Rainbow Dash couldn't move after what just happen last night. Dumbbell had kissed her. But why?
All her life, him and Hoops have done nothing but teased them, calling them 'Rainbow Crash' or 'Cluttershy', thinking they're better than them two ponies. Now that he has taken her to the show and kissed her at her house, she doesn't know what to think anymore.
She flew slowly through Ponyville feeling strange and kinda embarrassed. This was a big surprise for her so she doesn't know what to think.
"Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow saw Twilight fly up next to her looking confuse. "Oh. Hey Twilight."
"Rainbow we've been calling you five times already. Is something wrong?"
Rainbow didn't even notice they were calling for her. She was so distracted by what happen.
"Oh. Sorry." Then she flew down to join her friends.
Everyone waited for her to smile, but she didn't even look close to being happy.
"You okay sugarcube?" Applejack asked.
"No. Not really."
"What's wrong darling?" Rarity asked.
"Was Dumbbell mean again?" Fluttershy assumed.
"He's always mean."
"Don't worry. We'll show him he no right to--"
"It's not Fluttershy."
Now she really doesn't know what's the problem. If it ain't Dumbbell's insults, then why could it be?
"Then what's the problem?" Spike asked.
"Did someone start a fight with you?" Twilight asked.
Rainbow Dash chuckled. "You guys ask so many questions."
"Well you won't answer them." Applejack said.
"Ooh! Ooh! I know!" Pinkie Pie started to get excited. "One of the Wonderbolts asked you out and turned you down by now showing up and your heart is broken to millions of pieces!" Then she smiled huge.
Everyone were shock by Pinkie's words.
"Uh, that's even close Pinkie." Rainbow said.
Then Pinkie's smile went to a frown. "Oh. Well I guess."
Rainbow blushed, not sure if she should tell her friends about what happen to her last night. Her cheeks were as red as the color in her hair.
She began to walk with her friends as they tried everything they can to get her to spill the beans.
"Did you not like the Wonderbolts performance?" Spike asked.
"Of course not. I loved their performance." She said. "It's just hard to explain."
They stopped and looked at each other as Rainbow watched behind her continuing to walk.
"How can it be this hard to explain?" Applejack asked looking at her along with everypony else.
But before Rainbow could respond, she wasn't watching where she was going and accidentally bumped into some pony. She fell on her tail and looked up to see Dumbbell smiling down at her.
He gave her a hoof up and said "You gotta stop bumping into people Rainbow." Then he continue to walk pass the other ponies as they watched him.
"Who is that?" Spike asked.
"That's Dumbbell. One big meanie to me and Rainbow Dash since we were fillies." Fluttershy said.
Rainbow Dash joined their friends blushing red again.
"He doesn't seem much of a bully by what just happen." Applejack said.
"Yeah. He's not that bad." She said looking back before her friends caught her face.
But obviously she was too late cause they smiled with Applejack's words.
"Ooh. Some pony has a crush on Dumbbell."
The others were joining Rainbow as she tried walking away.
"No! No I don't." She said.
Rarity appear next to her gasping happily. "She does!"
She tried looking away as Rarity sang she did trying to hide her cheeks. But she couldn't help but smile. But she immediately threw by walking faster and said "Don't be stupid. I don't like him. I just... Uh..."
Then Pinkie came next to her and said fast "Totally feel funny because he did something now for you even though as fillies he was real mean to you and Fluttershy and you wish to do something for him but also know there's probably nothing but to only be nice?! Right?!"
Pinkie only got half of her words right. Rainbow did appreciate for Dumbbell to share the ticket with her to see the show, but she wasn't thinking of doing anything for him. She wasn't Ben trying to be nice earlier.
"Not exactly Pinkie." She said.
"Okay. It was just a hunch." She smiled and continued bouncing as they continued to walk.
"So then what is the reason?" Spike asked. "Cause nothing personally but this stuff about liking someone is gross."
