Chapter 5

I woke up next morning beside Kate, who was lightly snoring. The party was today. Why in the world did I agree to this? I sighed and hit Kate's face with my pillow.

"Wake up! We have to shop for dresses or an outfit or something"

She lazily got out of bed and after having a light breakfast, we got dressed and got some money from the green box before going out.

"Let's call Liz" Kate suggested.

We called her and met her at the door of the shop.

"You are gonna get a suuuper hot dress Liz" Kate said, spinning her around.

She giggled "Meh. Any dress is good"

"We will choose the dress for you because you will probably choose a super covered simple dress. You need to look HAWWWWTT"

"Ughh. Okayyy"

We got into the shop and chose some dresses for Lizzie.

She went into the changing room and tried on the first one, a beige dress with a plaid skirt.

When she came out, both Kate and I shook our heads. She looked like she was going to school. She rolled her eyes and went into the changing room again.

She came out with a burgundy short dress with a very revealed back and a bit of cleavage.

"Omg yess! You look so hot in that" said Kate.

"I look like a slut" Lizzie crossed her arms.

"No you don't Lizzie, wear that for us pleaseeee" Kate and I gave her puppy eyes.

"I hate you guys" she joked "Okay, I'll get it"

Lizzie and I now chose two outfits for Kate. Kate tried on Lizzie's outfit first. A black sleeveless shirt, dark grey bell jeans and a shiny and furry black jacket. It looked so good. Then she tried on mine, jean shorts with a chain and a white crop top with some sparkles. She chose the first one.

Finally it was my turn. I sat down on a couch while Lizzie and Kate chose outfits for me. I looked out at the window watching the cars drive by until Lizzie and Kate were done. I went into the changing room and tried a short silver sparkly dress with a bit of cleavage. When I came out Kate and Lizzie gave me a thumbs up. I rolled my eyes and went back into the changing room to try on the final outfit.

I came out with wide and slightly ripped jeans and a small light blue crop top that revealed my neck and had a lot of cleavage.

"Y/n?! When did you become the hottest person on the planet??" said Kate.

"Looks good" Lizzie commented.

"I'll get this one" I said, spinning around.

We paid for our outfits and went back to my house to get ready for the party. It would start in about three hours. We had a little snack and one by one we showered while the other ones got the outfits ready or made some final touches in the house for the party. Lizzie used the straightener to make her honey colored hair a bit wavy and I used it to curl my hair a bit. Kate left her dark very curly hair as it is.

We put our outfits on and started doing each other's makeup.

There was a bit less than an hour left for the party to start so we got the snacks ready and put out some cups and drinks all over the house so people could have it whenever they want.

I forgot to mention. My parents are rich so our house is very big, that's why everyone wants to have a party here. Everyone in the school and some outside people are coming to the party. I really hope they don't make a horrible mess... My parents will kill me if they don't find the house as they left it.

Half an hour later, some people who were early came in and helped us set the music and the disco lights. We played the music and more people came in. Minutes later the house was full of people dancing, drinking and making out with strangers, like in any teenage party. I locked my bedroom door and my parent's bedroom door so we had no drunken accidents in those bedrooms. I know a lot of teenagers lose their virginity in parties so I locked them just in case.

Only Lizzie and Kate know my PIN. Yeah. My room is unlocked with a PIN. I feel like it's safer and it looks cooler. We agreed for my room to be a comfort space for Lizzie if she was feeling overwhelmed. She could get in, lock the door behind her and open the window for fresh air. The whole gang came and we agreed to split up. Most of them to find cute people to make out with but I just needed a drink right now.

Is Ava going to come or did she say that she would come so Kate didn't ask again? I sighed and took a shot of vodka that burned my throat and made me feel a bit dizzy. Wow. That stuff is strong... I was walking towards the front door to get some fresh air when it opened revealing Ava with a short glossy sparkling pink tight dress.

My jaw dropped. She looked gorgeous.

"H-hi, w-welcome to m-my pa-party" I said.

"Thank you. You look great" she complimented me.

