Men she always found was hard to deal with and they were boys to deal with. But Dumbbell was definitely showing that she shouldn't be so worried about him. It freaked her out a little that he was being nice and not calling her Rainbow Crash as an insult. It was weird.
Looked as if they finished up their meal, head out to get ice cream cones for dessert. They didn't have really good desserts on the menu so they went to a kiddie fast food place they use to go when they were kids.
Rainbow Dash got vanilla while Dumbbell got chocolate. They had different taste.
They were talking about many fun memories they had and what they've done some they were apart.
"So he seriously did that?" She laughed a little.
"Yeah. But don't tell Hoops he peed his pants." He said.
"Won't be a problem. So what are you guys doing for the dance competition?"
"Ah nothing much. We're just doing kinda hip hop. It's Hoops's idea. He is pretty good and we need the practice."
"How come you never come up with ideas for the dance or anything? Everything seems based on Hoops all the time."
Dumbbell was silent for a moment. He kinda looked sad which worried Rainbow. "Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah it's uh.... I guess... Um.... It's cause he's kinda a leader of this whole thing. He came up with the dances and music and everything. He's actually smarter than the rest of us."
"Well, did you have some ideas?"
"I did but then he said they were stupid and everyone agreed. I then saw it too. They were kinda big mistakes."
"Oh come on. I bet they're good. You should show me some times maybe."
"Yeah.... no. You would laugh at me."
"Oh please. I haven't laugh at anyone since Pinkie accidentally made a guy drop his pants for five dollars."
Dumbbell just bursted out laughing with Rainbow Dash. They both love each other's laughs.
He calmed himself and said smiling "I should show you. I do love hearing your laugh."
Rainbow blushed and smiled while licking her vanilla ice cream. 'He is so cute.' she thought in her head. Which scared her. Why would she be thinking that?
"So what's y'all's dance?" He asked.
"Well ours we're deciding who has the best moves they know and we are gonna try and make it work. I have my own move."
"You gotta show me. I bet you do an amazing job."
"It's true. I do aweso-oh geez!" By then her breasts were freezing cold. Seems she dropped a small chunk of her vanilla ice cream in between her breasts of her dress.
Dumbbell was laughing at her expression.
"Dude hand me a napkin. I'm freezing cold." She said.
"Alright, alright. I got it." He said getting a napkin putting his chocolate one down into a cup hold. Then he scoot a little close to Rainbow with the napkin in his hand and tried to...
Whoa...
"Whoa hang on!" She said stopping him.
He looked at her confused. "What?"
"Dude, I'm not letting you clean my breasts and dress. I got it."
Then he understood. "Oh. I'm sorry. I'm really use to helping people that's why. Here." He gave the napkin to her.
"Thank you." She said wiping her dress and breast.
He smiled as he watched her clean herself. He then reached for his ice cream to finish it.
"Yeah. Rarity is going to kill me." She said.
"I'm sure she'll understand." He said.
"Oh no. The last thing Rarity would do is understand."
He chuckled and smiled as she continued cleaning herself. She started to notice that he was watching and blushed. "Um... can you not watch me... please?"
"Sorry. Just trying to imagine what you would look like without the dress on?" He winked.
Her blush grew bigger making her feel weak. "Okay, not cool man."
"Just the tr-ah!" He lifted himself up and felt wetness on his tux.
She looked and started to laugh at him. Seemed he got ice cream on himself. Mostly his tux on his chest.
She thought it was so funny they were even. He smiled not even caring for his tux being ruined.
"Dude I'm sorry." She said still laughing a little. "That was just too funny."
"It's fine. No biggie." He then smirked. "But you're helping me."
She stop laughing and looked at him confused. "What?"
"Yeah. You're gonna help clean my tux with the napkin."
She made a face but nodded knowing it wasn't a big deal. "Alright fine. Come on over here."
"I can't."
Now she just looked confused. "Why not?"
"Because I are too much. I feel fat. You're gonna have to come over here and clean it up for me." He smiled.
She growled quietly and sighed "Fine. I'm coming."
She lifted onto her knees and was almost on top of him and wipe it off him. "Do I have to get every inch of the ice cream?"
"Nah. You're good." He said.
She was done and was about to sit back down, but then she did not move. She only looked at him and his one blue eye. The other was hiding under his hair. She moved his hair to see both of his eyes and was blushing feeling her heart beat.
"You okay?" He asked blushing himself.
"Yeah..." She trailed off leaning a little close to him. Nothing stopped her and she was getting closer to him.
