(At the end where Hide talks to Kaneki, I will be going by the manga and not the anime, so don't be to confused, and sorry, but I like the manga scene better.)

Previously on My Flashlight

"One eye." Mira mumbled.

The One Eyes Owl hardened it's Kugane's an smirked as it looked at Mira, who's eyes widened in fear. The One Eyes Owl smirked as it swung it's Kugane at Mira, who's eyes were wide with fear and her mouth slightly open, and her life flashed before her eyes.

Now

It all happened in slow motion as Mira stood still as The One Eyed Owl raced for her. Her eyes widened as she waited for the impact, only for her to be pushed down. Mira hit the ground hard, sliding on her side as she looked up to see the cause of it. And there stood Shinohara, in all his glory, Mira looked up at him with wide eyes, and all Shinohara did was smile as he and the other investigators attacked.

"Damn you, old man." Mira muttered as she got up to help. only to be knocked back into the wall. Mira winced as a hot sticky liquid rolled down her head, she fell and looked up to see all of the investigators down, all accept Juuzou, who looked scared.

"Damn it." Mira mumbled as she quickly got up and grabbed her sword, she swiftly moved in front of Juuzou, who was surprised by her sudden attempt to protect him, Mira got into a fighting stance as she stared The One Eyed Owl in the eye. The ghoul roared as it swung it's Kugane at the two, she swiftly held her arms out to protect Juuzou and take the blow, she closed her eyes waiting for the impact, but it never came, she opened her eyes to see Shinohara once more, he was on his knees as he smiled at the two, Mira moved slightly so that she was next to Juuzou.

"Shinohara...?" Juuzou asked as his hand went out a little.

"Dammit!" Mira shouted as blood came out of Shinohara's mouth as he fell over. Juuzou still had his hand out as his eyes were wide and the ghoul smiled. The ghoul then hit both Mira and Juuzou away. Mira let out a pained scream as a medal pipe pierced her arm, she looked at Juuzou to see his leg under the pipes, and it looked broken, but that didn't seem to bother him as much as he continued to look at Shinohara. She saw a look in his eyes as the Owl raised it's Kugane to strike at Shinohara, Juuzou swiftly got up.

"Wait!" Mira called, but it was too late, he was already limping towards the two, but his foot stopped him as he fell, he looked up and saw as the One Eyed Owl smiled and brought it's Kugane up, before striking it down on Shinohara. Mira's eyes widened as she pulled the pipe out of her arm, blood pouring out. She then heard an agonizing scream, and saw Juuzou on his knees as he screamed.

Buildings exploded and the debris fell down, crushing cars and investigators as Aogiri members jumped down to attack. Investigators took their positions as they attacked the Aogiri members. But were quickly taken out.

"Let's go, Noro." Tatara said as the two jumped down and more debris fell, creating clouds of smoke, and as it cleared there stood Kaneki as he faced Amon.

"May I pass?" Kaneki asked.

"No. You may not." Amon said as he smiled slightly.

Akira used her Quinque as the Aogiri members attacked. But she took them out swiftly as she took deep breaths, Takizawa moved up as he shoot the ghouls, breathing heavily.

"Just how many of them are there?!"

"Takizawa! Do not let them get past here!" Akira said.

"Yeah!"

"What?! There's...another owl?" The investigator said as he looked down I shock.

***

A knife hit The One Eyed Owls Kugane, the ghoul slowly turned it's head to see that it was Juuzou who threw the knife. Mira panted heavily as she held her bleeding arm. Juuzou used his scythe to hold himself up as he swiftly threw more knifes at the ghoul.

"Idiot." Mira mumbled.

"That tickles!" The ghoul said as Juuzou took off toward it. he jumped into the air as he swung his Quinque at the ghouls, Kugane, which barley grazed it as he fell, The One Eyed Owl used it's Kugane to hold his chin up before pushing him away and laughing. Juuzou got back up again as Mira sighed. He then attacked the ghoul again, only to be hit into a wall, but he got back up again and limped forward.

