Previously on My Flashlight

Mira hummed softly as she drank her coffee. It reminded her of the coffee at Anteiku, her eyes clouded with tears as she slowly turned around. Her eyes widened as she saw a purple haired female, smiling softly, a tear had escaped Hasie's eye as Mira's eyes widened and her mouth was slightly agape as tears ran down her cheeks.

"Touka..." she whispered.

Now

Hori stood alone in a dark ally, holding the black shirt of Mira Hisaki in her small hands. A figure jumped down, he wore a black outfit, with a scarecrow mask, and a black hat.

"Here ya go." Hori said as she handed him the shirt, he took it from her hands carfully and straightened it out, as if even the smallest wrinkle would ruin it. He then handed Hori her money. The small girl smiled as she walked away, leaving the man by himself. He hugged the shirt before smelling it.

"Mira...Hisaki." a rough voice said.

"Oh hey, prince Urie. I guess they let you out of the hospital." Shirazu said as he walked through the door, to see Urie on the couch as he read the news paper.

"I'm not back to 100 percent, so I won't be able to participate in missions for a while." Urie said.

"Oh, I see, don't worry. Leave everything to us, and get some rest." Shirazu said as he smirked while leaning over on the couch and patted Urie on the shoulder, "Thank goodness, though!"

'Why are you touching me. Why are you laughing?' Urie thought as Shirazu began to laugh. While Mutsuki smiled lightly at the two, he the turned his head to see Saiko peaking her head out with an ice cream in her mouth, once she noticed him she freaked out and shut the door.

"Shirazu." Mutsuki said.

"I know...but what are we supposed to do?"

"Is something wrong?" Urie asked as he continued to read.

"The Suzuya squad tracked down Nutcracker, but it sounds like it's gonna get messy." Shirazu said.

"We'll be participating in the investigation with Suzuya squad starting tomorrow, so we can't just keep letting Saiko sleep all day." Mutsuki said as Urie set his paper down and stood up.

"Let's go to Yonebayashi's room." Urie said.

"About time."

The three turned to see Mira with her hands on her hips with a smirk.

"Miss Hisaki?" Mutsuki said.

"Saiko's been in hibernation long enough." Mira started as she cracked her knuckles, "Reminds me of a four eyed loser I knew, always tried to get us to help him get a break from work." Mira said as Mutsuki and Shirazu shivered. The four arrived at her door and banged on it.

"Saiko! We know you're in there! Get your ass out here!" Shirazu yelled.

"It's not working." Mutsuki said.

"Then we have no choice." Mira said.

"Are we doing this?" Shirazu asked.

"Yeah." Urie said as his kagune came out.

Mira smirked as he kicked the door down with full force, Urie and Shirazu stood on each side of her with their kagunes out, while Mutsuki stood back.

"Kagunes! You two...are you actually Quinx?!" Saiko yelled as she held her ps.

"So are you!" Shirazu said as he took her ps out of her hands, freaking her out.

"Why aren't you participating in the investigations?" Shirazu asked as he sat down.

"Well, that's...I mean, squad leader Urie was like..." Saiko said as she laid down.

"Well I'm the squad leader now."

"Huh? Squad leader Urie got fired? Did you do something lascivious?!"

'Shut up.' Urie thought.

"Don't worry about me." Urie said.

"Anyway, this is an order from your squad leader. Work dammit."

"Aw, but...I can totally sustain NEET lifestyle with my current pay." Saiko said carelessly.

"I guess you at least realize you're a NEET." Shirazu said.

"I'm going back to bed." Saiko said as she covered herself.

"Hey! Get back out here you lazy ass!" Shirazu yelled as he tried to yank her blanket off.

"Stop! Don't peel me open! Bagworms are precious!"

"That's it!" Mira yelled as she ripped the blanket off.

"You peeled me open!" Saiko cried out as the raging ravenette snarled, a red glint in her blue eyes.

"Saiko..." she whispered, she then grabbed Saiko by her shirt and held her out, Mira's right leg was perched up a bit as she pulled back her fist, "Show respect to your superiors, dammit! Do you know what that means you brat?!"

"Ahhh! She's scary!"

"Damn right I am!" Mira raged as Saiko struggled.

"She's a monster!"

"I'll tear you to shreds!"

The other three just watched, Sakio then stopped struggling as she looked at Mira with a blank look.

