Rias, Akeno, and Koneko stopped for a moment to recuperate. 

Akeno: Crom really tore up the stage, didn't he. 

Rias: Yeah... He took so many people down just by cracking the stage. 

Koneko: There are so few of us left. 

Rias: Riser did have a few, but those two from Son's Peerage took them all out. 

Koneko: I think we're in the clear for a bit. 

Rias: Let's use this time to regain our energy. 

Without a warning, a blast of energy flew by Rias' ear. 

When the turned around to see the attacker was, it was (y/n) and Gasper standing there. 

Rias: Well, I knew that this time would come. 

(y/n): Eh? 

Rias: Time for a fateful rematch? 

(y/n): Unfortunately, my quarrel is with Koneko. Rather, his is with Koneko. 

He gestured towards Gasper who seemed to shrink behind him. 

(y/n): Koneko... Back when we fought Cell, I told you that you had to become ruthless. I even said it to you again when I was training Gasper. Have you taken my advice? 

Koneko: That's for me to know and for you to find out. 

(y/n): You have so much potential locked up in that small body of yours. I would hate for you to get eliminated from the Azazel Cup without you showing it off. 

Koneko: Yeah... Rias... Akeno... Stay out of this one. Those two are mine. 

Rias: Are you sure? 

Koneko: Yes. I'm sure. 

(y/n): You won't be fighting me. You'll be fighting Gasper. 

Gasper: B-But... She's my friend... 

(y/n): Not anymore, she's not. 

Gasper: Okay... 

Gasper stepped up in front of (y/n), with Koneko walking up to match him. 

The two friends stared each other down and prepared for the fight of their lives. 

The two hesitated, making it very clear that they didn't want to fight each other. 

Gasper was the first to move, throwing punches at Koneko. 

However, seeing how inexperienced Gasper was, there was no technique in his attacks. 

Koneko was easily able to weave around her friend's attacks. 

Son (y/n): C'mon, Koneko. Counterattack! He's wide open! 

Rias: Son is putting the two to the test. 

Akeno: Huh? 

Rias: He's having them fight, but at the same time, he's training them. 

Akeno: Yeah... I see it now. 

Rias: He's been following their progress for a while now.

Akeno: I can tell. He sees the two as his students and knowing him, he probably demands the best of them. However... 

Gasper continued to wildly attack Koneko as she weaved through her attacks. 

(y/n): Idiots... Koneko! Gasper! Fight! 

Koneko finally counterattacked with a punch, but she found herself on the ground with no idea how she got there. 

Koneko: Oh... 

She looked at Gasper's glowing eyes and put two and two together. 

Koneko: Seems like I can't land a hit on you if you stop time. 

Gasper didn't respond. 

Koneko attacked Gasper again, only to find herself on the ground again. 

Rias: Gasper's Time-Altering Abilities are proving quite troublesome against Koneko.

Akeno: So it seems. 

Koneko decided to turn up the heat with some Ki-based attacks, but Gasper's Time Abilities trumped anything Koneko could dish out. 

Koneko: Man... Son really set me up... didn't he... I was hoping to save this for later, but I'll have to do it now... 

The features of the Nekomata appeared as Koneko's cat ears and tail appeared while a white aura appeared around her. 

Koneko's Ki began to skyrocket as the white aura around her completely overtook her body. 

(y/n): Finally getting serious now, huh? 

The white aura shined throughout the stadium as Gasper staggered back in surprise. 

(y/n): Koneko! BE RUTHLESS! 

Suddenly, Koneko rushed forward and struck Gasper in the gut, causing him to double over in pain. 

Gasper tried to counterattack, but two tails wrapped around his body and threw him away. 

Akeno: Two tails?!

Rias: That pressure is insane! 

(y/n): Looks like you've finally taken my advice. 

Koneko: I guess I have... This is my Nekomata Level 2! 

Gasper: K-Koneko... 

She rushed forward and struck Gasper away, but soon appeared behind him to deliver a powerful blast that sent him flying. 

Akeno: What's happening? How did Koneko suddenly get the advantage? 

Rias: It seems that Koneko's new form allows her to move so fast that Gasper doesn't have any time to react.

Gasper looked up to Son (y/n), who only stared at him with disappointment. 

(y/n): Do you want me to step in? 

Gasper: W-What? 

(y/n): I'll fight in your place, but I can guarantee that I will defeat her. 

Gasper: Really? 

(y/n): However... I'll make it as painful as possible. Do you want Koneko to hurt? 

Gasper: N-No... She's my friend... 

(y/n): Then have some courage and fight... Unless you would prefer that I take over... 

Gasper: I'll fight... against Koneko... 

Koneko attacked Gasper again but found herself behind him. 

Koneko: Fighting, huh? 

Gasper: Yes... To protect you... 

Koneko: How cruel... 

Koneko rushed in for another attack, but she was met with a powerful blow to the stomach, courtesy of Gasper. 

Gasper, using his Time-Skip abilities, stopped time again and again to unleash a barrage of attacks on Koneko's body. 

Koneko staggered back as a dark aura began to surround Gasper. 

Rias: So this is it... The Balance Breaker that Son told me about... Balor the Beast. 

The red sky of the World of Void turned dark as Gasper began to press his advantage.

Gasper Balor: You can't win...  

Gasper used his Time-Skip to get right in front of Koneko to deliver a devastating blow. 

Koneko grabbed on to Gasper Balor's arm in an attempt to throw him, but Balor just hit her again and again while stopping and resuming time. 

(y/n): Balor the Beast... While using this Balance Breaker, he was stronger than me... Let's see how he holds up now.

Koneko moved in for another attack but just ended up on the ground. 

Koneko: Damn... 

Gasper Balor: Jump off the fighting stage and save me some time... 

Koneko: As if I'd give up so easily... 

Gasper came in for another attack that sent Koneko reeling. 

Rias: So powerful... It's unbelievable. 

Akeno: Gasper can actually win this... 

Koneko: I've figured you out... I can win this... 

Gasper rushed in for another set of attacks, but Koneko was surprisingly able to block them and counterattack. 

Gasper Balor: H-How?! 

Koneko: My body is working in my favor. You're hitting me in the same spots, so it's just a matter of choosing which attacks to take and which ones to block. 

Rias: I see. Koneko is so small that Balor doesn't have much to work with in terms of striking space, meaning... 

Akeno: Koneko has him wrapped around his finger... 

Gasper and Koneko charged each other, trading strikes and blows as each tried to gain an advantage over the other. 

Koneko delivered an upwards kick to Gasper, sending him flying in the air.

She created two white spinning wheels of Ki in her hands and launched the attack at Gasper. 

The wheels eventually turned into one big blast as it traveled towards Gasper.

As the beam traveled up, Gasper extended both of his hands to try and block it. 

The two struggled to beat each other as both of them pushed back. 

Gasper Balor: I WON'T LOSE!!!

Koneko flew up through the beam and struck Gasper hard in the gut, sending him right over the fighting stage.

*Gasper Vladi has been eliminated!*

Koneko: I'm sorry... 

(y/n): No time to be... 

(y/n) stood in front of Koneko as he turned into a Super Saiyan. 

The golden aura outshined the darkness of Balor's darkness, revealing the red sky again. 

(y/n): ...Because you'll be fighting me now... 

He tightened the red headband and prepared for battle.
