Run

(Y/N) POV

I ran the flashlight around the dark walls. The walls are mostly covered with children's drawings as I walk down the hall

I walk into a large room that the hall opened up into. There were chairs everywhere, almost as if everyone just left in the middle of the party. As I scanned the room. The light wandered to a stage...a stage with 3 figures on it. I walk up to them to get a closer look

The middle open appeared to be a bear. You could see the metal underneath his fur padding. He had a top hat and a bow tie. And upon closer inspection, he was holding a microphone. His eyes were plastic...but they had something in them...life?...or was it the absence of life.

Beside it was a yellow chicken. It stood out most of the three. Having a bib spaying let's eat that covered some of the bright yellow fur. And on one of its hands lay a cupcake.

The other side was a blue bunny. He held a guitar like a rockstar.

I remembered as we drove here, Dennis was talking about 4 of them... 3 on the stage....one is missing

My heart starts beating as I look around for it

And I completely forgot about the girl. By the sounds of things, she's been in here for a day already. I walk around the dark place looking, but I couldn't find her.

The place is pretty normal, you have a place for maintaining the robots or whatever they are called, a kitchen, a security room, washrooms and what not

I lost my sense of time as when I looked on my watch it was already 11:30 at night.

"Time to eat," I say as sit on one of the chairs and take my backpack out. I grab a chocolate bar and start eating other things.

"I probably should find a place to sleep," I say as I get up and look at the time

"12 already," I say as I'm about to leave the big area. I get a sudden eery feeling like I'm being watched. I look behind me at the animatronics. My heart skips a beat when I see them

They're Looking at me. All three were looking at me.

Weren't they already looking in this direction? No....they are looking at me

I stand in shock as the silent room suddenly gets exposed to a low giggle...and the sound is coming from the stage.

My heart beats faster as those eyes just look at me...and then, the bunny sprang to life as it launches itself off stage.

Suddenly my fight or flight response kicked in and as a huge robat barrelled its way toward me, my body choose flight. I ran in the opposite direction as fast as I could as I hear the heavy footsteps chase me

I navigate the dark halls as my flashlight shows me the path......it also shows him where I am.

I quickly shut the light off and shuffle into a room to my left. I shut the door as fast as I could while not making a sound. My heart beats out of my chest as I hear the heavy footsteps slowdown.

"Keep walking....keep walking," I pray in my head as my eyes adjust to the darkness.

I was in a small closet. It was colder than the rest of the pizzeria. I looked up and a skylight loomed over me.

I couldn't make out the rest of the room, I saw shelves lining the room with things on them. I normally would shine my light to see what they were....but out of fear, I didn't dare turn on my light.

I waited in the darkness. Every sound made me jump as the robots ventured around the place.

I need to get out

But what about the girl?...is she still alive? Is she even here?...did they take her?

My body runs cold as I think about what happens if they catch me...about how I would die

"5 nights of this......5 nights.......," mutter out loud without meaning too.

Calm down....calm down (Y/N), you've never had anything this exciting happen in your life...nor did I ever want something like this to happen.

I sat in the room for hours. I felt my eyes closing for sleep until I heard an earth-shattering scream.

Loud bangs followed as the screaming continued. It was the girl...it was a girl screaming for help.

My body didn't move. In stories about heroes, their bodies always move on their own. The hero always saves the girl without realizing it...but me...saving the girl didn't even cross my mind as I listened to her scream. I started sobbing from my cowardly acts.

I could feel myself becoming filled with anger toward myself. You weak pile of trash...hiding as someone calls for help...is this really what you want.

I remember something my mother told me. If you hide something from your friends you doing something you shouldn't be. And this...would be the last thing I would reveal to anyone.

I spent another few seconds having a mental war over my actions

"Screw it," I mutter as I open the door and follow the screaming. I came around to the main dining area to see the rabbit attacking a small door built into the stage...it wasn't very large as the rabbit was stuck trying to get in

The girl screamed as it tried to force itself in. I noticed to the other two animatronics were still on stage, looking into the dining area as if it were filled with kids. They didn't seem to be berserk like this damned Rabbit

"Hey! Bucket head!" I yell as loud as I could. The room gets deathly silent.

