I woke up remembering that today was my first day at Kami University, so I immediately jumped out of bed and took a shower, I washed my body, and quickly jumped out, once I did I threw on a pair of black jeans and a neon pink crop top, along with white sandels, I then put my black hair into a bun, and I added a little makeup, I then grabbed my red jacket, bag, keys, sword and phone and I headed out the door. Ugh, I know I look super girly, but I don't want people to know who I w really am and what I do, so for now I'll just have to play the nice sweet innocent girl. I walked until I finally came to my new school, I looked up and took a deep breath.
   "Here we go."
I then walked onto the campus and tried to find my class, which was I guess my homeroom or something, I finally came to the class, the teacher noticed, and excused himself from the room. He smiled at me as I returned one.
     "You must be the new student from Mito. I'm your teacher Mr. Taioko. " He said.
     "Yes I am. And it's nice to meet you Sir." I said as I gave him a big smile.
      " Ok then, wait out here and come in when you get the signal." He said, I shook my head as he went back inside.
    "And we have a new student joining us today, why don't you come in and introduce yourself."
I guess that's his cue, so I then pushed the door open as I walked to the front of the class, everyone's eyes were on me, and then I noticed a familiar pair of carmel brown eyes, I looked up and smiled at Hide.

Hide's p.o.v

"And we have a new student joining us today, why don't you come in and introduce yourself." Mr. Taioko said as the doors and I looked to see the new student only to see Mira, I stared at her for awhile until she noticed, once she did she sent me a smile, and my heart melted, then she began to talk.

