~Keiji POV~

Well, Noboru's studying to be a lawyer while Yamato and Cobra were hanging out somewhere in Sannoh District.

Me?

I was riding my bike around and having the time of my life, just cruising and feeling the wind on my face.

Noboru and I just turned 18 years old, and I managed to get my motorcycle license while using as much cash I saved up to buy a motorcycle.

I wanted one from the beginning I saw a bunch of bikers going through my neighborhood and I fell in love with that since. The problem is, where am I gonna find my people?

The people I'm talking about are a bunch of guys who love motorcycles. Real simple.

And funny enough, I was lucky to meet a few guys who love motorcycles, Tsukumo, Tatsuya, Ohta, Konishi, and Kohaku.

Kohaku didn't like me at first and challenged me to a race. I accepted, and surely enough, I won that race.

In that moment, Kohaku smirked, told me that I earned his respect, and I was now a member of Mugen, the group he and Tatsuya started.

Tatsuya saw something in me and wanted to mentor me about motorcycles and it was that big of an honor. He's like an older brother to me. I love the guy. I mean, if I had an opportunity to choose who I would want as a brother in my family, Noboru would stay and Tatsuya, he's an addition.

Anyway, Noboru always stayed in school and while he was the bookworm, I was the guy living life to the fullest.

Well, that's not true.

I used to be a bookworm as well, making some friends and eventually meeting a girl named Lala, who didn't have a last name, and was constantly getting bullied for being my quote unquote "girlfriend", if you will and I had to stand up to them.

I mean, I was pissed! I started beating the shit out of one of them as if the motherfucker owed me money! I wasn't gonna stand for that, bullying my friend and just being that much of an asshole!

Eventually, the principal expelled me and Lala calmed me down, making me come with her to the gas station so we could get some snacks, some drinks and just have some fun, forgetting about my expulsion as if it never happened, even though it really did.

After that, I never saw Lala again and I vowed to see her again whenever the timing comes up.

Anyway, I was riding around, just feeling the breeze on my face and loving the ride.

All of a sudden, I see some thugs bothering a girl and being that much of a few assholes. So, I rode over and looked to give them a piece of my mind about what they were doing to her.

They looked like they were going to molest her, so as I finally made my way over, and when I revved my motorcycle, they stopped to look at me.

I got off, taking my helmet off, and looked to take care of these guys, which was about six of them.

I don't mind those odds, I can take them. Not the first time I fought multiple people anyway, knowing where this is gonna go.

I gestured the lady to get away as they confronted me, which she did.

Thug 1: This is none of your business, you know!

Keiji: Shit like that doesn't happen in my neighborhood, and I suggest you get outta here, unless you wanna end up in wooden overcoats.

Thug 2: You know, Mugen isn't as strong as it used to be. Sooner than later, the Lemura Family's gonna dominate this neighborhood.

Thug 1: You gotta ask for your biker buddies to help you?

Keiji: I don't need Mugen. Not for this.

Thug 2: Oh! So you think you're a tough guy, huh? Let's see how you do against the six of us as there's only one of you!

I then took out a beer can that I had in my pocket, shook it a bit, opened it, drank it from the length of my arm, hit myself with the can as many times as I wanted, and spat the beer all over them.

After that, I threw the crushed can into one's face as I kicked him away, punched the other in the jaw, knee'd another in the ribs, finished that one off with a hook to the jaw.

I ducked a blow to the face, punching one in the gut, incapacitating him, blocking another's blow, kicked him in the gut, then a punch in the face.

There was only one guy left standing, as I was still wanting him to fight me.

He just looked for a hook to my face, but I ducked and punched him in the gut, tripped him, and then an elbow to his forehead.

Keiji: Nighty-night.

I knew I finished them all off and I saw that the lady was still here, but I had to tell her this.

Keiji: Just get home safe, alright?

She bowed and walked away, and I saw that a guy was about to get up, but I knee'd him right in the jaw, knocking him down before I grabbed his hair, and glared at him...

Keiji: Never prey on a lone woman while I'm around, asshole.

After that, I let him go, got on my bike to keep riding, but I was given a call from Kohaku, so I picked it up.

Keiji: Yeah?

Kohaku: We got new members, Keiji. You might wanna come back.

Keiji: I'll be there.

I hung up, put my helmet on and started riding back to the Mugen hideout.

I wonder who the new members are. I mean, I'd like to get to know them and maybe form a brotherhood with them since we all like motorcycles.

After a while, I made it over and I recognized two of them immediately as I got off to see them.

Cobra: Keiji!

Yamato: Keiji!

Keiji: How's it goin', guys!

We bro hugged and I put my arms around them as I had this big grin on my face.

Keiji: The Three Amigos are back together!

Cobra: Sandman, we've been together since childhood.

Keiji: So? We were separated for a bit.

Yamato: That's true.

Tatsuya: Glad you could make it back, Keiji. What happened to your forehead?

I realized I was still bleeding a bit, so I had to clear the air.

Keiji: Let's say I went crazy and saved a poor woman from getting gang-banged.

