~ 2 months later ~

I ran my hair through my long black hair, it now reached to my lower back, and my eyes still hold the same shade of deep blue. I slowly opened my eyes to see that a familer blonde was no longer in bed with me. I rolled over onto my stomach and hugged to pillow to my chest. I moved in with Hide about a month ago, and we've been together since I was released from the hospital.

~ release from hospital ~

I yawned I got all of my stuff. I waited for a familer blonde to come as I sat at the front of the hospital.

"Mira!"

I turned to see Hide running in my direction. I gave him a small smile as he stood in front of me, breathing heavily. I let out a laugh.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm great! Sorry for being late."

"It's fine. Come on."

We walked side by side as we walked down the streets of Tokyo. I yawned as I threw my arms in front of me to stretch them out.

"Ah, it feels so good to be out of that bed."

I looked over at Hide, who looked worried and scared.

"Hide? You okay?"

He stopped walking in front of me, which caused me to also stop. He turned around to face me, and stomped up to me, grabbing my hands and pulling them to his chest. He stared deeply into my eyes, which caused me to blush deeply.

"H-hide." I stuttered.

"Mira." He spoke calmly.

I stared into his ceramel eyes.

"After seeing you in that hospital bed, hurt. It really got me thinking. And it worries me that it'll happen again....so I'm asking you. Do-do you want to be my....girlfriend." He rushed out. I looked at him in surprise.

"I promise to take care of you, and I'll protect you!" He rushed. I still said nothing, he looked flustered and looked away.

"It's okay, it was ju-" He said before I cut him off by placing my lips onto his. He was shocked, but soon melted into my kiss. He wrapped his hands around my waist to pull me in. After a bit we pulled away. I gazed up at his eyes and gave him and light smile.

"Hideyoshi Nagachika. I would love to be your girlfriend." I spoke softly. As I threw my arms around his waist and buried my face into his chest. For a moment he kept his arms at his side, before hesitantly bringing them around my small figure and pulled me in closer to his body. And we stayed like that for a moment in peace. As we hugfed, I couldn't help but smile. Finally letting happiness take over.

~ Present time ~

I smiled at the memory. Of course I still went to Anteiku when ever I could to visit my ghoul friends. And surprisingly, Touka and I have become friends over to time. And it felt nice. I sighed as I heard the bathroom door open, I lifted my head up a little and watched as Hide Quietly closed the door, drying his wet hair with a towel as he wore grey swearts, with no shirt. He must think that I'm still asleep. I smiled as I pretended to sleep. Hearing as he cursed to himself quietly as he stubbed his toe on the chair. I couldn't help but let out a little laugh. Which blew my cover.

"Mira?"

I said nothing as I buried my face further into the pillow, hoping he wouldn't notice. I sighed once I thought he was gone. But I was wrong.

"I know your awake." Someone whispered into my ear, which caused me to let out a shriek and fall onto the floor. I groaned as I rubbed my head. Hide laughed his ass off as I rubbed my head and slowly got up.

"Your an ass." I mumbled.

"But you love me."

"That I do." I spoke as I picked up a pillow and chucked it at his face. I pulled down his white shirt that o was wearing so it could cover my underwear. And I lauged. He then proceeded to chase me around. He at last grabbed me by my waist and threw me onto the bed, and he fell on top of me, his face in my chest as he breathed heavily. I smiled as I ran my fingers through his hair. I leaned up a bit, causing him to get up. He stood between my legs as I looked up at him.

"You started it." I whispered.

"I know." He lauged as he crawled onto of me, hovering over me, his legs between mine. I smiled up at him as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Mmm. I love you." I mumbled.

Hide bent down and pressed his lips to mine. Placing his hand onto my waist as he held my close to him he pulled away and rested his head on mine and gave me is famous smile.

"I've I ever told you that I love you."

"Couple of times, why?"

"Because I really love you, Mira."

I smiled as I pulled him down and locked my lips with his. I giggled as he pulled the blanket over us. And we spent our morning in bliss.

I stood with Hide at the front door as I placed his hat onto his head.

"Got everything?" I asked.

"Yep." He spoke as he bent down to give me a kiss.

"Okay. Have fun at work, okay."

"Okay." He said as he stole one more kiss from my before mounting his bike.

"Love you." He said as he rode away. I sighed as I leaned against the door way, watching him rids off.

"You too." I whispered as I shut the door. These past couple of months, while Hide was working I would go on little missions on a search for Kaneki. Apparently he was an S class ghoul who went by the name 'Eye Patch'. Seems he took a liking to the name I would call him. He also was with Aogiri. I slipped on my red jacket and slipped my sword onto my back, I would snuck my mask from under under a piece of loose floor board and slipped it into my purse. I walked out of the house and looked the door and made a trip to Anteiku. The familiar sent of coffee hit my nose as I walked into the shop. No one was there, Komo looked up and smiled once hey saw me.

"Hey, kiddo!"

"Hey, Komo. Is Touka here?"

"Yeah, I'll get her."

I nodded as went upstairs.

"Funny how you two are friends now."

I groaned as I turned to see Nishki.

"Shut it four eyes."

"You wear glasses too!"

I let out a laugh.

"I was only joking, calm down." He frowned as he went back to cleaning tables as he mumbled to himself. I heard foot steps coming from upstairs and watched as Touka walked down.

"Hey." She greeted.

"Hey." I spoke as I say down s d she joined me.

"I'm going out to look for him again."

"Again?"

"Yep."

Touka smiled and nodded her head.

"Be careful."

"Go it." I said as I got up, but before I walked out the door, Touka spoke up.

"Mira."

I turned around to face her.

"Thank you." She said.

I smiled as I lifted my hand to make a peace sign and walked out of the door.

~ hours later, 3rd person p.o.v ~

"P-please, leave me alone." A bloody ghoul spoked as he back up against a wall.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, just tell me where he is, and you might live." The women with a fox mask spoke.

"I-i told you, I don't know!" He yelled. The White Fox just shook her head and pulled out her sword.

"Wrong answer." She spoke as she thrusted the sword into the ghouls stomach. Causing blood to pour out. She quickly pulled the blade out and swipped it across his neck. She lifted her foot and kicked the ghouls head from his body.

"Didn't even put up a fight." She sighed as she cleaned off her balde. She snuck back and let the shadows consume her as she fled the scene. Another failed mission.

"Don't worry, I'll find you.....Ken Kaneki." And like that she was gone. No closer to the finding her friend. But she swear that she won't give up. That one day, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even a year from now that she'll find him, slap him, and get him to come home. If only she knew what the future holds.