Mira's p.o.v

"Hello, my name is Mira Hisaki, and I'm from Mito, it's a pleasure to be in your class this year, and I hope that we can all be friends." I said as I smiled at my fellow classmates.
  "Thank you very much Ms. Hisaki, you may sit where ever you'd like." Mr. Taioko.
    "Ok." I said as I walked up the stairs, and I saw an empty spot next to Hide, so I made my way to him and plopped down right next to him, I then turn to him with a smile on my face.
      "Hey Hide, i'm glad we're in the same class." I said.
        "Yea, me too." Hide said with a smile plastered on his lips.
       "Hey, later do you mind giving me a our after class?" I asked.
       "Sure thing." He said.
         "NAGACHICKA! You better not be getting Ms. Hisaki in trouble on her first day." Mr. Taioko said as he stared at us.
        "Uh...no Sir....sorry." Hide said, as every one giggled, Mr. Taioko then got back to his lesson, I looked at Hide and smiled as he returned one. When class ended, I meet up with Hide in the court,I saw him and walked over.
     "HEY HIDE!" I yelled as I began to jog towards him.
       "Hey Mira." He said.
       "So ya gonna give me my tour." I said as I playfully punched his shoulder. He then ran ahead of me.
      "Right this way my lady." He said as he bowed.
      "Haha, your such a dork." I said.
      "I know, come on let's go." He said, I then followed him as he showed me around Kami, and it was so huge, I then stopped realizing a certain book worm wasn't with us.
      "Hey, where's Kaneki?" I asked, Hide then looked down and sighed.
      "He's in the hospital." He said.
      "NO WAY REALLY! WHAT HAPPENED!" I yelled.
        "He was attacked by a ghoul, that's all I know, I try to visit him, but every time I do they all ways say that he isn't there." He said.
       "THAT'S BULLSHIT! WE'RE SEEING HIM AFTER SCHOOL!" I yelled. Hide was shocked of my sudden outburst and then he relaxed and let out a small chuckle.
     "What's so funny." I said.
     "Oh it's nothing, it's just that you act as if you've known us your entire life." Hide said.
     "Oh sorry." I said.
     "Don't be, anyways let's get to class." He said.
      "Ok." I said as we walked to class, when school ended we went off to the hospital to visit Kaneki. We walk in and I see the nurse behind the counter.
     "Let me handle this." I said as I walked up to the counter.
      "Hello what can undo for you?" She asked.
       "Hi, um, we're looking for a friend, his name is Ken Kaneki, he should be here." I said. She then looked thorough her book.
     "I'm sorry, but we don't have a patient here that goes by the name Ken Kaneki." She said, I began to get frustrated.
     "Well he was attacked by a ghoul, an this is the only hospital in the area, so he has to be here." I said, and I could tell that she knew I was pretty pissed off.
     "I'm sorry, but I don't know." She said. I then stomped away towards Hide.
      "Well you tried." He said.
      "Oh, we're not done yet." I said.
      "Huh?!"
       "We're going with plan B." I said.
       "What's plan B?" He asked.
        "Using my feminine charm." I said as I looked around for a guy who worked at the hospital.
        "WHAT!?" Hide yelled, I smiled at him as I walked up to guy, he looked like a nurse, so he must be able to help. I then get a cute and fluffy and very girly as I walk up to him.
    "Excuse me, but can you be a gentle man and help me?" I asked him as I used my girly voice, and I fluttered my eyes.
      "What do you need?" He asked, not seaming interested at all, I then upped my game, as I complemented him.
     "Oh just a patients room, and can I say, that you are the cutest worker here." I said, again he didn't give in.
     "I'm sorry but I can't help you with that." He said.
      "Oh come on, a
can't you help a nice girl out." I said as I winked at him. He then sighed, and I knew that he gave in, I then smiled.
      "Don't take this the wrong way but, your really not that pretty or good at flirting." He said. My eyes went wide, as I stake went through heart.
     "HUH!?" I yelled, I stared at me then walked away.
      "DON'T WORRY, I'M SURE SOMEONE WILL THINK YOUR PRETTY!" He yelled as he continued to walk.
    "HAHAH! That was hilarious!" Hide said, I then turned to him still with a shocked look on my face.
     "Not....pretty." I said.
      "Hey, come on, what he said wasn't true, so calm down." He said.
       "I'LL SHOW YOU PRETTY!" I yelled as Hide held me back from chasing the guy and tearing his head off.
      "HEY! CALM DOWN MIRA!" Hide yelled I then stopped as I walked out the door.
       "Fine." I said, Hide then caught up with me and we started to talk, we then went to Anteiku together, when we walked in I saw Touka staring at me, I gave her a little evil smile as I sat down next to Hide, and instead of Touka taking our order an old man did.
    "Hello, i'm the manager of Anteiku and I'll be taking your orders today." He said, I then gave him a smile.
      "I would like a carmel frap please." I said.
     "And I would like an iced coffee with a turkey sandwich please." Hide said.
      "Ok, your order will be here shortly." He said as he walked away. Why would the manager only take our orders, could it be that Touka told him about me, does he see me as a threat, well we'll have to wait and see. We waited and then out orders came.
     "Enjoy you two." He said.
       "Thank you." Hide and I said as he left, we then dogged in.
       "So Hide, how long have you known Kaneki?" I asked.
         "Oh, we've known each other since we were little, I moved here and I had no friends, I saw him reading alone and talked to him, in then asked if he wanted to be my first friend, and he agreed, we've been friends since." Hide said.
     "Awe, that's so cute." I said.
      "What about you Mira, you have any best friends." He asked, my smile then slowly faded as I looked down.
      "I've never had any friends, it was always hard for me when I was little, I was always shy and didn't like to talk to anyone, so I guess I missed that opportunity." I said.
      "Mira, i'm sorry I didn't know." Hide said, I smiled at him.
       "Don't be, that was the old me, and besides I have you and Kaneki now, and you guys are just perfect." I said. Hide then smiled.
     "Yeah, I know, we're pretty great aren't we." He said.
       "Defiantly." I said, we then laughed and talked some more, until I realizes it was pretty late.
       "Well I better go." I said as I got up.
      "Really are you sure, I mean it's dark out and you might get hurt." Hide said.
      "Hide I'll be fine ok, now get home safe ok." I said.
       "Ok, bye Mira." Hide said.
        "Bye Hide." I said as I walked out, I then made it home safe and sound. I unlocked my door as I plopped down onto my bed. I then grabbed my phone and started to text Hide.

Me: hey are you home?
Hide: yeah, what about you?
Me: I'm good.
Hide: ok that's good to hear.....so did you like Kami.
Me: liked it, I loved it! It's amazing, it's so big!
Hide: haha, glad you liked it.
Me: yeah...hey Hide, can I ask you something.
Hide: yeah, what's up.
Me: are you my friend, do you think of me as your freind.
Hide: what kind of a question is that! Of course your my friend Mira, why what's up?
Me: nothing, I was just wondering.
Hide: ok, well I have to go.
Me: ok, night see you tomorrow.
Hide: alright, night Mira.

I then put my phone down and covered myself with the sheets. And I drifted off to sleep. Ugh, what am I doing, i'm being....nice, but I can't help it, this boy, he just makes me want to be....happy, whatever, I just need to forget and sleep.
