Yūdokuna Hikari
Yosafire's POV
It was unreal to me. I can't move and this is the first time I have even been frozen in shock. Ivlis stood in front of me. Taking the blow for me, yet I could do nothing but stare at what stood before me. I felt the sudden grab on my arm as Ivlis started to lose what strength he still had. Tears were slowly falling down his face as he went to his knees and tried to keep consciousness but was failing majorly. Blood trickled down the corner of his mouth as I stared at the molten gold eyes. Those eyes. They were filled with sorrow, regret, relief?
Everything seemed to happen so fast as he fell unconscious as he collapsed against me, nearly dragging me to the ground. It was unreal to me. "Mother!" Licorice ran up to where I stood and slowly picked Ivlis up from me. He sacrificed himself, took the risk of dying in able to help me prove a point about everything. He once risked my life and now he........he saved my life this time around. I looked at the tear-stained face of Licorice and saw what it truly look like to have a family. To give up anything and receive love in return, nothing more...... nothing less. Gulping I looked at the man once more.
"I'm surprised that you did that, Ivlis, not only that you are a failure but you've grown soft as well," he said in a darker tone, it felt as if something clicked but before I could act there was a sudden cool breeze as vines were surrounding us. "Now~ Now~ shall we get started with the meeting and catch up, it has been a while since all Gods and Devils were in the same place. shall~ we~ play~," I turned my head and saw Satanick. So he was here as well. Lenix huffed and crossed his arms as something clicked in my mind. "Wait, what about you, Lenix?" I asked as Lenix's vibrant light blue eyes fell to me.
"I am bound by duty and tend to stay that way," Lenix looked over at the fake God, "unlike him, I will get my revenge for you taking my God's life. You're the reason why you destroyed so many lives and bonds..... Siralos...... you've committed high treason and objection of justice...... I will take your life when the time comes." This now Siralos gasped and took a step back. Lenix glared at Siralos, Siralos was nervously shaking, these people they were lied to, for so long. Yet no one realized till now, and all it took, was someone that they haven't seen for so long to finally speak up. One thing leading to the other.
Shaking my head I looked over to Ivlis's form and kneeled beside Licorice and gently took Ivlis's claw into my hands. There was still warmth in them. He was still alive, but barely. I felt the sudden tug at my heart as I realized he was still fighting though he's badly injured. I felt unreal all in that same moment as Licorice spoke up, barely above a whisper, "mom always told me that he regretted everything that he did to your guy's world.... if he could even go back and change the past than he would and hopefully you would be happier but instead we're stuck in Limbo of all the past mistakes."
I looked up at Licorice then back down to Ivlis then to the person that truly hurt everyone. Siralos. Gritting my teeth I stood up and glared at this short man. He was no God more like a human dictator. "You caused so much grief yet you stand your ground, such a dictator in the eyes of humans. But today I won't sit back any longer, today I stand before everyone once more and proves to the fact of the rightful place as the Devil of the Sun," a mellow and harsh female voice called out. I whipped my head to the shadows and saw a figure walking out. It was a female figure with a long flowing dress, almost like a mixture between a kimono and a Victorian fashion dress.
Vibrant purple hair with a crown of purple flames. A blue vibrant mask, and the color schemes of blue and purple. The dress dragged along the ground as this lady got closer and closer to us. "You lied and got away with it for so long, I see my curse took effect but you quickly silenced my curse's words by dictatorship and making so much pain.... but soon that will all end soon," the woman spoke softly now as she looked over at Lenix, "my illness has gone away..... turns out my illness was caused by the betrayal of Siralos and the Red Sea's doing, however, I am well now cause today everything is changing for the better." She was beautiful in a way.
"H-how, how are still even alive," Siralos spoke, "the poison should've killed you!" The lady chuckled and opened her arms wider, "have you forgotten, I am the Devil of Poison nothing can affect me than myself. You've just admitted your own treason. You've admitted your own sins," she walked closer and stood just a few feet away from Siralos, towering over the man, "it's time that they know the truth." It seems that all this time things weren't as they seemed. Things escalated from there as Siralos tried to take a swing at the Lady as well but all she did was holding up her hand and seemed to erect a barrier.
Siralos got angry and hit the barrier several times as I looked down at Ivlis. I could see the color starting to drain from him, he's starting to give up, starting to die. Without much effort, I kneeled down and took Ivlis's paling claw into my hand as I noticed the sudden coldness from him. "You can heal him," I jumped and looked up at the lady, "sister was a God of healing in which means you have the ability of healing as well. You can save him and prove to everyone that the only lies that are being told are from Siralos and not from anyone else." I looked up over at the lady then down at Ivlis.
