Georges POV

I stood on the roof, with a L115 A3 sniper rifle, looking through the scope of any movement along the perimeter fence or the approaching roads, I don't know why I haven't decided to leave but I think it's because there is nowhere to go.

I saw a glint on one of the approaching roads and see a military grade Humvee driving down the road, I head to the gate, 'maybe some of the lads have survived, but I haven't seen any of the guards for weeks, they all left a week after their commanders disappeared, and the rumours of dead people walking about, TV reports, random radio calls and fleeing civilians, it scared some of the men, they fled in panic for their safety or for there families, I don't mind though, I don't have anything left to worry about, I know my family are probably dead, most of them died in a car accident, my brother died whilst serving with the battalion in Afghanistan, then I was sent here to deal with my grief and loss, as they all died in two days of each other, I couldn't go to there funerals.

I ran to the gates, I saw that they were good people, and decided to trust them, now I'm eating some pizza with them in the cafeteria, they told me about the school,their travel to Saya's house, then the zombies attack, I was surprised about the EMP attack, but this place was made to withstand a lot of EMP and this place was far away from the strike zone, they were looking for their parents, found them in a safe zone a few weeks ago, but that was also overrun, I looked down, "I'm sorry about your lose" I said, the leader, Takashi, nodded, "it can't be undone" he said, then Rei asked, "what about your family ?"

"Well... My family were killed in a car crash, a couple of months before this happened, only me and my brother were left... My brother, Simon, he... He was Killed In Action a couple of days after the car accident, I was sent here to deal with my grief, I don't have any family to worry about anymore" I say, "I-I'm sorry.. I shouldn't hav..." I cut her off, "it's ok, you didn't know, besides, me and my brother knew the risks, and are ready to make the ultimate sacrifice, if need be" I said, smiling.

"Hey, what are those two colours for ?" Said Alice, pointing to a small box, it has red on left of the box and yellow in the right half.
"These ?, well it's our regiment flash, (FYI, this is the flash for another regiment, the Royal Anglians, not the Yorkshire regiment, I chose this flash as it is kinda like the best one, but it stands for all regiments) and it means 'Blood before Dishonour' or as you would now it as, Death before Dishonour" I said, "well, that is a valued trait" said Saeko, "from the Katana, and the choice of dress, it would seem that you are one in the way for Honour and Dignity, right ?" I said, she nods, "my father taught me, I was given this sword by Saya's father" she replied, "why didn't you leave here ? And where is everyone else ?" Asked miss Shizuka, "well, the outbreak scared a lot of the men, some were deployed to help with things, but the reports on the TV and the radio signals meant that shit hit the fan, they left this place, either to go to their families like you, or to save themselves. And since the commanders just left, it turned into hell, the discipline went out the window and guards abandoned their duty, I was ordered here, so I, as a soldier, obeys my orders and stands at my post, I have nothing to lose so I can't be afraid, I honour the memories of my family and bfellow troopers alike and I live to serve, and follow my orders" I explained.

"You really are the real deal" said Hirano, "trust me, I'm not the best soldier, but I think I am capable, there is few hangers I haven't been into yet, and I overrode the security lockdown with the commanders keys and passwords, heck, I'll take you to the armoury and vehicle Storage later" I said, I trust them enough.
Alice yawned, "is there anywhere i can sleep ?" She asked, "yeah, there is a lot of empty bedrooms that were dormant before I got here, take a pick" I said.

After 20 minutes, we parked up the Humvee, Saya and Alice were asleep and Shizuka was looking in the Medical bay, "I guess you would be here since your a nurse" I said, then Hirano laughed, I then said "fortune favours the brave" in English, Hirano looked to me, and so did Saeko, Rei and Takashi, "what did that mean ?" They asked, "it means Fortune favours the brave" said Shizuka, we all looked to her, "so, you speak English as well ?" I said, "what ?!, since when did you know English ?" Said Rei, "well, there was this cute guy a while back, when I started my medical course, and.. I find English men really cute, if I'm honest, so I learned a bit of English, I'm fairly good at it too" said Shizuka, "what happened with the guy ?" Saeko asked, "it turns out that he was gay, so that dream died quickly" she replied, smiling and blushing.

"Hahaha, that's classical, but anyway, that's my regimental motto" I said, then we headed to the armoury, this would be exciting, I think Hirano would like this.
