Crona's POV:

Eruka was standing right there at my window. I just did something terrible. I put a snake that enhances Professor Stein's madness. Why did I do this? Why did Lady Medusa make me? I'm so scared.

"You aren't needed her anymore. Medusa wants you to come back with her." Eruka said.
"No I don't wanna go. I just wanna stay in my corner." I said.
"Medusa won't be pleased."

Then Ragnarok came out.

"C'mon idiot. Just do what Medusa says. No one will forgive you for what you did. Did you forget about the snake that enhances Stein's madness. You can't stay here!" Ragnarok said.
"Leave me alone." I said.

*time skip the afternoon*

Your POV:

"Crona eat some more!" Maka said.

This is so much fun. Yet, Crona isn't acting like himself. I can't help to be worried.

"You may be ugly, but your food is delicious!" Ragnarok said.
"Well it's a gift from Miss Marie. She made it for us in her spare time." Tsubaki said.

I look at Crona. He is just like when I first met him. He was just opening up. Someone changed that.

Crona's POV:

"I-I need to use the bathroom!" I said.
"NOOOO FOOD FOOD!" Ragnarok said.
"They are right. I can't stay here."
"Now you see it. You are such an obedient child. Now you see that the only place you belong is with me. Isn't that right?" Medusa said.

I start sweating and panting. Someone is behind be. I turn and jump, but it's (y/n).

"You forgot your picture silly!" She said as she handed me the photo of me and her.
"Do you have any thoughts on your mother?" I said.
"I'll tell you."

And we sat down.

"When I was younger, I was happy. I had good parents, and I loved my house. Until that night. There was a fire. I was terrified. No one came to try to help." She said as she was clutching her hair.
"What kind of mother wouldn't save their child?" I said in the corner so she wasn't looking.
"My mom and dad were tied to the bed. They couldn't get up. I could still hear their voices."
"How did they get tied to the bed?"
"(y/n) run. (y/n) save yourself. (y/n)...(y/n) g-g-get out of he..."
"Why. No one should be without parents."

I looked at her. She was crying. I could tell that she was eternally scarred by this. I feel so bad. She wiped the tears.

"How do you feel about her?" I said while twiddling my thumbs.
"She's my mom silly, I love her." She said.

She smiled. A genuine smile. Yet I can't stay. I'm sorry (y/n).

I run to my room, and grab everything. I then run out of the room and head out of Death City.

*half an hour later*

Your POV:

"Crona! Crona!" I screamed while running into his room.
"No belongings, no Crona. Lord Death won't be pleased." Spirit said.
"That can't be. I'm going.

Ying got the bike. And we go into the dessert.

Crona's POV:

I walk through the dessert.

"I'm not going back to Medusa. I just wanna be alone." I said while walking.
"So hot! I'm melting!" Ragnarok said while melting back into my back.

I fall in a hole. At least I can be alone in here. I then hear my name being called.

"Crona! Crona!" She said.

(y/n). She came. Worried. I'm so sorry.

"I see his footprints. To that hole. CRONA!" She said at the top. 

She looks worried.

"Did I ask you to come. I want to be alone! Go away!" I said.
"What?" She said looking down.
"I can't come back after what I did. I betrayed you. I put one of Medusa's special snakes inside Miss Marie's drink. I never asked for everyone to be nice to me. I'm a coward I don't deserve any of this!"

She then lifts her delicate feet off the ground. Her feet slide like velvet in the sand. She slides with grace. Then.... She pulls me up by the collar of my robe, and gets ready to punch.

"Don't you dare say another negative thing about yourself!" She said.

I sigh a bit.

"Tell me. It was your mom right?! It had to be!" She said while shaking me.
"I-I can't say it! She's my mother!" I said.
"Crona. You aren't weak. You think that yet you bring up yourself for others. You put everyone else before you. Then someone hurts that. Please stop this. I don't want you to be hurt."

I then start crying.

"But I did all of those bad things. You guys treat me so well. I don't wanna hurt others!" I said while hugging her.
"I won't let that happen. I swear it." She said starting to cry.

*at the DWMA Death Room*

"I'm sorry but Crona signed the school forms. He swore. He has to be expelled." Lord Death said.
"Give him another chance." I said.
"This is serious. He can't just let him back." Spirit said.
"So your talking about loyalty. Maka told me things about you! You don't even know what loyalty is!"
"That is different."
"You say your sorry, but you cheat again and again. If you were given a second chance, so should he!"
"Hmmmm"
