Aphmau's POV

I wake up, with Aaron already awake. He realizes my awakening, then comes over to my bed 

"Hey, look who it is! The zombie has awoken!" Aaron jokes. I playfully punch him in the arm, then he gets ontop of me. 

"You asked for this." He smirks. 

"No!" I exclaim. 

He ignores my call for help, then starts tickling me. I uncontrollably giggle as he continues to move his fingers around me, ticking me. I kick my feet, trying to push him off of me. Our door burst open with our dad coming through it 

"Get off of her, and both of you, start getting ready. You have to leave in 20 minutes for school." My dad commands. 

Aaron sighs, getting off of me then lends me a hand, helping me get up. I rub the cobwebs out of my eyes, then shuffle to the bathroom. I look in the mirror and see a hideous sight. Bed hair.

 "OH LADY IRENE!" I yell, poking at my so called birds nest.

Aaron bursts through the door "APHMAU, I HEARD YOU YELLING, WHAT'S WRONG?" Aaron seems worried. 

"Look at this!" I place his hand ontop of my head. 

"I know." I mumble, taking his hand away. 

"I'm gonna leave you to that... Walk away slowly." He mumbles the last part, but I hear it anyway. 

He walks away slowly, then running when his back hits the door. I laugh to myself, then start brushing my teeth. After that, I run to Aaron and my's bedroom then rush thru the cluster of clothes in my drawer. Finally, I find the perfect outfit! An off the shoulder purple shirt, with a sleeve on the left side. Black leggings, with silver small-heel boots. I also have a white jacket with a wool hood (Wool on the inside), with the jacket stopping at my waist. The golden zippers keeping the pockets together. I run to the bathroom again, then brush out my birds nest into a shiny black body of hair. I put on a bit of makeup, adding mascara and winged eyeliner today, since it's my second day and all. I smile at my appearance, then rush downstairs with Aaron in his usual red jacket (Unzipped without a shirt covering his stomach and above) with ripped, black jeans and black sneakers. 

"Both of you, go, go, go! You're going to be late!" My Dad calls. 

Aaron and I grab our bookbags off of the coat hanger, then run out saying our usual goodbyes to our father. We start sprinting to school, knowing if we don't, we'd be late. Aaron is ahead of me, being the faster one out of the two of us (And the more athletic one). I give it all my speed to catch up to him, then running inside, barely beating him to the door. People give us strange looks as we're out of breath from running a few blocks without stopping, or, at least I'm out of breath, Aaron's used to this kind of thing. I wipe the fake sweat off of my head, making Aaron chuckle a bit, then we head inside and I beeline towards a drinking fountain. When I finish, I bump into Kawaii~Chan. 

"Hey, Kawaii~Chan!" I exclaim, happily. 

"Aphmau~Senpai! How are you?" She sounds more delighted than I do.

"I'm good, how are you?" I ask 

"Kawaii~Chan is so great!" She embraces me in a hug, then lets go of me. 

"Hey, Katelyn!" I look over Kawaii~Chan's shoulder. Kawaii~Chan turns around, her face lighting up more than before 

"Katelyn~Sama!" She greets. 

"Hey, Kawaii~Chan." She says in a usual tone. 

"What classes do you guys have?" I ask 

"English." They both say in unison.

 "Me too! We should go together!" I smile.

 "Kawaii~Chan would like that." Kawaii~Chan chimes in. 

"Sure." Katelyn replies.

We walk to class, talking about school, later in the day and other classes that we all have. We finally reach the English classroom, then I open the door, allowing Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn to go in first. I follow them and see one of the casanova's sitting right there. Laurance.

"Hey, Sugar!" He greets me. 

"Brownie." I reply, referring to his hair. 

He laughs, and the three of us sit behind him. Garroth walks into the classroom, taking a seat by Laurance, being followed by Dante. Dante smiles at me, forcing me to smile back. He turns his head to Laurance and Garroth's attention, sitting down by them. Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn and I talk until the teacher comes in. I scan the room, looking for Aaron, finding him by a girl with fiery hair, the colors getting lighter as her hair gets longer. He glances at me, smiling. I smile back, turning my attention to the teacher who opens her mouth. 

"Okay, students! Phones, tablets, computers, everything off! Or else they will be taken and you won't be given them back until the end of the day." The teacher commands. Everyone turns off their phones, and small tablets then directs their eyes to the teacher. 

"Today, we'll be learning about argumentative writing. Since we discussed everything yesterday, we will briefly go over yesterdays lesson, then I will let you all write your own essays of argumentative writings." She introduces. 

