TRAVIS POV

I walked into New York Prep. where Katie was going. I already got my uniform and went to the office.

There was a little woman whos badge said 'Ginger Snout'.

"Um.. excuse me, may I have my schedule please?" Connor and Rachel were already here.

"Name?"

"Travis Stoll. And I'm a freshman."

"Ah yes here, same as Miss Gardner. Find her and she will guide you."

"Thank you."  I walked into the halls and asked some one for where my locker was. They showed me and told me it was right next to Katie Gardner's locker and that she was REALLY popular.  Well then. someone else pointed me to my homeroom. It was a teacher and I was late.

KATIE POV

A boy appeared in the doorway but I didn't care.

"You're late. What is your name?"

"Stoll. Travis Stoll." My head shot up.

"Ok go have a seat next to Miss Gardner please. She is also your budd since it appears you two have the same schedule." Oh no! His brother being here was just enough to remind me of him, now he's here! He slid into the seat next to me and stared at me. I stared right on back.

"Hey Katie-kat, did you know you had golden flecks in your eyes? They look like they swirl around in your eyes. Its very pretty."

"Travis! 1) what are you doing here? 2) thank you for the compliment. 3) stop calling me that! You know I hate it!" Actually I was super glad he was here and I secretly like the nickname. 

"Uh.." He pulled at the collar of his shirt, "Katie, I came because every day got to hard to go through because I didn't have any way to see you, Connor stole my coins, and I really missed you. You are the most welcome, you diserve that. And I will never stop calling you that."

I didn't think, I pressed my lips to his, completely ignoring my math homework. Somehow we broke for air and then the bell rang for us to get to first period.

"Btw, you are my buddy for classes." He said slipping his hand into mine.