Kohaku: You shouldn't be doing that on the regular, you know? You could get hurt.

Keiji: Hey, man. It's not the first time I had to fight and it won't be the last. You don't know who you're gonna bump into these days.

Kohaku: Yeah, but if you keep doing that to your forehead, you'll have scars.

Keiji: Well, chicks love scars, right?

All of them laughed and I knew I got him with that.

Kohaku: You're not wrong.

Tatsuya: Hey, you seeing anyone yet?

Keiji: Nah. Not right now, but we'll see.

Yamato: What about that girl you hung out with?

Keiji: Who? Lala? Nah, she's probably taken by now. Guy or girl, it doesn't make a difference to me.

Cobra: You don't know. You could have a chance to ask her sometime.

Keiji: We'll see what happens. For now, I wanna stay single.

Ohta: We support you, guy!

Keiji: Thanks.

We all kept looking over our bikes, just to make sure that everything was up to par, but soon after a while, we were allowed to be dismissed.

I let Kohaku and Tatsuya know that I was going and I was let go.

I got on my bike and rode away, just feeling the breeze.

I mean, this is what I want to do in my free time besides getting into fights with assholes that wanna take over the neighborhood.

While riding around, I noticed someone in a pink jacket and it had, almost, red hair.

That was when I realized that I was seeing, probably the most beautiful girl I've ever met.

She had red bangs down her face, almost like curly hair at the end, just talking to her friend, but more than that, I think she has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

After a while, she finally looked at me and smiled as I was too distracted by her because I kept looking at her, and that ended with me getting hit into a pole and right into my face!

I held onto my nose and I found out that I've broken it, but the girl who saw me, she saw what happened and started running towards me.

Me, being an idiot, tried to get up and assess the situation. I was on my knees, covering up my nose with blood dripping down at a very slow pace, so I took out a handkerchief and covered my face up, trying not to look ugly as the girl came close to me.

Girl: Are you okay? That was a nasty accident.

Keiji: Yeah. That was a damn stupid thing of me to do. Oh, sorry.

Girl: For what?

Keiji: I just cursed in front of you and I don't usually do that around women.

Girl: Oh.

Keiji: And you can say that I'm a bit of a klutz for getting hit in the face by a pole while getting distracted.

Girl: Definitely. Can I see your nose? I wanna see how bad it is.

Keiji: Are you sure, like, I don't wanna disgust you with that?

Girl: It's not the first time I've been in fights and watch them as well. Come on, let me see it.

Keiji: Alright.

I removed the handkerchief from my face and I showed her my broken nose. She cringed a bit and seemed like she wanted to help me out.

Girl: Oooooh, yeah. That's bad.

Keiji: Well, thanks, because I'm a bit of a bad boy as you can tell.

She giggled a bit before looking to fix it, even though I find it as a bad idea.

Girl: Mind if I try to fix it?

Keiji: Are you trained?

Girl: No, but I want to try.

Keiji: Alright then. Go ahead. Give it a try.

Girl: Hold still.

She then held onto my face with one hand, that I thought was very soft and I wanted to hold onto it, but I didn't wanna seem perverted or anything to make her uncomfortable, so I let her do her thing.

As she tried, I was looking into her gorgeous brown eyes. I thought I was looking into the face of an angel.

Then...

Girl: Here goes.

She twisted my nose and I heard a crack and a crunch, forcing me to groan out a bit and getting a feeling of my face.

She then opened up her phone to the camera app and made me look at myself.

I thought she did a good job fixing it!

Keiji: Better than all the doctors I went to over the years.

Girl: Really?

Keiji: Yeah. You really seem to know what you're doing. It's straight too.

Girl: Awesome.

Keij: And thanks.

Girl: You're welcome.

Keiji: So, uh, what's your name, now that we got this out of the way?

Girl: My name is Shiba. What's yours?

Keiji: Keiji Harada.

Girl: You're Sandman, aren't you?

Keiji: Or that, if you prefer.

We both shook hands, but I felt almost like a staticky little feeling and we looked into each other's eyes as well.

It was only a moment before we let go and looked away as I had some redness on my face and Shiba had a pink hue on her cheeks.

Shiba: Well, mind if we exchanged numbers? Just in case we want to meet up sometime?

Keiji: Yeah, we can do that.

She gave me hers mine by paper and I was all for it. I mean, I'll take a look once I have the time to.

Shiba: See you around.

Keiji: Same here.

Shiba: Hope your nose gets better.

Keiji: Thanks.

She smiled and walked away as I took a look at my bike to see that it wasn't damaged at all, so that was a good thing.

I picked up and kept riding, regardless of my broken nose, but I started to feel something about Shiba because she was really nice to talk to and has a very beautiful smile.

Well, I'm hoping to talk to her again, not only for her smile, but also how beautiful she was. However, when I stopped on the side of the road to take a breather, I saw that Shiba left a kiss on the paper, with her lipstick staying on it.

That's gotta tell me that she's interested, so I texted her, saying it was me and this was my number. She was good with it, I was good with that, and we are now in touch.

It's just awesome, and maybe I'll ask her out to somewhere sometime.
