An Unbreakable Love
Yosafire's/Furea's POV
It was unbelievable about what I saw in front of me. Every God and Devil sitting right in front of each other. It seemed too good to be real as Yūdokuna gently lead me to the front and Yosaflame stood guard beside her as she gestured me to sit down. Sitting down, I could feel many eyes on me as I looked down in my lap, I wanted to avoid their stares.
"Greetings, fellow Gods and Devils," Yūdokuna announced, her voice ringing through the room, "today we have discovered that many secrets were kept and buried for so long. But not anymore, it is time that we know the full truth to what happened so long ago. I, Yūdokuna Hikari, former Devil of the Sun have some secrets that I kept in able to protect those who I hold dear to me... My sister has also kept secrets but no more will it hide... Kur and my sister were courting each other before the news of the Demi-God and the birth of the Red Sea. When the Demi-God was discovered, Kur took action and sealed the Demi-God away but he could not do anything for the poor souls of the dead. So he concealed them, for the time being, however, something released them. They targeted my sister due to the reason of her being the main source of life at the time. But due to recent events, we have recovered the real Siralos. Only he knows what happened that fateful day where we lost two very important beings in this circle."
The doors opened as I saw Lenix helped a frail male into the room. "Ah, Siralos, you're alright," Yosaflame went to meet them in the middle of the room. The male looked up as the color in his eyes were dulled to the brim of gray, "b...brother? Is that really you?" His voice sounded very harsh and weak. Yosaflame met them in the middle of the room as he helped Lenix hold the frail male up straight. "B...but I thought 'he' killed you, brother?" this new Siralos sounded more fragile than the very core of the high esteemed Siralos that attacked Ivlis.
"Lady Yūdokuna hid me away making the darker version of you think I was dead as I sent a copy of myself to hide the princess from 'their' hands," Yosaflame spoke softly as he helped Siralos sit on the chair that another demon set there, "brother I know this is going to be hard but we need you to tell us everything that happened, that you remember, on the day of the 'deaths' of the Lady Mother Phoenix and Lord Kur?" Siralos nodded his head as he groaned in pain as he sat up and looked up at us.
"Just how much did the eroded side tell you, Lady Yūdokuna?" Siralos asked as he looked over to me and gave a wearily and soft smile. "The imposter didn't give words only after a few beatings it started talking, however, it self destructed before anyone could get more information out of the creep," Yūdokuna hummed lowly as she looked over the quiet room, "anyone objects for the former head angel of the Sun to speak of term of truth? If not, please hold the harsh words or smart comments to yourself until told otherwise," Yūdokuna spoke loud and clear as no one dared to say a word, "go ahead Siralos, the stand is yours." Siralos nods as he cleared his throat and began, "I'll start back to where I first became eroded in the first place:"
~~Siralos's POV {Past}~~~
Walking down the path towards the castle I noticed something strange in the distance. My curiosity got the better of me as I flew closer to the area. Landing down within the woods I could see darkness even though this world was the realm of the sun. Something didn't add up as I walked further, a nagging sensation pulled me to call for backups but I pushed it aside. I'm strong enough for this on my own.
"In the name of the Goddess of the Sun, Mother Phoenix," I shouted into the shadows, "I demand you show yourself or else I'll—" Before I could finish I was pinned against the formation of a soggy mass. Gasping and choking for air I saw a massive figure in front of me. Covered in gallons, which seemed impossible, of blood. I could smell the stench of blood so strong that it made me just want to pass out from the massive strong stench.
"Who dares order me around, "his breathe smelled even worst as I held my breath, " I take orders from no one................. I'll kill everything and everyone you hold dear~." I couldn't stay awake any longer as I pass out after that.
Upon awakening, my body felt heavy and weak. Pools of blood surrounded me. Gasping in shock I frantically checked myself for any wounds and found none. Sighing in relief I stood and headed home, unknowing that everything was endangered due to my recklessness. Days upon days passed as I began to notice the changes.
There was a red patch forming around my right eye as I knew that wasn't supposed to happen in the slightest. I didn't wish to worry Lady Mother Phoenix so I hid the discoloration from brother, Lady Yudokuna, and Lady Mother Phoenix. But hiding it from the Wendigo familiar that Lady Mother Phoenix was nearly impossible. The Wendigo was highly educated and well aware but after bribing the Wendigo he promised to keep his mouth shut for now.
Well, then came around Kur, The God of Death. He was a relaxed God and very kind despite the rumors about him. But also his title. He doesn't mind such rumors just feels heartbroken by such cruel things said about him. "Sadly he's being eroded away slowly but surely," I remember coming from the God of Death's lips one day, "it's a curse that I cannot completely rid of but I can slow it down to a point where he could still live a longer life than the next century."
"How terrible and there's nothing else we could do?" My Lady would always ask as Lord Kur shooked his head. I bowed my head as I paid my respect and Lord Kur cast the spell weeks later but I knew something was amiss but I couldn't remember much only after I heard we were under attack before I could move I felt like something tackled me and placed me into the pitch blackness. Somewhere cold. Somewhere I know no one would find me.
~~End Past~~
Yosafire's/Furea's POV
"That's all I remember Lady Yudokuna and as far as I can tell I have nothing left to say," the frail Siralos spoke softly bowing his head. It was sad to see that the Siralos in front of me had to deal with all that but had no one to turn to when he was entrapped wherever he might've been. Just being trapped in general felt wrong and the sneaking loneliness that comes with it. The fear. Shaking my head as I tried to get the thoughts out of my head. So this man sitting in front of me is the Siralos from long ago so the other Siralos was a fake.
Ivlis had his reasons but why torture and take away. Was the fake that sadistic in a way of taking away hope and freedom? I held my head as I being to feel a stinging pain in my head. I was overthinking the situation but I wanted to know everything. "I see thank you Siralos we'll let you rest for now," my aunt spoke beside me, "however, my memory isn't as good with the events that unfolded but if we find out what happened then surely we can work a way of finding my sister and the God of Death!"
Yudokuna spoke loud and clear as the others nodded and seemed to somewhat be distracted. Frowning I wanted to speak to many but I couldn't due to the caution around the area. If anyone else was a traitor how would I know or how would I be protected. A gentle hand was placed upon my shoulder as I jumped and saw it was Lenix. Of course, Lenix. He was my father's head angel before he disappeared so he's got to know something.
Sighing as looked everywhere and then looked back at the frail form of the real Siralos. It just didn't make sense now, why go through this much trouble or much thought. "Aunt Yudokuna?" I asked softly, "Why target them when they could have easily grabbed me and ran away?" If felt heavy in the room. "That is something I question as well my dear Furea but that is unknown to what they were truly after," Aunt Yudokuna broke the silence as Yosaflame came up behind and gently whispered into her ear. "Oh is that so?" Yosaflame nods. "Well, then I think we found a lead to where sister and Lord Kur is at shall we get down to business now?"