Then Rarity looked close to him with a lovely smile making him blush. "Oh Spikey wikey, Rainbow Dash is just developing feelings. It's normal."
"I'm not developing any feeling for him!" Rainbow said getting a little annoyed.
Applejack appeared next to her and asked "Then why you getting offense sugarcube?" She grinned to embarrassed her friend.
Rainbow tried hiding her face from them as hard as she could with talking. "Because is annoying you all keep asking."
"So then why are you blushing red?" Twilight asked getting in on it.
"That usually means she's getting mad." Fluttershy remembers.
"Yes! Thank you!"
Then she mumbled to where no one heard her. "I just wish he didn't kiss me."
But it seems her mumbling wasn't low enough for Rarity as she gasped happily.
"I knew it!" She said with a big smile. "I knew it! I knew it! I knew it!"
Everypony watch of how she was acting.
"Knew what?" Spike asked.
"Didn't you hear her mumble?!"
"Rarity! Don't!" She stopped.
"Why? It's one of the best moves her in history. Everypony must know!"
"No! Please don't." She was about to beg.
"Why?" But she started to think.
Rainbow Dash is a tomboy who does mostly sports and they've teased her ad Fluttershy since they've been fillies. That could lead to one thing.
"Was this your first kiss?!" She looked surprised.
Then before anything happen, the rest of their friends had their jaws dropped. Even Spike had his jaw drop.
Rainbow wanted to smack Rarity but couldn't help but blush red all in her face so she had to hide it with her arms so no pony can see.
But then Pinkie made her lose it when she grabbed her in for a hug. "I can't believe! Rainbow Dash got her first kiss!"
"Well that's great news sugarcube." Applejack smiled.
"Well looks like Rainbow has got a new some pony to like." Twilight smiled.
The only doubting this was Spike. "Ew." was all he said.
"Guys, it's not a big deal." She said trying to get them off the subject.
"It is so a big deal!" Rarity said grabbing her face with her hoofs and putting it close to her own face. "It's your first kiss! It is a HUGE deal! Why when I got my first kiss, I was so happy more than ever."
"Who was your first kiss?" Pinkie asked.
"Just the most handsome unicorn! Chodarling!"
(I know. Worst name ever!)
Every pony just look at their friend cause they've never heard of this Chodarling.
"Okay." Applejack said.
"I'm so glad you got yours Rainbow." She hugged the Pegasus. "Now it seems we've all experience kissing lips with some ponies."
But they both realized how strange their friends were acting. They look kinda sad but also embarrassed.
"Well, truth to be told," Applejack said. "I've never kissed any pony."
Rarity looked so in shock.
"Me either." Twilight said.
"Me too." Fluttershy said.
"Me three!" Pinkie said smiling.
"I know I did." Spike said with pride.
"Just cause I kissed you on the cheek, does not count Spikey wikey."
But then he lost his pride.
"I'm going to need to set you all one dates one day." But that's when she got an idea. She looked at Rainbow Dash and said "We should certainly start to get you two together very soon!"
Then she just couldn't take it.
"I do not have a crush on him!" She yelled. "I don't like him like him! I don't want a date and I don't care if I ever get kiss! Just leave me alone!" Then she flew off onto a high cloud in the sky.
The ponies waited for her to come down but obviously she wasn't.
"Don't worry dears." Rarity said not worried. "She'll come around."
"I am worried though." Fluttershy said. "I mean, Dumbbell might be plying a trick like he always is and she's trying not to fall for it. I know I wouldn't."
"I'm sure those boys don't play around when it comes to love."
"Fluttershy might be right Rarity." Twilight said. "Dumbbell has trick them before. Who knows? This might be one of them."
"We better keep an eye on this pony then." Applejack said.
"Okay. But I'm making cookies for later today!" Pinkie said.
"Is there gonna be gems in them?" Spike asked.
"Mm hm."
"Yes!"
They were worried their friend might get hurt but she could also be right. Maybe Dumbbell does like her.
But why tease them?