He started to get closer too. Before they both knew it, their lips were being touch together. They didn't move a rhythm or anything. Just stayed still touching their lips with eyes closed.
This was a nice feeling she kept feeling when she is being kissed by him or kissing him.
He then placed his hand on her hip but that's what made her stop. She pulled away and only looked at him surprised. Not at him. At herself for what she did.
"I thought you said no kissing or anything Rainbow Crash?" He smiled.
"I.... I uh... You put your hand on my hip!" She said trying to think as she sat back down.
"Yeah. And you kissed me first. Not me."
"It doesn't..... Nevermind." She felt so embarrassed. But also nice.
"Rainbow it's okay. Remember I'm not telling anyone we kissed or went on this date?"
"I know but..... I don't know what's wrong with me."
He kinda felt bad she doesn't know. But then he looked outside and saw people dancing slowly as romantically. That's when he realized it.
"Hey look." He pointed getting Rainbow's attention.
She looked and saw the people. "Are they dancing?"
"Remember? It's the night of the full moon. You know that."
She them remember. It's when the people of Cloud High and other people who live in her town, celebrate how the moon guides their ways to better lives. How could she forget?
"Now I remember. I always loved this when I was a kid." She said smiling at the people as the dance.
Dumbbell then smile and unbuckled his seat belt. "Come on. Let's go."
She then looked confused. "What?"
"Come on. Let's go dancing."
"Oh. No no no. I'm not dancing."
"Come on. I wanna show you my moves and you can show me your's. Come on."
She really didn't think dancing in public was a good idea. But it was an idea to get him to be quiet about all this.
"Fine." She said getting out with him.
They both walked with the people as they finally started to pump up instead of slow dancing. The music was going loud and the lights were going everywhere.
"Come on!" Rainbow Dash said smiling at him. "Show me what you got!"
He smiled and then started to dance.

(Hey listen I don't feel like adding the details on their crazy dancing. If you guys got some crazy dancing ideas I would really like you put it in the comments and tell me what to use. Then I'll type what dance they'll do. I would appreciate that. Thank you very much and now with the best part).

They were both kinda out of breath barley breathing. But it was worth seeing them dance their own moves. They smiled and Rainbow said "Dude your moves are pretty good. I use them."
"Thanks. You know how to dance, but you run out of breath fast." He said.
"Whatever." She rolled her eye playfully.
Suddenly the lights dim down and the music started to go nice and gentle. Everyone started to dance slowly together. The two felt awkward standing and doing nothing.
Dumbbell smiled and had his hand out. "Wanna..?" He asked.
She smiled blushing and took his hand. "Sure. Why the heck not?"
He smiled and hold her hand while putting his other onto her hip. She then put her other hand on his shoulder and they both started to dance slowly to the music.
It was kinda cool. Everyone dancing the same way but it was kinda hard to dance with someone. Rainbow blushing really bad but somehow, she was glad to dance with him.
"So what did you think?" He said smiling at her. "Was this a bad date?"
"Well you got my dress dirty," she joked. "But nah. This was a good date we had."
"Good cause I'm gonna need it." He joked making her chuckled.
She felt so weak but nice. Then she ask "So was this really to keep your mouth shut about the whole kissing thing, or is it because you had no idea how to ask very normal?"
He blushed a little embarrassed her was caught. Then he chuckled and smiled at her saying "Both honestly."
Rainbow only smiled and shook her head. "Only you dude."
Their dance was mostly spinning. They felt like in heaven kinda by the beautiful night. He looked seeing her smile. He loved seeing her happy. He hated that he looked sad.
She noticed and asked "Hey, what's wrong?"
"It's uh... It's nothing." He said.
"Come on. I know that face when a teacher doesn't believe you that you didn't make a mess."
He smile and looked at her knowing she won't give up on him. "I guess I.... I kinda don't want this to end."
"What?"
"This date, the night, mostly staying away from you. I rather... actually have you by my side."
She blushed at his words and smiled a little small. "You... Really mean it?"
"Yes. There's so much I would love to show you and know your deepest thoughts. I kinda wish...."
She looked at him, waiting for the response. The music was a little loud so she thought she couldn't hear him. But she heard him perfectly clear when he said this.
"I wish I was your boyfriend."
Her heart was pounding hard and her head was spinning. She couldn't believe he said that. Normally she slap the person that tries to flirt with her but him... she's happy?
"Oh... um..." She didn't really know what to say.
"I know." He said winking. "Reputation."
