Third Person

The bell rang for recess. Kids pushed their way outside, while others talked to their friends. Lockers were being shut and some students stayed inside the building.

If Cole was being honest, he was nervous to tell Morro and Lloyd about his powers. He had his mind filled with thoughts of possibilities that could happen. Too many, he lost track of have many possibilities there was.

Of course, Kai, Zane, Jay, and Nya were there to reassure him that nothing bad would happen. He calmed down a bit, but his nervousness returned when the bell rang, and it was time for recess.

"It's gonna be okay, dude," Kai reassured Cole. "Yeah," Jay said. "You don't have anything to worry about."

"Unless they just think I'm a freak," Cole said, to them, his nervousness building up. The others shook their head.

"Bro, if they didn't think Zane was a freak when he said he was a robot, I'm sure they won't say that you're a freak," Kai said, putting a hand on Cole's shoulder, and whispered when he said "robot."

"I guess so," Cole said, smiling a bit at Kai.

They soon reached outside. Many students talking to each other, hanging out, or just sitting on the benches, talking.

As Cole started to look around for Lloyd and Morro, someone yelled "BOO!" Cole shrieked as he turned around to see Morro laughing along with the others. "Not," Cole started. "Funny!"

"You shriek like a girl, man," Kai said between laughs.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Cole said before turning to Morro. "Where's Lloyd?" he asked. "I thought he was with you guys," Morro said, confused.

"Then where is he?" Nya asked.

"Split up! Jay and Nya you search back inside the building, Zane and Kai you check the field, me and Morro will check the back of the building," Cole said and everyone else nodded and went their way.

Cole and Morro started their way to the back of the building. It was silent for a bit before Cole spoke, "Hey, Morro, I kinda have to tell you something." "What is it?" Morro asked as they continued walking. "Well I-" Cole started but was cut off by a voice.

"What are you gonna do, weakling?!" Cole and Morro looked at each other before running to the back. What they saw angered them. A lot.

Lloyd was on the ground, his back against the wall, his sweater a little ripped, and in front of him were Nadakhan and his gang. From what Cole and Morro could see, Lloyd had a bruised arm and leg, and a cut lip.

As Morro was going to step up for his brother, Cole blocked his way with his arm and said, "I'll deal with this" and started to walk towards Nadakhan and his gang, with an angry face.

"Hey!" Cole yelled while Morro hid behind a nearby bush. Nadakhan and his gang looked at Cole. "Well, well, well..." Nadakhan said. "If it isn't Cole Failstone." Cole kinda winced at the harsh name he was called, but didn't care. "Leave him alone, Nadakhan! He's done nothing to you!" Cole said to him.

"Well, I'm just making sure that all mistakes are gone, including you," Nadakhan snarled. "Aren't you the reason why your precious mommy is gone?"

Cole breathed heavily. No one had mentioned his mom after her death. Well, at least his friends. But he was not just shocked. He was angry. Very angry.

"No. I'm. NOT!" Cole yelled. He stomped his foot in anger and without even knowing, he had summoned his elemental power. Rocks appeared out of no where from the ground and they hit Nadakhan and his gang in such speed.

Cole froze. Did...did I do that? Cole thought to himself.

Nadakhan stood up, rubbing his arm, where he got hit, and gave Cole a glare. "This isn't over Cole Freakstone!" he said before he and his gang retreated.

Cole stood still, processing that word. Freakstone...Freak...Freak... Cole's eyes went blurry. Cole quickly shook his head and wiped his eyes. He then remembered. "Lloyd!" Cole said and ran towards him.

Morro had saw everything, and was going to ask him what that was, but first, he had to make sure Lloyd was okay. He trailed just behind Cole.

"Lloyd. Lloyd! Are you awake?!" Cole frantically said, shaking Lloyd's shoulders, but not hard enough to hurt him. Morro kneeled down to Lloyd's level. "Bro...can you hear me?" Morro asked.

Lloyd weakly nodded, but they had just barely noticed it. Morro placed his hand on Lloyd's hood and gently pulled it down. It revealed his blonde hair and a slash cut on his eye. Thankfully, the cut wasn't that deep, and it looked like it could heal, but, the cut was still bleeding.

"Oh my god..." Cole gasped. "We need to get you to the nurse!" Morro nodded in agreement and carried Lloyd carefully. They ran into Jay and Nya inside, and gasped when they saw that Lloyd was beaten up badly.

Nya had texted Kai and said that Morro and Cole found Lloyd, but he was in bad shape and that they're all going to the nurses office. Kai texted back that he and Zane will be right over.

Knocking on the door frantically, the door opened to reveal a lady in about her 20's. She was the only one aside from Wu who was nice to Morro and Lloyd, so, when she saw Lloyd, she instantly got to work.

Waiting on some seats in the nurses' office, Morro was obviously worried. He was a nervous wreck. "It's gonna be okay, Morro," Cole said. "Lloyd's gonna be okay."

"I'm worried that he won't be okay," Morro said. "I'm afraid I'll lose him."

"You'll never lose him, Morro," Kai said. "We'll make sure of it."

Morro smiled at them before remembering the question he had to ask Cole. "Cole," Morro said. "Yeah?" Cole asked, hesitantly. "How did you do...that back at the back of the school?" Morro asked, remembering the events that happened.

"Wait what?" Kai asked, confused. "There was some...events...that happened," Cole said, not answering Morro's question. "Cole," Morro said sternly. "What the hell happened back there?" Cole sighed.

"I don't know...I really don't know! It just happened all of a sudden, I don't know why! I was just mad and I guess I just lost my cool and- and that happened!" Cole frantically replied, burying his face in his hands.

"Hold up! What happened?!" Jay asked. "We had found Lloyd, but, he got beaten up by Nadakhan and his gang," Morro clenched his hands. "I was gonna stand up for him, but, Cole said he'll take care of it. I couldn't hear much, but I saw some things. Nadakhan said something which made Cole mad and then all of a sudden, these rocks just appeared out of nowhere that hit Nadakhan and his hang! It was pretty weird."

Kai, Nya, Jay, and Zane looked at each other. "Cole, do you think that...?" Jay trailed off. "I don't know! It seemed like it! But I can't be sure!" Cole said. "Wait wait wait! What are you guys talking about?" Morro asked.

"You haven't told him yet?" Kai asked. "Told me what?" Morro asked as he grabbed his water bottle from his backpack. Cole gulped a little, but decided to tell him.

"Morro, I have this...type of power," Cole said. "What do you mean by "power"?" Morro asked and took a sip from his water bottle.

"I-I," Cole took a deep breath. "I have an elemental power. The Earth element."

Morro spit some of his water out, but not much. He then choked on the water and coughed quite little.

"Hey, are you...are you okay?" Cole asked, concerned. Morro coughed one last time and then nodded. "I'm fine," Morro replied.

At that moment the nurse came back to where they were sitting. "So, how is he?" Morro asked worried. "He's awake," the nurse said. At that, Morro and the others ran to where Lloyd was. Lloyd sat on a chair, hood down, holding an ice pack on his bruised arm and leg, and a big bandage for his eye.
