Aphmau's POV

"Aphmau..." Someone says in a taunting tone. 

"How do you know my name?" I ask, tears causing me to choke on my words. 

"You have no idea who I am, and what I'm capable of." The voice continues, in a more serious tone. He completely ignores my question. The owner of the voice comes to light. 

"W-Who are you?" I stutter, a wave of fear taking over me. 

"My name is McCloud." He introduces. 

"You already know my name." I say. 

"Indeed I do... You're probably wondering why you're here, and I'm going to answer that question," I'm not interested, "You're here because you are my everything. I need you in my life, and you'll learn to love me." McCloud continues. 

He turns the lights on, and the room is filled of pictures of me (And the ones with other people in them, the other person is scratched out), objects of mine that I lost long ago, poems and writings I wrote grades ago. 

"H-How long have you been watching me?" I start to become misty eyed. 

"7 years." He replies. "Since I was young?" I croak. 

"You'll learn to love me, Sweetie... Because I already love you." McCloud puts his index finger on my chin, lifting it up. 

"What do you want from me?" I ask coldly, trying to fight back tears. 

"I want you." He replies. 

"W-What do you mean?" My eyes jolt up to him. 

"I want you in my life." He smiles.

I don't return the favor, instead I give him a scowl. McCloud raises his hand to slap me, and I prepare for it, but there's a hand keeping it from hitting me. I open one eye to see a similar face. 

"L-Laurance?" I choke. 

I look at the floor and see McCloud laying there, then I look back up at Laurance to see someone else standing by him, Aaron. 

"Aaron." I whisper, getting up and engulfing him in a hug. 

I do the same to Laurance after I release Aaron, "Thank you." I whisper in Laurance's ear. 

"No problem." He whispers back, louder than I did. 

Aaron looks confused, but I ignore it and release from Laurance. I look and see someone coming our way. 

"He's right there, his name is McCloud." I point to McCloud, who seems to be passed out on the floor. 

I feel a hand around my ankle, pulling me to the stone floor. My vision start to get blurry, but only I know. McCloud looks at me, colliding our lips. Before I can do anything, everything's black.

Laurance's POV

I see Aphmau in a corner, scooting to the wall when a pirate-like man raises his hand to slap Aphmau. I grab his hand, twisting his wrist and pushing him onto the floor, rather harshly. Aphmau opens an eye, then opens both. 

Aaron comes up behind me, "Aaron..." She whispers, she hugs Aaron then me. 

"Thank you." She whispers. 

Her voice sends shivers down my side, "No problem." I reply, ignoring the chilling feeling. 

"He's right there, his name is McCloud." Aphmau points to McCloud. 

Before anyone can do anything, Aphmau's on the floor with McCloud kissing her. Anger grows over my body, I pull them apart, turning into my Shadow Knight form. Aphmau looks passed out, so Levin and Malachi pick Aphmau up, taking her out of there with Dmitri pinning McCloud to the floor. Aaron tries to hold me back, but I push him and Dmitri away from McCloud, picking McCloud up and pinning him to the wall. Releasing one hand from him, I get my sword, putting it at McCloud's neck. 

"HOW DARE YOU DO THAT." I yell. 

"Laurance, calm down." McCloud demands. 

"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?" I yell, louder this time. 

"I stalked Aphmau for 7 years, how could I not know?" He smirks. 

I punch him in the face, throwing him to the floor. 

"You don't have the guts to kill someone." McCloud taunts, blood trickling out of his mouth. He laughs as I put my sword to his neck. 

I push it in, it causing blood to form on the tip of my sword. He yelps in pain, but I stop before anything happens. 

"Like I said, you don't have the guts." McCloud smirks. 

I loose control, everything goes black. I can feel my body moving, but I can't see anything. The Shadow Knight has taken over.

Garroth's POV

Katelyn, Jeffory and I are side by side. 

"Katelyn, you get south, Jeffory, you get left, I'll get right." I command. 

They nod, going off in their different directions. I hear a loud yelp of pain, then a scream of terror after it. Must have been the kidnapper. I continue slashing the guards, with Cadenza at my side. Travis fights the southeast, Cadenza taking the northwest then Dante taking the southwest. We continue slashing people, until they're on the ground. They helplessly stay there, we didn't kill any, or if any are dead, I don't know at least. Cadenza, Travis, Dante, Jeffory, Katelyn and myself come to look at each other. 

