A/N: like I said before, I won't be done with this story for a while and this chapter might not be much cause I just woke up and there's a kitten on my neck sleeping so I can't move well lol anyway enjoy the friendly but blushing chapter.

The next day turn out to be a pretty good day for Rainbow Dash. Everything seem to be pretty normal, the skies were clear, and everypony was happy.
"So if I just let Tank have some lettuce he should be getting stronger?" Rainbow asked as flew the skies with Fluttershy.
"Yep. And he'll healthy as well too." She said smiling.
But then suddenly, two Pegasus flew up to them and they weren't exactly glad to see those two.
"Hey Rainbow Trash!" Hoops said. "Did you enjoy your new look at the gala?"
"Yeah!" Score laughed. "You were dirty!"
Hoops then show a picture of her kissing Dumbbell and ten getting dump on looking dirty.
Hoops and Score laugh embarrassing her. Fluttershy did everything she could for her and Rainbow to fly away, but suddenly, another Pegasus came into the sky and was right in front of them facing Hoops and Score. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what was happening.
"Leave her alone."
"Aw come on Dumbbell." Hoops said. "It was awesome when we dump that trash and Rainbow Trash."
"No it was not. It was very ungrateful or you two. Thanks to you two her dress and mane got ruin."
"And you care why?" Score asks.
"Yeah. Since when do you side with Rainbow Trash and Cluttershy?" Hoops asked.
"Their names are Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, and because you guys are being mean to my friends."
It seem Dumbbell was taking his friendship very serious. Rainbow was glad he was.
"Since when are get your friends?"
"That's non of your business. Now if I were you, I suggest you guys just play hoops or something, or I'll be having a word with your mom."
Hoops gasped. "You wouldn't dare!"
"I would."
Hoops and Score stared at their friend very lost. Why would he be acting this way? But Hoops didn't want the risk for his mother to find out what he's done to Rainbow Dash.
"Fine." Hoops and Score flew away.
Dumbbell looked back at the two mares and ask "You two okay?"
"Yeah. You seem to be taking this friend zone serious huh?" Rainbow said.
"Well, I couldn't risk losing my friends, even though they hate you. They'll be hating me for sure soon."
"Well thanks. We appreciate it a lot." Dash looked at Fluttershy, waiting for her to speak.
She looked pretty mad and didn't want to say anything. But she knew it was nice of him to stand up for them both. "Thank you." She said softly but still looked kinda mad.
"I'll be seeing you two around." He waved and flew away leaving them two alone.
"I still don't see why you still be friends with him after what he's done."
"Fluttershy, sometimes you gotta give ponies a second chance. He's seems to be getting use to being friends."
"You're only saying that because you like him and he is always kissing you."
Rainbow kinda got offended by that cause of how Flutterhy was acting. But she decided to let it go and let her learn she'll have to get use to it.
Twilight watch her two friends fly through the sky. She was glad and believe Rainbow should write a letter to princess Celestia.

"Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I think I keen to always trust your friends when they are trying to look out for you. They always will try to protect you from anything that could hurt, and because I didn't listen well I got dirty and tricked. Also, I learn that love is one strong thing everypony needs but sometimes you need to take the relationship slow and start out as friends. Friendship is just as important as love.

She finish writing and flew to her window to see the stallions playing a game of hoops. She watched mostly Dumbbell.
He threw the basketball to his friends but turn his head seeing the Pegasus through her window. He smiled and waved back as she waved too. But because of this, he got hit in the head by the basketball. But he remain okay blushing.
Rainbow Dash giggled of his silliness. She wish she could date him, but she does want to take it slow. Who knows? Maybe their friendship can be stronger than love.