"Stop, you damn idiot!" Mira yelled as she took a step forward, Juuzou yelled as he jumped into the air to attack, only to be hit back again.

Naki laughed as he killed investigators left and right.

Meanwhile Akira was panting heavily as she took a slight step back.

"Investigator Mado..." 

"Yes, sir?"

"Go and provide backup for the 4th Division."

"But if we do that , the main force..."

"It doesn't matter. Go."

"Copy."

Amon and Kaneki stared each other down. When a light post fell, and the two began to fight. One strike after another, One attack after another, Amon became frustrated as none of his attacks hit him. Kaneki then flipped back and landed as he stared at Amon. Amon panted as he stared at Kaneki as he remembered his words back then, Kaneki didn't look back as he used his Kugane to destroy the incoming debris from hitting three Investigators.

'He saved them?' Amon thought as he looked at The Eyepatch in surprise and smiled slightly, 'Just what are you up to?'

"What is the point of this fight? If possible, I do not wish to fight you. However..." Kaneki said as he suddenly leaped forward, surprising Amon, and knocking him back.

Akira as she looked ahead, distracted. Takizawa came in and shoot at some ghouls.

"Mado! What are you daydreaming for?!" Takizawa asked as Akira looked down and he ran up to her.

"Sorry." Akira said as Takizawa turned away.

"Investigator Mado, I'll take it from here." Takizawa stated suddenly, surprising Akira, "You go assist Investigator Amon, and the 4th Division."

"But..."

"Your orders..." Takizawa said, making Akira jump, "...are to back up the 4th Division, right?!" Takizawa asked as Akira hesitantly nodded before running off, "Let's go!" Takizawa said as they began to shoot the ghouls that approached.

Amon slowly got up and picked his Quinque up as he smiled slightly and held it up. He then pressed a button and the whole Quinque transformed. Amon spun it around before getting into stance,

Takizawa stood there shaking as he was the only investigator left, Tatara retreated his Kugane as he looked up at Tatara.

"Hoji's subordinate." Tatara said as Takizawa shakily raised his gun, "Ho...?" Tatara asked as he walked forward, Takizawa screamed as he began to shoot at him, only for Tatara to grab his neck and lift him up as Takizawa struggles while crying, "Where is Hoji?" Tatara asked as Takizawa cried and raised his hands to grip Tatara's arm.

"Investigator Hoji...will not be beaten by the likes of you!" Takizawa cried out.

"Is that so?" Tatara said as he threw Takizawa into the air, his eyes widened as a Kugane pierced through his stomach. Noro retreated his Kugane as Hide appeared a tear in his eye.

"Seido...?" Hide spoke as Noro's head turned to face him.

Juuzou stood up as he limped forward.

"Shinohara..."

"You're gonna get yourself killed!" Mira shouted as Juuzou threw a very weak punch at the Owl, and another, and another, the ghoul smiled before hitting him back again. Juuzou's hands twitched slightly as Mira pushed herself off the wall, she limped as she picked up her sword, the Owl began to laugh as Mira gritted her teeth, all of the Investigators stared at Mira as she limped forward, before she sprinted while raising her sword up.

"Damn you!" Mira shouted as she jumped up and swung her sword, the investigators watched with wide eyes. The One Eyed Owl simply laughed as it grabbed Mira's arm, causing her to drop her sword, before it slowly crushed her arm, Mira's eyes widened as a sickening crack rung out and her sharp scream pierced the air.

Amon yelled as he launched forward and attacked Kaneki, hit after hit, a loud scream is what distracted Kaneki for the moment as he looked up.

"Mira..." He whispered as Amon took the chance to strike him, cutting his shoulder slightly. He then struck his stomach and Kaneki jumped back as his hand held his face as he screamed and another Kugane came out as a mask formed around his face. But he managed to push it back. he looked up and used his Kugane to launch himself into the air. He then attacked Amon, his Kugane disappeared and reappeared when needed as he fought him, and once again Amon managed to strike his stomach, but he also managed to hit Amon, who yelled as he ran forward aiming his Quinque,  but Kaneki used his Kugane to catch it and the two pushed each other back. Both kneeled as they caught their breaths, a small smile appeared on Amon's features as Kaneki stood up.