"I think we got 'em all." Jeffory comments. 

"Agreed." Cadenza speaks up. 

"What should we do now?" Dante asks. 

"I don't know, but 3 of us should go check on the others." I suggest. 

"But, who?" Jeffory looks behind him. 

"JEFFORY, LOOK OUT!" Katelyn screeches. 

Jeffory whips his head around, but it's too late. Jeffory's already on the floor with someone on top of him. He has a sword to his neck. Katelyn tackles the figure, Dante, Travis and I running over. Jeffory gets up, rubbing his neck with Cadenza at his aid. Katelyn gets pushed off, Cadenza dragging Katelyn and Jeffory out of the building. I look at Dante, who has fear in his eyes. I nod, assuring it's ok. The figure runs at Travis. I push Travis out of the way, taking his place. I get a good glimpse at the figure. 

"L-Laurance?" I ask, shocked. 

He must be controlled by the Shadow Knight part of him. I look him in the eyes, signalling Travis and Dante to be on guard. 

"Laurance, look at me. This isn't you. Please, we need the real Laurance." I persuade. Nothing, "Cold shell." I mumble. 

Laurance puts his sword to my neck, allowing me to put mine to his. 

"Put your sword down." I command. 

Laurance doesn't budge. I try to push him off, but nothing works. Dante and Travis both push it over, the three of us tumbling on top of him. 

"What's wrong with Laurance?" Travis questions as we pin him down. 

"AARON!" Dante screams. 

Aaron comes rushing down the stairs, along with Dmitri and Malachi, "Where's Levin?" I ask.

 "Upstairs, watching over the kidnapper. His name is McCloud." Aaron replies. 

"Travis, Laurance's a Shadow Knight. The kidnapper must have angered him in someway, sending him into this state. He right now, has no control over his body. He can hear us, but he can't see us nor control himself." Dante explains.

"I-I'm.. S-Sorry." Laurance says, his voice not sounding corrupt. 

His eyes turn from baby blue back to a blood red, "He saw us, for a split second." I state. 

"Laurance! Stop!" We hear a voice call. It's Cadenza. 

Laurance turns his head in that direction. He turns normal at the sound of her voice, Travis and I falling on the ground, with Dante falling on top of Laurance. Laurance pushes Dante off of him and runs to Cadenza, them both rushing out of the building. I sigh. 

"INCOMING!" I hear Donna scream. 

More people come, attacking us. Kawaii~Chan jumps down, along with Donna and Amber. Malachi and Aaron assist us in attacking the other guards. Once they're down, we rush out of the place, all of us. We catch our breath outside, and Aaron does a head count. 

"We have everybody. I know that Laurance, Cadenza, Jeffory, Katelyn and Aphmau are in the car, they should be fine." Aaron counts everyone. 

We get into different cars, all fitting 5. I get stuck with Dante, Travis, Lucinda and Zenix. Some of the most annoying people out there. We head to Aphmau's house, Laurance, Aaron and myself ushering her upstairs. Aaron's holding her bridal style as we walk up the stairs. I look over at Laurance and he has a hint of jealousy in his eyes, but I nod, assuring him that nothing's happening. Both of us chuckle, then watch Aaron place Aphmau on her bed. 

"She needs rest, we should go outside or somewhere." Aaron says. Laurance and I nod, walking out of the room. 

"Guys, Aphmau is currently asleep, you can stay here or leave. The choice is yours." Laurance states. 

Katelyn leaves with Zoey and Cadenza to help her out with the emotional trauma of Jeffory. We watch TV for about 45 minutes when Zoey and Cadenza come back, they join in on us for about an hour until we see a tired Aphmau walk down the stairs. 

All of us crowd around her (We're a huge crowd), bombarding her with questions. Aaron pushes her out of the circle of people. I sit on the couch, not interfering with the mob. She sits down by me, laying her head on my shoulder and falling asleep again. 

I blush, everyone joining us in the living room. We all watch TV until we all eventually fall asleep. I turn the TV off, since I'm the only one awake after 3 hours of binge watching TV. I lay my head on Aphmau's, falling asleep quickly.