But my vision started to change and become more and more translated and more and more like threads of power and essence, like as if I'm looking at yarn. "You can see them, can't you? The threads of life.... you can detangle them and find the one that needs to be meld together and heal that in which many would call impossible to heal," I heard the lady's voice say as I reached out and slowly touched Ivlis's chest. There was a thread brighter than the rest that was slowly starting to lose its light.
That must be the one that needs to be meld. Lightly touching the thread I could feel the wetness of the blood seeping from the wound. I could feel the natural instinct within me as I felt that power seep out and I could feel the flesh and muscle heal and stitch itself together. It felt amazing and warm as my vision started to fade back to normal. I could hear the raspy breathing of Ivlis as I slumped due to the extent of power I had used in able to heal Ivlis.
Whipping my brow I looked over to see shocked expressions from everyone. "What?!?!" I heard the sudden rash and loud gasp from Kcalb. The lady chuckled and smiled at me, "does that prove that she is my niece, is that enough evidence to convince your minds?" Justim from what I was taught in school took a step forward to me and looked at me before holding out his hand. "I see now, there is a very similar resemblance of Mother Phoenix, I may have been a very young God but I know that talent anywhere from a mile away," he smiled and gestured me to take his hand, "come now lets get you changed and in much warm attire cause this is no way for a meeting such as this to be attended too."
I looked up at his hand before slowly and hesitantly took his hand and slowly stood up. "Satanick isn't your ex-wife with you today?" Justim asked as he looked over at Satanick as Satanick sighed and nodded his head slowly. "Yeah," Satanick spoke as he shot a look of disgust over at Siralos, "I'll go try and find her so that way we can get on with the meeting, however, I'm very upset that all of this time we were the fools in this game of chess."
Frowning, I think I understood everything as Justim lightly tighten his hand around mine. "It's good to see your still alive Yūdokuna Hikari, it's been a long time," Justim spoke softly as he looked over at Lenix, "I presume that you have kept her safe all these years, Lenix?" Lenix nodded his head as he shifted his weight and looked over at Siralos as his twin katana's were posed for fight within a matter of instincts took him towards defending anyone.
Siralos growled and kept slashing at Yūdokuna's barrier. But the barrier held strong and held fast that I couldn't even figure out how she was able to erect something that powerful. Well, I guess she is a Devil and has all that raw power built up and was waiting for the right moment to be able to show everything that has been given a chance to explode. Without a doubt, I looked back to where Licorice was rubbing Ivlis's back as Ivlis was coughing and trying to figure out why he was still alive.
Satanick walked off and went towards the other hallways as Yūdokuna still held her ground..... while Siralos kept attacking the barrier. Idiot. Why doesn't he give up? "It's alright, Yūdokuna is quite the strong Devil, she's more aged even more than Kcalb so she can hold him off and tire him out," Justim spoke softly, "it's just sad that we lost two very important Gods within the same incident....... and who could've guessed that the reason and cause of this all was the one person that was only centimeters away from you." A little confused by this I looked up and saw a sorrowful look in his eyes.
Does he mean my parents? So that truly does mean that everything that I've been seeing in my dreams is true? I am a daughter of two Gods. Two entirely different Gods. Frowning I looked over at the concept of everything as I looked once more at my crucifix and then gently picked it up and took it off. The more and more that I think about it, I never had once taken off not even for bed. Just why is this crucifix so important to me. I have had this crucifix ever since I was little. I can't remember where I got it or whom I got it from.
SIghing, I held the crucifix once more and placed it back on my neck. Gently holding the cross closer to my chest and patted the cross and made sure that it was securely placed close to my heart. "Your father would always carry a cross around. That was his relic. A silver and beautiful crucifix that would always stand out and make it known that his power was to put souls to rest," I jumped as I looked over to see Yūdokuna standing there, "Me and his Devil tried our hardest to match-make your mother and father. Though we weren't expecting all of this to happen. I miss sister very much, but I will protect my only niece to the very core."
She was sincere about her claim as she used her barrier to push Siralos back, flying into a wall, knocking him unconscious. "That should handle him for a while," Yūdokuna said softly, " but for now my concern is you, my little niece, you are in great danger and the fact that all that has happened is what concerns me the most. They almost had you but without them knowing your true name you were safe from the slave inbound spell." I stood there shocked, I was going to be enslaved, but since Yosafire isn't my real name then that saved me from being enslaved.
