Project

Just clearing something up! Last chapter people seemed to get the wrong impression on what Killer and Dream were talking about. XD I did say that they were talking about Nightmare, cuz long story short....Killer likes Nightmare. :P  And he was talking to Dreamy about it.
Yeah...confusion explained XD

ANYWAYS.....

---Ink's POV----

"Right then class. Today you shall be starting your project." The teacher said loudly, addressing the entire room.

We all groaned and leant back on our chairs. Projects were the worse. Especially English projects.

"You shall be doing this in pairs." Immediately everyone sat up straight and started whispering to each other and Dream turned in his seat and looked at me, his eyes big stars. "But I shall be choosing the pairs."

A collective groan filled the class and we all went back to leaning back on our chairs, looks of pure boredom on our faces.

"These pairs have been chosen at random and shall not be changed, no matter what your excuse for why you can't work with that person is."

We all scowled at him, I swear he enjoys forcing us to work with people we hate.

"I shall now read out the pairs."

I crossed my fingers and prayed that I wasn't paired with someone like Horror or Dust. That would be a terrible experience.

"Ink and Error."

I saw Dream shoot me a sympathetic look and I smiled weakly back at him. It could have been worse. Error's okay really. We haven't talked since I gave him that tour on his first day though.

I glanced at him from across the room and he locked eyes with me, a small smirk growing on his face. I felt my face heat up and I looked down at my work.

"Dream and Killer."

I looked up and stared at Dream. He looked slightly annoyed but he smiled at Killer all the same.

"Dust and Silver"

Dust groaned and slammed his head down on the desk and a quiet sigh came from the girl next to me, who I assumed was Silver.

"Glitch and Jessica."

Quiet squeals could be heard from the back of the classroom. Sounds like they're happy with their pairing. Which is something most of us couldn't celebrate about.

"Horror and Lust."

At that pairing was announced Dust lifted his head off the table and looked at the back of the classroom, sending a wicked grin at Horror. I didn't look to see his response.

I zoned out as the teacher read out the rest of the pairs. I was too busy thinking about how I'd get this project done.

"There we go. These are your pairings and they shall not be changed. No matter what your excuse is. I suggest you change your seating so that you can start this project."

I sighed and stood up, making my way over to the now empty seat next to Error. "Hey Inkblot." He said, shifting his books to the side so that I could do my work.

"My name is Ink. You know that."

He grinned at me. "Do I?"

I rolled my eyes and looked down at my book. This seemed like a pretty serious project, all on Romeo and Juliet. What fun.

Error looked over at my work and laughed. "What?" I asked.
"Look at all the work you do! Teachers pet, man this project should be easy." He chuckled at my expression. "Alright, let's just get this started."

---Time Skip----------------------

The bell rang and we had only done around half of the project.

"Now class this is due on Monday and tomorrow is the weekend. So I suggest you either arrange with your partner to meet up somewhere or split the rest of the project work in half. Class dismissed."

I scrambled after Error as everyone left the classroom. "Ink this way." He said, gripping my arm and dragging me down the corridor with him.

"Where are we going?!?!" I squeaked, running faster to try and catch up with him. He didn't answer and continued dragging me down the hallways until we reached the field.

I realised where we were going now. Nightmare and the others were waiting. Dream was there along with Silver, obviously trying to find a way to split the project with Killer and Dust.

"Oh, Error. Who's that you've got with you?" Nightmare called.

Error huffed and dragged me up to them. "This is my project partner."

"Oh you poor thing."

I rolled my eyes and looked to the side. To be honest, I felt fairly nervous being around these guys. I looked over at Dream and Silver and I could tell they were feeling the same. It kind of felt like we'd just been upgraded in reputation or something. I could see kids eyeing us as they walked past on the field.

"Well Killer can just come round ours on the weekend for the project." Nightmare said to Dream whilst poking him with a tentacle.

Dream looked over at Killer. "Oh yeah, heh. Why didn't I think of that?"

Nightmare rolled his eye and turned to Killer. "Saturday or Sunday?"

Killer didn't say anything.

"Uh, earth to Killer?" Nightmare said, waving a tentacle in front of his face.

"OH! Umm Saturday!" Killer squeaked, braking out of his trance.

"Weirdo." I heard Nightmare mutter.

I looked at Error. "I know about as much about Romeo and Juliet as I know how Nightmare works." He muttered.

"So...you know nothing?" I asked.

"Yup. Pretty much."

I rolled my eyes and huffed. "Is there somewhere we could meet up on the weekend? Like the library or something?"

"That's boring." Error groaned.

"Well do you have a better idea?" I snapped, just wanting to just go to the oak tree with Dream. Blues probably wondering where we've got to.

"Unlock your phone and pass it to me." He said, holding out a hand.

I eyed him suspiciously. "Why?"

He rolled his eyes at me. "Just do it."

I slowly got my phone out of my pocket and typed in the password. "Here." I muttered, passing over my phone to him. "Don't you dare break it."

He chuckled. "I won't, don't worry."

His fingers moved rapidly on my phone screen, it seemed like he was typing something down. After about a minute he smirked and handed my phone back to me.

I looked at it. "Oh."

He'd added a contact into my phone. He'd named it Error and that's about it. He hadn't added a profile picture or anything, just a name and the number.

"Text me and then I'll have your number." He said.

I nodded and went to text the word 'hi' to Error when I saw Dream out of the corner of my eye.

He was glaring at Error with a look I'd never seen before. It was not a good look. It was a look of hate and disgust. I've never seen Dream look at someone like that.

I glanced over at Nightmare for some reason. He had also noticed Dream's death glare towards Error. He looked at Dream thoughtfully then looked over at me, catching my stare.

He shrugged and I looked back over to Dream. He moved his gaze from Error to me and instantly his face relaxed and smiled at me. I nodded at him and turned at the sound of Dust and Silver arguing.

"I don't want to do that part of the stupid project!" Dust said.

"Well you have to do something!" Silver shot back.

"Your the smart one that pays attention!"

"I'm more of a science girl. I'm not a Shakespeare person!"

"Well I don't know a single thing about Shakespeare!"

"Ugh, Why are you so frustrating!?!?" Silver groaned, kicking the grass with her foot. "You know what? Just, just write down anything about the play. Even if you make it up. I'll do all the work."

Dust laughed. "If you insist."

Silver growled under her breath and shot Dust a glare before storming off.

"BYE!" Dust yelled after her.

She spun around and flipped him off before running over to her group of friends.

"Yikes." Dust muttered. "She's feisty."

Killer laughed and slapped him on the back. "Yes she is mate. Yes mate."