That's what she was thinking of on the way home and the whole dancing. What if she could care less about her reputation? What if she really wanted to be with him, but something is telling her no? But also what would happen if everyone didn't see Rainbow Dash for who she is anymore? Would she lose it and her pride as well?
The whole home was kinda quiet. Dumbbell had to take her home first since she is a lady. He even walked up to the front door with her. He felt kinda silly. Maybe she hates him even more cause she was quiet.
When they reached the welcome mat, still silence but they looked at each other for a moment. "Alright." He said. "I'm sorry I dragged you into a date you weren't comfortable in. I promise I won't tell anyone."
"Thanks." She said looking worried for some reason.
He felt more awkward standing there. "Well I uh, I better get going. Have a goodnight." He turned around and was about to leave until...
"Dumbbell wait!"
He looked back at her a little confuse. He was kinda a few baby steps away from her on the doorstep. He walked back onto the step and asked "Yes?"
Rainbow didn't know what to say. There was only one thing to do. She grabbed him by his back collar shirt, then pulled him in to kiss him.
He was shock by her actions as she was laying against the front door being kissed. But he started to adjust the kiss and placed his hands on her hips kissing her more.
She didn't want him to stop. These kisses were amazing to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him closer to kiss.
He chuckled and pull away letting them both breath. "You know," he panted still holding her. "you might wanna wait unless you have a condom."
She looked at him confused but then realized what she did. Her leg was wrapped around his which is what mostly pulled him. She blushed and said "Um, I'm sorry. I don't know why I did that."
"Don't be sorry." He smiled and cup her face to kiss her again.
She felt in heaven with his kisses and let him take over. The most he did was kiss her lips though. They pulled away again and smiled at each other so sheepish.
"So cute." He said.
"Maybe we should do this again." She said.
He looked at her surprised and them wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. Then he made sure he wasn't dreaming when she whispered this.
"And I wanna be your girlfriend."
His heart raced as she said that and hugged her back. He was so happy. When they looked at each other, Rainbow looked up and said "But do you mind it in secret? I don't want people finding out and... You know..."
He smiled and took her hand to place it gently onto his chest. It was where his heart was beating. "Anything for you, Dashie."
"Oh, don't call me that." She giggled.
"Too late." He winked and kissed her again. "But you better get inside before you're late with curfew with your dad."
"You gotta let go of me." She said still kissing him.
"Hang on." He continued to kiss her.
They both felt so happy to actually be something more and their kisses were amazing. They finally got the chance to pull away but he kissed her cheek and said "Goodnight Dashie." Then he ran to his car.
Rainbow smiled so huge, almost bigger than Pinkie Pie's. It's funny. When se was young, she could care less about boy and beat them. Now she suddenly sees so many girly things and she is so happy. She did everything she could to look alright but she couldn't help it. It's hard.
He started the engine but looked at her one last time as she was entering her home. He waved goodbye as she waved back and drove off.
She was inside and closed the door behind her...
"Oh my heavens! How was it?!"
"Aah!" She fell on her back in fear and hurt her hip. That was one big surprise. "Rarity?! What are you-"
"Oh I'm sorry!" She said. "I jut couldn't until later! How was it?! Tell me tell me tell me!"
Rainbow Dash stood on her two legs taking care of her pain and said "Why do you care?"
"Because dating is so cute!"
"Keep your voice down. You're gonna wake my dad."
"Sorry." She finally spoke whispering. Then she smiled at her. "So, who ask who first?"
"Ask what?"
"Like which one of you said you should hook up."
Rainbow blushed more and said "No no! We-"
"What did I say about that?" She then looked mad instead.
Turns out she was not happy when she saw the stain on Rainbow's dress. Rainbow rolled her eyes and said "I'm sorry for your dress. But we're not hooking up."
"What is that stain?"
"Vanilla ice cream."
Rarity gasped and said "Do you know how hard that stuff is to clean out?!"
Rainbow kinda looked scared for a moment but watched Rarity calmed down and said "You know what? I don't care. I'm just glad you got a boyfriend."
"Rarity, I do not! We're just... still enemies. Now please go home. I'm tired."
Rarity groaned "Fine. But you're telling me tomorrow how the date went or I'm telling everyone you went on an actual date."
Rainbow Dash gave her a face and watch Rarity leave. "Ta ta." Rarity waved closing the door.
When Rainbow saw that door close, she knew it was safe and just fell against the wall smiling and gazing into heaven thinking of him.
Rarity was smiling as she left Rainbow's house and mumbled to herself "They tots love each other."
