did...

 Son: Get out of here before I eliminate you... 

Asia: Please... Let me help you...

Son: Why...

Asia: Because you helped me... Along the way...

The green light vanished from Son's body as he got up. 

Asia: I'm sorry that I couldn't fix your armor. 

He looked down at the hole in his blue and green armor. 

Son: No problem. 

He turned around to face Asia. 

He extended his hand with a ball of Ki in his hands. 

Asia: Son...

(y/n): I meant it... 

*Asia Argento has been eliminated!*

Son tightened the headband around his head and walked away with no regrets.
