Last time Riser sent members of his Peerage after Lucien in order to take him prisoner! With the help of Lin Lin and the Count, they were able to fend off the trio of Devils. Although things seem to be getting more difficult for the young Devil.

Lucien was currently staring down a truly terrifying sight, his enraged big sister and an equally enraged Akeno. "Lucien, would you like to explain why the entire front part of the cafe is a gaping hole?" Rias asked her little brother as she tried to keep her emotions under control at the moment. Lucien remained silent as he stared at his sister, who was standing in front of the still damaged cafe entrance. "Okay, but you have to promise not to go ballistic. That goes for Akeno as well." Lucien said calmly as he didn't want today to fly off the rails when he admitted the truth.
"What happened?" Rias said again as she still wanted an swear to what happened at the cafe. Lucien explained how three members of Riser's Peerage had come to the Cackling Skull in order to take him prisoner so Riser could get back at her. "I'm going to sling that cowardly bastard alive!!" Rias growled as everyone except Akeno and Lucien flinched at her enraged tone. "Sis, I told you not to go ballistic." Lucien said as he tried to calm his sister down. "Maybe we should find that cave he decided to hole himself up in and obliterate it." Akeno added as her usual smile was on her face, but everyone could feel her sadistic aura radiating off her.
"Akeno, you are not helping the situation." Lucien said in an unamused tone as he stared at his sister's Queen. "I don't think your gonna get through to them Lucien, they look like their to far gone." Issei said as he cast a glance towards the two angered women. "Look, I'm thinking about going through with the whole Peerage thing. Only to make sure I have backup for the next time something like this happens." Lucien said as he hoped to put at least his sister's mind at ease. Rias's expression softened as Lucien's words seemed to put her in a better mood.
"It's good to know your finally accepting it Lucien." Rias said as she gave her brother a gentle smile. "Yeah, yeah don't get to excited about now. Anyway once I'm finished with work today I need to go out and hunt down another Stray Devil to keep my arm in check." Lucien said as he leaned back in his chair slightly. Rias nodded in understanding before she and the rest of her Peerage bid farewell to Lucien, although Akeno lingered behind slightly as she rested her gaze on Lucien for awhile longer before following after the others. Of course this doesn't go unnoticed by a few members of the Peerage.
"Hey Akeno, what's got you all concerned?" Issei asked as he walked next to the Queen of the Peerage. A blush spread across her face at the question. "I-It's nothing Issei, I'm just worried about Lucien is all." Akeno said in slight embarrassment before picking up her pace to walk next to Rias. "Hold on a second, does Akeno have a thing for Lucien? Looks like I better do some investigating." Issei thought to himself as he decided he needed to investigate this a little further. "A childhood crush maybe? If that's the case, Lucien's a lucky guy." Issei mumbled to himself as he continued to follow behind the rest of the Peerage.

Later that Night
Lucien sheathed Zankoku Otome as he had just took down another Stray Devil and absorbed it's magic energy into the Arm of Corruption. "Alright that should take care of the arm for the next week or two." Lucien mumbled to himself as he got ready to fly back to the Cackling Skull, but sensed something nearby as he rested his hand on the handle of his katana. "I know your watching me, come out before I attack." Lucien said calmly as he waited for any type of response from whoever was watching him. A feminine giggle was heard as Lucien turned to see a girl in a kimono, with cat ears and a tail.

          "My, your quite perceptive and strong. My name is Kuroka." Kuroka said in a sultry tone as she did a quick bow. "Your a wanted criminal, allegedly killed the leader of your Peerage as you got drunk on your own power." Lucien said as Kuroka for a split second had a surprised look on her face before it switched back to her usual seductive one. "Allegedly? What makes you think I didn't kill that fool for my own personal gain?" Kuroka questioned as she sauntered towards Lucien before grabbing his chin with her hand. "There are two sides to every story, last time a checked the accusations against you were all just speculation." Lucien said calmly as he continued to hold eye contact with Kuroka.
Kuroka once again let a surprised expression cross her face for a mere second before it returned to its normal sultry one. "You wish to here a criminal's side of the story? How strange, your not only strong, but rather intriguing." Kuroka said as she pressed herself up against Lucien in a provocative manner. "Is there something I can do for you?" Lucien asked in a polite tone as he tried to remain calm in this situation. Kuroka let out a small giggle at the question before smiling at Lucien. "Would you mate with me? I wish to have strong children and you would be a fine candidate." Kuroka said as a Lucien's face irrupted into a blush.
              Lucien quickly grabbed Kuroka by the shoulders before pulling himself and Kuroka out of the way a lightning bolt that flew by them. Lucien and Kuroka turned to see a smiling Akeno that had electricity crackling all around her. "Lucien could you please be a dear and move out of the way so I can fry that problematic cat?" Akeno asked as rage coated each word she spoke. "My is someone jealous? Maybe you should have asked to mate with him when you had the chance." Kuroka taunted as a deadly aura surrounded Akeno's entire body.