"Who are you again?"

Mira froze as her eyes widened, the other three looking at Saiko in shock.

"You mean...after all this time...you don't know who I am?" Mira asked as Saiko said nothing as a bunch of irk marks appeared on Mira's head as she gritted her teeth, "Gives me more of a reason to bury you ten feet under you brat!" Mira raged as Saiko freaked out again. Mutsuki hugged Mira around the waist.

"Calm down teach!"

"Yeah, no need to get worked up!" Shirazu said as he tried to help Mutsuki.

"Yonebayashi." Urie said as Saiko stopped struggling, Mira dropped her as she was pulled back by Shirazu and Mutsuki.

"Aye." Saiko said.

"Did you know that the commission has plans to relieve you of your duties." Urie said as Saiko sat up in fear.

"Seriously?" Shirazu asked as Mira smirked, knowing full well that Urie was just lying.

"Your life of leisure here is financed by commission funds. Waste will be eliminated. That's how the world works." Urie said as Saiko paled, "It'd proably be hard to get by in the normal world with that body."

"Yeah, that'd sort of suck..." Shirazu said.

"Wh-what should I do?" A shocked Saiko asked.

"You need to devote yourself to the squad and produce some results before they finalize their decision. That's your only choice."

"Devote myself...before it's finalized..." Saiko said as she picked up her game, "This stupid thing!" She said as she held it up, "I'll log out now." Saiko said as they sighed, "Squad leader Shirazu!" Saiko said as her fist were held up, "Yonebayashi Saiko will now work!"

"R-Right...Good. I mean, that's just normal, but...Anyway, we'll be leaving at 7:30 tomorrow. Make sure you don't oversleep."

"Aye, aye! I'm going to bed now! Right this instant! Immediatly and promptly!" Saiko said as she laid down and covered herself.

Mira and Mutsuki fixed Saiko's door.

"Urie." Shirazu called out as he stopped walking, and turned around a bit, "Thanks for persuading her. It pisses me off, but you really are amazing. It really does piss me off though."

"It was impressive." Mutsuki said.

"It was, good job, Urie." Mira praised.

"Why couldn't you act like that when you were squad leader?!" Shirazu asked as he pointed a finger at Urie.

"I had some time to reflect..." Urie said as he turned away and walked, waving his hand a little, Mira smiled softly, while the other two were dumbfounded.

"My boys are getting along!" Mira cheered as she put her arms around the two and brought them down, since they were taller then her. Their faces pressed into her breast as she hugged them.

"H-huh?!" Shirazu blushed.

"H-Hisaki?!" Mutsuki yelled flustered.

Haise, Mira, Urie and Mutsuki sat across from Suzuya's squad, two of their memebers missing, being Shirazu and Saiko.

"There are a few people still missing, but let's begin." a man with long black hair and white eyes said, this man being second ranked Hanbee Abara.

"I'm here!" Juuzou Suzuya said as he opened the door smiling, his once white hair, now black.

"Good morning, Assistant special investigator Juuzou Suzuya!" His squad said as they all bowed.

"Oh, hey!" Juuzou said as he saluted them.

"Hey, Juuzou!" Haise said as he stood up and waved.

"Haise!" Juuzou said as he ran towards Hiase, who held his hands up while Juuzou searched him and found candy.

"You're the best Haise!" Juuzou said as he held the candy, while Haise had his arms crossed over his chest, eyes closed as he nodded his head. Juuzou turned as he saw the ravenette, who was avoiding his gaze as she sweat nervously, "Mira!" Juuzou cheered as he threw him self at the girl, who's eyes widened as she was knocked out of her chair, causing her to let out a squeak, as Juuzou squeezed her waist.

'Cute.' Everyone thought.

"Wh-what the hell! Let go, Juuzou!" The girl yelled as Juuzou rubbed his cheek against hers.

"I missed you! I know you've got something for me!" Juuzou said as he searched her pockets and found two more knifes.

"You like them?" Mira asked as she stood up and dusted herself off.

"They're great! You're the coolest Mira!"

Mira smirked at Haise as she gave Juuzou a thumbs up.

"I'm so sorry we're late!" Shirazu yelled as he ran through the doors with Saiko on his back.

"Shirazu...and Saiko." Haise said.

