After leaving Uta's place I decided to head to Hide's place to take up for my absence. As I walk down the busy streets of Tokyo I pass by Anteiku only to see a familiar blonde boy, I take a deep breath as I push the door open.

Hide's p.o.v.

I wait for my order as I think about Mira, it's been awhile since I've seen her, and I only hope that she is ok, all of the sudden the bell rings and I look to see who as entered only to see a familiar girl with beautiful black hair and blue eyes, as soon as she walked in my face lights up and I call her over.
"HEY MIRA!"
She looks over and smiles as she makes her way over, she looked beautiful today she had her hair in a messy bun, she was wearing black jeans with a gray sweater with white converse, I was also surprised to see that she was wearing glasses, and they suited her, she looked really cute.
She then takes a seat as she smiles.
"Hey Hide, how are you."
"I'm fine, um what about you, I haven't seem you in a while"
"Oh, yeah, sorry, I had some family business to attend." She said as she rubbed the
back of her neck.
"Ok, I was just worried." She then smiles, with made my mind explode, I always loved when she smiled, it was a nice smile, and I know I have probaly said that about a lot of girls, but Mira, she's different, I just know she's the one, all of the sudden Nishki came over to give me my coffee, I still can't get over the fact that he works here, I see that he gave Mira a weird look, and she just glared at him, but I just shook it off.
He then leaves so I decide to look at Mira taking in all of her beauty, once she noticed her cheeks flushed a bright red and all I could do was chuckle.
"Hide, your being weird."
"Sorry, I can't help it."
"Haha, I know."
Nishki then comes back to give Mira her coffee, and they have a stare down. And I can feel the intensity so I just sit back.

Mira's p.o.v.

