The Rise of the Dead

~~Lenix's POV~~

I held the princesses close to me as I listened to her breathing. She acted like she was older yet her facade crumbled as of tonight. Tonight she was weak. So much has happened within a rushed amount of time. Her mentality is not realizing the rush and suddenly shut down on itself as I could feel her slump against me. She had fallen asleep against me. Humming lightly as I stood there being the steady base here for her. Sighing softly I gently picked up the young princess and made my way over to the couch that was in the room.

Setting the girl down and grabbing the shawl from off the back of the couch to cover the girl. "She's a perfect match from both Lord Kur and Lady Kanro," I heard from behind me as I turned to see Yosaflame standing behind me. "Flame? Is your brother alright?" I straightened myself as I turned away from the girl. "He's resting for now," Yosaflame gave a solemn look, "And as for the information coming from the conference room. Not all are being discussed. I fear that many shall lose respect for each other. They have different views, views that can be altered and corrupted. As the only one that still remembers the God of Death, I believe you should give your common sense into their dispute. Lady Kanro and Lord Kur need to be brought back to the light or else great divide will happen."

Yosaflame's gaze narrowed. His red eyes held much stern meaning. It is true that Lord Kur and Lady Kanro never truly liked such hate or violence. Despite what threatened them they have always kept the peace and kindness they held dearly. Sighing once more I nodded my head knowing how deep Yosaflame's words ran. He never really sugar-coated anything, so his words stung that even could bring tears to those who were corrupted to the core; cry. I gave a weak cough as I nudged my head to the young princess. "I'll stand watch as you speak your mind to those who think differently," Yosaflame closed his eyes as he took off his glasses and took out a rag from his tux before wiping his glasses off.

I knew he kept his promises as I started to walk out of the room. "Very well," I started as I reached the threshold, " I'll go and speak my words. Make sure no one else enters this room." Yosaflame nodded his head as he placed his glasses back onto the bridge of his nose. Exiting the room I walked towards the massive throne room or rather the council room if memory serves me correctly. The massive council room doors came upon sight. Giving a light knock on the dark oak doors. There was a very sudden silence as the doors creaked open. There stood the God Justim. I knew that they didn't expect to be interrupted by a mere angel. Excluding me, "pardon but may I enter?" I spoke sternly and smoothly. Justim looked inside before facing me again, "we are in mid-" I interrupted the god, its never obedient to disobey or interrupt a god or devil but I did, "I am aware that this discussion is about Lady Kanro and Lord Kur. I must be involved in what is being discussed about my god. My devil may not be present so in which I can involve clear facts for my god and devil."

Justim's eyes widened as he took a step back and let me into the room. Walking inside the room I saw that Yudokuna was in the center seemingly pissed and ready to just at the Devil of the Pitch Black as the devil in question had a snarky grin on his face. "Mi'Lady Yudokuna may I know why you have intentions to beat the living sanity out of the Pitch Black Devil?" I asked knowing full well what was going to come next. But it came from one in which I did not expect, "My idiotic brother made an 18+ comment about her and mentioned that the unity of the both Kur and Mother Phoenix did must've been loud in bed when Furea was conceived." I gave a wide-eyed look over to the God of the Rainbow World, just above the Pitch Black world, Fumus. So Lord Satanick made Lady Yudokuna angry with the sex talk. Sighing deeply as I looked over at the other God's and Devil's and saw that most were shaking their heads.

Walking up to Lady Yudokuna I stood to the side as I whispered into her ear, "Yosaflame spoke about the heavy disagreements about Lord Kur and Lady Kanro?" She nodded her head as she peered to the side towards at me and whispered back, "Yes, there's a few that think bringing back Kur and my sister can cause harm to the balance or more dire things. But the majority of it is due to the disappearance of the sea king and only leave one of two daughters in charge of the whole sea kingdom. And the Land King is nothing more than a talking robotic head. And that the Previous Great Magician of the Sea gave his life to seal away the "red" sea and left his infant child that is currently grown-up and protecting the home she grew up in. They're worried that this resurrection will cause chaos for the sea once more even though it has already happened. The young witch has proven that she can protect her sea without giving up her life."

She rolled her eyes as she pulled out her fan and opened the fan covering her mouth while mumbling. Rolling my eyes as well I looked around once more and saw Justim sat back down, "so returning to previously discussed. I think we should wait on the resurrection for both Kur and Kanro. Too much is at stake at the moment and-" I raised my right hand, "Yes Lenix?" I lowered my hand and cleared my throat. I looked at Lady Yudokuna as she nodded. "May I say that your opinions are invalid? Though you worry about the corruption of others. As a witness first-handly, I know the full story for the roots of the corruption. It seems like it is coming from a witch that has found a forbidden spell book. And is now using such forbidden spells to create the corrupted groups."

There was silence in the room. Good, I have their attention and they are thinking over my words. "With such forbidden spells who knows what this witch can accomplish. However, I know for several facts that Lord Kur has the power to override the forbidden spells and has hidden the book before. He knows the most serve ones by heart. He knows the counter ones as well. Just imagine without knowing that a witch has an extremely forbidden book and is causing this. Reviving Lord Kur and Lady Kanro are important examples. Lord Kur knows more about the dead than everyone in this room combined. Our focus is getting Lord Kur and Lady Kanro back," I semi-yelled as I let my emotions run off the chain that I had kept on for so long, "Lord Kur can solve this corruption. He has the resources to stop this, don't give excuses we need both of them, NOW!"

The room was silent, deathly silent. I struck the core. Good, they need to be on their toes. Justim stood up and sighed looking at me, "And Kur knows these's spells as if its a nursery rhythm?" I nodded my head, "Very well since we got Kur's relic in front of us we will revive his physical form tomorrow by noon. Now since it's very late in the night, sleep well and we'll discuss everything in the morning. Good night everyone," Justim spoke softly as he rubbed his eyes. I knew everyone in this room was tired and stressed as everyone stood and a chorus of "good night" sounded throughout the room.

As everyone left the room, I gave a heavy sigh and slumped a bit. "That was very truthful from you Lenix," I looked towards Lady Yudokuna and gave an exhausted smile, "that was enough to convince the rest. Yosaflame knew your voice would reach those who refuse to listen. Very scheming but what is not in his agenda. He's good at what he does," she closed her fan and tapped her fan against my arm in condolence as I looked at her. Lady Yūdokuna is right though, Yosaflame was a schemer and knew that the God's and Devil's would listen more to me than Lady Yūdokuna. He knew too well, hell, he knew that this would happen or did instincts tell him. He is one to never sugar-coat anything he does so this was rare. He would be the first to scold everyone in this room yet he made me come.

"Pardon me, Lady Yūdokuna I have to return to Princess Furea's room to relieve Yosaflame who took my place watching over the princess," I bowed to Lady Yūdokuna as I heard the wind blowing as she opened her fan once more. "Very well, I shall be heading to my room for rest let Yosaflame know he can rest easily and visit his brother before standing guard like he normally does," I could hear her sigh, "I swear he is as stubborn as a mule," she mumbled under her breath. I resisted the urge to chuckle at her spewl of words. I backed away and stood up. "Very well, good night Lady Yūdokuna I shall awaken Princess Furea at the rise of dawn and meet in the ritual room like promised as before," I spoke softly as she turned around and nodded her head while walking away. Sighing I turned around and walked back to the room as I kept thinking of what was on Yosaflame's mind or how he knew all of this, I guess I'll have to ask him when I return to the room.
