A/N: okay Dumbbelldash fans, this chapter won't be much I will say. It's mostly a get ready chapter. But I think y'all will like it. If I had a picture of what this chapter was about I do it. Anyways, enjoy.

"Come on. School should have been done three minutes ago." Rainbow whispered to herself as she stared at the clock.
Who knew time could be so slow? She determined to hurry to get something decent, also not her full style, and it's had to simple. She hated she had to do this but it was the only way Dumbbell was gonna keep his mouth shut.
She waited, and waited, and finally the clocked hit the three.
RIIIIINNNGGG!!
The students of CHS ran out of the school as fast as they could. It may be a good school but teenagers do prefer to stay home. Rainbow wished she could but this happened.
She felt she had to hurry the moment she was out of the school grounds. She ran and ran and finally made it to a dressing shop. This person may be find with her going on a date, but she hoped she kept her mouth shut too.
She ding song the house and saw her standing at the door looking surprised. "Oh, hey Rainbow Dash. What brings you here?"
"Rarity let me in!" She pushed Rarity back inside of her shop and closed the door behind her.
"What the heck?! You can't jut barg-"
"I need your help!" Rainbow said as she got a hold of her arms. "I need you to make me a dress that's decent, also not my style, and it mostly has to be simple! Please!"
Rarity looked surprised at Rainbow Dash and was mostly confused. "But why?"
"Because..." She finally let go of her arms and rubbed her own with a red face of embarrassment. ".. well.... I'm kinda going on a-"
"Oh my gosh! A date?!" Rarity said with a big smile.
This made Rainbow's face more red. "Yes?"
"Oh my gosh! Why didn't you say so?!" She pushed Rainbow Dash into her inspiration room and slammed the door. "I'll be doing more than a dress! I'll make you look dazzling!"
"Um... Rare I just-"
"Hush now. We must get to work. You simply any wear this tomboy nonsense."
Before Rainbow knew it, Rarity tore her clothes off her and was starting to measure her waist, hips, legs, and upper body parts. Rainbow Dash kinda felt embarrassed she was kinda naked. "Um Rare, I kinda need it by tonight."
"Don't worry. I'll be done before he gets here. I can't wait to see who you're going with."
"Well actually- ow!"
Rarity squeezed Rainbow a little on her waist. "Sorry. I need perfect measurements."
Soon Rarity was done and she started her knitting skills. Rainbow wasn't sure what she was doing. She mostly looked up at the ceiling mostly. She hated this so much. She hated she had to wear a dress, being kissed by the boy who's teased her all her life, and is very hungry.
"Done! Well almost." Rarity said. "What do you think?"
Rainbow Dash looked at herself and was amazed. The dress was black all over and blue stitching things at the bottom. Her top part had two hold ups that were on her shoulders and her waist had a light blue ribbon wrapped around. Where her cleavage was, there was a blue diamond in the very middle that was beautiful.
"Whoa." She said smiling. "This is.... actually pretty good. I think Sapphire Shores will love it too."
"You really think so? I should make some for her. I'm glad you like it."
"Well now that's you're done-" she tried turning away with the dress on but Rarity stopped her.
"Hold it there darling I'm not done with everything. I need to do your makeup, some accessories, and do something with your hair."
"But I-"
Rarity made her sit down and had to pad her down so she could stay down. "Sorry but I must make you look fantastic."
"But Rarity you don't understand. It's only Dumbbell."
Rarity then gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. "With him?"
"Yes and-"
"Oh my gosh! I knew it! Sunset Shimmer owes me ten bucks."
"No Rarity! You cannot not tell anyone about this. This date is a one time thing and it's not gonna happen again."
"Well if is not gonna happen then why are you going out with him now?"
"Because so he can keep his mouth closed about kissing me for your stupid bottle of water!"
Rarity then looked surprised. "Wait, he kissed you?"
Rainbow was redder than, well anything red. She looked down trying to hide herself as Rarity was squealing her heart out.
"I can't believe it!"
"And that means you better not say anything! If you say one thing about what I told you, I will make sure your line of fashion will be ruined."
She gasped and made a face. "You wouldn't dare."