The teacher starts going over yesterdays lesson, refreshing us on the parts of writing, proper way to write argumentative pieces, and other parts of yesterday. After about 15 minutes, she's gone over all of yesterday and decides to have me pass papers. 

"Aphmau, since you're new, I want you to come up here and pass out the papers to get to know everyone. You too, Aaron!" She calls us up. 

Aaron and I glace at each other, with all eyes on us. We get up out of our seats then make our way to the teacher. 

"I'm Ms.Ivene, it's nice to meet you." She smiles at us, handing both Aaron and I notebook paper. We both nod, in a thanks to her then turn around 

"I get the left, you get the right." I mumble to him. 

He nods, and walks away to the right side of the class. We pass papers to the whole class, and in a blink of an eye, both of us are back in our seats. Laurance looks back at me, and I give him a weak smile. He nods, then looks at the girl with fiery hair with a look of concern growing on his face. He shakes his head a bit, then looks back at the teacher who gives us directions, then leaves us to do our own thing. 

(1 Hour Later)

"Pencils down!" The teacher exclaims. 

I put one last period on my sentence, then look up at her. 

"Time's up. Cadenza and Laurance, please collect the work." She calls, the girl with fiery hair gets up (Who I'm assuming is Cadenza) along with Laurance. 

He turns around after collecting Dante and Garroth's paper, putting his hand out for us to give him our paper. We do as he instructs, then he smiles and walks off. They both continue collecting papers until everyone's papers are in the teacher's hands with Cadenza and Laurance back in their seats. The bell rings. 

"Everybody, please collect your things, then you're free to go to your next class." Ms.Ivene smiles at us, directing her eyes at me, colliding us into eye contact. 

I pick up my binder, along with my notebooks then I head to the door. I put my hand on the knob when someone grabs my wrist. 

"Aphmau." Aaron says in a quiet voice, "I want you to meet someone." He whispers, then walks out of the classroom with me following him. He leads me to the girl with fiery hair, who I think is Cadenza. 

"Hi, I'm Cadenza!" She introduces, cheerfully.

"I'm Aphmau." I smile, putting my free hand out to shake hers. Instead of shaking my hands, she pulls me into a hug. 

This had been happening a lot at this school, I guess people here are huggers. She releases, and we start talking until we're interrupted by a voice. 

"Well, I see you've met my sister." The voice says, I turn around to see Laurance standing there. 

"She's your sister?" I ask 

"Mhm." He replies, smiling at us (Aaron, Cadenza and I).

 "Well, we should probably get to class, the next bell's about to ring." I chime in(WITH A HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF-- im sorry wrong fandom lmao)to our conversation. 

"Agreed." Laurance says. 

Aaron replies with a nod, and Cadenza with a smile. We all have the same classes, and so we meet Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn in the classroom. I'm actually getting friends quite quickly. Dante, Garroth and Snow Bunny are already seated. Cadenza, Aaron, Laurance, Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn and I sit down by them, at the circular table. We laugh, while talking to each other until the teacher clears her throat. The noisy class grows silent in seconds. So quiet, you could hear a pen drop. A cough echoes through the room, and she starts talking. 

"Today, we'll be learning about the Ancient Greeks, such as Ancient Romans, Athenians, Phoenicians, Spartans and Persians. But most of those are for another day. Right now, we'll be talking about Romans." She speaks up. 

Oh yea, we're in history class. A boring hour and 15 minutes passes until the bell rings and we get up, heading to Math. But who wants to hear about that?

(Hour Time Skip)

The bell finally rings, and we're dismissed to lunch. I scan the cafeteria, my eyes fitting on the table with Travis, Laurance, Garroth, Dante and I think Jeffory, with a kid with black hair and blue eyes. I think his name is Zane. I glance at the table with Cadenza, Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn sitting at it with a couple other people. I see Aaron with a few people who look pretty athletic, I guess he already found his group of friends. I walk over to the table with Kawaii~Chan at it, and decide to sit by her. I look at the other people at the table, who I don't know. 

"Well, guys, this is Aphmau. Aphmau, this is Lucinda, Emmalyn, Zoey, Kiki and Donna."  Cadenza introduces, pointing to each person as she says their names. 

I smile, knowing that I've found my friends. "Well, we have a list that should be really helpful for you." Katelyn says, everyone at our table growing silent after our fun conversations. 

Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan switch seats, Katelyn putting a map in front of me, showing groups of people. The table by us is labeled 'Popular Boys'. I look over at them, then back at the map.