Slowly, the rabbit gets his head out of the small room as he raises his body...and then he turns around to look at me

We stared at each other as his computer calculates something...wait do they have computers?

He starts walking toward me...much slower than when he had chased me around the place. I slowly matched his pace while not taking my eyes off him.

Something grabbed my leg as I fell over and the Rabbit made a horrific yell as it charged at me. I silently waited for him to be upon me as I shut my eyes...but it never came.

I open my eyes to see him inches away. He was frozen in mid-air. Suddenly he moved, from the pouncing position he was in, he raised his body so that he was standing straight up. The sheer size of the rabbit surprised me. I hadn't the chance to examine their height on my level as I was too busy running for dear life.

Slowly he walks to the stage and got into the position he was when I entered the pizzeria

My heart almost gives out as adrenaline thins out of my body as I realize how close I was to possible death. Why'd he stop?

As if to answer my question, I could hear my alarm from my watch go off...or perhaps I didn't hear it from all the excitement. It was 6:05 am...and the alarm starts at 6....which means I've been out of it for 5 minutes.

I finally get the nerves to stand up and go to the door that the rabbit was assaulting. It goes down a couple of steps and at the bottom, I saw a girl.

She was curled up in a ball. Her black long hair hides her face almost as if it was protecting her.

"Are you ok?" I say as my voice cracks. I must still be frightened from my near-death experience.

It took a while for her to respond.

First, she raised her head giving me a clear view of her face. I could see that makeup run down her face as under her eyes was a deathly red colour. Her nose appeared to be running as she ran her arm across it to wipe off any snot

Then she responded, in a strained voice she says, "Yea...I'm fine,"

I continue to lower myself into the room. I can see that small screens were attached to a control panel.

"They seem to have shut down or something," I say referring to the animatronics

"Yea, they are only on between 12 and 6," she mutters as she hugs herself

"So that's why he stopped," I mutter as she nods

"Thanks," she says as she looks down

"Yea, no problem. I totally save girls from killer robots every day," I joke as I soothe my mental pain...I'm faced with the harsh reality that if I had a choice between myself and someone else...I will hesitate. Heroes from stories would never do such a thing...they would give up their life In a heartbeat.

"Did Dennis and Hanna bring you here?" She asks as she hugs her knees to her chest

"Yea," I mutter as her blue eyes look at me behind her knees

"I don't know how to react...should I be glad someone is here with me...or be sad because someone else has to suffer," she mutters

"I'm here anyway, no point in worrying about someone you don't know," I mutter as she raises a brow

"You didn't have a problem when you distracted Bonnie," she says as I stay quiet.

"Is that his name?" I ask changing the subject. She nods

"Freddy and Chica are the other two," she says

"What about the fourth one? I haven't seen it yet," I say as she nods

"Foxy...he has his own stage," She grumbles

"That's where it is...had me worried sick," I mutter as I look at the dozen screens

"Do they work?" I ask as she shrugs

"I won't touch it then," I say as I sit down myself

"How did you survive your first night?" I found my mouth moving on it own as I ask the question

"I was already in here when they went active. So I waited the night out...but this time, I nudged a box and something heavy fell...that's how he found me," she says as she puts some of her hair behind her ear as she reveals more of her face. She looked cute

"I didn't think I was gonna live...especially after what I did to get his attention from you," I say as she nods. Her face showed that she was ashamed. Ashamed that someone had to save her.

"Thanks," she says with a newly found blush. Perhaps she blushed when she first said it...her hair maybe hid it.

Well, even though I'm a coward. Had I not debated on if I was gonna help her.......

I'd be dead by now

Thanks for reading. As you may have noticed. This is the same setting as the fnaf books. However I added some game mechanics so that our two protagonists weren't always running for their lives...it would also would be hard for them to have any true moments with each other if they are always looking over their shoulders...so anyways, hope you like it and enjoy the rest of the story as it comes out.
