High School Diaries (Chapter 3)~Destruction
Aaron's POV
I mention Mom, and Aphmau starts wobbling around as she walks.
"Aphmau? Aaaphmaaauuuu?" I wave my hand in her face, as she walks in circles.
"Mom..." She mumbles. I grab Aphmau's shoulders, making her look into my eyes. She looks completely out of it, "Jessica Aphmau Obsidian!" I yell in her face. She then falls onto me, loosing balance, "Jess!" I yell, catching her.
Her arms dangle to the ground, along with the rest of her body. My dad looks at me, with his girlfriend clinging to his arm. He tries to run to me, but she holds him back. My dad looks angry, trying to push his girlfriend off. I nod at him, assuring him that it's ok, then I pick her up bridal style and run out of the theater.
"Stay with me.." I mumble, running her to a close clinic.
People give me weird looks, considering that I'm holding Aphmau bridal style. I finally get inside and see the brunette from school. I think his name's Laurance. He looks at me weird, then his eyes trail down to Aphmau and his face expression turns completely terrified.
"Aaron, what's going on?" Laurance asks, getting out of his chair and making his way to me.
"I don't know, she just passed out." I reply.
He nods, following me to the check-in desk. The woman looks at Aphmau, and has me explain what happened. She rushes me and Aphmau to a room, leaving Laurance in the waiting room. I don't regret it, all I need is for Aphmau to be ok. I lay her on the bed, and the doctor walks in shortly after. He looks at me strangely, then back at Aphmau.
"I'm her brother, that's all." I tell him.
He nods, everyone asks us if we're dating. BUT WE'RE NOT PEOPLE. I lean back, and let the doctor do his thing, he'll get things done faster that way. He finally gets up from where he was and looks at me.
"Is she going to be ok?" I ask.
"Indeed, she had a small anxiety attack, has this ever happened before and has anything tragic happened in the past year that's made her feel this way?" He explains
"Well, our mom died a few months ago, due to a tornado. Same thing happened to our house. She's never had an anxiety attack before." I inform him.
He nods, writing down on his clipboard. He opens the door, and a brunette figure stumbles inside from leaning on the door. The brunette crashes into the wall, causing Aphmau to wake up.
"Laurance?" Aphmau and I both say in unison. He blushes a bright shade of pink, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Were you ease dropping?" I ask, anger rushing over me.
"Maybe." The pitch in his voice gets higher thru out the word.
"Laurance, get out." Aphmau mumbles, still half asleep. He gives her a cheeky smile then leaves the room.
I follow him out, "Don't make any moves on my sister." I growl, having a temptation to pin him to the wall. But me, being the nice person I am, I restrain myself from hurting him.
"I won't, I won't. Calm down, I met her today, it's not like I'm falling for her... Just yet." He smirks.
"I'm serious, Laurance. Don't break her heart." I grab his wrist, gripping onto it tightly.
"I won't! Now, let go of me!" He exclaims.
I let go "Don't break her heart. Or else I'll break yours." I threaten, leaving him running down the hall. I chuckle at his failed sprinting.
After I get ahold of myself, I walk back into Aphmau's room and see her trying to get up. I rush over to her, helping her up.
"Aaron, what happened?" She asks, still a hint of sleepiness hiding in her voice. Fear rushes over me, just like the anger did. I think about a way to put it, without causing her into anxiety.
"Well, you had a minor anxiety attack, nothing big." I say, scared of what she'd say next.
"...Oh..." She replies.
She plasters a fake smile onto her face and clings onto me as we walk out of the clinic. I pay, and we walk out, heading back to the theater. We go back up and tell them our names, getting out tickets. There's a note on the tickets we were given.
"Aphmau, Aaron, this is Dad. Gianna and I decided to go home, not knowing how long you'd be at the clinic." The note read, it didn't look like his handwriting. It looked like Gianna's (His girlfriend).
I give the ticket a scowl, pushing it back to the usher. I take Aphmau's and do the same thing, storming out of the theater with her attached to my arm. I storm into our house, almost knocking the door down.
"FATHER." I yell, anger evident in my voice.
"Aaron calm down." Her voice sounds like a small whisper compared to my yelling.
"No." I scowl. She looks frightened.
