Shut up Brat

12k and its been 1 day :3  I love you hugs sooooo much :3

---Chara's POV----

I stared blankly at Cross as he slept. He had a small frown on his face and was clutching the crumpled picture in his hand so tightly that it would probably snap if it was something like wood or plastic.

I glanced over at the photo of him and smirked. The whole picture was practically falling apart from the number of times that Cross had got in a rage and flung a knife at it.

Its like his stress reliever. It works for me too really. It satisfies me more than calms me down though. I like to think every time that knife hits the wall its actually stabbing him.

Of course we don't know if he's alive, he could be decaying in a bush for all we know. Or maybe he messed up another experiment and got horribly mutated and crippled.

I smirked. Hopefully one of the two have happened. It would serve him right.

Cross shifted in his sleep and let out a small yawn. I watched him, waiting for him to wake up. I'm pretty sure he's already late for school, I could hear the sound of annoying kids walking past earlier. It sounded like a lot so I assumed it was a group of kids going to school.

Cross doesn't have an alarm to wake him up. I guess I could have helped, but I'm not some obedient puppy that does whatever he wants. He knows that though.

Besides, he hasn't been sleeping much lately, so this should be good for him. He needs the rest. I glanced at the can of beans that Cross had brought up with him last night. He'd forgotten to eat them in his rage about X.

School is the only place that cooked meals are an option to Cross. Everything he has here is cold. He doesn't seem to mind though. Be thankful for what you have am I right?

I snickered as Cross let out a loud groan, shifting on his side and rolling off the mattress, hitting the floor with a thump. Cross immediately shot up, falling on his face again as he got tangled in the blankets.

I was laughing my ass off as he struggled to untangle himself from the blanket with no success. He growled and threw it off him, letting it land in a crumpled heap on the mattress.

"That was hilarious!" I gasped, doubling over with laughter.

Cross glared at me, clearly not seeing the funny side that I was.

"Shut up brat." He muttered.

I calmed down and sighed. "Okay, okay. Sorry."

Cross rolled his eyes and got to his feet, stretching his arms to wake them up a bit. I watched and tilted my head to the side, curious as to why he stretched. I don't need to, seeing as I'm practically a ghost. I don't feel anything physical.

We both looked down as Cross accidentally knocked the can of beans over with his foot. He raised an 'eyebrow' and leant down to pick it up, grabbing the fork at it he same time.

He leant back and sat down on the mattress. The can was a ring top one, so he easily pealed the lid off and started digging into the beans hungrily.

"You know your late for school..." I said slowly.

Cross nodded and continued to eat the beans. "Doesn't matter, I'll just go in late."

I sighed and nodded. "Okay."

Cross quickly finished the beans and let out a satisfied hum, letting the tin roll to the side of it the room. I watched it go and blinked as it came to a stop against the wall with a clunk.

Cross sighed and pushed himself back up to his feet and walked over to the other side of the room, where he had left his shoes last night.

He tiredly put them on and sighed, standing motionless at the door. I floated next to him and morphed through the door, not needing to wait for him because I'm a ghost.

The whole landing was damp and smelt like rotting corpses. I floated over to the stairs and glanced back as Cross opened the door and stepped out, visibly cringing at the state and smell of the house.

We quickly made our way downstairs and through the living room, the kitchen was covered in puddles of water because of the forever open window we use to get in and out of the house.

Cross quickly climbed onto the washing machine and through the window, landing softly in the wet, overgrown grass. I floated above it all and checked that no one was around on the other side of the fence to see Cross leave.

Lucky for us, no one was, so I gave the Cross the all clear and within a few minutes we were on the road and off to school.

Cross was silent the whole way. He usually is on the way to school, he just goes mute suddenly. Its like a switch has been flicked inside of him and poof! No more sound.

He only starts talking again when he sees his friends. Then he turns into the cocky, cheery kid they all know...and some of them love...(eyebrow wiggle)

---Inks's POV----

I leaned against Error and purred, nuzzling closer to him for warmth. Its cold today and even with all my layers and long scarf I was still shivering.

Error wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer, letting me bury my face in his chest. I sighed happily and hugged him tighter, making him hum and blush lightly.

Error stroked my head softly and ran his fingers over my cheek lightly, making me shiver, and not from the cold. He chuckled quietly and continued to stroke me, keeping his other arm wrapped round me tightly.

I nuzzled up to him and smiled. Loving this little moment we were sharing together. "Your so cute Inky~" Error whispered behind me, his warm breath tickling the back of my neck.

I blushed and squirmed in his grip, embarrassed by the way he'd said it. "Don't say that!" I hissed, my face a dark shade of rainbow.

"Why not? It is the truth after all~" He cooed, clearly teasing me on purpose.

I grumbled to myself and covered my face with my scarf in a futile attempt to hide my steadily deepening blush. Error chuckled and kissed the top of my skull, making me let out a squeak of embarrassment and flusteredness.

"Your doing this on purpose now!" I whisper shouted in annoyance.

"Doing what?~" He purred.

I growled quietly and looked at him, trying to look pissed off. He only smirked before leaning forwards and kissing me quickly. I fled my whole face flush and I immediately buried my face in his jacket again.

"Still mad?~" He asked, letting his hand stroke the back of my skull.

I let out a dieing wheeze and nodded into his chest, not really trusting myself to speak.

Error chuckled and nuzzled me softly.

"I'll take that as a yes."