"This is a map of the cafeteria, labeled with which group sits at each table. Or, at least the ones that I know of." Katelyn continues.

I look at the table in front of us, looking between Zoey and Emmalyn. That table's labeled 'Popular Girls' and we're labeled 'Magiks Users' since most of us here have magiks, knowledge or special abilities. I glance at all the other labeled tables that are around us, rolling up the map and handing it back to Katelyn.

"Thanks." I say, smiling. 

"No problem, you would have learned it the hard way without us." Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan switch seats again. 

We talk about random things again until a girl with lilac colored hair towers over our table. She came from the 'Popular Girls' table. 

"Well, look at the new girl. Nya!" The girl speaks up. 

"Beat it, Michi." Lucinda mumbles. 

She pretends to be hurt, "Well, Wicked Witch Of The West, I don't need extra comments." Michi sasses. 

"You know what--" Donna speaks up, but I interrupt her. 

"Yes, I'm the new girl. My name's Aphmau, and you must be Michi." I smile at her, but she gives me a scowl. 

She comes around the table, picking me up by the hood of my jacket, "You better stay off of the popular boys. Nya~" Her 'Nya' sounds colder than before. I nod, swatting her hands off of my hood, "Ugh! Stay off! Nya~" She screeches, causing the whole cafeteria to stare at us. She scowls, earning a glare from me. 

"What do you want, Michi?" This adrenaline rush comes out of nowhere. 

"I want you not causing any trouble. If you do, you'll have even more trouble to pay." She threatens. 

"Am I suppost to be scared of a cat girl? Meow, Meow." I tease. 

Her expression turns even angrier from before. She puts her hands on her hips, while a few laughs echo thru the walls of the cafeteria from my comment. 

"Watch your back Aph~Moo. Because you're about to wish you never had step foot here. Nya~" With that, she skips away. 

I sit back down in my seat, "That was amazing!" Emmalyn comments. I smile as a thanks. 

Someone taps on my shoulder, I turn around and see Aaron. "Hey, Abs." I tease. 

"Hey, Aph~Meow. I'm proud of you, you handled that well." Aaron compliments. Everyone expect Kawaii~Chan, Katelyn and Cadenza stare at him in disbelief. 

"Thanks." I reply, smiling at him. He engulfs me in a hug. He releases, giving me one last smile then walking back to his seat. Michi stares at him with a smirk. 

"Who was that!?" Donna whispers, leaning in closer to me. The rest of the girls do the same. 

"That was my brother, Aaron." I assure. She mouth's an 'Ooh' then decides to say something 

"So, he's single?" A cheeky grin appears on her face. 

"Y-Yea... But I wouldn't..." Before I can finish, Donna's already out of her seat and walking over to Aaron. 

"Hey, Abs. You ya doin'?" Donna flirts. We can overhear her. 

"Uhh... Hi? Do I know you?" Aaron asks confused. 

"I'm Donna." She gives him a smile. 

"Aaron." He replies.

She continues to talk with him, until the bell rings and everyone gets up. 

"That didn't work out as planned." Donna says, catching up to us. Everyone at our table walks side by side 

"I was going to warn you about that, but you were already gone before I could say anything." I chuckle.

"Oh." A laugh escapes in her words too. 

"Nice." I joke.

She laughs again, but this time with the rest of the group. 

"With all seriousness, like Aaron said, you handled yourself well back there." Donna compliments. 

"Thanks." I smile. 

She must have seen it, because one creeps onto her face as well. We reach class, learning about math, science, and things like that.

(Time Skip To After School)

We finally get out of school, walking out, we run into the Popular Girls. Aaron and the Popular Boys are now with us, and we're in a big cluster together until I accidentally bump into someone, falling on the ground.

"Oh, it's you black haired bat. Nya." The girl comments. It's Michi. 

I get up, brushing the dust off of me, "Shut it, Lilac Reject." I snap back. 

There are 'Buurrnn' and 'Oooohh' escaping from people's mouths in the cluster. She gives me a hurt squeal, then storms away with the rest of her group. I roll my eyes, and keep walking with everyone. We all decided to go Lazer Tagging. This will be fun. Someone grabs my hand, causing me to look back and find Laurance 

"Are you excited for lazer tagging?" He asks 

"Yea. You're on, Brownie." I give him his nickname. 

"Bring it, Aph~Meow." He jokingly shoots back. 

I chuckle, him letting go of my hand and all of us continue walking until we get there.