Lucien knew that this whole situation could go to help in a hand basket if he didn't intervene. "Akeno, calm down, the last thing we need is to start a fight." Lucien reasoned as he hoped to get through to his sister's best friend. "Lucien, the filthy cat is a notorious criminal. I wouldn't want her to kill you while your confused by her nasty tricks." Akeno said in a sweet voice, but Lucien could sense the bloodlust behind it. Kuroka then hugged Lucien from behind as she rested her head on his shoulder before looking Akeno in the eyes directly.
              "It seems Lucien prefers dangerous women, your much to straight laced to fit that description. Why don't you run along so we can have our fun." Kuroka fires back before gently kissing Lucien on the cheek. The lightning aura around Akeno only seemed to intensify at the sight of this as she seemed to be readying another attack. "First of all, your not helping Kuroka! Secondly, Akeno, don't launch that spell!" Lucien said as he found himself in the middle of a very deadly situation. "Lucien, move so I can turn that mangy cat into ash!" Akeno growled with noticeable edge in her tone as she glared at Kuroka.
               "Lucien Gremory!!" Lucien heard another voice shout as he let out an annoyed groan. "Oh what now?!" Lucien said in defeated irritation as he didn't know how much more off the rails. Siris, Isabela, and Xuelan landed as they were prepared to capture Lucien once again. "Look could you three comeback later? I'm kinda in the middle of something!" Lucien groaned in annoyance as he gave the girls and unamused look. "Because of you Master Riser has forsaken us! The only way we can return and no longer be considered Strays is to take you prisoner!" Xuelan said before all three of them sunk into a fighting stance to finally capture Lucien.
              Kuroka shot a glare at the girls for interrupting her fun. "How irritating, begone you annoying little rats!" Kuroka said as a magic circle appeared behind her before she launched a ring of fire at the girls that knocked them off their feet as they were disoriented.

Lucien was rather caught off guard by Kuroka's sudden attack considering the conflict didn't even involve her. "So your the whores who tried to take Lucien to that coward Riser? I suppose I should turn you three into ash!" Akeno said as she raised her hand as a magic circle appeared in the sky before lightning rained down on the three girls.

The three Stray Devil girls were completely electrocuted as they lay collapsed on the ground as smoke came off their bodies. "Well now, let's finish off these Stray Devils." Akeno said as she raised her hand to ready another spell. "Agreed, then we can get back to more important matters." Kuroka said in agreement as she also readied another spell to finish the job once and for all. Lucien quickly stood between the two girls and the three downed Strays. "Lucien move out of the way." Akeno said calmly as she didn't even stop her spell from charging.
                "Akeno, we don't need to kill them." Lucien reasoned as Akeno gave him a confused look. "Lucien what do you mean? They tried to kidnap you! They're still trying to kidnap you!" Akeno responds as she doesn't understand why Lucien was defending them. "Akeno, they were just following orders. Besides Riser cast them out, basically forcing them to become Strays." Lucien once again reasons as he tries to get through to Akeno. "They're still Strays! That means they must be dealt with!" Akeno shouted, but it sounded closer to pleading at this point to Lucien.
               Lucien let out a calm sigh as he knew why Akeno was so concerned considering what he told her and the rest of the Peerage earlier today. "Akeno if you want to be angry at someone, it should be Riser. He used these girls and when they failed he tossed them aside like garbage. I'm not gonna let you kill them!" Lucien said in a determined tone as he locked eyes with Akeno. The tension was broken by Kuroka who had started giggling. "Not only are you strong, but rather compassionate! Fine, we'll do things your way." Kuroka said as she dispelled her magic.
               Akeno seemed conflicted, but after taking one final look into Lucien's eyes convinced her to dispel her magic. "Fine, but you owe me for this Lucien." Akeno said as a devious smile spread across her face. Lucien let out a sigh of relief before turning to face the three girls. "Why did you defend us?" Isabela asked as she and the other girls slowly got back on their feet. "I'm not gonna put you to death for something Riser made you do, in fact you can stay at the Cackling Skull if you want, that way you won't get hunted." Lucien said in a kind tone as he smiled at the girls in hopes of putting their minds at ease.
The three girls looked at each other before sprouting their wings and taking off into the sky. "Guess they still need time to get their emotions sorted out." Lucien mumbled to himself before turning back towards Akeno and Kuroka. "You truly are interesting! That offer for mating is still on the table." Kuroka said in a sultry tone as she tried to approach Lucien, but was blocked by Akeno. "You won't lay a finger on Lucien you mangy cat!" Akeno growled as lightning crackled in her hands. Lucien gently rested a hand on Akeno's shoulder before looking at Kuroka with a serious look on his face.
            "The offer to stay at the Cackling Skull extends to you as well Kuroka, no sense in you being hunted down. Besides I want to hear your side of the story." Lucien said as Kuroka gave him an appreciative smile. "I'll take you up on that offer Lucien, it'll be nice to have a place to stay for once." Kuroka said as she sauntered over to him. "You can't be serious, can you Lucien?" Akeno asked in complete disbelief at Lucien offering Kuroka a place to stay. "Come on Akeno, Kuroka has a right to at least have her side of the story be heard." Lucien reasoned as he gave his sister's Queen a small smile.
             A blush spread across Akeno's face as an idea popped into her head. "Fine, but in order to pay me back, you have to take me on a date this weekend!" Akeno said in a giddy tone as she returned Lucien's smile. Lucien stuttered nervously, before quickly regaining his composure. "Fine, you win, I'll take you on a date." Lucien said in a defeated tone as Akeno quickly pulled him into a bone crushing hug before bidding both of them farewell. Lucien watched Akeno fly away before he let out another tired sigh. "She's quite something isn't she?" Kuroka said as she let out another small giggle.
               "You have no idea." Lucien days before he starts to lead Kuroka back to the Cackling Skull. "Thank you for helping me like this, and for being willing to hear me out." Kuroka said as she smiled at Lucien warmly. "It's no problem really, you don't seem like a bad person." Lucien said simply, which only made Kuroka's smile grow wider. "The offer of mating is still on the table you know." Kuroka said in a suggestive tone as her smile grew more seductive. "You need to control yourself a bit better." Lucien said in an unamused tone that only caused Kuroka to laugh as the duo continued on their way.