Nishki that bastard is gonna get it, I stare him down until he gives up and walks away, I then push my glasses up as I take a sip of my coffee.
"It's really nice to see you again Hide."
"You too Mira."
And for awhile we enjoy each others silence.
"Well I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow at school?"
"Definitely, see you tomorrow Hide."
I smile as I watch him exit the store, I notice that I'm the only customer, so I take it upon myself to chew Nishki out.
"OI! Four eyes! What the hell was that!"
"What? Did I interrupt your date." He says as a smirk plays on his face.
"Like hell it was a date."
"Whatever you say, at least I'm not the only four eyes here now, so shut the hell up."
I scoff as I push my glasses up, at the moment Kaneki comes down.
"Hello Mira."
"Sup."
"Hey, when did you get glasses?"
"Shut up eyepatch."
"Watch it four eyes, you don't want the boss to come out here."
"OI! Shut the hell up!"
I grunt as I plop down onto of the counter.
"Hey! Get off of there!" Nishki yelled.
"Leave the kid be."
"Oh come on Komo, don't fall for her innocence, she's a total nut, so why does she get praised."
"Calm down Nishki, we just  want Mira to feel at home, and to keep her on our side, weather you like it or not she's a valuable asset to have." Irima said.
I smirked as I glared at Nishki, who was obviously irritated.
"Hey, um, how's Hina doing?" I asked as I look down at my hands.
"She's holding up, it'll take her awhile." Irima says.
"Yeah, I know that feeling." I said as I continued to look down, thinking of all the loved ones I lost. I then feel a hand on my shoulder, and look back to see the one and only Komo.
"Cheer up kid, you got us know, and Hina has all of us, so don't be so down."
"Consider us as your family." Irima says
"Yeah, we'll always be here for you" Kaneki said.
"Yeah, I guess we are." Nishki added.
I look at all of them with wide eyes, taken back at what they said, how they considered me as a part of their family. And for the first time in forever I smile, and it wasn't a fake smile, it was a full hearted real smile.
"There's that smile." Komo says.
"Thank you guys, really, I don't know what I'd do with out you. " I said.
"Am I hearing things, or did Mira just thank us." Nishki said.
"I know, I feel like I'm dreaming." Kaneki said, as Komo and Irima laugh, I than frown as I push my glasses up.
"I can take it back of you want."
"No, no, sorry, we're just not used to you being nice." Kaneki said.
"Well, don't go getting used to it, got it eyepatch."
"And she's back."
"OI! Shut it four eyes!"
"YOU WEAR GLASSES TOO, YOU IDIOT!"
"So!"
"Whatever, I'm done."
And with that he walked upstairs, I sigh as I jump off the counter.
"Well I'm out." I said as headed for the door.
"Bye Mira."
"Later kid."
"Stay safe Mira"
"I will, see you tomorrow." And with that I was off into the busy streets of Tokyo, I decided to travel by roof, to get away from the crowds, I pulled my jacket on as I pulled out a home made mask from my bag, since it'll be awhile till Uta is done with my mask, I pull out my homemade Fox mask and ran along the roof tops, I stop when I notice two CCG investigators asking people questions. I froze once they mentioned a little girl, knowing that they were talking about Hina, so they must've killed Ryokou. My blood boils as I begin to follow them, I follow them as they stop in an open area with no one around, both are men, one with blonde white hair, and a white coat, he looked mental to me, and the other with short black hair and a suit.
"It seems we have a little guest Amon."
I froze in place as they look in my direction, dammit, i'm screwed! I stand up as I stare at them through my mask.
"Why did you follow us? Oh could it be that you knew the ghoul I killed, the one with the daughter."
I glared at him with hatred as I clench my fist.
"She was so weak, I enjoyed ending her, so why don't you come down...and PLAY! " he yelled as he shot his Quinque in my direction, I jump into the air as I dodge his attack I flip as I land on the ground lightly on my feet facing them.
"So you finally come down."
"I'll kill you." I growled
"This should be fun."
He then swings his Quinque at me I jump into the air and land behind him, placing my foot on the small of his back and kicking him full force sending him forward.
"MADO!" The other one yelled as he charged at me with his Quinque, I pull out my sword as I block him I push off as I back flip into the the air.
"She's a tricky one Amon, watch your back."
The two of them face me as I look at them. I then charge at them with my sword I stab and slice, but never hit them, they're to fast.
"Hiding your Kaugene I see."
I scoff as I dodge his attack.
"Come on, LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO!" He yells as he charges at me, back up, only to back up into the other man, I turn and gasp, I then scream in pain as the man who's named Mado strikes my stomach, tearing my clothing leaving blood to pour out, his partner then uses his Quinque to push me forward with force causing my to roll forward and grunt in pain. All of the sudden someone jumps down in front of me and scoops me up.
"Yomo." I whispered as he jumped onto the roof and ran. He looked down at me and sighed.
"Your an idiot." Was all he said I saw Anteiku come into view I let out a little laugh. He then jumps down and pushes through the door, Irima, Nishki, Komo and Kaneki all life look up in shock to see me bleeding in Yomo's arms. Irima then ran up and holds my face.
"WHAT HAPPENED!"
"She thought it was a good idea to challenge the CCG."
"What an idiot." Nishki said
I wanted to say something but it hurt to much I then grunt as I clutch onto my stomach, dropping my sword and mask to the floor.
"What is going on." A new voice says, we all look to see Yoshimura, as soon as he sees me in Yomo's arm, he speaks.
"Yomo's take her up immediately, Kankei and Nishki get cleaning supplies. Irima make some soup, and Komo, please pick up Mira's things."
     Yomo rushes upstairs and places me on the bed, then Kaneki and Nishki rush in with Yoshimura behind them, he then tells them what to do, Kaneki comes up to me and lifts up my shirt to reveal a deep cut on my stomach.
"What happened? Why did you fight them?" Kaneki asked.
"I...was following them....ca-cause they killed Ryokou." I breath in as I grunt as Nishki applies a hot towel.
"They attacked me on-once they saw me...and I wasn't gonna let him win, so I fought back." I sighed.
"Your an idiot, you know that, your not a ghoul, so what made you think you could win, especially since you can't heal as fast as we do." Nishki said.
"I was able to hold my...own for awhile."
He then shoves a cloth in mouth.
"Bite down, your gonna need stitches, the wound is pretty deep." I bite down as Yoshimira came up and stitched up my wound, I bite down onto the towel holding back a scream as the needle goes in and out of my skin pulling my wound together, once he was done Nishki cleaned my wound again and patched it up, Kaneki then gave me a new shirt, they turned away as I pulled it on. Irima and Komo then came in, Irima then handed me some soup, I thanked her as I ate my soup.
"That was some risky shit you just did kid."
"You could've died! What were you thinking!" Irima yelled as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"I'm sorry." I said as I looked down and gripped the blankets into my fist, slightly shocking.
"But he mentioned Ryokou a-and how he enjoyed killing her, I wanted to kill him, make him suffer." I said as I tighten my grip, to wear my knuckles turned white.
"I couldn't- I just couldn't let him get away with killing her. HE TOOK AWAY HINAMI'S MOM! HE DESERVED TO DIE!" I cried out. All of the sudden Irima hugs me, my eyes widen as she tightens the hug I then wrap my arms around her.
"I know it's hard for you, but you have to be careful Mira, because believe it or not we care for you, and we would be devastated if you died today" Irima says as more tears spring from her eyes.
"So don't ever do that again! got it."
"Yeah, I got it." I said as a few tears rolled down cheek, Irima then pulls away and smiles, everyone then leaves me to rest, I lay down to think about today, maybe Irima was right, they are my family. And I love them.