"I would. So keep your mouth shut."
She groaned. "Fine. But I still get to make you looked fantastic."
Seeing there was no choice, she had to let Rarity do her job. By then, Rarity look into her accessories. She found a red ponytail she was gonna use later, a pair of cute, black, high heel shoes, a golden lighting bolt earring, and a navy blue bracelet. She put every thing on except the ponytail.
"Perfect." She said.
Soon, she was doing Rainbow's makeup.
She did her nails first. She painted them dark blue that sparkle. She was about to do some face makeup on her.
"Alright, now I need you to hold still." She said.
Rainbow nodded.
Rarity then told her to close her eyes and she was putting on black eye shadow. She told her to close her eyes a few times and was doing eye liner. She was doing great till Rainbow blinked an backed away a little.
"I need you to be still." Rarity said.
"Well I'm sorry I don't like eye liner."
"It had to show your eyes. Just be still. Please."
She growled and let Rarity continued.
Rarity then finished up her makeup with mascara that made her eyelashes stand out.
She was almost done. She had to do one last thing. Her hair.
She was flat-ironing her hair to make it straight and nice. She did many styles with Rainbow's hair but nothing seemed to fit.
"Why don't I just leave my hair down?" Rainbow asked.
"Oh come on. You need something new out your hair. Something fabulous."
"How about something normal? I don't like this bun." She shook her head to make the bun come loose.
By then Rarity, looked surprised. Her bun may be ruined but with Rainbow's hair in just a long high ponytail, she looked more amazing. "That's perfect."
She looked confused. "It is?"
"Yes. Look at you." She turned her friend around and showed beauty on her.
Rainbow Dash was amazed herself. She looked so pretty.
Rarity unpad her friend and let her stood up. "You are finished and dazzling darling."
"Thanks. But are you sure I should wear high heels?" She tried walking but she was almost losing balance.
"Oh it will take time darling. Let's jut prac-"
DING DONG!
"Who is that?"
"Oh he must be here."
"What?! How did he know you be here?"
"I texted him when you went to find jewelry earlier."
"Alright fine but you better get in use of high heels. I'll keep him busy while you get yourself ready." She went down the stairs while Rainbow remain alone upstairs.
Rainbow Dash looked at herself in the mirror again. She didn't know why, but she was nervous. She felt she shouldn't since he was a jerk all her life. Ben though he was being mean in the halls and kissed her unexpectedly, she can't lie to herself. He was a good kisser. And that's what scares her.
She took a deep breath and said "Come on Rainbow Dash. It's just a normal guy who's a jerk and it's only one date."
While waiting, Rarity was studying Dumbbell since he wore a tuxedo. She actually like this outfit.
"Where in heavens did you get your tuxedo?" She asked.
"It was my dad's." He answered.
"Oh. Lovely."
"So it Rainbow Crash almost ready?"
"It's Rainbow Dash, and she should be coming down soon." She stood up and got in his face with an angry one. "And I swear if you hurt her, I will make sure you won't see the broad of daylight again."
"Don't worry." He said. "It's just a one time thing. Although, I would like it to be everyday with her."
She looked so surprised. "What do yo-"
"Hey, ready to go?"
They not heard her voice and saw her come down the stairs. When Dumbbell watch her step by step, he was amazed himself. He saw so much more beauty on Rainbow Dash. "Whoa." He said.
"Didn't I did a fantastic job?" Rarity said.
"You.... You looked beautiful."
Rarity squealed and Rainbow blushed embarrassed. But somehow she's liked that he complimented about her. "Um, thanks, I guess."
"So where are you two going? Just curious." Rarity asked.
"It's a surprise. Can't say." He winked at Rainbow.
She felt embarrassed by how her friend just kept squealing and jumping. "Um, can we go now?"
"Sure. See ya Rarity." He said as he let Rainbow go out of the shop first. He followed her with Rarity saying goodbye.
They were both in car and Dumbbell started the engine.
"So where are we going?" Rainbow asked.
He smirked and said "You'll see. and I wasn't kidding when I said you looked beautiful."
She blushed even more, and couldn't help but smile. "Thanks."
