Jeffory's POV

I push thru Abby and my Mom, heading to my room (A/N: Abby is Jeffory's sister in this story!). I pout in my room, sorting thru my thoughts when there's a light knock on the door. 

"Who is it?" I grumble. 

"A-Abby." Her voice is frightened. 

"Abby? Why're you scared?" I ask, my tone softening.

I open my door to see Abby with bloodshot eyes. "M-M-Mommy and D-D-Daddy were fighting, J-Jeffy. It scared me.." She calls me Jeffy, a lot. 

I close my door, picking her up and hugging her. She rests her small chin on my shoulder, small whimpers escaping her mouth. Muffled yells make their way thru the door, all the way from downstairs. 

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! YOU DID THIS, WHAT ARE JEFFORY AND ABBY GOING TO THINK?" My Mom yells at my Dad.

"KIDS!" My Dad yells. 

I put Abby down, kneeling to her level. I wipe the tear that's running down her cheek "It's going to be ok, Abby. Stay up here, I'll handle it. Promise me you'll stay up here?" I say genuinely. My protective side shows, that's not as normal as you'd think. She nods in a response, "I love you, Abby." I kiss her forehead, getting up and walking downstairs to my fighting parents. 

"Where's Abby?" My Dad slurs. 

"Nowhere you'll be going." I snap. 

He gets angry, "WHERE'S MY DAUGHTER?" My Dad yells. 

"Why do you want to know?" I cross my arms. 

"BECAUSE SHE'S MY DAUGHTER." He continues on his rant. 

"AND SHE'S MY SISTER." I yell, protecting her. I can hear Abby's whimpers all the way upstairs, but I seem to be the only one to notice. 

"YOU'RE GOING TO TAKE ME TO HER RIGHT NOW OR YOU'RE GROUNDED, YOUNG MAN." My Dad threatens. I look over his shoulder, seeing my frightened Mom. 

"Then so be it. I'll be grounded. I'm not telling you where she is, I'd rather protect her than let her be with you." I snarl.

 My Dad pushes pass me, storming up the stairs. Into my room.

Abby's POV

I cry, fear running over me. 

"Daddy, please don't come up here." I whisper to myself, hiding under Jeffy's covers. 

I hear Jeffy standing up for me against Daddy, Mommy seems very quiet. I hear Jeffy's door burst open, and I start to shake, making the grip on his covers tighter. The covers fling off of me, standing there, Daddy. I scream. Jeffy and Mommy run up the stairs 

"ABBY!" Jeffy screams. 

He pushes Daddy away from me, picking me up and running out of the house. 

I grip onto the back of his shirt, "Thank you, Jeffy." I thank. 

"Anytime." Jeffy says. 

"W-Will Mommy be ok?" I ask. 

"She'll be fine, I promise." Jeffy replies. 

I hope that's a promise he can keep. I look back at our house, it disappearing as we get farther away. Jeffy stops, panting. He sets me down on a bench, overlooking a park. There's a lady with black hair and brown eyes. 

Jeffy seems to blush, "Who's that, Jeffy?" I ask, innocently, looking at him. 

"Jeffory!" The lady beams. 

"Aphmau!" Jeffy gets up, hugging her.

"Aph...Moo?" I ask, trying to pronounce her name. 

"I'm Aphmau, Jeffory's friend. You must be Abby, I've heard so much about you!" She picks me up, hugging me. 

"Hi, Miss Aph~Moo" I greet, happily. Aphmau puts me down 

"Want some ice cream?" She asks. 

"Yay, yay, yay!" I jump up and down. 

"Ok, c'mon." She grabs my hand, leading me to an ice cream car. 

"ICE CREAM!!" I squeal. 

Jeffy chuckles behind me, along with Aphmau. I order, the ice cream man handing me, Jeffy and Aphmau our ice cream. Aphmau takes her wallet out, attempting to pay but Jeffy puts the money out before her. 

"I got this." Jeffy says. 

I gasp, "YOU LIKE APH~MOO, JEFFY?" I ask, loudly. 

Jeffy blushes, scratching the back of his neck. Aphmau laughs, nervously. "Heheheh... Maybe..?" Jeffy confesses. 

"OOOOHhHHH! APH~MOO AND JEFFY SITTIN' IN A TREE, K I S S I N G." I tease. 

Jeffy and Aphmau are both blushing like crazy, chuckling nervously. "W-Well, Abby, I think it's time to go." Jeffy offers. 

"Nooo!! I wanna stay with Aph~Moo!" I whine. 

"Fine." Jeffy gives in, sighing. 

"YAYYY!" I squeal.

 We get our ice cream, and finish it within minutes. "Hey, you guys want to go to the pier?" Jeffy offers. 

"YAH YAH YAH!" I squeal again. 

"Sure." Aphmau smiles. 

"YAYYY! MISS APH~MOO IS COMING!" I say, cheerfully. Aphmau and Jeffy laugh, getting up.

 Jeffy picks me up, putting me on his shoulders "C'mon, Pumpkin." Jeffy says, as he's hoisting me onto his shoulders. 

"I'm flying! Weee!" I gleam. I put my arms up, pretending to fly. Aphmau and Jeffy both laugh, causing me to giggle as well. 

We finally reach the pier and Aphmau grabs Jeffy's hand, leading us to the photo booth. "This way!" Aphmau drags us. 

She pulls us into the photo booth, Jeffy sitting me on the seat then we take silly pictures. We get out of the photo booth a couple minutes later, and take the pictures. Jeffy and Aphmau split them, Jeffy giving me a couple of his. 

"Thanks, Jeffy!" I thank. He smiles in response. 

Jeffy hoist me back onto his shoulders, and we walk through the pier. Aphmau and Jeffy keep getting comments of them being a couple, and me being their kid. EW! We walk up to a game, where Jeffy tries to win me a teddy bear. 

"You guys are such a cute couple! And your daughter is so cute!" The worker gushes. 

"W-We're not dating, and she's not my kid..." Aphmau laughs nervously. 

"You two would be perfect together!" The worker continues. 

We play the game, the worker still gushing about us. Jeffy gives me a small teddy bear, but Aphmau puts it in her purse so I don't lose it. We continue to play games, get prizes and ride roller coaster and rides! We finally leave the pier, and it's about 8PM, so I'm pretty tired. Jeffy rents him and I a hotel, Aphmau coming with us. 

"Well, I had fun." Aphmau smiles, going through her purse. She gives me my teddy bear, along with a couple other things that the three of us had won. 

"Thank you for coming, Miss Aph~Moo!" I smile. 

"No problem." She smiles. 

"See you at school, Jeffory! Bye, Abby!" She waves, then leaves. Jeffy and I head to bed, watching TV until about 9PM, then I fall asleep in his chest while watching My Little Horses.

Jeffory's POV

We watch My Little Horses until Abby ends up falling asleep, while she's cuddled up on my chest. I kiss her forehead, turn off the TV and light then fall asleep.