Anger clouds my judgement to the point where remorse doesn't come to mind. She unlatches herself from my arm, I look back, into her fearful eyes. I give her a weak smile, it feeling much forced. Her expression softens, allowing me to go upstairs. I burst into my father's room
"GIANNA. GET OUT." I scream at her.
She looks at me, shocked, "Wittle Aaron, you can't tell Big Gianna to leave." She smirks.
My face glows red with anger. "I SAID LEAVE GIANNA. I'M NOT ASKING, I'M COMMANDING!" I yell, anger even more evident in my voice than before.
"You don't control me, child." I walk over to her, dragging her away from my father and his bed.
The glowing TV shines in her eyes, but I don't mind since she's practically taking my dad up 24/7 and beyond. She's clingy and all around selfish, I can't stand her.
Aphmau flies the door open "Aph~Meow, please help mommy, Sweetie!" Gianna pleads.
"My name is Aphmau, not Aph~Meow, and you are not my mother." Aphmau scowls.
I'm surprised by her fierceness, Gianna thinks that she's the angel child, and me, the demon child. Her eyes have jealousy and anger filling them.
"And you're not my daughter." She snaps.
"And you're not my mother. Glad we have an understanding." Aphmau growls. I stand there in shock of Aphmau's savageness.
"Get out of our house. It's no use for you." Aphmau points to the door.
Gianna looks at Aphmau in shock, "Kevin, help me!" (Kevin is our dad's name) Gianna screams.
"You deserve it. My own daughter passed out and you didn't let me go. She could have died and you wouldn't care. You only want me for the little money I have, you're clingy, selfish, greedy and ungrateful. You need a change in attitude. These are my children, not yours. Now leave this house." Dad vents out his anger.
"I never loved you." Gianna scowled, reaching out of my grip, breaking the lamp and walking out of the room.
I hear me dad mutter something out of his breath that Aphmau nor I could make out. My dad's expression turns hurt after Gianna said that she didn't love him, and Aphmau could tell too, so we both crawled onto his bed, cuddling him until he fell asleep. Aphmau and I looked at each other, smirking. Aphmau gently pushed his head off of her shoulder, replacing it with a pillow. We both silently walk out of the room, heading downstairs. The downstairs is destroyed. 'Have fun cleaning this up, turds. ~Gianna' A sticky note says in fancy cursive.
The same anger forms in my stomach until Aphmau engulfs me into a hug, obviously seeing my anger. We stay like this for about 2 minutes until she finally releases, starting to pick up objects that hadn't shattered.
"Aaron, grab me the dust pan and mini broom." Aphmau commands.
I mumble a 'Kay' and rumble thru the cabinet, finding her request then handing it to her.
"Thanks." She smiles.
I start picking up some of the silverwear, plates, cups, ect. All the dining items that had fallen on the floor, basically. Aphmau cleans up the shattered glass from the lightbulbs, and even some windows! I finish cleaning up the dining things, then starts cleaning up the wood from the wooden parts of the window.
"That woman is crazy." I mumble, loud enough for Aphmau to hear.
She chuckles softly at my remark. She finishes up cleaning the glass, throwing it into the large trash bags that we have by the door. I pick up the screeching, cracked TV, placing it into the largest bag. Aphmau replaces the couch pillows, chair pillows and decoration blankets.
"What should we do, we can't let her get away with this..." Aphmau states, with a question at first.
"We're calling the police in the morning. We'll have this taken care of, and when Dad wakes up, we'll tell him what happened. Since they're practically broken up by now, I don't think that he'll care about what she did, as much as us having to clean it up. Get up earlier so we have more time to talk to Dad about it before school." I explain the plan tomorrow.
"Do you think she's going to go to jail?" She asks as we walk the trash bags outside.
"Possibly, she broke our entire living room, kitchen, and basically, messed with our whole middle floor, leaving teenagers to clean. But don't get your hopes up, we don't know yet." I tell her as we walk inside.
"Well, lets just hope that something doesn't go terribly wrong tomorrow." Aphmau replies
Soon, we walk up the stairs, changing into our PJs and climbing in our beds on other sides of the room from each other.
"Night, Aaron." She says.
"Night." I smile softly, then fall into the world of dreams.
