---Error's POV----

It was still stupidly hot. I had gone to sleep on the kitchen floor downstairs because they're tiles, and pretty cold. It wasn't the most comfortable thing I've ever done, but oh well.

Ink had only laughed at me and slept upstairs with a giant fan that he'd dragged down from his house.

To be honest right now...I kinda wished that I was in Nightmare's house right now. They have some creepy-ass basement that makes you want to run out screaming at every noise. But, it's freezing cold. It's like walking in a freezer.

I remember Nightmare saying he was planning on sleeping down there. Man how I wish I could be in that freezing cold basement right now...

The sound of someone walking down the stairs rang out and I really couldn't be asked to move, so I didn't.

I simply lifted my head up a bit as Ink walked in, obviously trying not to laugh. "Did you seriously spend the whole night on the kitchen floor!?"

"Mmhm..." I mumbled, still starfished on the cool tiles.

Ink laughed. "When you told me you were going to do that I wasn't sure if I should've taken you seriously of not."

"Mmm you should always take me seriously Inky..."

"Uhuh...I'll keep that in mind then..." He walked over and held a hand out for me. "So you staying down there or are you coming up...?"

I pretended to think for a bit before grinning and grabbing his hand, letting him pull me up to my feet.

"Heh, thanks Inky."

Ink blushed and hugged me softly, his head pressed softly against my chest. I sighed and looked around, stroking the top of Ink's skull with my hand softly.

Ink purred and nuzzled me, making it my turn to blush faintly.

"Mmm Inky we need to get to school...it's gonna take longer than usual to get there, so we're going to have to leave soon."

Ink sighed and looked up at me cutely. "Its too hot for school..."

I laughed. "Wow Ink thinking of reasons not to go to school? What happened to the goodie-goodie I met on my first day of going to hell?"

Ink huffed and glared at me. "Can't I have an opinion without you teasing me...?"

I laughed. "Awww Inky I was only joking, don't be mad."

Ink smirked and looked away from me with an annoyed pout and scrunched up eyes.

I whined and leaned against him. "Inky nuuuuu..."

Ink glanced at me and I did my best attempt of puppy eyes at him. He scanned my face and laughed before hugging me again, making me smile and blush.

"You know I was joking glitchy."

I glanced at him strangely from the sudden new nickname. "Glitchy...!?"

He laughed and nodded. "That's my pet name for you. Glitchy."

I made a poker face. "Why me?"

Ink giggled again and dragged me out of the kitchen. "Because your a very lucky child."

"Haha that I am Inky, that I am."

---Time Skip----------------------------------

---Dust's POV----

The whole day has gone past painfully slowly. The ever-present heat had made every minute that went past seem like an hour.  Cross hadn't come in again today and Nightmare didn't either. Dream said that in this heat, Nightmare would probably melt into a literal puddle of black goop.

I'm just saying, that would be hilarious to see, but also slightly concerning and worrying. Having someone melt into a puddle right in front of you...doesn't sound like the best life experience. For you or them.

I was about halfway home at the moment when I heard running footsteps behind me. I glanced behind me and stopped abruptly when I saw it was Blue and Ink,who also had Error with him.

Blue immediately hugged me and I laughed, ruffling the top of his skull affectionately.

Ink smirked and I rolled my eyes at him. "So you guys walk this way as well?"

Ink sighed. "We dont, but Blue does. I wanted to make sure he made it to you without tripping over or something stupid."

Aww he's looking out for him. How cute.

Error glanced at me and Blue suggestively before laughing and grabbing Ink's hand and pulling him away.

Ink clung to him but looked back at us and gave me a serious look. "Dust if you break my best friends heart I will follow you home and strangle you."

I blinked and nodded before smirking. "I won't don't worry."

Ink sighed and smiled at the two of us before he let himself be dragged off by Error.

I looked down at Blue as he hugged me tighter. "You gonna go home now Blue?"

He shook his head and clung to me. "Not without you..."

I sighed and looked down at him before chuckling. "Alright then, lead me to your house."

Blue looked up at me happily and nodded. "Its this way!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me along after him, leading me to his house.

Once we found it and retreated inside, the first thing I did was flop on the sofa. And the first thing Blue did, was flop on top of me, making me let out a surprised "Oof!" Sound.

Blue giggled and snuggled up to me, purring softly. I picked him up slightly and shifted so that I was sitting up and he was sat on my lap, his big blue eyes looking up at me innocently.

I smiled and stroked the top of his skull slowly, making him purr louder and nuzzle closer.

I don't know how...But somehow we both managed to block out the sound of the door opening and misheard it completely. If we had I would have booked it and ran, knowing who had just walked in the house.

I literally jumped as Blue's brother walked in unexpectedly.

"Hey Blue I'm ho–"

He cut his sentence off and glared at me. "You."

I laughed nervously and let my grip on Blue loosen a bit, making him whine and snuggle closer.

Paps eyed is slowly and glared at me.

Basically...long story short...He hates me, and I hate him.

"Get away from my brother..." He growled.

I looked at him and shook my head, gripping Blue tighter.

Blue seemed to finally notice what had happening and wriggled in my lap so he was turned to face his brother. His face immediately lit up and he squealed. "BROTHER!"

Normally Blue would run up to him for a hug, but at the moment he was obviously content in my arms and he snuggled closer to me instead.

"Blue come here...." Paps muttered, obviously wanting me to do be away from Blue.

For some reason apps hates me. He says I'm a horrible selfish person that never did and never will get to love. He probably thinks I'll be a really bad influence on Blue and make the innocent bean turn evil and mean.

I'm saying now, I would never let that happen anyway.

Blue shook his head and nuzzled me. "No..."

Paps growled softly before glaring at me. "You hurt him....your dead."

I gulped and nodded before sighing in relief as he walked out of the room.

I need to be much more careful now.....