I cleared my throat and relaxed a little before answering.

"Thank you. You look so beautiful"

"Thanks. Care for a drink?"

"This way" I said, leading her to the living room.

Lizzie's POV

There are so many people here. I think my boyfriend is coming but he hasn't arrived yet. My phone buzzed with a text. It was Robbie.

Robbie <3: Hey babe! I'm going to be a bit late. I'll arrive in less than half an hour. I promise <3

Lizzie: Okay! I'll be waiting for you😘💕

I turned off my phone and sighed. The music is too loud and people are too close. I need fresh air... I went upstairs and put in the PIN to get into y/n's room. Usually it would be a 4 digit PIN but y/n wanted it to be harder to know the password so she changed it to 10 digits. I clicked the button in order. 4815162342 (A/N: Yes. I set your PIN muahahaha). The door clicked and I got in her room. I opened the giant window and sat on the border. It's a bit cold outside and the dress I'm wearing doesn't cover a lot but I honestly don't care right now.

I let the soft breeze of the night caress my skin and I closed my eyes letting my mind drift off. I heard a bang on the door and I almost fell out of the window. Oh my God, what's wrong with these people? I closed the window and climbed onto the bed.

I heard the beeping of the PIN pad and I felt better. Maybe y/n or Kate was coming to check up on me. The door clicked and a not so pleasant face appeared behind the door making me crawl back until my back hit the wall.

Not now please...

Ava's POV

When the taxi stopped in front of a mansion I had to double check the address. I looked at the paper napkin with the address and back at the mansion. It was correct. I paid and thanked the driver and walked up the small hill to the front door. I opened the door and almost bumped into y/n. She looked so good in that blue outfit and wavy hair cascading down her shoulders. She offered me a drink and this week had been a bit stressful so... how could I say no?

She served vodka shots and I took two. The liquid burned its way down my throat and my head spun around before everything went back to normal. I was just a little bit dizzy. Enough to party. Y/n took one and made a face as she swallowed, making me laugh. She laughed along with me. Her laugh is so genuine and beautiful. I could listen to it all day, it would be my favorite song, a melody to sing along to...

"Let's dance! She shouted over the loud music"

We went to the dance floor and let our bodies move at the beat of the music. She closed her eyes and kept on dancing. She looked so calm and energetic at the same time when dancing. What is this feeling in my stomach...? Butterflies?

Lizzie's POV

Marley came in and her cheerleaders behind her. Why me? Why is this happening to me? And why now? Did they see me put in the PIN? Why didn't I check that no one was looking before putting it in? Marley's red dress stood out among her cheerleaders' black dresses.

"Well, well. Lizzie" Marley started.

"What do you want Marley?" I couldn't back up anymore. My bare back was pressed against the cold wall.

"I know your little dark secret so you will do EXACTLY as I say" she said.

"What secret"

She took the leather jacket that I immediately recognized out of her purse.

"Familiar?"

I didn't say anything. I just looked at her with hate in my eyes. I could feel some tears wanting to get out of my eyes but I aggressively pushed them back.

"Now. You are going to get your friend group out of OUR table at the cafeteria or your secret will be literally everywhere" She wickedly smiled.

"Nod if you understood all the terms" said Scarlett.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and slowly nodded. They laughed and got out, closing the door behind them. That is when I lost it and let all the tears I had been holding on to stream down my face. Why is Marley like that? Why would someone blackmail me like that? And Why is life so fucking hard??

I laid down on the bed and cried for what felt like hours. I heard a soft knock on the door. I didn't care about anything anymore. I heard some muffled talking behind the door. I think it's Kate and Robbie. Someone put the PIN in and closed the door behind them.

"Lizzie? What happened?" my boyfriend softly asked me. It was him out of all people that my secret would have more consequences with. I couldn't let him know...

He wrapped his arms around me and I put my head on his shoulder, sobbing uncontrollably. Marley was going to ruin my life if she told someone, especially him. I can't lose him. He is so sweet and such a good person. I-I can't...