"I really...don't wish to fight you." Kankei said.

"I'm afraid...that's impossible." Amon said as he stood up and another piece of the building fell off, creating more dust to cover them as Kaneki slowly took his mask off.

"May I ask...what your name is?" Kaneki asked.

"Amon. Amon Kotaro." Amon said as the two closed their eyes.

'If only we had met some other way. I would like to have a long chat with you.' Amon thought as he and Kaneki charged at each other.

Akira's eyes widened as a ghoul attacked her, knocking her down. She then swiftly got up.

Amon was on his knees as his Quinque broke.

'I'm sorry, Akira. I let it get destroyed'

Amon slowly fell and hit the ground as Kaneki's Kugane disappeared and he fell to the ground too. The two laid motionless.

Mira screamed in pain as the Owl laughed and flung her away, she grunted as she hit the ground, near Juuzou, who was starting to get up and Mira clutched her broken arm.

"Don't" She whispered as Juuzou turned his head slightly in her direction, he still tied to get up, but fell slightly, only to be caught be a man in a white coat, who set him down softly.

"You're here." The Owl said as the man set down his brief case and stared at the Owl.

The One Eyed Owl began to shot pieces of it's Kugane at the man, but he dodged them as he brought out his gun and charged it as he shoot at the ghoul, who dodged them as it shot more shards at the man, who only swiftly ran forward with a sword and a chunk of it's Kugane off, the Owl roared as it threw more shards at him and started to regenerate. They attacked each other as the man used his Quinque to make black poles to block the owl as he shot a blast at it and formed a shield as it shot more shards before jumping into the air and striking his shield, cracking it, the man stepped back as he gripped his sword and cut the ghouls arm off, the ghoul grew angry as it shot more shards  and ran off, before stopping upon Yoshimura's body, Mira's eyes widened as she stood up and limped towards them as she laughed and picked him up.

"You sick bastard!" Mira shouted as she ran, picking up her sword, "Old man!"  Mira shouted as The One Eyed Owl smiled at her and opened her mouth before shoving him in, and eating him, "NO!" Mira shouted as tears weld up in her eyes and she fell to her knees. The ghoul laughed as it jumped off of the building, the man following after it as he charged his gun and shot a blast at it. But the blast missed as it landed on the floor, hitting investigators back as it ran and the man hung from the building as he watched it run.

Blood dripped on the floor as Kaneki made his way to the underground, while images of his friends entered his mind. Yoshimura smiled.

'Sir.'

A smiling Touka flashed through his mind next.

'Touka.'

Then Hinami, Nishki, Mira, Irimi and Koma flashed through his name.

'Everyone...everyone'

Kaneki sat against the wall as he gripped his stomach and fell down as he was under ground, he reached his hand out.

"I....I...will save you...I...will save you...I..." Kaneki said as he laid there, his thought going wild.

Touka ran down the street as she stopped and looked around before running off again, not noticing her younger brother Ayoto, watching her.

"Dumb sister..."

Akira walked forward, before seeing Amon's broken Quinque, she stopped as she slowly fell to her knees.

"Get out!!! Get out!!!" Kaneki yelled as he grasped his head, trying to get Rize entered his mind again, "It's mine!!! You're gonna fucking die like this!!!" Kaneki yelled as he punched his stomach over and over again, "Get out of my body!!! MY body is mine!!! Give! Give! Give!" Kaneki shouted as he fell back, "Give it to me!!!! My flesh!!! Mine!" Kaneki yelled as he held his head and his Kugane came out.

'No. I wasn't the one eating ghoul.'

Kaneki screamed in pain again.

'The one being eaten...was me.'

"Yo, Kaneki!" A voice said as Hideyoshi Nagachika appeared, "...What's with the getup? That in style these days?"