"I'm so sorry, Sassan! I'm so late." Shirazu panted as he walked up.

"No, it's okay...more importantly, thank you for bringing Saiko." Haise said as he held his hands up.

"Please take a look at the documents before you." Abara said.

After the whole meeting Mira decided to part from the others for awhile. She sighed as she hugged the white trench coat tighter to her body as she white spider lily's in her hand. The cemetary came into view, Mira was silent as she walked through passed the many graves. She stopped upon one, and gazed at it longingly.

Mira sighed as she bent down and placed the spider lily's infront of the grave. Over the past two years she had finally accepted the fact that Hide wans't coming home, that he was....dead. And Mira hated to think that, but it has been 2 years and he never walked through the door. She then remembered the conversation she had with chief Washuu and Akira.

"What do you mean I have to give up? We can still search for him!"

Washuu sighed as he rubbed his temple, "Mira, it's been a year and we have no traces of him whatsoever, it's time to let go."

Mira's eyes widened as she stepped back and shook her head as she clenched her fist tightly, "It's not like you've been much help! You just sit here on your ass all day! He's...he's still out there waiting...scared." Mira whispered the last part. Akira sighed as she placed a hand on Mira's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, but you have to let go. Do you think he'd want you to waste your life away searching for a dead end. He'd want you to move past it and move on, keep walking foreward." Akira said.

Mira breathed in heavily as Akira's words played in her head. She looked down as she nodded her head and removed Akira's hand from her shoulder and walked out of the room quietly. That night she let out her final tears she held for the blonde.

Mira smiled lightly at the grave before her.

"It sure is lonely without you here, Hide." Mira whispered as the wind blew her short black hair, it danced behind her. She turned around and walked away, the light smile still placed on her face as she went back home.

Haise and Mira stood infront of the squad, minus Urie.

"In order to get Nutcrackers attention we'll go to the party tonight dressed as girls." Haise said.

"Huh?!" Mutsuki and Shirazu said as Mira smiled lightly.

"That's right, you're goal is to get her to notice you and invite you to meet up with her." Mira said as she held out dresses. "Time to look like girls you three!" Mira said as she pointed at the three boys.

After that the 5 stood by eachother as the party went on. All three looking perfect and worked out the look, considering that Saiko and Mira were girls to begin with, the only one standing out was poor Shirazu, with his height and muscular build he just looked like a really bad cross dresser.

"No way I'm doing this!" Shirazu yelled, wearing a tight pink dress and pink flats, he wore a blonde wig that was in a side ponytail and curled, along with make up. Mira got him good.

"Hush your voice, Shirazu, that isn't very lady like." Haise said in a soft voice. He wore a black wig, with bangs in the front and a red and black dress with make up. He pulled off the look perfectly.

"Sorry I can't be lady like, but I'm a guy Mr. Sass! At least you and Mutuski can pull it off!"

Mutsuki smiled, wearing a yellow dress with a black over coat and make up, along with a wig, "Well..."

"And Saiko, Hisaki...never mind."

"Hey!" Saiko yelled.

After that, they seperated. Mira leaned against the wall next to Haise as they watched the others try to dance. Mira laughed lightly as Shirazu tried to flirt, but failed, her gaze fell onto Haise.

"You really pull that look off." She mused.

Haise smiled lightly, "Thank you. You look pretty tonight." Haise said as he looked at Mira, who wore a tight black dress that was slightly above her knees, her short black hair was slightly curled and she wore black heels and light make up. She blushed lightly.

"He-hey! I look pretty everyday!"

"Ye-yeah, sorry about that." Haise said as he scratched the back of his neck. Shirazu and Saiko joined them as they watched a drunk Mutsuki talk with one of Nutcrackers workers. He came back all cheery.

"Hey teach! I got invited!" Mutsuki cheered.

"No way!"

"Really!"

Saiko and Shirazu yelled as Mira smiled and Haise nodded his head.

"Let's celebrate!" Mutsuki yelled as the other two cheered and went out onto the dance floor. Dancing strangely, Mira chuckled as she watched them goof off.

'You guys are so werid...I'm glad to call you my students...my family.'

Sorry, I couldn't find the episode so I went off of it by memory, and I'm not sure if I got Hide's birth year right, most people said that Tokyo Ghoul took place in 2012 and re: takes place around 2014-15, something like that. So it may not be accurate.
